Abstract
В широком понимании настоящее изобретение относится к способу окисления соединений, содержащих серу в окислительном состоянии менее +4, таких как HS, CS, COS и пары Sдо SO, при этом указанный способ включает этап контактирования газа и окислителя с каталитически активным материалом, состоящим из одного или нескольких элементов, выбранных из группы, состоящей из V, W, Се, Mo, Fe, Ca, Mg, Si, Ti и Al в элементарной форме, в форме оксидов, карбидов или сульфидов, при необходимости, в присутствии других элементов в концентрации менее 1 мас.%, при температуре от 180 до 290, 330, 360 или 450°С, при этом преимуществом указанной температуры является высокая эффективность использования энергии, и преимуществом использования указанных элементов является то, что они обладают низкой склонностью к образованию сульфатов при указанных условиях, в результате чего преимущественно стабильность каталитически активного материала повышается. Другими присутствующими элементами могут быть каталитически активные благородные металлы или примеси в перечисленных материалах.
