Описывается фармацевтическая композиция, включающая фармацевтический разбавитель и соединение формулы IX R=H или C-C-алкил, циклоалкил, алкенил, арил, арилалкил или алкиларил, =CHR, -C(O)OR, -C(O)R, -CHC(O)OR, -CHC(O)NHR, где Rпредставляет H или C-C-алкил, циклоалкил или алкенил; R=C-C-алкил, циклоалкил, алкенил, арил, арилалкил или алкиларил; X=-ORили NHR, где Rпредставляет H, C-C-алкил, циклоалкил, алкенил, арил, арилалкил или алкиларил, причем, Rгруппа дополнительно содержит карбонильную группу, карбоксильную группу, карбоксамидную группу, спиртовую группу или простую эфирную группу, далее Rгруппа дополнительно содержит один или более атомов галогена; при условии, что когда Rпредставляет =CH, тогда Xне является группой -OH. Описываются также соединения, охватываемые объемом формулы IX, а также различные использования фармацевтических композиций для потери веса, противомикробного и противоопухолевого применения, ингибирования синтазы жирных кислот и нейропептида-Y и стимуляции активности карнитин-пальмитоил-трансферазы-1.Отчет о международном поиске был опубликован 2004.07.22.
