Claims (15)
1. Fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af et chrommetal-chromoxid-coatet substrat ved elektrolytisk aflejring af chrommetal-chrom-oxidcoatingen på et elektrisk ledende substrat fra en elektrolytopløsning, der omfatter en trivalent chromforbindelse og et chelateringsmiddel, hvor elektrolytopløsningen er fri for chloridioner og et borsyrebuffermiddel, det elektrisk ledende substrat fungerer som en katode og en anode omfatter en katalytisk coating af iridiumoxid eller et blandet metaloxid vælges til at reducere eller eliminere oxideringen af Cr(III)-ioner til Cr(VI)-ioner.
2. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, hvor elektrolytten omfatter et konduktivitets forbedrende salt, fortrinsvis et alkalimetalsulfat, mere fortrinsvis kaliumsulfat eller natriumsulfat.
3. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1 eller krav 2, hvor chelateringsmidlet omfatter et alkalimetalcarboxylat, fortrinsvis kaliumformiat eller natriumformiat.
4. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor elektrolytopløsningen er fri for et buffermiddel.
5. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor den trivalente chromforbindelse omfatter basisk chrom(III)sulfat.
6. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor det blandede metaloxid omfatter oxider af iridium og tantal.
7. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor elektrolytopløsningen er fri for en depolarisator, fortrinsvis kaliumbromid.
8. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor elektrolytopløsningens pH justeres til mellem 2,6 og pH 3,4, fortrinsvis mellem pH 2,8 og pH 3,0.
9. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor det elektrisk ledende substrat tilvejebringes ved elektrolytisk aflejring af en tincoating på én eller begge sider af et stålsubstrat og udsættelse af det tincoatede stål for en diffusionsannealingsbehandling for at danne en jem-tin-legering på stålet.
10. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1-8, hvor det elektrisk ledende substrat omfatter sortblik eller hvidblik.
11. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor en organisk coating tilvejebringes på én eller begge sider af det chrommetal-chromoxid-coatede substrat.
12. Chrommetal-chromoxid-coatet substrat fremstillet i henhold til fremgangsmåden ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor coatingen endvidere omfatter chromcarbid.
13. Chrommetal-chromoxid-coatet substrat ifølge krav 12, hvor coatingen endvidere omfatter organisk carbon.
14. Chrommetal-chromoxid-coatet substrat ifølge krav 12 eller krav 13, hvor coatingen endvidere omfatter chromsulfat.
15. Anvendelse af det chrommetal-chromoxid-coatede substrat ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 12-14 i emballageanvendelser.
