Claims (18)
1. Formlens forbindelse (II):
hvor: R1, R2, R3, R4 og R5 er valgt uafhængigt blandt hydrogen, hydrocarbyl og erstattet hydrocarbyl; R6 er valgt blandt hydrogen, hydrocarbyl og erstattet hydrocarbyl; R7 er ikke til stede; Z er valgt blandt svovl, sulfon, sulfoxid og selen; og n er et helt tal > 1; forudsat at, hvis Z er svovl og n er 1, så er R1 og R3 ikke hydrogen.
2. Forbindelsen ifølge krav 1, hvor R1, R2, R3, R4 og R5 er hydrogen; n er fra 1 til 10; og R6 er et lavkædet alkyl valgt blandt methyl, ethyl, propyl, isopropyl, cyclopropyl, butyl, secbutyl, t-butyl, cyclobutyl, pentyl, cyclopentyl og hexyl.
3. Forbindelsen ifølge krav 1, hvor forbindelsen har formlen (Ilb):
hvor: R1 er valgt blandt hydrogen, alkyl, aryl, alkylaryl, erstattet alkyl, erstattet aryl og erstattet alkylaryl; og R6 er valgt blandt hydrogen, alkyl, aryl, alkylaryl, erstattet alkyl, erstattet aryl og

En proces til fremstilling af forbindelsen ifølge ethvert af kravene 1 til 9, processen omfatter: (al) kontaktering af en forbindelse af formlen (VI) med en forbindelse af formlen (VIII) og en syrekatalysator og (bl) dehydrering af den resulterende reaktionsblanding for at danne en forbindelse ifølge ethvert af kravene 1 til 9, eller (a2) opvarmning af en forbindelse af formlen (VI) med en forbindelse af formlen (VIII) for at danne en polymer og (b2) opvarmning af polymeren ved en temperatur omkring på 200 °C og et tryk på mindre end 0,13 kPa (1 Torr) for at danne forbindelsen ifølge ethvert af kravene 1 til 9, forbindelserne af formlen (VI) og (VIII):

12. Processen ifølge krav 11, hvor syrekatalysatoren i trin (al) er p-toluol- sulfonsyre; reaktionsblandingen i trin (al) opvarmes til en temperatur fra 100 °C til 150
°C; reaktionsblandingen i trin (bl) dehydreres ved hjælp af destillation; og trin (a2) gennemføres ved en temperatur fra 100 °C til 150 °C.
