Claims (12)

1. Tørret vanddispergerbar sammensætning omfattende fra 60% til 98% calciumcarbo-natpartikler med en gennemsnitlig partikeldiameter på mindre end 10 μιτι som et hvidt pigment og fra 5% til 40% af mindst ét stivelsesnatriumoctenylsuccininatderivat som hydrokolloid.
2. Tørret vanddispergerbar sammensætning ifølge krav 1, hvor sammensætningen har et vandindhold på mindre end 5% baseret på den totale sammensætning.
3. Anvendelse af den vanddispergerbare sammensætning ifølge krav 1 eller 2 til hvid farvning af et spiseligt eller farmaceutisk produkt.
4. Anvendelse ifølge krav 3, hvor den gennemsnitlige partikeldiameter af calciumcar-bonatpartiklerne er mindre end 1 pm.
5. Fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af den vanddispergerbare sammensætning ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 2, hvilken fremgangsmåde omfatter fremstilling afen suspension af calciumcarbonat ved at findele det faste pigment i et vandigt medium i nærværelse af mindst 0,5 vægt% stivelsesnatriumoctenylsuccinatderivat som hydrokolloid; og tørring af sammensætningen for at opnå en tørret vanddispergerbar sammensætning.
6. Anvendelse ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 3 til 4, hvor den vanddispergerbare sammensætning anvendes i en coating til det spiselige eller farmaceutiske produkt.
7. Anvendelse ifølge krav 6, hvor produktet er et konfektionsprodukt, og hvor coatingen fremstilles ved dragering.
8. Anvendelse ifølge krav 7, hvor konfektionsproduktet er et tyggegummi.
9. Anvendelse ifølge krav 7, hvor konfektionsproduktet er en chokoladelinse.
10. Anvendelse ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 3 til 4, hvor produktet er en fedtreduceret fødevare.
11. Anvendelse ifølge krav 10, hvor den fedtreducerede fødevare er en fedtfattig salatdressing eller en fedtfattig mayonnaise.
12. Anvendelse ifølge krav 7, hvor drageringsprocessen omfatter opbygning af et lag af finmaskede sukkerkrystaller rundt om et præformet centrum (f.eks. en tyggegummibase) ved sprøjtning af en sirup på centrene i en drageringsmaskine, hvor den vand-dispergerbare sammensætning ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 2 tilsættes til siruppen før sprøjtning af siruppen på centrene.
