Fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af furanpolymerimprægneret træ omfattende imprægnering af et stykke træ med en polymeriseringsdygtig furfurylalkohol-monomerblanding, kendetegnet ved, at blandingen omfatter vand, furfurylalko-hol, en stabilisator og en initiator, og hvor - stabilisatoren er valgt fra vandopløselige ligninderivater sammen med en yderligere stabilisator valgt fra natriumcarbonat, natriumhydrogencarbonat, natriumcitrat, phosphater og calcium- eller ammoniumsalte af lignosulfon-syrer, og - initiatoren er valgt fra maleinsyreanhydrid, phthalsyreanhydrid, maleinsy-re, maleinsyre, phthalsyre, benzoesyre, malonsyre, ascorbinsyre, borsyre, citronsyre, zinkchlorid, aliminiumchlorid, andre cykliske organiske anhydri-der og syrer og kombinationer heraf, påføring af et tryk fra 1 -10 bar i et tryktrin, efterfulgt af et hærdningstrin.
2. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, kendetegnet ved, at hærdningen udføres ved omtrent stuetemperatur i nogle dage eller uger.
3. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, kendetegnet ved, at hærdningen udføres ved anvendelse af en temperatur i området fra ca. 70°C til ca. 140°C.
4. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, kendetegnet ved, at hærdningen fordrer konventionel ovntørring under anvendelse af normale temperaturprotokoller for at tørre ubehandlet, grønt træ af samme størrelse og art som det imprægnerede materiale, med temperaturer ved begyndelsen af hærdningen på ca. 45°C og ved afslutningen ca. 90°C, med et endeligt sluthærdningstrin mellem 100°C til 140°C for materialet med maksimal hårdhed og tørhed.
5. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, kendetegnet ved, at nævnte hærdning og tørring udføres under anvendelse af høj temperaturovn protokoller i temperaturområdet 80°C til 120°C med et endeligt sluthærdningstrin mellem 120°C til 140°C.
6. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, kendetegnet ved, at hærdningen udføres ved at neddykke det behandlede materiale i varm olie i temperaturområdet fra 80°C til 120°C med temperaturen enten fastholdt eller begyndende lavere i området og stigende som hærdningen og tørringen skrider frem.
7. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et vilkårligt af de foregående krav, som yderligere omfatter trinnet at påføre et vakuum i et vakuumtrin før tryktrinnet.
8. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et vilkårligt af de foregående krav 1 til 7, som yderligere omfatter trinnet at påføre et vakuum i et vakuumtrin efter tryktrinnet.
9. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et vilkårligt af de foregående krav, hvor fremgangsmåden omfatter: i) opfyldning af en beholder med træ og sikring af indholdet, således at det ikke vil flyde, ii) lukning af døren og påtrykning af et delvist vakuum, iii) fyldning af beholderen med behandlingsblanding, mens vakuum opretholdes, iv) tryksætning af det neddykkede træ til et tryk i området 5 til 10 bar afhængigt af træarter og andre faktorer, v) efter tilstrækkelig tid under tryk reduktion af trykket til 2 eller 3 bar og fjernelse af behandlingsvæsken med det resterende tryk, vi) fjernelse af alt tryk, åbning og dør og fjernelse af behandlet træ til hærdningsarealet.
10. Anvendelse af en blanding omfattende en polymeriseringsdygtig furfurylal-koholmonomer til træimprægnering, hvor blandingen yderligere omfatter vand, en stabilisator og en initiator, hvor stabilisatoren er valgt fra vandopløselige lig-ninderivater sammen med en yderligere stabilisator valgt fra natriumcarbonat, natriumhydrogencarbonat, natriumcitrat, phosphater og calcium- eller ammoniumsalte af lignosulfonsyrer, og initiatoren er valgt fra malesinsyreanhydrid, phthalsyreanhydrid, maleinsyre, malinsyre, phthalsyre, benzoesyre, malonsyre, ascorbinsyre, borsyre, citronsyre, zinkchlorid, aluminiumchlorid, andre cykliske organiske anhydrider og syrer og kombinationer heraf.
11. Træimprægneringsblanding omfattende en polymeriseringsdygtig furfuryl-alkoholmonomer, hvor blandingen yderligere omfatter vand, en stabilisator og en initiator, hvor stabilisatoren er natriumcarbonat, og initiatoren er maleinsyre-anhydrid, hvor koncentrationen af stabilisatoren er 0,2 - 1,75% baseret på vægten af vand, og koncentrationen af initiatoren er 0,4 - 3,5% baseret på vægten af vand, og hvor koncentrationen af initiatoren er to gange koncentrationen af stabilisatoren.
12. Træimprægneringsblanding ifølge krav 11, hvor koncentrationen af furfuryl-alkoholen er 12% baseret på vægten af vand.
