Ved installation af stikledninger til gasforsyning er det vigtigt at udføre en perfekt forsegling ved forbindelser i røret eller mellem rør og muffer. En kendt teknik til udførelse af sådanne samlinger er base-5 ret på anvendelsen af termoplastiske materialer, der opvarmes til sammensmeltning med muffen eller røret.
Med henblik herpå kan en rørformet forbindelsesmuffe af plast 6g med en integreret varmetråd anbringes over enderne på to rørlængder, som skal samles, og varme-10 tråden kan kobles til en elforsyning, så at plastmaterialet blødgøres ved opvarmning og danner en klæbeforbindelse med stikledningens materiale.
En fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af sådanne muffer er omtalt i britisk patentskrift nr. 1 373 761.
15 Ved denne fremgangsmåde anbringes et par stålbånd på en dorn,og et stykke modstandstråd vikles i skruelinie-form på dornen mellem båndene og forbindes til disse ved enderne. Et plastbånd fra en extruder vikles uden om den skruelinieformede modstandstråd 20 på dornen, til en forud fastsat tykkelse af plastmateriale er opbygget. Fortrinsvis strækkes plastbåndet under påviklingen, så at det er forspændt og kan krympe mod røret, når modstandstråden opvarmes. Slutteligt aftages den komplette muffe fra dornen.
25 Ved en anden fremgangsmåde, som er beskrevet i britisk patentskrift nr. 1 440 713, lægges en varmetråd i en skruelinieformet rille i overfladen af en præform af termoplast, og en plastkappe omstøbes derefter til fastholdelse af tråden. Muffen forspændes der-30 næst ved påpresning på en konisk dorn.
Ved den første fremgangsmåde er det en ulempe, at forspændingen af muffen ved strækning af plastbåndet er meget følsom over for variationer i det termoplastiske materiales mekaniske egenskaber, og den anden frem- 2 149052 gangsmåde kræver et ekstra forspændingstrin/ efter at muffen er fremstillet.
Med udgangspunkt i den forklarede kendte teknik angår opfindelsen en fremgangsmåde ved fremstilling 5 af rørformede muffer bestemt til varmeforsegling til rør eller rørdele, ved hvilken et stykke modstandstråd med sin ene ende fastgøres til en rørformet præform af et termoplastisk materiale og lægges i skruevikling om denne samt med sin anden ende fast-10 gøres til præformen, hvorefter skrueviklingen indkaps-les med en kappe af termoplast, og til undgåelse af de foran forklarede ulemper er denne fremgangsmåde ejendommelig ved, at modstandstråden opvarmes og i varm tilstand lægges på præformen. I dette tilfælde 15 er modstandstråden under pålægningen altså forlænget ved opvarmning, og ved den efterfølgende køling til omgivelsernes temperatur fremkalder den en forspænding i.præformens materiale.
Modstandstråden opvarmes fortrinsvis tilstræk-20 keligt til enten blødgøring af plastpræformen eller lokal smeltning af denne til frembringelse af en kant eller grat, der delvis dækker modstandstrådens overflade. Når modstandstråden er afkølet så meget, at den ikke længere kan trænge ind i plastmaterialet, vil 25 den ved sin fortsatte afkøling blive fastholdt i plastmaterialet under samtidig opnåelse af forspændingen. I begge tilfælde forbedres modstandstrådens fiksering i plastmaterialet, og denne virkning kan intensiveres ved, at der tillige foretages en strækning af modstandstråden 30 før pålægningen, og at der som termoplast i præformen anvendes polyethylen, polypropylen eller polybutylen.
En udførelsesform for fremgangsmåden ifølge opfindelsen er i det følgende nærmere forklaret under henvisning til tegningen, hvor 35 fig. la-lc viser tre stadier ved fremstillin gen af en rørformet, varmeforseglelig muffe, og fig. 2a-2c visse særforanstaltninger ved en muffe fremstillet ved fremgangsmåden i fig. 1.

Om en cylindrisk dorn 1, fig. la-lc, er der anbragt et todelt sprøjteværktøj 2, af hvilket dog kun den ene del er vist. Sprøjteværktøjet og dornen afgrænser tilsammen hulrummet 3, hvori termoplastisk 5 materiale, såsom polyethylen, polybutylen eller polypropylen, kan indsprøjtes gennem indløb 4 til frembringelse af en støbt præform 5. Dornen 1 kan omfatte to eller flere komponenter afhængig af faconen og størrelsen åf den præform 5, som skal støbes.
10 Eksempelvis er mindst to dele nødvendige, hvis et indvendigt ringformet midterstop forlanges støbt i præformen 5. Efter støbningen åbnes værktøjet 2, og dornen 1 med præformen 5 anbringes i en viklebænk 6. Den ene ende af et stykke modstandsvarme-15 tråd 7 fastgøres til en terminal 8 på præformen 5, og dornen drejes til skruevikling af tråden på præ-formen. Fra en spole 9, fig. Ib, føres modstandstrå-den gennem en varmer 11. Når viklingen er færdig, fastgøres den anden ende af varmetråden 7 til en 20 anden terminal 10. Dornen 1 med præformen 5 aftages fra viklebænken 6 og anbringes i endnu et todelt sprøjteværktøj 12, fig. lc, i hvilket den skrueviklede varmetråd indkapsles i en kappe 13, som dannes ved indsprøjtning af et yderligere lag termo-25 plast gennem indløb 14. Dornen med muffen tages derpå ud af sprøjteværktøjet 12 og gives lejlighed til afkøles, hvorefter den færdige muffe aftrækkes fra dornen 1.
Fig. 2a er et planbillede af muffens trådviklede 30 præform 5, fig. 2b et snit efter linien AA' i fig. 2a, men efter påstøbning af indkapslingskappen 13, og fig. 2c et billede set i retningen X i fig. 2a. Claims (5)
1. Fremgangsmåde ved fremstilling af rørformede muffer bestemt til varmeforsegling til rør eller rørdele, ved hvilken et stykke modstandstråd (7) med 30 sin ene ende fastgøres til en rørformet præform (5) af et termoplastisk materiale og lægges i skruevikling om denne samt méd sin anden ende fastgøres til præformen, hvorefter skrueviklingen indkapsles med en 149052 kappe (13) af termoplast, kendetegnet ved, at modstandstråden (7) opvarmes og i varm tilstand lægges på præformen (5).
2. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, kende-5 tegnet ved, at modstandstråden (7) opvarmes tilstrækkeligt til blødgøring af plastpræformen (5), når tråden pålægges denne,
3. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 2, kendetegnet ved, at modstandstråden (7) opvarmes 10 tilstrækkeligt til lokal smeltning af plastpræformen (5) til frembringelse af en kant, der delvis dækker modstandstrådens overflade.
