Description
- Schneidöl für Hochleistungswerkzeugmaschinen zum Bearbeiten von Metall und seinen Legierungen Die üblichen Kühl:mittelöle, insbesondere die mit Wasser mischbaren sogenannten Bohröle, genügen den gesteigerten Ansprüchen der Hochleistung:sbearbeitungs:maschinen (Automaten) nicht mehr. Man benutzt :daher SpezIalschneidöle, unter, .denen man ihrer Zusammensetzung nach mineralische, tierische und auch pflanzliche Öle (auch sulfuriert) oder Mischungen :aus solchen versteht. Besonders die tierischen oder pflanzlichen Öle oder auch nur Zusätze .dieser haben sich als günstig in bezug auf längere Schnitthaltigkeit :des Schneldstahles bei absolut glatten Schnittflächen erwiesen. Dadurch, daß die fetten Öle aber infolge ihrer Unstabilität sehr leicht zu Veränderungen neigen, werden nicht nur die Schnittleistungen beeinträchtigt, sondern es können auch infolge Verharzungserscheinungen schwere mechanische Störungen auftreten.
- Versuche haben nun ergaben, daß rein paraffinbasische, synthetische Öle für solche Zwecke besonders geeignet sind.
- Erfindungsgemäß wird .daher die Verwendung dieser Öle als Schneidöl zur Bearbeitung von Metall und seinen Legierungen. auf Hochleistungswerkzeugmaschinen vorgeschlagen. Es handelt sich hier um Öle, welche überwiegend, d. h. zu mehr als 75%, aus Homologen der Methanreihe C. H2 , + 2 bestehen und die bei der Treibstoffsynthesenach i# ischer-Trop_sch, insbesondere beim Mitteldruckverfahren, entfallen. Von den dabei entstehenden Produkten haben sich die sogenannten Schweröle am geeignetsten erwiesen; d.lr.-Öle, die bei der fraktionierten Destillation im Englerkolben oberhalb .der Lösungsmittel- und Treibstofffraktion" d. h. bei Temperaturen höher als 200°, übergehen, und zwar zum größten Teil innerhalb .der Siedegrenzen von 2,30 Abis 3.2o°.
- Diese Öle, die ihrer Herkunft nach praktisch ausschließlich Paraffinkohlenwasserstoffe enthalten, verbinden mit einer günstigen Einwirkung .auf die Schnittleistung der Werkzeü.ge eine praktisch vollkommene Beständigkeit. _ . .._ _ . __ . , .
- Die günstige Einwirkung auf. die Schnittleistunäen tritt ,besonders stark bei der Bearbeitung von Nichteisenmetallen, insbesondere von --Leichtmetallen, wie .z. B. Aluminium, von z.. B. Zink und deren Legierungen auf: Das letztere ist von besonderer Bedeutung, da bekanntlich die sogenannten schmierenden Metalle schwierig zu bearbeiten sind.
- Es besteht ohne weiteres die Möglichkeit, diese synthetischen öle je nach Art der Verwendung; beispielsweise mit tierischen oder pflanzlichen-Fetten zu mischen, auch können Metallseifen; z. B. Aluminiumseifen, zugesetzt werden. Bei Werkzeugmaschinen, die mit weniger hohen Schnittleistungen arbeiten, könnengleichfalls Emulsionen der synthetischen Öle oder Emulsionen der synthetischen-Öle--und ihrer Mischungen verwendet werden. Durch .den Gegenstand der Erfindung werden einmal die Leistungen der Werkzeugmaschinen erhöht und zum anderen ein störungsfreier -Betrieb derselben gewährleistet, da infolge der Beständigkeit ihrer Verbindungen diese Öle keinerlei Verharzungserscheinungen aufweisen. Ebenfalls hat sich die Schnitthaltigkeit der Werkzeuge als sehr günstig erwiesen.

- PATENTANSPRUCH: .Verwendung von synthetischenpar.affinisch.en Ölen vom Siedebereich etwa zwischen 2,30 und 320g, -die- insbesondere durch die Kohlenoxydhydrierung nach: Fischer-Tropsch, nach dem sogenärintenMitteldrückverfahren, erhalten werden, gegebenenfalls in Mischung mit tierischen und pflanzlichen Fetten und Metallseifen oder in.Form von Emulsionen als Schneidöl für Hocbleistungswerkzeugmaschinen zum Bearbeiten von Metall und seinen Legierungen, insonderheit zum Bearbeiten schmierender Metalle, -wie Aluminium oder Zink.
