Description

  • Kühlöl Die Erfindung betrifft ein Kühlmittel für die Zerspanung und die spanlose Bearbeitung von Metallen.
  • Bei der Metallverarbeitung verwendet man bekanntlich unter der. Bezeichnung Bohröle wasserlösliche Kühlöle. Nichtwasserlölsliche Erzeugnisse pflegt man dagegen schlechthin als Kühlöle oder als Schneidöle zu bezeichnen.
  • Die Erfindung betrifft lediglich nichtwasserlösliche Erzeugnisse, also ein Kühlöl im engeren Sinne. Derartige Kühlöle bestehen bekanntlic fvorzu@gsweise aus Rübölen und anderen hochwertigen fetten ölen bzw. Speiseölen mit oder ohne Zusatz von Mineralölen.
  • Weiterhin sind auch- Mischungen unter Zusatz von chlorierten Erzeugnissen, Schwefelanl.agerungserzeugnis.sen usw. bekannt.
  • Es ist auch bekannt, daß' die Schmierfähigkeit von ölen durch Chlor oder Schwefelanlagerung gesteigert wird. Allerdings mußten dafür unerwünschte Korrosionserscheinungen durch Abspaltungen von korrodierenden Schwefel- oder Chlorverbindungen ia-i Kauf genommen werden. Es wurde außerdem beobachtet, daß chlorierte Verbindungen eine höhere Filmzerreißbarkeit hervorriefen, wenn das Chlor an aliphatische Körper bzw. aliphatische Gruppen gebunden ist, als wenn es direkt an ringförmige Verbindung angelagert wurde.
  • Es wurde aber festgestellt, daß die Schmierfähigkeit und Eignung als Kühlöl oder Schneidöl keineswegs in gleicher Richtung liegen, wie man bisher angenommen hatte. So wurde gefunden, daß hochwertige Schmieröle, insbesondere auch chlorhaltige Schmieröle, keineswegs allgemein als Kühlöle besonders geeignet sind.
  • Die vorliegende Erfindung beruht nun auf der Erkenntnis, daß ein Zusatz von chlorierter Sulfonaphthenseife, die durch Einwirkung von Chlor oder chlorierenden Mitteln auf Sulfonaphthenseife gewonnen worden ist, die Eigenschaften der bisher üblichen Kühlöle wesentlich steigert bzw. für diesen Zweck nicht brauchbare öle oder Mischungen mit Vorteil verwendungsfähig macht.
  • Durch Kühlöle, welche gemäß der Erfindung einen Zusatz von chlorierten Sulfonaphthenseifen aufweisen, werden die Werkzeuge und Arbeitsstücke besser gekühlt, und es werden besonders auf Hochleistungsmaschinen und beim Gewindeschneiden bedeutend bessere Leistungen erreicht. Auffallend ist dabei, daß die mit chlorierten Sulfonaphthenseifen hergestellten Kühlöle trotz ihrer gesteigerten Kühlwirkung keine Korrosionswirkungen zeigen; diese Erscheinung :steht im Gegensatz zu den. bisherigen Beobachtungen, nach denen die höhere Kühl= wirkung,' insbesondere eine höhere Schmierfähigkeit bei Schmierölen, praktisch stets mit Korrosionserscheinungen verbunden war.
  • Ein wesentlicher Vorteil der Erfindung besteht darin, daß die bisher auf den meisten Hochleistungswerkzeu;gmaschinen als unbedingt notwendig erachtete Verwendung von Rübölen und anderen hochwertigen Speiseölen vermieden werden kann, - da auch Mineralöle unter Zusatz von chlorierten Sulfonaphthenseifen ausgezeichnete Kühlöle ergeben können.
  • Beispiele 1. 2o Gewichtsteile chlorierter Sulfonaphthenseife, 50i0 chloriertes fettes Öl, z. B. Erdnußöl, Rüböl, Senffettöl usw., und 75 Gewichtsteile Spindeöl werden zusammengemischt als Hochleistungskühlöl auf Werkzeugmaschinen aller Art verwendet.
  • 2. 11, 5 Gewichtsteile chlorierter Sulfonaphthenseife, $8,5 Gewichtsteile Rüböl werden sorgfältig gemischt. Das- Produkt eignet sich hervorragend als Hochleistungskühlöl zur Verwendung auf Werkzeugmaschinen aller Art.
  • 3. 2o Gewichtsteile chlorierter Sulfonaphthenseife und 8o Gewichtsteile Mineralöle werden sorgfältig vermischt und als Hochleistungskühlöl auf Werkzeugmaschinen verwendet.

  1. PATENTANSPRUCH: Kühlöl für die Zerspanung und die spanlose Bearbeitung von Metallen, gekennzeichnet durch einen Gehalt an chlorierten. Sulfonaphthenseifen, die durch Einwirkung von Chloroder chlorierenden Mitteln auf Sulfonaphthenseifen gewonnen worden sind.
