Description
- Aufsaugkissen Die Erfindung betrifft Bausche oder Kissen aus aufsaugefähigem Stoff, insbesondere für Monatsbinden und andere sanitäre oder wundärztliche Zwecke.
- Hauptzweck der Erfindung ist es, ein Kissen herzustellen, das im Gebrauch jede ihm zugeführte Flüssigkeit mit seinem inneren Teile aufsaugt, ohne dem Ausscheidungsstoff die Möglichkeit zu geben, über die örtlich begrenzte Aufsaugfläche hinaus Verunreinigungen zu verursachen, so daß die mit dem Körper des Trägers in Verbindung stehende übrige Fläche trocken, weich und sauber gehalten wird. Wundreiben und andere Reizungen der Haut sowie Beschmutzen der Kleidung werden wirksam verhindert.
- Ein wesentliches Merkmal der Erfindung liegt in einem Aufsaugkissen, das ein besonderes aufsaugefähiges Mittelstück oder eine Schicht hat, die fähig ist, den größten Teil des aufgesogenen Ausscheidungsstoffes an sich zu ziehen und zu sammeln. So ist die Flüssigkeitsaufnahme in dieser Schicht im wesentlichen zentralisiert und neigt nicht dazu, durch den Bausch hindurch nach den äußeren Oberflächen durchzunässen.
- Zu diesem Zweck wird nach der Erfindung ein Bausch benutzt, der aus einem Hauptteil aus hochaufsaugefähigen und leicht auflösbaren, verfilzten Zellstoffasern und einem Mittelstück aus Pflanzenpaste oder Puder besteht, nährend das Mittelstück eine größere Fähigkeit zum Anziehen und Aufsaugen von Flüssigkeiten als der genannte Hauptteil hat, so daß die aufgesaugten Flüssigkeiten innerhalb des Bausches zusammengezogen werden.
- Gemäß der bildlichen Darstellung des Erfindungsgegenstandes wird der Bausch durch L'bereinanderlegung mehrerer Lagen aus aufsaugefähigen und leicht auflösbaren verfilzten Zellstoffasern gebildet. Eine dieser Lagen enthält auf.ihrer Innenfläche, in gewissem Abstand von den Seitenrändern, eine besonders hoch aufsaugefähige Pflanzenpaste oder Puder. Werden die Schichten genau aufeinandergelegt, so bildet diese hochaufsaugefähige Paste oder der Puder ein Mittelstück, das die Flüssigkeit von der oberen Seite, dem Boden und den Seiten des Bausches aufzusaugen strebt. Die gesamte äußere Fläche der zusammengelegten Lagen wird hierauf mit einem Flüssigkeiten abweisenden Stoff, der das Zurückfließen und Aufsaugen der Flüssigkeit nach der äußeren Fläche zu verhindert, behandelt. Der Bausch ist nach Einschlagen in eine dünne Gaze zum Gebrauch fertig.
- Auf der Zeichnung ist in einer beispielsweisen Ausführungsform der Gegenstand der Erfindung dargestellt-, Abb. i zeigt einen Grundriß des Bausches. Abb. 2 ist eine schaubildliche Ansicht des Bausches mit der noch nicht zusammengelegten Gaze und zurückgeschlagener oberer Schicht des Aufsaugeteiles.
- Abb.3 stellt eine Schnittsicht längs der Linie 3-3 in der Abb. 2 dar, in der Pfeilrichtung gesehen.
- Der Bausch in der dargestellten Ausführungsform besteht aus den oberen und unteren Schichten i und 2 aus aufsaugefähigem Stoff. Zu diesem Zweck kann passendes Material beliebiger Art genommen werden; vorzuziehen ist jedoch die Verwendung eines verfilzten Faserbreierzeugnisses, das besonders weich, leicht, äußerst aufsaugefähig und billig herstellbar ist. Ein derartiger Stoff löst sich leicht in Wasser und kann deshalb in der Spülleitung eines Abortes fortgespült werden, ohne zur Verstopfung der Spülrohre o. dgl. zu führen. Die Oberfläche der unteren Schicht 2 des Bausches ist mit einem hochaufsaugefähigen Stoff überzogen. Dieser Überzug wird feucht angebracht und besteht vorzugsweise aus Kartoffelmehl, Getreidestärke, Tapioka, Dextrin, Gelatine o. dgl., dem etwa i °/o Alaun zugefügt wird. Dieser Überzug wird klebend auf irgendeine Art, etwa durch Aufsprengen, aufgebracht. Diese übergezogene Fläche 3 ragt nicht über die Seitenkanten der Lage 2 hinaus. Die Seiteneinfassungen q. der genannten Lage bleiben frei von dem Überzug.
- Die beiden Lagen i, 2 des Bausches werden, mit dem aufgebrachten Überzug in der Mitte, übereinandergelegt, während die nebeneinanderliegenden Flächen der einzelnen Lagen nach dem Trocknen aneinanderkleben und so ein zusammenhängendes Mittelstück bilden.
- Die Mittellage 3 verbindet nach dem Erhärten der Stärke o. dgl. den ganzen Bausch miteinander und gibt ihm eine durchschnittlich gleichmäßige Festigkeit. Die mittlere Lage hat die Eigenschaft, die betreffenden Flüssigkeiten aufzunehmen und diese seitlich im Innern zu ver-. teilen, was besser ist, als daß sie durch die ganze Stärke des Bausches in der Nähe der Auflagestelle aufgenommen werden. Die äußere Oberfläche der Lage i wird hierauf mit einem wasserabweisenden Öl, wie etwa Rüböl, besprengt oder in anderer Weise behandelt, um die Aufsaugefähigkeit der oberen Schicht örtlich zu beschränken. Die ölgetränkte Oberfläche des Bausches ist bei 5 in Abb. 3 angedeutet. Die Monatsbinde ist fertig nach Einschlag des Bausches in ein Gazestück 6. Die Gaze bildet gleichzeitig die in üblicher Weise herausragenden Enden 7 und 8, die zum Binden oder Befestigen erforderlich sind.
Claims (3)
- PATENTANSPRÜCHE: z. Aufsaugkissen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ein Hauptteil aus aufsaugefähigen und leicht auflösbaren verfilzten Zellstoffasern ein Mittelstück einschließt, das eine noch größere Aufsaugefähigkeit als der Hauptteil hat und aus Pflanzenpaste oder Puder besteht, so daß die Flüssigkeit hauptsächlich in das Innere des Bausches eingesogen wird.
- 2. Aufsaugkissen nach Anspruch i, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Außenflächen des Hauptteiles mit einem Stoff behandelt sind, der diese Flächen flüssigkeitabweisend, aber durchlässig macht.
- 3. Aufsaugkissen nach Anspruch i, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Mittelstück vorzugsweise aus Kartoffelmehl besteht. q.. Aufsaugkissen nach Anspruch i und 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß als flüssigkeitabweisender Stoff Rüböl verwendet wird.
