t/ Die Erfindung betrifft neue 4-substituierte-Oxy-3-pyridincarboxamidverbindungen,
ihre 1-Oxide und ihre Säureadditionssalze. Diese Verbindungen zeigen gegenüber dem
Pflanzenwachstum eine inhibierende Aktivität.
Soweit es der Anmelderin bekannt ist, werden in der Literatur
2,6-disubstituierte-4-substituierte-Oxy-3-pyridincarboxamidverbindungen
und 2,6-disubstituierte-4-substituierte-Oxy-3-pyridincarboxamid-l-oxide
und ihre Säureadditionssalze der Formel (I) und (I') nicht beschrieben.
Die Erfindung betrifft Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel (I), ein 1-Oxid der allgemeinen Formel (I1) und ihre

eine niedrige Alkyl-, eine gegebenenfalls substituierte Phenyl- oder gegebenenfalls substituierte

oder 4 steht).
Bei der vorliegenden Erfindung bedeuten Alkylgruppen lineare und verzweigte Kohlenwasserstoffgruppen, wie Methyl,
Ethyl, Propyl, Isopropyl, Butyl, Isobutyl, Pentyl,
Isopentyl, Hexyl oder Octyl und umfaßt ebenfalls Cycloalkylalkylgrupen,
wie Cyclohexylmethyl oder Cyclopropylmethyl.
Der Ausdruck "niedrig", wie er in der vorliegenden Anmeldung verwendet wird, bedeutet 1 bis 6 Kohlenstoffatome.
Spezifisch können als Beispiele für niedrige Alkylgruppen Methyl, Ethyl, Propyl, Isopropyl, Butyl, Isobutyl,
tert.-Butyl, Pentyl oder Isopentyl, für niedrige Alkenyl- und niedrige AlkLnylgruppen Allyl, 2-Methyl-2-propenyl,
But-2-enyl, Pent-2-enyl oder 2-Propinyl erwähnt werden.
Beispiele für niedrige Alkoxy-niedrige Alkylgruppen und
niedrige Alkylthio-niedrige Alkylgruppen sind Methoxyethyl,
Ethoxyethyl, Methoxypropyl, Ethoxypropy1, Methylthioethyl,
Ethylthioethy1 und dergleichen.
Beispiele für niedrige Alkoxycarbonyl-nxedrige Alkylaruppcn
rund MpthoxycarbonylmethyI, Ethoxycarbony!methyl,
l-Methoxycarbonylethyl, Propoxycarbony lmethyl und ähnliche.
Beispiele für niedrige Alkoxygruppen sind Methoxy, Ethoxy,
Propoxy und ähnliche.
Beispiele für niedrige Alkoxycarbonylgruppen sind Methoxycarbonyl,
Ethoxycarbonyl, Propoxycarbony1 und ähnliche.
Beispiele für Aralkylgruppen sind Benzyl, 2-Phenylethyl,
3-Phenylpropyl, 4-Phenylbutyl und ähnliche, die am aromatischen
Kern durch eine niedrige Alkylgruppe mit 1 bis 3 Kohlenstoffatomen, eine Trifluormethylgruppe oder ein
Halogenatom substituiert sein können.
Beispiele für Haloalkylgruppen sind Trifluormethyl, Difluormethyl,
Fluormethyl, Chlormethyl, Chlorethyl, Chlorpropyl, Bromethyl und ähnliche.
Beispiele für Cycloalkylgruppen sind Cyclopropyl, Cyclobutyl,
Cyclopentyl, Cyclohexyl und ähnliche.
Beispiele für Halogenatome sind Chlor-, Brom-, Fluor-
und Jodatome.
Beispiele für Arylgruppen sind Phenyl und Naphthyl.

Die erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel
(I) und ihre 1-Oxide können in Form eines Säureadditionssalzes
mit einer Säure, wie Chlorwasserstoffsäure,
Schwefelsäure, Phosphorsäure, Methansulfonsäure, p-Toluolsulfonsäure
oder Trifluoressigsäure, vorliegen. Solche Additionssalze sind ebenfalls Gegenstand der vorliegenden
Erfindung.
Die Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel (I) können hergestellt werden, indem man die folgenden Verfahren nacheinander
durchführt.
(1) Eine Verbindung der allgemeinen Formel (IV) wird durch Umsetzung einer Verbindung der allgemeinen Formel
(VII) oder (VII1) mit einer Verbindung der allgemeinen
Formel (VIII) (Reaktion A) oder durch Reaktion einer Verbindung der allgemeinen Formel (VII) oder (VII1) mit
einer Verbindung der allgemeinen Formel (IX) oder Diketen
(Reaktion B) hergestellt.
(2) Eine Verbindung der allgemeinen Formel (IV) wird in eine Verbindung der allgemeinen Formel (II) durch Umsetzung
der Verbindung der allgemeinen Formel (IV) mit Ammoniak (Reaktion C) oder einer Verbindung der allgemeinen
Formel (VI) mit einem Halogenierungsmittel (Reaktion D) überführt.
(3) Die Verbindung der allgemeinen Formel (I) wird durch Umsetzung der Verbindung der allgemeinen Formel (II)
mit einer Verbindung der allgemeinen Formel (III) erhalten.

(IX) verwendet wird, und sie liegt bevorzugt im Bereich von -20 bis 1300C, wenn Diketen verwendet wird.

bevorzugt unter Erhitzen durchführt.
Die erfindungsgemäße 1-Oxidverbindung, welche durch die
allgemeine Formel (I1) dargestellt wird, kann durch Umsetzung
wie folgt hergestellt werden:
Oxidationsmittel
Dieses Verfahren wird durchgeführt, indem man 4-substituierte-Oxy-3-pyridincarboxamidverbindungen
mit einem Oxidationsmittel, beispielsweise einem Hydroperoxid, wie
Wasserstoffperoxid, einem tert.-Buty!hydroperoxid oder
einer ähnlichen Verbindung oder einer organischen Persäure, wie Peressigsäure, Perbenzoesäure, m-Chlorperbenzoesäure
oder einer ähnlichen Säure, in Anwesenheit eines geeigneten Lösungsmittels behandelt.
Die folgenden Beispiele erläutern die Erfindung. Die physikalischen
Eigenschaften der Verbindungen der Beispiele sind in Tabelle I angegeben. Die Pflanzenwachstumshemmaktivitäten
der Verbindungen der Beispiele sind in der Tabelle II angegeben.
4-Butoxy-N-(2,6-diethylpheny1)-2,6-dimethy1-3-pyridincarboxamid
Ein Gemisch aus 895 mg (3,0 mmol) N-(2,6-Diethylphenyl)-1,4-dihydro-2,6-dimethyl-4-oxo-3-pyridincarboxamid,
617 mg (4,5 mmol) n-Butylbromid, 414 mg (3,0 mmol) Kaliumcarbonat und 15 ml N,N-Dimethy!formamid wird 2 Stunden bei 900C
gerührt.
Es werden etwa 50 ml Wasser zu dem Reaktionsgemisch zugegeben, und das Gemisch wird auf Raumtemperatur abgekühlt.
Es fällt ein Feststoff aus. Der erhaltene Feststoff wird aus einem Gemisch aus Ethylacetat und Hexan kristallisiert.
Man erhält 870 mg der Titelverbindung (Ausbeute: 82%) .

Die folgenden Verbindungen werden auf ähnliche Weise wie im Beispiel 1 beschrieben aus den entsprechenden 1,4-Dihydro-2,6-dimethyl-4-oxo-3-pyridincarboxamiden
und den entsprechenden halogenierten Verbindungen erhalten. Wenn der Siedepunkt der verwendeten halogenierten Verbindung
unter 900C liegt, wird die Reaktion jedoch bei Rückflußtemperatur
durchgeführt. Die als Ausgangsmaterial verwendeten halogenierten Verbindungen sind in der Tabelle I
angegeben.

Ν,Ν-Dimethylformamid wird 7 Stunden bei 900C Badtemperatur
gerührt. Zu dem Reaktionsgemisch werden etwa 100 ml Wasser zugegeben. Das Gemisch wird auf Raumtemperatur abgekühlt.
Es fallen Kristalle aus. Die Kristalle werden abfiltriert, gewaschen und bei verringertem Druck getrocknet.
Man erhält 2,14 g 2,6-Dimethyl-N-phenyl-4~propoxy-3-pyridmcarboxamid
(Ausbeute: 75,3%).
Fp: 129 bis 131°C
Dann wird ein Gemisch aus 1,42 g (5mmol des so erhaltenen
2,6-Dimethyl-N-phenyl-4-propoxy-3-pyridincarboxamids,
2,16 g (10 mmol) im Handel erhältliche m-Chlorperbenzoesäure
(80%ige Reinheit) und 40 ml Chloroform 8 Stunden bei Raumtemperatur gerührt. Das Reaktionsgemisch wird in
einen Scheidetrichter gegeben und nach der Zugabe von 10%iger wäßriger Natriumhydrogensulfitlösung geschüttelt.
Die abgetrennte ölige Phase wird mit einer wäßrigen gesättigten Natriumhydrogencarbonatlösung und dann mit
einer wäßrigen gesättigten Natriumchloridlösung gewaschen. Sie wird dann über wasserfreiem Magnesiumsulfat getrocknet
und filtriert. Das Filtrat wird konzentriert. Der Rückstand wird aus einem Gemisch aus Ethylacetat und Hexan
kristallisiert. Man erhält 1,37 g der Titelverbindung (Ausbeute: 91,2%).

Bezugsbeispiel
Ein Träger wird hergestellt, indem man 50 Teile (ausgedrückt
durch das Gewicht) Talk, 25 Teile Bentonit, 2 Teile
"Solpole-9047" (Toho Chemical Co., Ltd., Japan) und 3 Teile
"Solpole-5039" (Toho Chemical Co., Ltd., Japan) mischt.
50 Teile einer Testverbindung und 200 Teile Träger werden vermischt, wobei man ein 20%iges benetzbares Pulver
erhält. Das Pulver wird in destilliertem Wasser dispergeirt. Man erhält eine Dispersion mit definierter Konzentration.
Samen von Oryza sativa L., Echinochloa crus-galli L. und
Raphanus sativus L. werden in Laborschalen gezüchtet. Dazu wird dann die Dispersion gegeben. Nach dem Züchten während
7 Tagen in einem thermostatischen Kasten, der bei
25°C und Beleuchtung mit fluoreszierenden Röhren gehalten wird, wird das Pflanzenwachstum beobachtet. In der Spalte "Bewertung" in der Tabelle II bedeuten 1 keinen Einfluß, 2 25%ige Wachstumshemmung, 3 50%ige Wachstumshemmung, 4 bedeutet eine 75%ige Wachstumshemmung und 5 bedeutet eine 100%ige Wachstumshemmung.
25°C und Beleuchtung mit fluoreszierenden Röhren gehalten wird, wird das Pflanzenwachstum beobachtet. Claims (4)
- PATENTANSPRÜCHEworin R eine Alkyl-, eine niedrige Alkenyl-, eine niedrig-Alkinyl-, eine Aralkyl-, eine Haloalkyl-, eine niedrige Alkoxy-niedrige Alkyl-, eine niedrige Alkylthio-niedrige Alkyl- oder eine niedrige Alkoxycarbonyl-niedrige Alkylgruppe bedeutet, R eine Arylqruppe bedeutet, welche durch einen oder mehrere Substituenten, wie ein Halogenatom, eine niedrige Alkyl-, niedrige Alkoxy-, niedrige Alkoxycarbonyl-, Trifluormethyl-, Cyano- und Nitrogruppe substituiert sein kann, R und R gleich oder unterschiedlich rand und -Mne niedrige Alkyl-, eine Ära Ikyl-, eine Haloalkyl- oder Cycloalkyl- odor eine Arylgruppe bedeu-ten, wobei die Ary!gruppe durch ein oder mehrere Substituenten, wie ein Halogenatom, eine niedrige Alkyl-, eine niedrige Alkoxy-, eine Trifluormethyl-, eine Cyano-und eine Nitrogruppe substituiert sein kann, R ein Wasserstoff atom, ein Halogenatom, eine niedrige Alkyl-, eine gegebenenfalls substituierte Phenyl- oder gegebenenfalls4 substituierte Aralkylgruppe bedeutet oder worin R undR5 gemeinsam die Gruppe von - (CH2)n bedeuten, worin ηfür 3 oder 4 steht, und ihre 1-Oxide oder Säureadditionssalze.2
