Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Rammschutzzierleiste nach den Merkmalen des Oberbegriffes des einzigen Patentanspruches.
Eine Rammschutzzierleiste dieser Art ist aus der DE-PS 12 86 920 bekannt. Dabei ist das Trägerprofil aus Metall vollständig mit Kunststoff ummantelt. Soweit Teilbereiche des Trägerprofils kunststofffrei sein sollen, muß der Kunst­ stoff an diesen Stellen abgezogen werden, wozu Sollbruchstel­ len vorgesehen sind. Bei der bekannten Rammschutzzierleiste kann sich das Trägerprofil aus Metall durch den hohen auftre­ tenden Spritzdruck verformen, so daß die Oberfläche der Rammschutzzierleiste Wellungen unterschiedlichster Art auf­ weisen kann.
Der Erfindung liegt daher die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Rammschutz­ zierleiste der in Rede stehenden Art so auszubilden, daß die wesentlichen Teile ihres Trägerprofils beim Ummanteln mit Kunststoff sicher in der Spritzform gehalten werden können. Erfindungsgemäß wird diese Aufgabe bei einer Ramm­ schutzzierleiste durch die im kennzeichnenden Teil des Pa­ tentanspruchs angegebenen Merkmale gelöst.
Nachstehend ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung an­ hand einer Zeichnung erläutert. In der Zeichnung zeigt
Abb. I einen Querschnitt durch eine Rammschutzzierleiste mit einem einseitig angeordneten Aufnahmekanal für dort einrastbare Elemente und einem freiliegenden Schenkel, dessen Mittelteil innenseitig frei von Kunststoff ist und
Abb. II eine Draufsicht auf eine Rammschutzzierleiste mit einem nach Abb. I gestalteten Querschnitt.
Das Trägerprofil aus Metall ist mit einem Kunststoff 2, vor­ zugsweise mit Weich-PVC, ummantelt. Es weist einen durch Aufrasten befestgibaren Aufnahmekanal 4 und einen seitlich des Aufnahmekanals 4 liegenden Schenkel 1 auf.
In Abständen sind in dem Trägerprofil aus Metall Bohrungen 3 vorgesehen. Die Bohrungen 3 sind in dem sich an den Aufnah­ mekanal 4 anschließenden Rand 1′ des Schenkels 1 angeordnet. Sie sind im Durchmesser kleiner als die Kunststoffmaterial­ stärke.
Durch die Anordnung der Bohrungen 3 im metallischen Träger­ profil, wodurch zwischen dem oberhalb des Trägerprofils befindlichen und dem durch die Bohrungen fließenden Kunst­ stoff 2 ein Druckausgleich erfolgt, und durch die Werkzeug­ auflage im Mittelteil 1′′ des Schenkels 1 werden im Bereich des Schenkels 1 Wellungen an der sichtbaren Oberfläche des Kunststoffes vermieden.

Claims (1)

  1. Rammschutzzierleiste aus einem mit einem Kunststoff umspritz­ ten Trägerprofil aus Metall, das im Abstand voneinander ange­ ordnete Bohrungen zum Durchtritt des Kunststoffs aufweist und einen gegen die Leisteninnenseite hin offenen Aufnahmeka­ nal für darin einrastbare Befestigungselemente bildet, da­ durch gekennzeichnet, daß das Trägerprofil einen seitlich des innenseitig von Kunststoff freien Aufnahmekanal (4) liegenden Schenkel (1) hat, dessen Mittelteil (1′′) an der Leisteninnenseite freiliegt und dessen an den Aufnahmekanal (4) sich anschließender Rand (1′) mit den Bohrungen (3) ver­ sehen ist.
