Hydroxypyridon-Azofarbstoffe
Gegenstand der Erfindung sind neue Azodispersionsfarbstoffe, Verfahren zu ihrer Herstellung und ihre Verwendung zum Färben
von hydrophoben synthetischen Materialien.
Die von Sulfonsäure- und Anrnioniumgruppen freien Farbstoffe entsprechen
in einer ihrer möglichen tautomeren Formen der Formel

mit der Maßgabe, daß Y und Z für H, Cl, Br oder 0-E stehen, wenn X 4-Nitro bedeutet.
Geeignete Reste R, R1 und R2 sind neben Wasserstoff, CH5 und C3H6
lineare oder verzweigte C3- und C4-Alkylreste.
Die geradkettigen oder verzweigten Alkylreste A weisen 1-8 C-Atome
auf und können beispielsweise einmal durch CN, Cl, Br, C1-C4-Alkoxy,
Phenoxy, oder R-(OC2H4) - substituiert sein, wobei r
die Zahlen 2-4 bedeutet.
Als Alkenylrest A ist der Alljilr st bevorzugt.
Geeignetes Cycloalkyl A sind Cyclohexyl- oder Cyclopentylreste, die ggf. durch Methyl substituiert sind.
Geeignetes Aralkyl A ist der Benzyl-, Phenyläthyl- oder Phenylpropylrest.
Geeignetes Aryl B ist Phenyl, das durch NO2 oder l-3fach durch
CH5, Cl, Br, OCH3, OC2H6 oder CF3 substituiert sein kann, oder
1-Naphthyl.

CH3CN, Toluol, Chlorbenzol, Dichlorbenzol oder Nitrobenzol ggf.
unter Zusatz säurebindender Mittel wie z. B. Na- oder Ca-Carbonat, MgO,. Trialkylaminen oder Pyridin.

Die Kupplungskomponenten der allgemeinen Formel (IV) sind z. T.

oder in z. B. einem Alkanol wie Methanol, Äthanol, Isopropanol, n-Butanol und in Gegenwart einer Base, wie beispielweise KOH,
NaOH, Triäthylamln, 2-Aminoäthanol, Pyridin, Methjäamin, 3-Amino~
propanol-(l), usw., bei höherer Temperatur, z.B. Rückflußtemperatur, zu den Hydroxypyridonen (IV) kondensiert» R, R1, R2,

Die hierbei anfallenden Alkali- bzw. Aminsalze der Kupplungskomponente können entweder direkt oder nach Neutralisation mit
Säuren, wie z. B. Salzsäure oder Essigsäure, zur Kupplungsreaktion eingesetzt werden.

Sie erfindungsgemäßen Farbstoffe eignen sich, insbesondere in
feindisperser Form, zum Färben und Bedrucken von Gebilden aus synthetischen Materialien, wie beispielsweise Polyolefinen,
Polyvinylverbindungen, Cellulose-2 l/2-acetat, Cellulosetriacetat
und insbesondere Polyestermaterialien, z. B. Pdyäthylenglykolterephthalat
oder analogen Polymeren. Sie liefern hierauf nach den üblichen Färbe- und Druckverfahren farbstarke
gelbe Färbungen und Drucke mit sehr guten Echtheitseigenschaften. Beispielsweise ergeben die bevorzugten Farbstoffe der vorliegenden
Erfindung auf dem genannten Faserarten hoch-sublimierechte
Färbungen mit einer interssanten grünstichig gelben
Nuance.

Zu 99 Teilen Cyanessigsäuremethylester werden bei 1O-25°O
62,2 Teile Ithanolamin getropft. Man rührt ca. 2 Stunden bei Raumtemperatur nach, gibt 130 Teile Acetessigsäureäthylester
zu, tropft dann weitere 62,2 Teile Ä'thanolamin in ca. 30
Minuten zu, erhitzt 4-5 Stunden zum Sieden (7O-75°C) und
destilliert dann die gebildeten Alkohole bis zu einer Sumpftemperatur von max. 1200C ab. Der dunkelbraune, ölige Rückstand
wird mit Wasser verdünnt und mit ECl auf pH = 7 gestellt.

Zu 99 Teilen Cyanessigsäuremethylester werden bei 10-250C
62,2 Teile Ethanolamin getropft. Man rührt 1 Stunde bei Baumtemperatur
nach, zieht dann im Wasserstrahlvakuum das Reaktionsmethanol bei max. 800C Sumpftemperatur ab und trofpt bei ca.
800C 110 Teile n-Butylisocyanat schnell zu: Anfangs liegen
2 Phasen vor, die durch 2-stündiges Rühren bei 105-1100C in
ein homogenes Produkt übergehen.
Bel 80-900C werden dann 130 Teile Aoetessigsäureäthylester
schnell und 62,2 Teile Ethanolamin langsam zugesetzt.
Man rührt 5 Stunden bei ca. 1000C und trägt dann auf ca. 1000
Teile Eiswasser/300 Teile cone HCl aus: Das anfangs ölige
Produkt kristallisiert bald durch, wird abgenutsoht, mit Walser gewaschen und - wenn nötig - getrocknetι es enthält laut BC
nur Spuren von Verunreinigungen.
Ausbeute: ca. 220 Teile (75 fi d.Th.)
Fp, 1360C, nach Umkristallisieren aus H2O 143°C.
15,1 Teile p-Aminobenzoesäuremethylester werden in 60 Teilen
Wasser und 30 Teilen cone. HCl gelöst und nach Zugabe von
Teilen Eis bei 0-30C durch Zutropfen eines Äquivalents 30 $iger
NaNOg -Lösung diazotiert. Anschließend setzt man etwas Amidosulfonsäure
zu und klärt wenn nötig unter Zusatz von 10 Teilen Kieselgur.

19,4 Teile N-(ß-Hydroxyäthyl)-3-cyan-4-methyl-6-hydroxypyridon-(2)
werden in ca. 200 Teilen Wasser unter Zusatz von 40 $iger NaOH bei pH 7-8 gelöst. Durch Einwerfen von ca. 200 Teilen Eis
kühlt man auf 3-80C ab und läßt zu dieser Lösung die obige
Diazotierung fließen. Dabei hält man durch gleichzeitiges Zutropfen
von 40#iger NaOH den pH-Wert bei pH 5t rührt dann ca. 1 Stunde nach und erhält nach Filtration, Waschen mit
Wasser und Trocknung ca. 34 Teile (95 # d.Th.) des grünstichiggelben
Farbstoffe.
Dieser wird in ca. 300 Teilen Chlorbenzol mit 10 Teilen n-Butylisocyanat
4-5 Stunden am Rückfluß gekochtf laut DC ist dann die umsetzung beendet. Nach Abkühlen auf Raumtemperatur,
Filtration, Waschen mit Methanol und Trocknen erhält man ca. 41
Teile (90 ?S Gesamtausbeute) des Farbstoffs der Formel
CH2 -CH8 -0-C-NH-n-C4H9
der zum Beispiel Polyesterfasern in grünstichig-gelber Nuance mit hervorragenden Echtheiten färbt.
16,2 Teile 3,4-Dichloranilin werden nach dem in Beispiel 3 beschriebenen
Verfahren wässrig-salζsauer mit NaNO2-Lösung diazotiert.
Die so erhaltene Lösung läßt man zu einer auf 3-5°C vorgekühlten Suspension von 29,5 Teilen der in Beispiel 2 beschriebenen
Kupplungskomponente in ca. 300 Teilen Wasser zufließen, hält dabei den pH-Wert duroh Zutropfen von 40 $iger
NaOH bei pH 5 und rührt anschließend 3-4 Stunden. Nach Filtration

d. Th.) des Farbstoffs der Formel

der z. B. Polyestermaterialien in grünstichig-gelben Tönen von
hervorragenden Eohtheiten färbt.
19,4 Teile getrocknetes N-(ß-Hydroxyäthyl)-3-eyan-4-iaethyl-6-hydroxypyridon-(2)
und 11 Teile n-Butylisooyanat werden in ca. 200 Teilen Diisopropylketon 5 Stunden zum Sieden erhitzt.
Anschließend destilliert man das Lösungsmittel ab,nimmt den Rückstand
in ca. 300 Teilen Wasser auf, setzt 200 Teile Eis zu und läßt eine Lösung von diazotierten* o-Nitroanilin zulaufen, die
nach dem in Beispiel 3 beschriebenen Verfahren aus 13,8 Teilen o-Nitroanilin hergestellt wurde. Dabei hält man durch Zutropfen
von 40 $iger NaOH pH 4*5-5,5 ein. Nach der Kupplung rührt man
weitere 4 Stunden, filtriert, wäscht mit Wasser und trocknet den so erhaltenen Farbstoff der Formel (oa. 40 g, 94 $>
&°Th.
Er färbt z. B. Polyestermaterialien in gxünstiohig-gelb@n Tönen
von hervorragender Eohtheit,

- Patentansprüche ·l) Azodispersionsfarbstoffe, die in einer ihrer tautomeren Formen der Formel (I) entsprechen,X Β(CHR1 J1n-O-C-ME2 -EworinR, R1 und R2 unabhängig voneinander Wasserstoff oder C1-C4-Alkyl,E A oder B,A ggf. substituiertes C1-C8-Alkyl, C3-C5-Alkenyloder Cycloalkyl oder carbocyclisches Aralkyl,B ggf. substituiertes Aryl,m die Zahlen 2-4»Y und Z unabhängig voneinander R, Cl, Br oder 0-E bedeuten undX R, Cl, Br, CHO, CO-E, COO-A, CONR-E, SO2-E,SO2O-B, SO2NR-E, CN, NO2, CF3 oder Y-C6H4-N=N-bedeuten, mit der Maßgabe, daß Y und Z für H, Cl, Br oder 0-E stehen, wenn X 4-Nitro bedeutet,2) Azodispersionsfarbstoffe gemäß Anspruch 1) der Formel (ll),Z'
