Description
Tr!organozinnverbindungen von Hydroxydiazeniumoxiden
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft neue Triorganozinnverbindungen
von Hydroxydiazeniumoxiden sowie Fungicide, die diese Verbindungen als Wirkstoffe enthalten.
Es ist bekannt (DT-PS 1 024 743, DT-OS 2 336 29O,
DT-OS 2 341 882), Salze des N-Nitroso-N-cyclohexyl-hydroxylamins
(NCH) zum Schutz von Holz gegen den Angriff holzzerstörender Pilze, wie Coniophora cerebella, Merulius lacrimans,
Lentinus lepideus, zu verwenden. Von den in Wasser praktisch unlöslichen Verbindungen hat sich insbesondere das Aluminiumsalz
des NCH bewährt. Nachteilig ist jedoch, daß zum Schutz des Holzes relativ hohe Anwendungskonzentrationen erforderlich
sind. Aber selbst bei hohen Anwendungskonzentrationen kann der als Laubholzzerstörer bekannte Pilz Polystictus versicolor nur
unzureichend bekämpft werden. Ferner ist es nachteilig, daß die obengenannten NCH-Salze gegen holzbesiedelnde Bakterien
einen nur relativ geringen Schutz bieten.
Es ist weiterhin bekannt, daß sich mit Trialkylzinnverbindungen, insbesondere mit dem Bis(tri-n-butylzinn)oxid, eine Vielzahl
von Pilzen bekämpfen lassen (Data Sheet No. 226, November I96I,
Metal & Thermit Corp., New York).
Es wurde nun gefunden, daß die Triorganozinnverbindungen von
Hydroxydiazeniumoxiden der Formel

in der R einen Alkylrest mit 1 bis 12 Kohlenstoffatomen, wobei
die einzelnen Reste R gleich oder verschieden sind, oder einen Phenylrest und Y einen Alkylrest oder Cycloalkylrest bedeutet,

ausgezeichnete Fungicide sind, die eine bessere Wirkung als die bekannten Trialkylzinnverbindungen oder NCH-Salze haben»
Hochwirksame Substituente R sind vorzugsweise Alkylreste mit 2 bis 8 Kohlenstoffatomen, beispielsweise der Propyl-, Butyl-
und Oktylrest. Als Substituent Y eignet sich in besonderem Maße der Cyclohexylrest. Die neuen Verbindungen sind in organischen
Lösungsmitteln, beispielsweise Aceton, Benzol, Xylol, Dieselöl, Kerosin und Paraffinöl löslich und können in dieser
Lösung gegebenenfalls zusammen mit Netzmitteln angewendet werden-
Folgende holzzerstörende und hoIzverfärbende Pilze sowie Moderfäuleund
Schimmelpilze lassen sich mit den neuen Wirkstoffen bekämpfen: Merulius lacrimans, Coniophora cerebella, Polystictus
versicolor, Lentinus lepideus, Poria vaporaria, Lenzites trabea, Paxillus panoides, Fomes annosus, Stereum hirsutumj
Pullularia pullulans, Aspergillus niger, Trichoderma viride,
Cladosporium herbarum, Sclerophoma pityophila, Ghaetomxum
globosum, Älternaria spec, Phoma violacea.
Die Wirkstoffe können als mikrozid wirksame Bestandteile öliger Holzschutzmittel verwendet werden. Die Anwendung erfolgt in
der Weise, daß man das Holz mit ihnen behandelt, beispielsweise tränkt oder anstreicht. Ein öliges Holzschutzmittel, das in
Mengen von 50 bis 200 ml/m Holzoberfläche aufgetragen wirds
kann 0,2 bis 5 Gewichtsprozent der neuen Wirkstoffe enthalten.
Zur Erzielung besonderer Effekte können den öligen Holzschutzmitteln
weitere insektizid und/oder fungizid wirksame Substanzen zugesetzt werden. Es sind beispielsweise zu nennen:
γ-Hexachlorcyclohexan (Lindan) 6,7,8,9,10,10-Hexachloro-1*5*5&S6,9,9a-hexahydro-6,9-methano-2,4,3-benzodioxathiepin-3-oxid
(Endosulfan), 1-Naphthyl-N-methylcarbamat (Carbaryl),
Pentachlorphenol, Kupfernaphthenat, chlorierte Naphthaline, Borverbindungen, N-Fluordichlormethylthiophthalimid, N,N-Dimethyl-N'-phenyl-(N'-fluordichlormethylthio)-sulfamid
und N-Phenyl-Ν,Ν1-dimethyl-(N'-fluordichlormethylthio)-sulfamid.
Bei einigen Mischungen der erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen mit

den genannten Insektiziden und Fungiziden ist ein Synergismus (Wirkungssteigerung) zu beobachten.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Substanzen eignen sich nicht nur zum Einsatz auf dem Gebiet des Holzschutzes, sondern lassen sich
auch als Konservierungsmittel von technischen Produkten, wie Dispersionsfarben, Leder, Klebstoffe und Papier verwenden.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Substanzen lassen sich herstellen, indem man ein Triorganozinnhalogenid der Formel
R-5SnX
in der R die oben angegebenen Bedeutungen hat und X ein Halogenatom
bedeutet, mit einem Natrium- oder Kaliumsalz des N'-Hydroxy-diazenium-oxids der Formel
K(Na) -0-N=N-Y
wobei Y die oben angegebenen Bedeutungen hat, gemäß folgendem Schema umsetzt:
K-O-N = N-Y — R5Sn -0-N = N-Y

Die Umsetzung kann mit oder ohne Lösungsmittel durchgeführt werden. Als Lösungsmittel kommen Dimethylformamid, Dimethylsulfoxid,
Diäthyläther, Dioxan, Tetrahydrofuran und aromatische, gegebenenfalls chlorierte Kohlenwasserstoffe, wie Benzol,
Toluol, Xylol und Chlorbenzol in Frage. Die Reaktionstemperatur kann in einem größeren Bereich variiert werden, im allgemeinen
arbeitet man bei Raum- oder leicht erhöhter Temperatur (20 bis 350C).

Es kann selbstverständlich auch das freie N'-Hydroxy-diazeniumöXid
mit dem Triorganozinnhalogenid zur Umsetzung gebracht werden. In diesem Falle arbeitet man jedoch vorteilhaft in
Gegenwart eines Säurebindemittels, wie Natriumcarbonat, Pyridin
oder Triäthanolamin.
Bei der Umsetzung setzt man im allgemeinen 1 Mol Triorganozinnhalogenid
mit einem Mol Alkalisalz des N'-Hydroxy-diazeniumoxide: umY Das folgende Beispiel erläutert die Herstellung der
beanspruchten Wirkstoffe:
Zu einer.Lösung von 326 g Tributylzinnchlorid in 500 ml Dimethyl
sulf oxid setzt man portionsweise 182 g Kaliumsalz des
N'-Hydroxy-N-cyelohexyl-diazeniumoxids und rührt 20 Stunden
bei Raumtemperatur (200C). Man versetzt die Mischung anschließend
mit Wasser, extrahiert mit Diathyläther, wäscht die A'therphase mit Wasser und trocknet sie mit wasserfreiem
Natriumsulfat. Nach dem Einengen verbleiben 375 S eines öligen
Rückstandes, der sich bei 150 bis l60°C/0,l bis 0,2 mm destillieren
läßt. Das Endprodukt hat die folgende Strukturformel:

berechnet: C 53,2J H 8,9; N 8,9; Sn 18,9
gefunden: C 53,5; H 8,7; N 8,6; Sn 19,0
Entsprechend wurden hergestellt:
Zähes, nicht destillierbares.öl, das bei Raumtemperatur langsam
kristallisiert. . ^.

Das als Ausgangsprodukt verwendete Kaliumsalz des N1-Hydroxy-N-cyclohexyl-diazeniumoxids
wird wie folgt hergestellt. In einem 4-1-Rührkolben, der mit einer seitlich eingetauchten,
wassergefüllten Quecksilberdampflampe (Philips HPK 125 W), einem Kühler, Rührwerk, Thermometer und einer Begasungsfritte
versehen ist, wird ein Gemisch von 3 1 Cyclohexan und 0,5 1 konzentrierter wäßriger Salzsäure 2 Stunden lang bei 10 C belichtet
und gleichzeitig Stickstoffmonoxid mit einer Geschwindigkeit von stündlich 10 1 eingeleitet. Nach Abschalten der
Lampe wird die wäßrige Phase abgetrennt. Die organische Phase wird durch Begasen mit Stickstoff von gelöstem Stickstoffmonoxid
befreit und mit 200 ml 20-gewichtsprozentiger wäßriger Kalilauge verrührt. Dabei scheidet sich das Kaliumsalz des
N1-Hydroxy-N-cyclohexyl-diazeniumoxids ab. Das Produkt ist
sehr rein.
Die fungizide Wirksamkeit der neuen Verbindungen wurde in Anlehnung
an die von D.J. Dickinson im International Biodeterioration Bulletin JLO, 1974, Seiten 49 - 51, veröffentlichte

Methode "A new technique for screening fungicide for wood
preservation" ermittelt:

Filterpapierscheiben mit einem Durchmesser von 9 cm wurden mit
acetonischen Wirkstofflösungen, die 0,006 % abgestuft bis
0,2 % (Gew.^) Wirkstoff enthielten, getränkt. Nach dem Abdunsten des Lösungsmittels wurden die Papierscheiben in Glasschalen gelegt, mit 1 ml Nährlösung angefeuchtet und anschließend mit dem holzzerstörenden Pilz Polystictus versicolor beimpft. Die Beimpfung erfolgte hierbei zentral mit pilzbewachsenen Filterpapierscheiben (Durchmesser 18 mm). Die Glasschalen wurden, um ein Austrocknen der feuchten Filterpapiere zu verhindern, mit einem Deckel geschlossen und bei 22°C über einen Zeitraum von Ik Tagen bebrütet. Nach dieser Zeit wurde
das Ausmaß des Pilzwachstums beurteilt und der Durchmesser
der Pilzkolonien ermittelt. Diejenige Wirkstoffkonzentration, bei welcher kein Wachstum mehr erfolgt, wird als toxische Konzentration für den Prüfpilz angegeben.
0,2 % (Gew.^) Wirkstoff enthielten, getränkt. 1. /Triorgänozinnverbindungen von Hydroxydiazeniumoxiden der
Formel ;
- Sn - 0 - N = N - Y
in der R einen Alkylrest mit 1 bis 12 Kohlenstoffatomen,
wobei die einzelnen Reste gleich oder verschieden sind,
oder einen Phenylrest und Y einen Alkylrest oder Cyßloalkylrest
bedeutet.
2. Fungizide Mittel, enthaltend eine Triorganozinnverbindung
