Entfernung von X durch ein Aktivierungsmittel ausgelöst wird,
so daß sich die instabile 1,2-Dioxetanverbindung zur Bildung
von Licht und zweier carbonylhaltiger Verbindungen der Formel
ArO
zersetzt,
worin X eine chemisch labile Gruppe ist, die durch das Aktivierungsmittel zur Bildung der instabilen 0xid-l,2-dioxetan-Zwischenverbindung
entfernt wird und worin A passive organische Gruppen sind, die die
Lichtproduktion ermöglichen.
2. Stabile 1,2-Dioxetanverbindung der Formel

spirokondensierten Alkylen- und Arylringen verbinden können,
worin wenigstens einer der Substituenten Ri und R2 oder R3

eine X-Oxygruppe, die eine instabile Oxid-1,2-dioxetan-Zwischenverbindung
bildet, wenn eine Reaktion zur Entfernung von X durch ein Aktivierungsmittel, gewählt aus Säuren,
Basen, Salzen, Enzymen, anorganischen und organischen Katalysatoren und Elektronendonoren, ausgelöst wird, so daß
sich die instabile 1,2-Dioxetanverbindung zur Bildung von
Licht und zweier carbonylhaltiger Verbindungen der Formel

zersetzt,
worir. diejenigen der Substituenten Ri , R2 , Rj oder R^ , die
durch eine X-Oxygruppe unsubstituiert sind, kohlenstoffhaltige organische Gruppen sind, die der stabilen
1,2-Dioxetanverbindung Stabilität verleihen, und worin X eine chemisch labile Gruppe ist, die durch das
Aktivierungsmittel zur Bildung der instabilen Oxid-Zwischenverbindung entfernt wird.
3. Stabile Dioxetanverbindung der Formel

worin Ri aus Alkyl-, Alkoxy-, Aryloxy-, Dialkyl- oder
Arylamino-, Trialkyl- oder Arylsilyloxy- und Arylgruppen, einschließlich spirokondensierter Arylgruppen mit R2?gewählt
wird, worin R2 eine Arylgruppe ist, die Ri einschließen kann und durch eine X-Oxygruppe substituiert ist, die eine
instabile Oxid-1,2-dioxetan-Zwischenverbindung bildet, wenn
sie durch ein Aktivierungsmittel zur Entfernung von X, gewählt aus Säuren, Basen, Salzen, Enzymen, anorganischen und
organischen Katalysatoren und Elektronendonoren, aktiviert wird, so daß sich die instabile 1,2-Dioxetanverbindung zur

die sich miteinander zu spirokondensierten polycyclischen Alkyl- und polycyclischen Arylgruppen verbinden können.
4. Stabile 1,2-Dioxezanverbindung der Formel

Kohlenstoffatome, gewählt wird, R2 aus Aryl-, Biaryl- und
kondensierten polycyclischen Arylgruppen, die substituiert oder unsubstituiert sein können, gewählt wird und ReC-aus
polycyclischen Alkylgruppen, enthaltend 6 bis 30 Kohlenstoffatome, gewählt wird,
worin OX eine Oxygruppe ist, substituiert an einem Arylring, die eine instabile Oxid-1,2-dioxetan-Zwischenverbindung
bildet, wenn eine Reaktion zur Entfernung von X durch ein Aktivierungsmittel, gewählt aus einer Säure, Base, einem
Salz, Enzym und anorganischen und organischen Katalysatoren und Elektronendonorquellen, ausgelöst wird, und X eine
chemisch labile Gruppe ist, die durch das Aktivierungsmittel zur Bildung der instabilen Oxid-Zwischenverbindung entfernt
wird, und

5. Verbindung nach Anspruch 4, worin die OX-Gruppe aus Hydroxyl, Triaikyl- oder Arylsiiyloxy, anorganischem
Oxysäuresalz, Phosphatsalz, Sulfatsalz, Sauerstoffpyranosid,
Aryl- und Alkylcarboxylestern gewählt wird.
6. Verbindung nach Anspruch 5, worin R3C- eine
spirokondensierte Adamantylgruppe ist.
7. Verbindung nach Anspruch 5, worin R2 aus Naphthyl- und
Phenylgruppen gewählt wird.
8. Verbindung nach Anspruch 5, worin Ri eine Methylgruppe
ist.
9. Verbindung nach Anspruch 4, worin Ri eine Methylgruppe
ist, R2 eine Naphthylgruppe ist und R3C-eine Adamantylgruppe
ist und worin OX aus Hydroxyl, Triaikyl- oder Arylsiiyloxy, einem anorganischen Oxysäuresalz, Phosphatsalz, Sulfatsalz,
Sauerstoffpyranosid, Aryl- und Alkylcarboxylestern gewählt wird.
10. Stabile 1,2-Dioxetanverbindung der Formel

Entfernung von X, gewählt aus Säuren, Basen, Salzen, Enzymen, anorganischen und organischen Katalysatoren und
Elektronendonoren, ausgelöst wird,
worin X eine chemisch labile Gruppe ist, die durch das Aktivierungsmittel zur Bildung der instabilen Oxid-1,2-dioxetan-Zwischenverbindung
entfernt wird, so daß sich die instabile 1,2-Dioxetanverbindung zur Bildung von Licht und
zweier carbonylhaltiger Derivate der Formel
zersetzt, und
worin R3C- aus polycyclischen Alkyigruppen, enthaltend 6 bis
30 Kohlenstoffatome, gewählt wird.
11. Verbindung nach Anspruch 10, worin R3C-eine
Adamantylgruppe ist.
12. Verbindung nach Anspruch 10, worin ArOX eine Fluorenylgruppe, kondensiert an die 1,2-Dioxetanverbindung
bei C9, ist.
13. Verbindung nach Anspruch 10, worin ArOX eine Xanthenylgruppe, kondensiert an die 1,2-Dioxetanverbindung
bei C9, ist.
14. Verbindung nach Anspruch 10, worin R3C- eine
Adamantylgruppe ist und ArOX aus einer Xanthan- und Fluorenylgruppe, kondensiert an die 1,2-Dioxetanverbindung
bei C9, gewähl-, wird.
15. Verbindung nach Anspruch 10, worm R3 C-eine
Adamantylgruppe ist und worin ArOX eine Hydroxylfluorenylgruppe, kondensiert an die 1,2-Dioxetanverbindung
bei C9, ist.
16. Verbindung nach Anspruch 15, worin die
Hydroxylfluorenylgruppe eine 2-Hydroxylfluorenylgruppe ist.

Adamantylgruppe ist und worin ArOX eine Hydroxylxanthenylgruppe, kondensiert an die 1,2-Dioxetanverbindung bei C9, ist.

.Hydroxylxanthenylgruppe eine 3-Hydroxylxanth^r.ylgruppe ist
19. Verbindung nach Anspruch 10, worin ArOX aus einer Xanthanyl- und Fluorenylgruppe gewählt wird und worin OX aus
Hydroxyl, Trialkyl- oder Arylsilyloxy, anorganischem
Oxysäuresalz, Phosphatsalz, Sulfatsalz, Sauerstoffpyranosid,
Aryl- und Alkylcarboxylestern gewählt wird.
20. Verbindung nach Anspruch 19, worin OX aus Phosphat und Sulfat gewählt wird.
21. Verbindung nach Anspruch 19, worin OX eine Silyloxygruppe ist.
22. Verbindung nach Anspruch 19, worin OX ein Alkylcarbonylester ist.
23. Verbindung nach Anspruch 19, worin OX Sauerstoffpyranosid ist.
24. Verfahren zur Erzeugung von Licht, bei dem (a) ein stabiles 1,2-Dioxetan der Formel
O 2 S 4 O b 1
zur Verfugung gestellt wird,
worin ArOX eine Arylgruppe mit einem Arylring, substituiert
durch eine X-Oxygruppe ist, die eine instabile Oxid-1,2-dioxetan-Zwischenverbindung
bildet, wenn eine Reaktion zur Entfernung von X durch ein Aktivierungsmittel ausgelöst wird,
so daß sich die instabile 1,2-Dioxetanverbindung zur Bildung
von Licht und zweier carbonylhaltiger Verbindungen der Formel
und
worin X eine chemisch labile Gruppe ist, die durch das Aktivierungsmittel zur Bildung der instabilen Oxid-1,2-dioxetan-Zwischenverbindung
entfernt wird und worin A passive organische Gruppen, die die Lichtproduktion ermöglichen, sind, und
(b) das stabile 1,2-Dioxetan mit dem Aktivierungsmittel
zersetzt wird.
25. Verfahren zur Erzeugung von Licht, bei dem (a) eine stabile 1,2-Dioxetanverbindung der Formel

zur Verfügung gestellt wird,
worin Ri und R2 zusammen und R3 und R4 zusammen
spirokondensierte Alkylen- und Arylringe bilden können, wcrin wenigstens einer der Substituenten Ri und R; oder Rs

durch eine X-Oxygruppe, die eine instabile Oxid-1,2-dioxetan-

Zwischenverbindung bildet, wenn eine Reaktion zur Entfernung von X durch ein Aktivierungsmittel, gewählt aus Säuren,
Basen, Salzen, Enzymen, anorganischen und organischen Kacalysatoren und Elektronendonoren, ausgelöst wird,, so daß
sich die instabile 1,2-Dicxetanverbindung zur Bildung von
Licht und zweier carbonylhaltiger Verbindungen der Formel

zersetzt,
worin diejenigen der Substituenten Ri, R2, R3 oder R4 , die
durch eine X-Oxygruppe unsubstituiert sind, kohlenstoffhaltige organische Gruppen sind, die der stabilen
1,2-Dioxetanverbindung Stabilität verleihen, und ■worin X eine chemisch labile Gruppe ist. die durch das
Aktivierungsmittel zur Bildung der instabilen Oxid-Zwischenverbindung entfernt wird, und
(b) das stabile 1,2-Dioxetan mit dem Aktivierungsmittel
zersetzt wird.
26. Verfahren zur Erzeugung von Licht, bei dem
(a) eine stabile Dioxetanverbindung der Formel

zur Verfügung gestellt wird,
worin Ri aus Alkyl-, Alkoxy-, Aryloxy-Dialkylamino-,
Trialkyl- oder Arylsilyloxy- und Arylgruppen, einschließlich
spirokondensierter Arylgruppen mit R2, gewählt wird,
worin R2 eine Arylgruppe ist, die Ri einschließen kann und durch eine X-Oxygruppe substituiert ist, die eine instabile
Oxid-1,2-dioxetan-Zwischenverbindung bildet, wenn sie durch
ein Aktivierungsmittel zur Entfernung von X, gewählt aus Säuren, Basen, Salzen, Enzymen, anorganischen und organischen

Katalysatoren und Elektronendonoren, aktiviert wird, so daß sich die instabile 1,2-Dioxetanverbindung zur Bildung von
Licht und zweier carbonylhaltiger Verbindungen der Formel

worin X eine chemisch labile Gruppe ist, die durch das Aktivierungsmittel zur Bildung der instabilen Oxid-Zwischenverbindung
entfernt wird, und worin R3 und R<i aus Aryl- und Alkylgruppen gewählt werden,
die sich miteinander zu spirokondensierten polycyclischen Alkyl- und polycyclischen Ärylgruppen verbinden können, und
(b) das stabile 1,2-Dioxetan mit dem Aktivierungsmittel
zersetzt wird.
27. Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Verbindung der Formel
worin ArOX eine Arylgruppe mit einem Arylring, substituiert durch eine X-Oxygruppe ist, die eine instabile Oxid-1,2-dioxetan-Zwischenverbindung
bildet, wenn eine Reaktion zur Entfernung von X durch ein Aktivierungsmittel ausgelöst wird,
so daß sich die instabile 1,2-Dioxetanverbindung zur Bildung
von Licht und zweier carbonylhaltiger Verbindungen der Formel
-C=O AfO"
zersetzt,
worin X eine chemisch labile Gruppe ist, die durch das Aktivierungsmittel zur Bildung der instabilen Oxid-1,2-dioxetan-Zwischenverbindung
entfernt wird, und worin A passive organische Gruppen, die die Lichtprcduktion
ermöglichen, sind, bei dem
(a) eine carbonylhaltige Verbindung der Formel
mit einer Verbindung der Formel
Ar silyloxy
worin Ar silyloxy eine arylringsubstituierte Silyloxygruppe ist,
in einem polaren organischen Lösungsmittel in Gegenwart eines Metallhydrids, eines Obergangsinetallsalzes und einer
tertiären Aminbase umgesetzt wird und
(b) das stabile 1,2-Dioxetan, worin OX eine Silyloxygruppe
ist, abgetrennt wird.
28. Verfahren nach Anspruch 27, worin das Lösungsmittel Tetrahydrofuran und das Metallhydrid Lithiumaluminiumhydrid
ist.
29. Verfahren nach Anspruch 28, worin das Übergangsmetallsalz Titanchlorid und die Base Triethylamin
ist.
30. Verfahren nach Anspruch 27, das bei der
Rückflußtemperatur von Tetrahydrofuran durchgeführt wird.
31. Verfahren nach Anspruch 27, worin zusätzlich das Silyl
in der Silyloxygruppe durch einen anderen Substituenten ersetzt ist.
32. Verfahren nach Anspruch 31, worin der Substituent mit
Oxy Hydroxyl, Alkyl- oder Arylcarbonyl, Alkyl, Aryl oder eine anorganische Oxygruppe, abgeleitet von einer Oxysäure, ist.
