betreffend:
"Derivate von 2-Gyclohexen-1-on, Verfahren zu ihrer
Herstellung und ihre Verwendung als Herbizide"
Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf Derivate von 2-Cyclohexen-1-on
als neuartige Verbindungen, auf ein Verfahren zu ihrer Herstellung und auf ihre Verwendung als
selektive Herbizide.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen entsprechen der allgemeinen Formel:

Aufgrund ihrer besonders' guten Herbizidwirkung und ihrer Ausgiebigkeit sind Verbindungen bevorzugt,
die der folgenden allgemeinen Formel entsprechen:

Verfahren hergestellt werden.

Im Hinblick auf die obige Formel (III) ist zu erwarten,
daß die erwähnte Verbindung aufgrund ihrer tautomeren Eigenschaften den folgenden drei Strukturformeln entspricht:

Bei der praktischen Durchführung des Verfahrens, behandelt
man zuerst die Ausgangsverbindung (III) mit Natriumoder
Kaiiumhydroxid in wäßriger Lösung oder in einem
organischen Lösungsmittel, um das Alkalisalz herzustellen.
Das Alkalisalz wird dann entweder gleich im Reaktionsgemisch oder nach Abtrennen in einem inerten Lösungsmittel
umgesetzt mit der Verbindung der allgemeinen .Formeln
(IV), (V) oder (VI). Als inertes Lösungsmittel eignen sich Aceton, Äther, Alkohol, Benzol, Toluol, Chloroform,
Essigester oder dergleichen.
Die Reaktionstemperatur ist nicht ausschlaggebend und reicht von -200C bis zum Siedepunkt des Lösungsmittels;
vorzugsweise arbeitet man jedoch unterhalb von Raumtemperatur und die Reaktionszeit beträgt 15 Minuten bis
5 Stunden.
Nach Beendigung der Reaktion wird das Lösungsmittel
gegebenenfalls durch ein anderes ersetzt, worauf das Reaktionsgemisch mit Alkalilösung und Wasser gewaschen
und getrocknet wird. Nach Abdestillieren des Lösungsmittels unter vermindertem Druck erhält man dann das Rohprodukt
als Kristalle oder Flüssigkeit, das durch. Um-

kristallisieren bzw. auf chromatographischem Weg
gereinigt werden kann.
Die erhaltene Verbindung wird identifiziert durch Elementaranalyse bzw. durch Ermittlung ihrer Strukturformel
mit Hilfe des NMR- oder des IR-Spektrums
oder auf anderem Wege.
Die Beispiele dienen zur näheren Erläuterung der Erfindung. .
Beispiel 1_ ;
3-Benzoyloxy-2-(N-äthoxypropionimidoyl)-5,5-dimethyl-2-cyclohexen-1-on
2,4 g 2-/~1-(N-lthoxyamino)propyliden_7-555-dimethylcyclohexan-1,3-dion
wurden in 20 ml Aceton gelöst, worauf 2 ml einer wäßrigen Lösung von 0,4g Natriumhydroxid
bei Raumtemperatur unter Rühren zugefügt wurden. Nach Abkühlen der resultierenden Lösung
wurden bei -5 bis O0C tropfenweise 1,4 g Benzoylchlorid
zugefügt und insgesamt 35 Minuten weiter gerührt. Nach Beendigung der Reaktion wurde das Aceton
unter vermindertem Druck abdestilliert und der Rückstand in 20 ml Chloroform gelöst.
Die Chloroformlösung wurde dann mit 10 ml 2%iger Natronlauge
und anschließend mit 10 ml Wasser ausgewaschen und über Magnesiumsulfat getrocknet. Nach Filtrieren
und Abdestillieren des Chloroforms unter vermindertem
Druck erhielt man 3-Benzoyloxy-2-(N-äthoxypropionimidoyl)-5,5-dimethyl-2-cyclohexen-1-on
als farblose Flüssigkeit.

Ausbeute: 3,3 g (96 %)

3-(4-Chlorbenzoyloxy)-2-(N-äthoxypropionimidoyl)-5,5-dimethyl-2-cyclohexen-1-on
Das Beispiel 1 wurde wiederholt unter Verwendung von 2,4 g 2-/~1-(N-lthoxyamino)propyliden_7-5,5-dimethylcyclohexan-1,3-dion
und 1,75 g 4-Chlorbenzoylchlorid; nach Abdestillieren des Chloroforms und Umkristallisieren
des Produktes aus η-Hexan erhielt man die obige Verbindung als weiße Kristalle.

wurden gelöst in 40 ml Aceton, -worauf "bei Raumtemperatur unter Rühren 4 ml einer wäßrigen
Lösung von 0,8 g Natriumhydroxid zugefügt wurde. Nach Abdestillieren des Acetons unter vermindertem Druck
erhielt man das Natriumsalz von 2-/f"1-(N-Allyloxyamino)-butyliden_7-5?5-dimethylcyclohexan-1,3-dion-Zu
diesem Salz wurden 40 ml trockenes Aceton und dann tropfenweise 1,8g Propionylchlorid bei einer Temperatur von -5 bis
O0C zugegeben. Nachdem die resultierende Lösung 30 Minuten
gerührt worden war, wurde das Aceton unter vermindertem Druck abdestilliert und der Rückstand in 40 ml Äther
gelöst. Die Ätherlösung wurde mit 20 ml 2%iger Natronlauge und 20 ml Wasser gewaschen und mit Magnesiumsulfat
getrocknet und filtriert. Nach Abdestillieren des Äthers unter vermindertem Druck blieb die obige Verbindung
zurück.
Ausbeute: 5,2 g (80 %)

Lösung von 0,2 g Natriumhydroxid und daraufhin 0,5 g MethansulfonylcHlorid zugegeben. Nach einstündigem
Rühren wurde das Reaktionsgemisch auf Eiswasser ausgegossen und mit Chloroform extrahiert. Der Extrakt
wurde mit normaler Natronlauge gewaschen und über Magnesiumsulfat getrocknet, worauf das Lösungsmittel
im Vakuum abgetrieben wurde. Man erhielt eine ölige Substanz, die nach Umkristallisieren aus n-Hexan
bei 73 bis 75°C schmolz.

2- (N-Allyloxybutyrimidoyl)-5, 5-dimethyl-3-methoxy-2-cyclohexen-1-on
25 g Silbersalz von 2-(i-AllyloxycUninobutyliden)-5)5-dimethylcyclohexan-1,3-dion
wurden in 100 ml Äther suspendiert, worauf 34- g Methyljodid zugegeben wurden.
Das Gemisch wurde 6 Stunden unter Rückfluß gerührt. Nach Abfiltrieren des Silberjodides wurde das Lösungsmittel
im Vakuum abgetrieben und der Rest in Wasser ausgegossen. Das so abgetrennte Öl wurde mit Chloroform
extrahiert und der Extrakt mit normaler Natronlauge gewaschen und über Magnesiumsulfat getrocknet. Nach
Abtreiben des Chloroforms erhielt man das gesuchte Produkt als ölige Substanz.

lOstündigem Rühren bei 60° wurde das Reaktionsgemisch in Eis-Wasser ausgegossen und mit Chloroform extrahiert.
Der Extrakt wurde mit normaler Natronlauge gewaschen und über Magnesiumsulfat getrocknet. Nach Abtreiben
des Lösungsmittels im Vakuum erhielt man ein Öl, das sich beim Stehen bei O0G verfestigte. Das gesuchte
Produkt wurde nach Umkristallisieren aus Methanol und Wasser erhalten und hatte einen Pp. von 60,5 bis 61,5°C.

Wie bereits erwähnt, haben die erfindungsgemäßen.Verbindungen
hervorragende Herbxzxdeigenschaften. Die im folgenden beschriebenen Versuche dienen zum Nachweis dieser Wirksamkeit,
wobei als Vertreter der erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen die Verbindung Nr. 1 aus Tabelle I gewählt wurde.
Aufgrund ihrer Selektivwirkung sind die erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen besonders geeignet zur Bekämpfung von grasartigem
Unkraut, wie einjähriges Eispengras (Poa annua L.), Wasserfuchsschwanz (Alopecurus aequalis Sobol), großes
Pingergras (Digitaria adscendens Henr.), Kolbenhirse (Seturia viridis Beauv), Windhafer (Avena fatua L) usw.,
wogegen sie breitblättrige Pflanzen, wie Bohnen (Phaseolus angularis), Sojabohnen (Glycine max.) und. Zuckerrüben
(Beta vulgaris), die empfindlich gegenüber Phytotoxizität
sind, kaum angreifen. Das bedeutet, daß die erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen ausgesprochen selektive Herbizide
sind.
Es ist bereits bekannt, daß 4—Hydroxy-6-methyl-ot-pyron-Derivate
Herbizideigenschaften haben (s. JA-PS 16 916/1971).
Um jedoch die erwähnten grasartigen Unkräuter wirklich zu zerstören, muß man das letzterwähnte Herbizid in
großer Menge anwenden, was selbstverständlich ein Nachteil ist. Wie in der Patentschrift erwähnt und
durch Nacharbeiten bestätigt, müssen diese bekannten Herbizide in Mengen von etwa 500 g Wirkstoff je 10 Ar
verwendet werden und Mengen von etwa 250 g auf die gleiche
Fläche töten das. Unkraut nicht ab, d.h. ergeben keinen brauchbaren Herbizideffekt.
Im Gegensatz hierzu sind die erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen
bereits in Mengen von 125 g Wirkstoff je 10 Ar voll als

Herbizide wirksam.
Beim Aufbringen nach dem Auflaufen sind die erfindungsgemäßen
Verbindungen in Mengen, die zur Abtötung von gasartigen Unkräutern, wie z.B. Huhnerhirse ausreichen,
völlig unschädlich für Breitblattpflanzen, wie Rettich, Sojabohnen, Gartenerbsen, Spinat, Zuckerrüben oder
Karotten, und bei Anwendung auf den Boden vor dem Auflaufen
sind Mengen, die z.B. die Keimung von Fingergras verhindern," vollkommen unschädlich für Breitblattpflanzen.
Hinsichtlich der Anwendungszeit, der Anwendungsstelle
und der anzuwendenden Konzentrationen besteht bei den
erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen ein besonders großer Spielraum.
Ein weiterer Vorteilist, daß im Boden oder in der Pflanze keine bleibende Toxizität erzeugt wird, ebenso
wenig wie eine akute Toxizität gegenüber warmblütigen
Tieren und Fischen, insbesondere da die erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen auch in relativ sehr geringer Konzentration
angewandt werden.
Die Verbindungen können vor dem Auflaufen auf den Boden oder nach dem Auflaufen auf die Pflanzen selbst aufgebracht
werden oder sie können von vornherein mit der Pflanzerde vermischt werden. Vorzugsweise verwendet
man sie zur Blattbehandlung nach dem Auflaufen und die
Mittel werden so dosiert, daß je 10 Ar 50 bis 1 000 g,
vorzugsweise 50 bis 200 g und insbesondere etwa 100 g
Wirkstoff aufgebracht werden.
DieMittel können flüssig oder fest sein und die üblichen Zusätze, insbesondere Träger für die Wirkstoff(?? enthalten.
Die Anwendung erfolgt als benetzbare Pulver, emulgierbare Konzentrate, Stäubmittel, Granulate, wasser-

lösliche Pulver oder Aerosole. Als feste Träger dienen Bentonit, Diatomeenerde, Apatit, Gips, Talk, Pyrophyllit,
Vermiculit, Ton und andere. Als flüssige Träger können vorhanden sein Kerosin, Mineralöl, Petroleum, Solventnaphtha,
Benzol, Xylol, Cyclohexan, Cyclohexanon, Dimethylformamid, Alkohol, Aceton und dergleichen.
Gegebenenfalls setzt man oberflächenaktive Substanzen zu, um den Ansatz homogen und stabil zu machen.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen können auch im Gemisch
mit anderen in der Landwirtschaft und im Gartenbau verwendeten Chemikalien angewandt werden,soweit diese
damit verträglich sind. Genannt seien z.B'. Nährstoffe für Pflanzen, Düngemittel, Insektizide, Acarizide,
Fungizide, Nematozide und andere Herbizide.
Soweit zusätzliche andere Herbizide in Präge kommen,
empfiehlt es sich, die erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen
im Gemisch mit Harnstoffderivaten, wie 3-(3,4—Dichlorphenyl)-1-methoxy-1-methylharnstoff,
N-(3,4--DiChIOrphenyl)N',N'-dimethylharnstoff,
Triazinderivate")fi7
wie 2-Chlor-4-äthylamino-6-isopropylaminα-s-triazin
oder 2-Chlor-4,6-bis(äthylamino)-s-triazin und Amidde rivate\ywie N-1-Naphthylphthalaminsäure zu verwenden
.
Die Wirkstoffkonzentration richtet sich nach der jeweiligen
Art des Herbizids bzw. der jeweiligen Aufbereitung; so liegt die Konzentration z.B. in benetzbaren Pulvern
bei 5 bis 80, vorzugsweise 10 bis 60 Gew.-%,
bei emulgierbaren Konzentraten bei 5 bis 705 vorzugsweise
2 bis 60 Gew.-% und bei Stäubmitteln beträgt die Wirkstoffkonzentration 0,5 bis 30, vorzugsweise
1 bis 10 Gew.-%. Hierzu ist zu bemerken, daß benetzbare
Pulver oder emulgierbare Konzentrate vor Anwendung mit

Wasser verdünnt werden, während die Stäubmittel unverdünnt auf die Pflanzen aufgebracht werden.
In den folgenden Beispielen sind einige Rezepte für selektive Herbizide angegeben, welche die erfindungsgemäßen
Wirkstoffe enthalten.

Die Bestandteile werden fein zerkleinert und homogen
zu einem benetzbaren Pulver mit 20 % Wirkstoff vermischt. Dieses wird vor Anwendung mit Wasser auf eine
bestimmte Konzentration verdünnt und als 'Suspension
versprüht. .

Die obigen Bestandteile werden auf eine Körnung von 0,5 bis 1,0 mm zerkleinert und homogen vermischt.
Man erhält ein Stäubmittel mit 5 % Wirkstoff, das unmittelbar verwendet wird.
Mit der Verbindung Nr. 1 aus Tabelle I wurden Versuche
zur Unkrautbekämpfung durchgeführt, wobei als Vergleichssubstanz ein bekanntes Herbizid mit Selektivwirkung
gewählt wurde.
Versuch 1
Etwa 60 Samenkörner von Hühnerhirse wurden in einen
ρ Topf mit einer Oberfläche von 60 cm eingepflanzt,
leicht mit Erde bedeckt und angegossen.
Auf die Topferde wurden dann 10 ml einer wäßrigen Emulsion
versprüht, die hergestellt worden war durch Verdünneneines emulgierbaren Konzentrates auf die in der Tabelle
angegebene Konzentration. Die Töpfe wurden danndns Gewächshaus verbracht und dort feucht gehalten. Die
Auswertung erfolgte zwei Wochen nach dem Besprühen und die Resultate wurden gemäß folgender Aufstellung mit 0
bis 5 bewertet.

Versuch 2
Behandlung nach, dem Auflaufen (Blattbehandlung)
ο In einen Topf mit einer Oberfläche von 60 cm wurden etwa 50 Samenkörner von Hühnerhirse eingebracht und
leicht mit Erde bedeckt. Nach dem Auflaufen und Ausbildung des ersten Blattes wurden die Töpfe
bis etwa 3 cm über die Oberfläche der Erde mit Wasser gefüllt.
Auf die Töpfe wurde dann eine wäßrige Emulsion versprüht, die hergestellt worden war durch Verdünnen
eines emulgierbaren Konzentrates des betreffenden Wirkstoffs. Dann wurden die Töpfe in ein Gewächshaus
gebracht und entsprechend feucht gehalten. Die Auswertung erfolgte zwei Wochen nach dem Besprühen
gemäß der in Versuch 1 angegebenen Benotung von 0 bis 5.
Die Resultate gehen aus Tabelle III hervor.

Behandlung; nach Auflaufen (Blattbehandlung
In einen Topf mit 100 cm Oberfläche wurden Samenkörner
von großem Fingergras eingebracht. Nach dem Aufgehen der Pflanzen und der Bildung von 2 bis 4· Blättern wurde
eine wäßrige Emulsion aufgesprüht, die hergestellt worden war durch Verdünnung eines emulgierbaren
Konzentrates mit Wasser auf eine bestimmte Konzentration; die versprühte Menge entsprach 100 Liter je
10 Ar. Dann wurden die Pflanzen 21 Tage im Gewächshaus gehalten, worauf die Auswertung analog Versuch 1
(Benotung von 0 bis 5) erfolgte.
Die Resultate gehen aus Tabelle V hervor.

- PATENTANSPRÜCHEworin die Symbole folgende Bedeutung haben:R^ steht für den Phenylrest oder eine geradkettige oder verzweigte Alkylgruppe;Rp steht für eine geradkettige oder verzweigte niedrige Alkylgruppe, eine geradkettige oder verzweigte niedrigere Alkenylgruppe, eine niedrigere Alkynylgruppe, eine niedrigere Alkoxymethylgruppe, eine niedrigere Alkylthiomethylgruppe oder den Benzylrest;X steht für eine geradkettige oder verzweigte Alkylgruppe, eine niedrigere Alkoxycarbonylgruppe oder einen gegebenenfalls substituierten Phenylrest, der als einen oder mehrere Substituenten Halogenatome, Methyl- oder Methoxygruppen, Styrylgruppen, Furylgruppen, Thienylgruppen oder Gruppen der Formel -(CHp)m- aufweist, worin m eine Zahl von 1 bis 6 bedeutet;η steht für O oder eine Zahl von 1 bis 6, wobei, falls η größer ist als 1, X die gleiche oder eine ver-509845/0984schiedene Bedeutung haben kann;Z steht für E-A- oder für T, wobei R eine niedrigere Alkylgruppe oder ein gegebenenfalls substituierter Phenylrest ist, bei dem der bzw. die Substituenten Halogenatome, Methyl-, Methoxy- oder Nitrogruppen, Benzylreste oder Phenoxymethylreste sind, welchletzfcere gegebenenfalls durch ein oder mehrere Halogenatome substituiert sind; und worin A eine Carbonyl- oder Sulfonylgruppe und T eine niedrigere Alkylgruppe oder der Benzylrest sind.
- 2) Verfahren zur Herstellung der Verbindungen nach Anspruch 1, dadurch ge kennzeich net , daß man eine Verbindung der Formel:O NH-O-R2worin E^, Ep, X und η die obige Bedeutung haben, mit einer Verbindung der Formel:Y-A-R, (ECO)2O oder Ϊ-Τ ,worin E, A und T die obige Bedeutung haben und X ein Halogenatom vertritt, auf an sich bekannte Weise umsetzt.
