Cyclohexenon-Derivate
Die Erfindung betrifft Cyclohexenon-Derivate, ein Verfahren zu deren Herstellung sowie deren Verwendung als
selektive Herbicide«,
Die erfindungsgemäßen Cyclohexenon-Derivate besitzen 5 die allgemeine Formel

in der R1 eine Alkylgruppe mit 1-3 Kohlenstoffatomen,
R2 eine Alkylgruppe mit 1-3 Kohlenstoffatomen, eine
Allyl-, Propargyl- oder Halogenalkylgruppe ist und 10 A ausgewählt ist aus den Gruppen

durch Methyl substituierte Phenylgruppe und Y und Z Sauerstoff- oder Schwefelatome sind sowie Metallsalze
oder quaternäre Ammoniumsalze der angegebenen Verbindungen.
In den US-PS 3 950 420 und 4 011 256 sind einige Cyclohexenon-Derivate
angegeben, die zu einer sehr guten Bekämpfung von grasartigen Unkräutern führen. Die oben
erwähnten Verbindungen führen jedoch auch zu einer starken Schädigung von grasartigen Nutzpflanzen. Es wurden
daher weitere Untersuchungen durchgeführt, um neue Verbindungen
zu finden, die keine Phytotoxizität gegenüber grasartigen Nutzpflanzen (Monokotyledonen) besitzen« Es
hat sich nun gezeigt, daß 2-/*(1 -Ethoxyimino)-propyl/-5-(substituiertes
phenyl)-3-hydroxy-2-cyclohexen-1-on eine ziemlich geringe Wirkung auf Weizen ausüben. /Advances

sind relativ selektiv bei niederen Stufen von Grasun-

kräutern und Weizen bei Behandlung nach dem Aufläufen. Je größer sie wachsen, um so höhere Dosen sind jedoch
erforderlich,, So führt die Verwendung von größeren Mengen
an Wirkstoff zu einer stärkeren herbiciden Wirkung gegenüber grasartigen Unkräutern und gleichzeitig zu
einer schwereren Schädigung des Weizens* Andererseits
ist bei einer Verringerung der Dosis, die zu keiner Phytotoxizität gegenüber Weizen führt, die herbicide
Wirksamkeit weniger stark. So ist die optimale Dosis, um eine gute Selektivität zu erzielen, begrenzt. Um
diese Nachteile zu überwinden und wirksamere und stärker selektive Verbindungen zu entwickeln, wurden v/eitere
Untersuchungen durchgeführt.
Es hat sich nun gezeigt, daß die Verbindungen der Formel
I eine höhere Aktivität und/oder wesentlich höhere Selektivität gegenüber Getreide, wie Mais, Weizen*
Gerste und Reis besitzen als die bekannten Verbindungen.
Doh. die Verbindungen, die eine FUIiH ' \ /~~ Gruppe
enthalten, wobei R^ die oben angegebene Bedeutung hat,
zeigen nur eine sehr geringe Wirkung gegenüber Getreide wie Mais, Weizen, Gerste und besonders Mais und eine
hohe herbicide Wirksamkeit gegenüber grasartigen Unkräutern, besonders wildem Hafer,(Flughafer).
Die Verbindungen, die eine
Gruppe
enthalten (in der R^ und X die oben angegebene Bedeutung
haben) zeigen nicht nur eine höhere Aktivität gegenüber grasartigen Unkräutern, sondern auch eine höhere

Selektivität zwischen Weizen und wildem Hafer. Ferner ist bei Verbindungen mit der Gruppe
in der R5 und η die oben angegebene Bedeutung haben,
die Aktivität gegenüber GrasUnkräutern wesentlich erhöht,
verglichen mit den bekannten Verbindungen, die mit Methoxy oder Methylsulfonyl substituierte Phenylgruppen
enthalten, obwohl beide Verbindungen nahezu gleich selektiv wirken.
Alle erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen sind wirksam gegenüber grasartigen Unkräutern sowohl vor als auch nach
dem Auflaufen., Höhere Aktivitäten können bei der Behandlung

Die Reaktionstemperatur kann von -100C Ms zum Siedepunkt
des Reaktionsmediums, vorzugsweise bei 10 bis 600C,
liegen und die Reaktion kann innerhalb einer halben Stunde bis zu einigen Stunden oder langer durchgeführt werden.
Nach vollständiger Reaktion wird das Lösungsmittel, soweit erforderlich, entfernt und das Reaktionsgemisch
dann mit einer alkalischen Lösung extrahierte Die Lösung wird mit Salzsäure angesäuert und das rohe Produkt wird
aus dem sauren Gemisch durch Extraktion oder Filtration isoliert«
Das Produkt ist kristallin und das rohe Produkt kann durch Umkristallisieren gereinigt werden und wenn das
Produkt eine einzige Substanz ist, kann das rohe Produkt
durch Destillation oder Säulenchromatographie gereinigt werden.
Eine chemische Formel für die erhaltene gereinigte Verbindung kann bestimmt werden durch Element ar analyse,'
das NMR-Spektrum, Masasn-Spektrum und IR-Spektrum.
Die Natrium- und Kaliumsalze können hergestellt werden durch Behandlung einer Verbindung der Formel I mit Natrium-
oder Kaliumhydroxid in wässriger Lösung oder in einem organischen Lösungsmittel wie Aceton, Methanol,
Ethanol oder Dimethylformamid. Die Salze können durch Filtration oder Eindampfen der erhaltenen Lösung isoliert
werden.
Die Calcium-, Barium-, Mangan-, Kupfer-, Zink-, Nickel-, Kobalt-, Eisen- und Silbersalze können aus dem Natrium-
oder Kaliumsalz erhalten werden durch Behandlung mit dem entsprechenden anorganischen Metallsalz, z.B. mit CaI-

ciumchlorid, Bariumchlorid, Kupfersulfat, Zinkchlorid,
Nickelchlorid und Kobaltnitrat.
Das Calciumsalz kann auch hergestellt werden durch Behandlung einer Verbindung der Formel I mit Calciumhydroxid.
Einige nach dem oben erwähnten Verfahren erhaltenen Metallsalze können eine chemische Veränderung oder Zersetzung
bei hoher Temperatur erleiden und zeigen daher keinen klaren Schmelzpunkt. Durch Anwendung der Infrarotabsorptionsspektroskopie
auf das Ausgangsmaterlal und das Reaktionsprodukt wird die Bildung des Metallsalzes
deutlich durch Übergang der Absorptionsbanden und Veränderung der Absorptionsintensität« So zeigt das
Ausgangsmaterial der Formel I eine Absorption aufgrund der Carbonylgruppe bei Yfellenlängen von 1605 cm und

1655 cm , während das entsprechende Metallsalz die Absorption bei längeren Wellenlängen zeigt.
Ferner kann ein Anion wie OH gleichzeitig mit einem Metallatom bei einigen der oben erwähnten Metallsalze koordiniert

Der Rückstand wurde in Chloroform gelöst und die Lösung mit verdünnter Salzsäure und Wasser gewaschen

10 ml Ethanol, enthaltend 10 % 3-Chlorallyloxyamin, bei
Raumtemperatur zugegeben» Das Gemisch wurde 3 h stehengelassen und in Eiswasser gegossen. Das Gemisch wurde
mit Salzsäure angesäuert und das abgeschiedene Öl mit Chloroform extrahiert. Die Chloroformlösung wurde mit
wasserfreiem Magnesiumsulfat getrocknet und das Chloroform unter vermindertem Druck abdestilliert. Man erhielt
1,5 g der gewünschten Verbindung. Sie wurde durch Säulenchromatographie gereinigt. Man erhielt das cistrans-Gemisch
in Form von blaßrosa Kristallen Fp 125-1270C.

gelöst und ein unlösliches Natriumchlorid abfiltriert. Das Ethanol wurde unter vermindertem Druck abdestilliert.
Man erhielt 1,5g weißes Pulver mit einem Schmelzpunkt von 25O0C oder darüber.

gelöst und zu der Lösung 0,5 g Ethoxyamin gegeben. Das Gemisch wurde 15h
bei Raumtemperatur gehalten und dann in Eiswasser gegossen. Die ausgefallenen Kristalle wurden abfiltriert und
aus Methanol umkristallisiert. Man erhielt 1,3 g der gewünschten Verbindung als farblose Kristalle
Fp 72-74°C.

Wie oben erwähnt, besitzen die erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen eine überlegene herbicide Wirksamkeit. Die Verbindungen
können direkt als Vorauflaufbehandlung auf den Boden oder als Nachauflaufbehandlung auf die Blätter der
Pflanzen aufgebracht werden oder sie können innig mit dem Boden vermischt werden. Die bevorzugte Behandlung
ist eine Nachauflaufbehandlung und die Verbindungen können auf den Boden oder auf die Pflanzen in" Mengen von
5 g oder darüber pro 10 Ar aufgebracht werden.
Ein herbicides Mittel, das eine erfindungsgemäße Verbindung
als Wirkstoff enthält, kann hergestellt werden durch Vermischen mit geeigneten Trägern in einer Form, wie sie
allgemein für landwirtschaftliche Zwecke"angewandt wird. z.B. als benetzbares Pulver, wasserlösliches Pulver,
emulgierbares und fließfähiges Konzentrat. Als feste Träger kommen Talkum, Kieselsäure, Bentonit,Ton,Diatomeenerde
oder ähnliches in Frage. Als flüssige Träger können Wasser, Alkohol, Benzol, Xylol, Kerosin, Mineralöl,
Cyclohexan, Cyclohexanon, Dimethylformamid o.a. verwendet
werden. Ein oberflächenaktives Mittel kann, wenn dies erforderlich ist, zugesetzt werden, um eine homogene
und stabile Zubereitung zu erhalten. Die Verbindungen können auch im Gemisch mit anderen Chemikalien, die in
Landwirtschaft und Gartenbau angewandt werden und die mit den erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen verträglich sind,
vermischt werden. Solche Substanzen können z.B. übliche Fungicide, Insekticide, Acaricide, Herbicide und Pflanzenwachstumsregulatoren
sein. Insbesondere kann durch Vermischen mit anderen Herbiciden die erforderliche
oder der Arbeitsaufwand
.30 MengeVverringert werden und darüberhinaus ist eine höhere
Wirkung oder synergistische Wirkung der beiden Substanzen zu erwarten.

Zum Vermischen der Verbindung mit bekannten Herbiciden wird die Verwendung von Triazinderivaten wie Simazin,
Atrazin und Terbutryn, Harnstoffderivaten wie Ipuron und Tribunyl, heterocyclischen Verbindungen wie1 Bentazon,
Phenoxyalkancarbonsäurederivaten wie 2,4-D und MCPP, Benzonitrilderivaten wie loxynil und SuIfonamidderivaten
wie Chlorsulfuron, empfohlene
Die Konzentration an Wirkstoff in einem herbiciden Mittel kann je nach der Art der Zubereitung variieren und
die Konzentration liegt z»B. im Bereich von 5 bis 80
Gew.-$, vorzugsweise 30 bis 60 Gew.-% bei benetzbaren
Pulvern; 70 bis 95 Gew»-^, vorzugsweise 80 bis 90
Gew„-% bei wasserlöslichen Pulvern,· 5 bis 70 Gew. -%,
vorzugsweise 20 bis 40 Gew.-% bei emulgierbaren Konzentraten und 10 bis 70 Gew.-Ji, vorzugsweise 20 bis 50
Gew.-% bei fließfähigen Mitteln.
Ein benetzbares Pulver, ein wasserlösliches Pulver oder ein emulgierbares Konzentrat, das so hergestellt worden
ist, kann mit Wasser auf eine spezielle Konzentration verdünnt und als flüssige Suspension oder Emulsion zur
Behandlung von Böden oder Pflanzen verwendet werden. Ferner kann ein fließfähiges Produkt direkt zur Behandlung
von Böden oder Pflanzen verwendet werden oder es kann mit Wasser auf eine spezielle Konzentration verdünnt
und als flüssige Suspension zur Behandlung von Böden oder Pflanzen (Blattwerk) verwendet werden.
Beispiele für herbicide Mittel sind im folgenden angegeben:

Versuch 1
Setzlinge von wildem Hafer und Mais wurden jeweils in
ρ Töpfe mit einer Oberfläche von 100 cm gesetzt und im
Gewächshaus gehalten. Als die Pflanzen bis auf 2 bis 2,5 bzw. 2 bis' 3 Blätter gewachsen waren, wurden
wässrige Suspensionen, die erhalten worden waren, durch Verdünnen eines emulgierbaren Konzentrats mit
Wasser auf eine Konzentration von 400 und 200 ppm Wirkstoff auf die Testpflanzen in einer Menge von

100 1/10 Ar aufgesprüht und die Töpfe weiter im Gewächshaus gehalten. 28 Tage nach dem Besprühen wurde der
Grad der Schädigung jeder Pflanze beobachtet und entsprechend einer 0 bis 10-Skala bewertet.

Versuch 2
Setzlinge von wildem Hafer und Weizen wurden jeweils in Töpfe mit einer Oberfläche von 100 cm gesetzt und
im Gewächshaus gehalten. Als die Pflanzen jeweils auf 2 bis 3 Blätter gewachsen waren, wurden wässrige Suspensionen,
die erhalten worden waren, durch Verdünnen eines emulgierbaren Konzentrats mit Wasser auf.eine
Konzentration von 400 bzw. 200 ppm Wirkstoff auf die Pflanzen in einer Menge von 100 1/10 Ar aufgesprüht
und die Töpfe weiter im Gewächshaus gehalten. 28 Tage nach dem Besprühen wurde der Grad der Schädigung jeder
Pflanze entsprechend der bei Versuch'iangegebenen Skala
bewertet.
Die Ergebnisse sind in Tabelle 3 angegeben.

A: Wie In Versuch 1.
Versuch 3
Setzlinge von wildem Hafer und Weizen wurden jeweils in
Töpfe mit einer Oberfläche von 100 cnr" gepflanzt und im
Gewächshaus gehalten. Nachdem die Pflanzen auf 3 bis 4 Blätter gewachsen waren, wurden wässrige Suspensionen, die
hergestellt worden waren, durch Verdünnen eines emulgierbaren Konzentrats mit Wasser auf eine Konzentration von
400 bzw. 200 ppm Wirkstoff auf die Testpflanzen in einer Menge von 100 1/10 Ar aufgesprüht. Die Töpfe wurden weiter
im Gewächshaus gehalten. 28 Tage nach dem Besprühen wurde der Grad der Schädigung jeder Pflanze beobachtet und nach
der bei Versuch 1 angegebenen Skala bewertet.
Die Ergebnisse sind in Tabelle 4 angegeben.

Versuch 4
Setzlinge von wildem Hafer, Fingerkraut, W.zen und Gerste
wurden jeweils in Töpfe mit einer Oberfläche von 100 cm2 gepflanzt und im Gewächshaus gehalten. Als der wilde Hafer
und das Pingerkraut bis zur Bestockung (20 bis 30 cm Länge) gewachsen waren und der Weizen und die Gerste auf 30 bis 35 cm
gewachsen waren, wurden wässrige Suspensionen, die hergestellt worden waren, durch Verdünnen eines benetzbaren Pulvers mit
Wasser auf eine Konzentration von 750, 500, 250 bzw. 125 ppm Wirkstoff^auf die Testpflanzen in einer Menge 100 1/10 Ar
aufgesprüht und die Töpfe weiter im Gewächshaus gehalten. 28 Tage nach dem Aufsprühen wurde der Grad der Schädigung
jeder Pflanze,entsprechend der bei Versuch 1 beschriebenen Skala,bewertet.
•Die Ergebnisse sind in Tabelle 5 angegeben.

Claims (3)
- Patentansprüche\1.) Cyclohexenon-Derivate der allgemeinen FormelOHin der FL, eine Alkylgruppe mit 1 bis 3 Kohlenstoffatomen, R2 eine Alkylgruppe mit 1 bis 3 Kohlenstoffatomen eine Allyl- Propargyl- oder Halοgenalkylgruppe ist und A ausgewählt ist ausR3NHwobei R-R5S(O)noder -C-Rq bedeutet,w die Gruppe -Swpn./-, \ ^ wu.cx — o-ü.q R/ ein Wasserstoffatom, eine Alkylgruppe mit 1 bis 6 Kohlenstoffatomen, eine Phenyl- oder Haiοgenphenylgruppe, Rt- eine Alkylgruppe mit 1 bis 3 Kohlenstoffatomen, X ein Sauerstoff- oder Schwefelatom und η 0 oder 1 ist,und wobei Rg eine Alkylgruppe mit 1 bis 6 Kohlenstoffatomen, eine Halo genalkyl gruppe mit 1 bis 6 Kohlenstoffatomen oder Propenylgruppe, R7 ein Wasserstoffatom oder eine Alkylgruppe mit 1 bis 4 Kohlenstoffatomen, RQ ein Wasserstoffatom, eine Alkylgruppe mit 1 bis 6 Kohlenstoffatomen, eine Propenyl- oder Methoxygruppe, Rq ein Wasserstoffatom, eine Alkylgruppe mit 1 bis 8 Kohlenstoffatomen, eine Halogenalkylgruppe mit 1 bis 3 Kohlenstoffatomen, eine Alkoxygruppe/2mit 1 bis 6 Kohlenstoffatomen, eine Propenyl- oder eine durch Methyl substituierte Phenylgruppe ist und Y und Z jeweils Sauerstoff oder Schwefel bedeuten, sowie Metallsalze oder quaternäre Ammoniumsalze dieser Ve rbindungen.
- 2. Verfahren zur Herstellung der Verbindungen nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man eine Verbindung der FormelOHin der A und R^ die oben angegebene Bedeutung haben, umsetzt mit einer Verbindung der Formel RpONHp, wobei Rp die oben angegebene Bedeutung hat.
- 3. Herbicide Mittel, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie als Wirkstoff einer Verbindung nach Anspruch 1, gegebenenfalls zusammen mit üblichen Trägern und/oder Hilfsmitteln enthalten.6238
