Substituierte S-Carboxymethyl-(thiono)-(di)-thiolphosphor-(phosphon)-säureester
bzw. -esteramide, Verfahren zu ihrer Herstellung und ihre Verwendung als Insektizide
Me vorliegende Erfindung betrifft neue substituierte S-Garboxymethy1-(thiono)-(di)-thiolphosphor(phosphon)-säureester bzw. -esteramide, welche insektizide Eigenschaften
aufweisen sowie ein Verfahren zu ihrer Herstellung.
Es ist bereits bekannt, daß substituierte S-Carboxymethyl-(thiono)thiol-phosphorsäureester,
z.B. O,O-Diäthyl-S-(1-äthylmercapto-1-carbäthoxymethyl)—thionothiolphosphorsäureester
und S-Oarbamoylmethylthionothiolphosphorsäureester,
z.B. O,O-Dimethy1-S—(1-methy1-1-N-methylcarbamoylme thyl)-thionothiophosphorsäureester,
insektizide Eigenschaften besitzen (vergleiche die DT-AS 1.068.699 und die US-Patentschrift
3.007.845).
Es wurde gefunden, daß die neuen substituierten S-Oarboxymethyl(thiono)-(di)-thiolphosphor(phosphon)-säureester
bzw. -esteramide der Formel

X ein Sauerstoff- oder Schwefelatom bedeuten, starke insektizide Eigenschaften besitzen.
Weiterhin wurde gefunden, daß die neuen substituierten 3-Carboxymethyl-(thiono)-(di)-thiol-phosphor(phosphon)-säureester
bzw. -esteramide der Konstitution (i) erhalten werden, wenn man Salze von (lhiono)-(Di)-Thiolphosphor(phosphon)-säureestern
bzw. -esteramiden der .Formel

Überraschenderweise zeigen die erfindungsgemäßen substituierten S-Carboxymethyl(thiono)-(di)-thiolphosphor(phosphorsäureester
bzw. -esteramide eine bessere insektizide Wirkung als vorbekannte Verbindungen analoger Konstitution und gleicher
Wirkungsrichtung. Die neuen Stoffe können dabei sowohl gegen pflanzenschädigende Insekten als auch gegen Hygiene-
und Vorratsschädlinge und/oder auf dem veterinär-medizinischen
Sektor gegen tierische Ektoparasiten, z.B. parasitie-

rende Fliegenlarven, eingesetzt werden.
Verwendet man beispielsweise Brom-iso-propoxy-essigsäure-(4-cyano-phenyl)-ester
und das Kaliumsalz des 0,0-Dimethylthionothiolphosphorsäureesters
als Ausgangsmaterialien, so kann der Reaktionsablauf durch das folgende Formelschema
wiedergegeben werden;

Die zu verwendenden Ausgangsstoffe sind durch die Formeln (II) und (III) eindeutig allgemein definiert. Vorzugsweise
stehen darin jedoch

Die als Ausgangsstoffe zu verwendenden Salze der (Thiono)-(Di)-Thiolphosphor(phosphott)säureester
bzw. -esteramide (III) sind zum größten Teil "bekannt und können nach üblichen Verfahren
hergestellt werden, beispielsweise indem man die entsprechenden
Ester- bzw. Esteramidhalogenide mit Schwefelwasserstoff in Gegenwart von Carbonaten bzw. mit alkoholischem
Alkali behandelt.

Die zum Teil neuen substituierten Halogenessigsäureester (III) können nach prinzipiell bekannten Verfahren hergestellt
werden, beispielsweise durch Reaktion der entsprechenden substituierten Essigsäureester mit Halogen unter UV-Bestrahlung
oder durch Umsetzung mit N-Bromsuccinimid.
Als Beispiele für verfahrensgemäß umzusetzende Halogenessigsäureester
(III) seien im einzelnen genannt:

Das Herstellungsverfahren wird bevorzugt unter Mitverwendung geeigneter Lösungs- und Verdünnungsmittel durchgeführt.
Als solche kommen praktisch alle inerten organischen SoI-ventien infrage. Hierzu gehören insbesondere aliphatische
und aromatische, gegebenenfalls chlorierte Kohlenwasserstoffe, wie Benzol, Toluol, Xylol, Benzin, Methylenchlorid,
Chloroform, Tetrachlorkohlenstoff, Chlorbenzol, oder Äther, z.B. Diäthyl- und Dibutyläther, Dioxan, ferner Ketone, beispielsweise
Iceton, Methyläthyl—, Methylisopropyl-, und
Methylisobutylketon, außerdem Nitrile, wie Aceto- und Propionitril.
Die Reaktionstemperatur kann innerhalb eines größeren Bereiches
variiert werden. Im allgemeinen arbeitet man zwischen 10 und 100, vorzugsweise bei 5 bis 3O0C.
Zur Durchführung des Verfahrens setzt man die Ausgangsstoffe im allgemeinen in äquimolaren Verhältnissen ein. Ein Überschuß
der einen oder anderen Reaktionskomponente bringt im allgemeinen keine wesentlichen Vorteile. Die Umsetzung wird
bevorzugt in Anwesenheit eines der oben aufgeführten Solventien bei den angegebenen Temperaturen vorgenommen. Nach einbis

tür kühlt man den Ansatz ab, gießt das Reaktionsgemisch in
Wasser und nimmt es in einem organischen Lösungsmittel, z.B. Benzol, auf. Anschließend wird die Reaktionsmischung in üblicher
Weise durch Trocknen der organischen Phase, Verdampfen des Lösungsmittels und gegebenenfalls Destillation des Rückstandes
aufgearbeitet.
Die neuen Verbindungen fallen in IOrm von Ölen an, die sich
z.T. nicht unzersetzt destillieren lassen, jedoch durch sogenanntes "Andestillieren", d.h. längeres Erhitzen unter
vermindertem Druck auf mäßig erhöhte Temperaturen von den letzten flüchtigen Anteilen befreit und auf diese Weise gereinigt
werden können. Zu ihrer Charakterisierung dient der Brechungsindex.
Wie bereits mehrfach erwähnt," zeichnen sich die erfindungsgemäßen
substituierten 3-Garboxymethyl-(thiono)-(di)-thiolphosphor(phosphon)-säureester
bzw. -esteramide durch eine hervorragende insektizide Wirksamkeit aus. Sie wirken sowohl
gegen Pflanzen-, Hygiene- und Vorratsschädlinge als auch auf dem veterinärmedizinischen Sektor gegen tierische
Parasiten (Ektoparasiten), z.B. parasitierende Fliegenlarven und besitzen bei geringer Phytotoxizität sowohl eine
gute Wirkung gegen saugende als auch fressende Insekten.
Aus diesem Grunde können die erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungen mit Erfolg im Pflanzenschutz sowie auf dem Hygiene-, Vorratsschutz-
und Veterinärsektor als Schädlingsbekämpfungsmittel eingesetzt werden.

Zu den saugenden Insekten gehören im wesentlichen Blattläuse (Aphidae) wie die grüne Pfirsichblattlaus (Myzus persicae),
die schwarze Bohnen- (Doralis fabae), Hafer- (Rhopalosiphum padi), Erbsen- (Macrosiphum pisi) und Kartoffellaus (Macrosiphum
solanifolii), ferner die Johannisbeergallen- (Cryptomyzus
korschelti), mehlige Apfel- (Sappaphis mali), mehlige Pflaumen-(Hyalopterus
arundinis) und schwarze Kirschenblattlaus (Myzus cerasi), außerdem Schild- und Schmierläuse (Coccina), z.B. die
Efeuschild- (Aspidiotus hederae) und Napfschildlaus (Lecanium
hesperidum) sowie die Schmierlaus (Pseudococcus maritimus);
Blasenfüße (Thysanoptera) wie Hercinothrips femoralis und
Wanzen, beispielweeise die Rüben- (Piesma quadrata), Baumwoll-(Dysdercus intermedius), Bett- (Cimex lectularius), Raub-(Rhodnius
prolixus) und Chagaswanze (Triatoma infestans), ferner Zikaden, wie Euscelis bilobatus und Nephotettix bipunctatus.
Bei den beißenden Insekten wären vor allem zu nennen Schmetterlingsraupen
(Lepidoptera) νχβ &±e Kohlschabe (Plutella maculipennis),
der Schwamnrspinner (Lymantria dispar), Goldafter (Euproctis chrysorrhoea) und Ringelspinner (Malacosoma neustria),
weiterhin die Kohl- (Mamestra brassicae) und die Saateule (Agrotis segetum), der große Kohlweißling (Pieris brassicae),
kleine Frostspanner (Cheimatobia brumata), Eichenwickler (Tortrix viridana), der Heer- (Laphygma frugiperda) und aegyptische
Baumwollwurm (Prodenia litura), ferner die Gespinst-(Hyponomeuta padella), Mehl- (Ephestia kühniella ) und große
Wachsmotte (Galleria mellonella),

Weiterhin zählen zu den beißenden Insekten Käfer (Coleoptera) z.B. Korn- (Sitophilus granarius = Calandra granaria),
Kartoffel- (Leptinotarsa decemlineata), Ampfer- (Gastrophysa viridula), Meerrettichblatt- (Phaedon cochleariae), Rapsglanz-(Meligethes
aeneus), Himbeer- (Byturus tomentosus), Speisebohnen-

Reismehl- (Trlbolium castaneum), Mais- (Calandra oder Sitophilus zeamais), Brot- (Stegobium paniceum), gemeiner Mehl- (Tenebrio
molitor) und Getreideplattkäfer (Oryzaephilus surinamensis),
aber auch im Boden lebende Arten z. B. Drahtwürmer (Agriotes spec.) und Engerlinge (Melolontha melolontha); Schaben wie die
Deutsche (Blattella germanica), Amerikanische (Periplaneta
americana), Madeira- (Leucophaea oder Rhyparobia mader«·), Orientalische (Blatta orientalis), Riesen- (Blaberus giganteus)
und schwarze Riesenschabe (Blaberus fuscus) sowie Henschoutedenia flexivitta; ferner Orthopteren z.B. das Heimchen (Gryllus
domesticus); Termiten wie die Erdtermite (Reticulitermes flavipes) und Hymenopteren wie Ameisen, beispielsweise die
Wiesenameise (Lasius niger).
Die Dipteren umfassen im wesentlichen Fliegen wie die Tau-(Drosophila
melanogaster), Mittelmeerfrucht- (Ceratitis
capitata), Stuben- (Musca domestica), kleine Stuben- (Fannia
canicularis), Glanz- (Phormia regina) und Schmeißfliege
(Calliphora erythrocephala) sowie den Wadenstecher (Stomoxys calcitrans); ferner Mücken, z.B. Stechmücken wie die Gelbfieber-
(Aedes aegypti), Haus- (Culex pipiens) und Malariamücke (Anopheles stephensi)«

Die erfindungsgemäßen Wirkstoffe können in die üblichen Formulierungen
übergeführt werden, wie Lösungen, Emulsionen, Suspensionen, Pulver, Pasten und Granulate. Diese werden in
bekannter Weise hergestellt, z.B. durch Vermischen der Wirkstoffe mit Streckmitteln, also flüssigen Lösungsmitteln,
unter Druck stehenden verflüssigten Gasen und/oder festen Trägerstoffen, gegebenenfalls unter Verwendung von oberflächenaktiven
Mitteln, also Emulgiermitteln und/oder Dispergiermitteln und/oder schaumerzeugenden Mitteln. Im Falle der
Benutzung von Wasser als Streckmittel können z.B. auch organische Lösungsmittel als Hilfslösungsmittel verwendet werden.
Als flüssige Lösungsmittel kommen im wesentlichen infrage: Aromaten, wie Xylol, Toluol, Benzol oder Alkylnaphthaline,
chlorierte Aromaten oder chlorierte aliphatische Kohlenwasserstoffe, wie Chlorbenzole, Chloräthylene oder
Methylenchlorid,
aliphatische Kohlenwasserstoffe, wie Cyclohexan oder Paraffine, z.B. Erdölfraktionen, Alkohole, wie Butanol oder Glycol
sowie deren Äther und Ester, Ketone, wie Aceton, Methylethylketon, Methylisobutylketon oder Cyclohexanon, stark
polare Lösungsmittel, wie Dimethylformamid und Dimethylsulfoxid, sowie Wasser; mit verflüssigten gasförmigen Streckmitteln
oder Trägerstoffen sind solche Flüssigkeiten gemeint, welche bei normaler Temperatur und unter Normaldruck gasförmig
sind, z.B. Aerosol-Treibgase, wie Halogenkohlenwasserstoffe, z.B. Freon; als feste Trägerstoffe: natürliche
Gesteinsmehle, wie Kaoline, Tonerden, Talkum, Kreide, Quarz, Attapulgit, Montmorillonit oder Diatomeenerde und synthetische
Gesteinsmehle, wie hochdisperse Kieselsäure, Aluminiumoxid und Silikate; als Emulgier- und/oder schaumerzeugende

Mittel: nichtionogene und. anionische Emulgatoren, wie PoIyoxyäthylen-Pettsäure-Ester,
Polyoxyäthylen-Fettalkohol-Äther,

Die Formulierungen enthalten im allgemeinen zwischen 0,1 und 95 Gewichtsprozent Wirkstoff, vorzugsweise zwischen 0,5 und
90 %.
Die Wirkstoffe können als solche, in Form ihrer Formulierungen oder in den daraus bereiteten Anwendungsformen, wie
gebrauchsfertige Lösungen, Emulsionen, Schäume, Suspensionen, Pulver, Pasten, lösliche Pulver, Stäubmittel und Granulate
angewendet werden. Die Anwendung geschieht in üblicher Weise, z.B. durch Verspritzen, Versprühen, Vernebeln, Verstäuben,
Verstreuen, Verräuchern, Vergasen, Gießen, Beizen oder Inkrustieren.
Die Wirkstoffkonzentrationen in den anwendungsfertigen Zubereitungen
können in größeren Bereichen variiert werden. Im allgemeinen liegen sie zwischen 0,0001 und 10 %, vorzugsweise
zwischen 0,01 und 1 %.
Die Wirkstoffe können auch mit gutem Erfolg im Ultra-Low-Volume-Verfahren
(ULV) verwendet werden, wo es möglich ist, Formulierungen bis zu 95 % oder sogar den 100 %-igen Wirkstoff
allein auszubringen.

In den folgenden AnwendungsTDeispielen A bis H wurden die erfindungsgemäßen
Wirkstoffe hinsichtlich ihrer Wirksamkeit gegen eine Reihe von Pflanzenschädlingen im Vergleich zu
dem bekannten 0,0-I)iäthyl-S--(i-äthylmercapto-1--carbäthoxymethyl)-
bzw. OjO-Dimethyl-S-O-methyl-i-N-methylcarbamoylmethyl)-dithiophosphorsäureester,
die in den nachstehenden Tests mit (A) bzw. (B) bezeichnet sind, getestet. Die neuen
geprüften Substanzen werden in den verschiedenen Tests durch die jeweils in Klammer gesetzte Ziffer bezeichnet, die den
fortlaufenden Nummern der Herstellungsbeispiele entspricht.

gibt man etwa 25 Testtiere in die Petrischale und bedeckt sie mit einem Glasdeckel.
Der Zustand der Testtiere wird laufend kontrolliert. Es wird diejenige Zeit ermittelt, welche für eine 100 %ige Abtötung
notwendig ist.

Beispiel D Drosophila-Test
Lösungsmittel: 3 Gewichtsteile Aceton
Emulgator : 1 Gewichtsteil Alkylarylpolyglykoläther
Zur Herstellung einer zweckmäßigen Wirkstoffzubereitung vermischt
man 1 Gewichtsteil Wirkstoff mit der angegebenen Menge Lösungsmittel und der angegebenen Menge Emulgator und
verdünnt das Konzentrat mit Wasser auf die gewünschte Konzentration.
1 cnr der Wirkstoffzubereitung wird auf eine Filterpapierscheibe.mit
7 cm Durchmesser aufpipettiert. Man legt diese naß auf die Öffnung eines Glasgefäßes, in dem sich 50 Taufliegen
(Drosophila melanogaster) befinden und bedeckt sie mit einer Glasplatte.
Nach den angegebenen Zeiten bestimmt man die Abtötung in %.
Dabei bedeutet 100 %, daß alle Fliegen abgetötet wurden.

Lösungsmittel: 3 Gewichtsteile Aceton
Emulgator : 1 Gewichtsteil Alkylarylpolyglykolather
Zur Herstellung einer zweckmäßigen Wirkstoffzubereitung vermischt
man 1 Gewichtsteil Wirkstoff mit der angegebenen Menge Lösungsmittel und der angegebenen Menge Emulgator und verdünnt
das Konzentrat mit Wasser auf die gewünschte Konzentration.
Mit der Wirkstoffzubereitung besprüht man Kohlblätter (Brassica oleracea) taufeucht und besetzt sie mit Raupen der
Kohlschabe (Plutella maculipennis).
Nach den angegebenen Zeiten wird der Abtötungsgrad in % bestimmt.
Dabei bedeutet 100 %, daß alle Raupen getötet
wurden, während 0 % angibt, daß keine Raupen getötet wurden.

lösungsmittel: 35 Gewichtsteile Ä'thylenpolyglykolmonomethyl-
äther 35 Gewichtsteile Nonylphenolpolyglykoläther
Zur Herstellung einer zweckmäßigen Wirkstoffzubereitung vermischt
man 30 Gewichtsteile der betreffenden aktiven Substanz mit der angegebenen Menge Lösungsmittel, das den oben
genannten Anteil Emulgator enthält und verdünnt das so erhaltene Konzentrat mit Wasser auf die gewünschte Konzentration.
Etwa 20 Pliegenlarven (Lucilia cuprina) werden in ein Teströhrchen
gebracht, welches ca. 2 cnr Pferdemuskulatur enthält. Auf dieses Pferdefleisch werden 0,5 ml der Wirkstoffzubereitung
gebracht. Nach 24 Stunden wird der Abtötungsgrad in # bestimmt. Dabei bedeuten 100 #, daß alle, und 0 #, daß
keine Larven abgetötet worden sind.
Untersuchte Wirkstoffe, angewandte Wirkstoffkonzentrationen und erhaltene Versuchsergebnisse sind aus der nachstehenden
Tabelle 6 ersichtlich:

auf Nematodenbefall untersucht und der Wirkungsgrad des Wirkstoffs in % bestimmt. Der Wirkungsgrad ist 100 #
wenn der Befall vollständig vermieden wird, er ist 0 #, wenn
der Befall genau so hoch ist wie bei den Kontrollpflanzen in unbehandeltem, aber in gleicher Weise verseuchtem Boden.

Zu einer Lösung von 18 g (0,08 Mol) Brom-iso-propyloxyessigsäureätiiylester
in 80 ml Acetonitril fügt man 17 g (0,08 Mol) des Kaliumsalzes des Äthandithiophosphonsäure-O-äthylesters,
gelöst in ca. 200 ml Acetonitril, rührt das Reaktionsgemisch 1 Stunde bei 20 bis 300G nach und gießt
dann auf eine Mischung aus 500 ml Wasser und 500 ml Toluol. Nach gutem Umschütteln wird die wäßrige Phase abgetrennt;
die organische Lösung schüttelt man noch 2 mal mit je 300 ml Wasser und trocknet sie dann über Natriumsulfat. Nach dem
Abdestillieren des Lösungsmittels wird der Rückstand bei 40 bis 5O0C unter stark vermindertem Druck andestilliert.
Man erhält so 21 g (84 # der Theorie) 0-Äthyl-S-(1-iso-propyloxy-i-carbäthoxy-methylj-äthanthionothiolphosphonsäureester
in Form eines gelben Öles vom Brechungsindex n^2 : 1,5002.
In analoger Weise wie in Beispiel 1 beschrieben können die folgenden Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel (I) hergestellt

Die Herstellung der als Ausgangsstoffe Verwendung findenden substituierten Halogenessigsäureestern (ill) kann z.B. in
nachstehender Weise erfolgen:
/ OC.H7-iso
Br-CH ° '
Zu einer Suspension von 115,7 g (0,65 Mol) N-Bromsuccinimid
in 800 ml Tetrachlorkohlenstoff tropft man bei 80 G eine Lösung von 0,5 g Dibenzoylperoxid in 95 g (0,65 Mol) Iso—
propyloxyessigsäureäthylester. Nach dem Abklingen der exothermen Reaktion wird der Ansatz noch 1/2 Stunde unter Rückfluß
gekocht. Dann filtriert man das Succinimid ab und entfernt das Lösungsmittel durch Destillation unter vermindertem
Druck. Der Rückstand wird destilliert.
Man erhält so 90 g (61 i» der Theorie) Brom-iso-propyloxy—
essigsäureäthylester vom Siedepunkt 99 bis 1020C /15 Torr.
Methode B
Br-CH
Zu 24,9 g (0,1 Mol) Äthoxyes3igsäure-3,4-dichlorphenylester
werden bei 130 bis 14O0C unter Bestrahlung mit UV-Licht 16g
(0,1 Mol) Brom zugetropft. Anschließend wird das Reaktionsgemisch noch 10 Minuten bei 130 C gerührt. Nach dem Abkühlen
löst man den Ansatz in 300 ml Methylenchlorid, wäscht die Lösung mit gesättigter Natriumbicarbonat-Lösung und trocknet sie
über Natriumsulfat. Das Lösungsmittel wird unter vermindertem Druck abgezogen. Man erhält so 28,2 g (86 $ der Theorie) Bromäthoxy-essigsäure—3,4-dichlorphenylester
in Form eines braunen Öles vom Brechungsindex n„ t 1,6183.

Alkylmercapto mit1 bis 6, Alkyl, Alkoxyalkyloxy oder Alkylamino mit jeweils 1 bis 5» oder Alkenylamine mit 2 bis 5 Kohlenstoffatomen,R2 Alkyl mit 1 bis 6, Alkoxyalkyl mit 1 bis 5, Cycloalkyl mit 5 bis 7 Kohlenstoffatomen,R-, Alkyl mit 1 bis 7, Halogenalkyl, Carbalkoxymethyl, Aralkyl oder Alkoxyalkyl mit jeweils 1 bis 5 Kohlenstoffatomen je Alkylkette, Phenyl, Cyclohexyl undR. Alkyl mit 1 bis 5 Kohlenstoffatomen oder gegebenenfalls ein- oder mehrfach, durch gleiche oder verschiedene Halogenatome, Nitril-, Nitro-, ferner Alkyl- und Alkoxygruppen mit je 1 bis Kohlenstoffatomen substituiertes Phenyl, undX ein Sauerstoff- oder Schwefelatom bedeuten. - 2. Verfahren zur Herstellung von substituierten S-Carboxymethyl(thiono)-(di)-thiolphosphor(phosphon)-säureestern bzw« -esteramiden, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man Salze von (Thiono)-(Di)-Thiolphosphor(phosphon)-säureestern bzw. -esteramiden der FormelIe A 15 553 - 58 -509840/1120(II)In welcherΗ., Rp und X die in Anspruch 1 angegebene Bedeutungbesitzen undM ein Alkali-, Erdalkali oder Ammoniumäquivalent bedeutet,mit substituierten Halogenessigsäureestern der FormelOR,I. 3HaI-GH-GO2R4 (III)in welcherR, und R. die in Anspruch 1 angegebene Bedeutung haben undHai ein Halogen-, vorzugsweise Chlor- oder Bromatom bedeutet,umsetzt.
- 3· Insektizide Mittel gekennzeichnet durch einen Gehalt an Verbindungen gemäß Anspruch 1.
