3-sek.-Butyl-2,l,3-benzothiadiazin-(4)-on-2,2-dioxid
47,3 Teile (Gewichtsteile) Anthranilsäure, suspendiert in 8,c Teilen DMF (Dimethylformamid) und 240 Teilen
Chlorbenzol werden bei 200C gleichzeitig mit 59,3 Teilen sek.-Butylaminosulfonylchlorid und 41,9 Teilen
κ; Dimethylcyclohexylamin unter Rühren versetzt. Nach einer Stunde Nachrühren werden 2 Teile DMF zugefügt,
79 Teile Phosgen bei 30-40X eingegast und 2 Stunden bei 4O0C nachgerührt. Nach dem Abziehen überschüssigen
Phosgens wird die Reaktionslösung zunächst mit 150 Teilen Eiswasser, dann mit 200 Teilen 3 n-Natron-'■auge
extrahiert. Der alkalische Extrakt wird zweimal mit 50 Teilen Methylenchlorid extrahiert und dann in verdünnte
Schwefelsäure eingerührt. Nach dem Absaugen, Waschen mit Wasser und Trocknen bei 50X erhält man
3-sek.-Butyl-2,l,3-benzothiadiazin-(4)-on-2,2-dioxid in Form farbloser Kristalle mit Fp. 107-108X.
Eine umkristallisicrtc Probe schmilzt bei 112-!14°C. Das Produkt hat die Forme!

Das entsprechende Natriumsalz erhält man durch Lösen von 2,0 Teilen Natriumhydroxid s\wie 12,5 Teilen
3-sek.-ButyI-2,lr3-benzothiadiazin-(4)-on-2,2-dioxid in 60 Teilen Wasser und Einengen im Vakuum:

2,95 Teile Isopropylamin in 20 Teilen Äther werden bei Raumtemperatur einer Lösung von 12,5 Teilen 3-sek.-Butyl-2,l,3-benzothiadiazin-(4)-on-2,2-dioxid
in 40 Teilen Äther zugeführt. Die ausgefallene Masse kristallisiert beim Anreiben, Fp. 119-1210C.

Die Mittel weisen einen starken herbiziden Effekt auf und können deshalb als Unkrautvernichtungsmittel
bzw. zur Bekämpfung unerwünschten Pflanzenwuchses verwendet werden. Ob die Mittel als totale oder selektive
Mittel wirken, hängt hauptsächlich von der Wirkstoff.nenge je Flächeneinheit ab. 50
Unter Unkräuter bzw. unerwünschten Pflanzenwuchses sind alle monokotylen und dikoty len Pflanzen zu verstehen,
die an Orten aufwachsen, wo sie nicht erwünscht sind.

Die erfindungsgemäßen Mittel können in ihrer aufgewandten Menge schwanken. Die aufgewandte Menge
hängt hauptsächlich von der Art des gewünschten Effektes ab.
Die Aufwandmenge liegt im allgemeinen zwischen 0,1 und 15 oder mehr, vorzugsweise 0,2 und 6 kg Wirkstoff
pro Hektar.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Mittel können in Getreidekulturen, wie

angewandt werden. Die Anwendung erfolgt z.B. in Form von direkt versprühbaren Lösungen, Pulvern, Suspensionen oder
Apium graveolens
Cucurbita spp.
Dispersionen, Emulsionen, Öldispersionen, Pasten, Stäubemitteln, Streumitteln, Granulaten durch Versprühen,
Vernebeln, Verstäuben, Verstreuen oder Gießen. Die Anwendungsformeu richten sich ganz nach den Verwendungszwecken;
sie sollten in jedem Fall möglichst die feinste Verteilung der erfindungsgemäßen Wirkstoffe
gewährleisten.
Zur Herstellung von direkt versprühbaren Lösungen, Emulsionen, Pasten und Öldispersionen kommen Mineralölfraktionen
von mittlerem bis hohem Siedepunkt, wie Kerosin oder Dieselöl, ferner Kohlenteeröle, sowie
Öle pflanzlichen oder tierischen Ursprungs, aliphatische, cyclische und aromatische Kohlenwasserstoffe, zum
Beispiel Benzol, toluol, Xylol, Paraffin, Tetrahydronaphthalin, alkylierte Naphthaline oder deren Derivate, zum
Beispiel Methanol, Äthanol, Propanol, Butanol, Chloroform, Tetrachlorkohlenstoff, Cyclohexanol, Cyclohexanon,
Chlorbenzol, Isophoron, stark polare Lösungsmittel, wie z. B. Dimethylformamid, Dimethylsulfoxid,
N-Methylpyrilidon und Wasser in Betracht.
Wässerige Anwendungsformen können aus Emulsionskonzentraten, Pasten oder netzbaren Pulvern (Spritzpulvern),
Öldispersionen durch Zusatz von Wasser bereitet werden. Zur Herstellung von Emulsionen, Pasten
oder Öldispersionen können die Substanzen als solche oder in einem Öl oder Lösungsmittel gelöst, mittels
Netz-, Haft-, Dispergier- oder Emulgiermittel in Wasser homogenisiert werden. Es können aber auch aus wirksamer
Substanz, Netz-, Haft-, Dispergier- oder Emulgiermittel und eventuell Lösungsmittel oder Öl bestehende
Konzentrate hergestellt werden, die zur Verdünnung mit Wasser geeignet sind.
An oberflächenaktiven Stoffen sind zu nennen:
Alkali-, Erdalkali-, Ammoniumsalze von Ligninsulfonsäure, Naphthalinsulfonsäuren, Phenolsulfonsäuren,
Alkylarylsulfonate, Alkylsulfate, Alkylsulfonate, Alkali- und Erdalkalisalze der Dibutylnaphthalinsulfonsäure,
Lauryläthersulfat, Fettalkoholsulfate, fettsaure Alkali- und Erdalkalisalze, Salze sulfatierter Hexadecanole,
Heptadecanole, Octadecanole, Salze von sulfatiertem Fettalkoholglykoläther, Kondensationsprodukte von sulfoniertem Naphthalin und Naphthalinderivaten mit Formaldehyd, Kondensationsprodukte des Naphthalins bzw, der Naphthalinsulfonsäuren mit Phenol und Formaldehyd, Polyoxyäthylen-
octylphenoläther, äthoxyliertes Isooktylphenol, - Octylphenol oder - Nonylphenol, Alkylphenolpolyglykoläther,
Tributylphenylpolyglykoläther, Alkylarylpolyätheralkohole, Isotridecylalkohol, Fettalkoholäthylenoxid-Kondensate,
äthoxyliertes Rizinusöl, Polyoxyäthylenalkyläther, äthoxyliertes Polyoxypropylen,
Laurylalkoholpolyglykolätheracetal, Sorbitester, Lignin, Sulfitablaugen und Methylcellulose.
Pulver, Streu- und Stäubemittel können durch Mischen oder gemeinsames Vermählen der wirksamen Substanzen
mit einem festen Trägerstoff hergestellt werden.
Granulate, z. B. Umhüllungs-, Imprägnierungs- und Homogengranulate, können durch Bindung der Wirkstoffe
an feste Trägerstoffe hergestellt werden. Feste Trägerstoffe sind z.B. Mineralerden wie Silicagel, Kieselsäuren,
Kieselgele, Silikate, Talkum, Kaolin, Attaclay, Kalkstein, Kalk, Kreide, Bolus, Löß, Ton, Dolomit, Diatomeenerde.,
Calcium- und Magnesiumsulfat, Magnesiumoxid, gemahlene Kunststoffe, Düngemittel, wie z. B.
Ammoniumsulfat, Ammoniumphosphat, Ammoniumnitrat, Harnstoffe und pflanzliche Produkte, wie Getreidemehle,
Baumrinden-, Holz- und Nußschalenmehl, Cellulosepulver und andere feste Trägerstoffe.
Die Formulierungen enthalten zwischen 0,1 und 95 Gewichtsprozent Wirkstoff, vorzugsweise zwischen 0,5
und 90 Gewichtsprozent.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Mittel können unter anderem im

oder während des Auflaufens der Kultur- oder unerwünschten Pflanzen

Im Gewächshaus wurden die Pflanzen Reis (Oryza sativa), Mais (Zea mays), Soja (Glycine max.), Weizen
(Triticum aestivum), Hühnerhirse (Echinochioa eras galli), einjähriges Rispengras (Poa annua), Franzosenkraut
(Galinsoga parviflora), weißer Gänsefuß (Chenopodium album) und echte Kamille (Matricaria chamomilla)
bei einer Wuchshöhe von 2 bis 17 cm mit je 4 kg/ha aktiver Substanz der Wirkstoffe

5 Nach 3 bis 4 Wochen wurde festgestelk, daß die Wirkstoffe I bis VII eine bessere Verträglichkeit «n den Kulturpflanzen
bei gleicher herbizider Wirkung, insbesondere an Ungräsern, zeigten als die Wirkstoffe VIII und IX.
Das Versuchsergebnis ist aus nachfolgender Tabelle zu ersehen.

Claims (2)
1.3-sek.-Butyl-2,l,3-benzothiadiazin-(4)-on-2,2-dioxid imd seine Salze.
2. Herbizid, enthaltend einen festen oder flüssigen Trägerstoff und eine Verbindung gemäß Anspruch 1.
Die Erfindung betrifft die neue Verbindung 3-sek.-Butyl-2,l,3-Benzothiadiazm-(4)-on-2,2-dioxid und seine
Salze mit herbizider Wirkung und Herbizide, die diese Verbindungen als Wirkstoffe enthalten.
Es ist bekannt, 3-Isopropy!-2,l,3-benzothiadiazin-(4)-on-2,2-dioxid als herbiziden Wirkstoff zu verwenden.
Auch andere entsprechende 3-Niederalkylverbindungen, z. B. die entsprechende 3-n-Butyl- und 3-iso-Butylverbindung,
sind bekannt (DE-21 05 687).
Es wurde gefunden, daß 3-sek.-Butyl-2,l,3-benzothiadiazin-(4)-on-2,2-dioxid und seine Salze eine bessere
!5 herbizide Wirkung ohne Schädigung der Nutzpflanzen haben und gegen Hydrolyse in alkalischer wäßriger
Lösung beständiger sind als die bekannten strukturell ähnlichen Verbindungen.
Die Herstellung der neuen Verbindungen kann nach bekannten Methoden erfolgen. Als Vorprodi&U eignen
sich beispielsweise Anthranilsäure bzw. ihre Ester sowie das lH-2,l,3-Benzothiadiazin-4-(3H)-on-2,2-dioxid
(E. Cohen und B. Klarberg, J. Amen ehem. Soc. 84,1994 [1962]). Die Umsetzung von Anthranilsäure oder ihrer
Ester mit Alkylaminosulfonylchloriden zu Sulfamiden, ihre Cyclisierung zu 2,l,3-Benzothiadiazin-(4)-on-2,2-dioxiden
sowie die Alkyl- und Haiogenaikyiaminosuifönylhälögenide sind beschrieben in DE-OS 2i 04632;
