Description

Die Erfindung beiriffi eine VuriiuHung zum Verbinden und Rüden eines Stoffes aus zwei oder mehr Schichten aus textilem Faserstoff, von denen mindestens eine einen thermoplastischen Stoff enthält, wobei die Vorrichtung mindestens ein Schwingungsübertragungsglied und eine Gegenhalteeinrichtung aufweist, die zwischen sich und der Arbeitsfläche des Schwingungsübertragungsgliedes einen Spalt bildet, durch den die zu vei bindenden textlien Schichten transportierbar sind, um Schweißungen in den Teilen der Schichten zu
. erzeugen, die zwischen der Arbeitsfläche und der gegenüberliegenden Fläche liegen, wobei die Gegenhalteeinrichtung als Drehkörper mit an der Umfangsfläche angeordnetem und in einer Ebene beweglichem Schweißmuster ausgebildet ist, das in einer parallel zur
Ii Arbeitsfläche des Schwingungsübertragungsgliedes liegenden Ebene beweglich ist.
Bei einer bekannten Vorrichtung (US-PS 35 62 041) wird Schichtmaterial zur Herstellung von Hemdenmanschetten derart zusammengeschweißt, daß die Schweiß-
Ί naht in einer geraden geschlossenen Linie verläuft, die die Umrandung für den rechteckförmigen Manschettenzuschnitt bildet und diesen umsäumt. Großflächige Schichtstoffbahnen können auf diese Weise nicht hergestellt werden.
π Es ist auch schon vorgeschlagen worden (DT-PS 21 58 565), mittels Ultraschall thermoplastische Werkstoffe derart zu verbinden, daß musterartige Linien entstehen. Diese Schweißverbindungsmuster können aber nur ?.us graden Schweißlinien in Form von Nähten . oder Säumen hergestellt werden.
Demgegenüber liegt der Erfindung die Aufgabe zugrunde, beliebige Muster über die volle, nur von der Maschinengröße begrenzte Breite der Stoffbahnen zu schweißen, und zwar durch nach Art von Steppnähten
ι unterbrochene, aber zusammenhängende und ineinander übergehende Schweißlinien der Muster in einem einzigen Arbeitsgang.
Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß vorgeschlagen, daß die Breite des Drehkörpers
> mindestens einem Großteil der Stoffbreite entspricht und an seiner Umfangsfläche eine Vielzahl von voneinander getrennten Vorsprüngen mit Gegehalteflächen angeordnet sind, wobei die Vorsprünge sich über den gesamten Umfang des Drehkörpers von einem
ι Ende zum anderen erstrecken, und daß Schwingungsübertragungsglieder vorgesehen sind, deren Achsen in zum Drehkörper hin parallelen oder konvergierenden Ebenen liegen, wobei die Gegehalteflächen zu den entsprechenden Arbeitsflächen bei zusammenwirkender Deckungsgleichheit mit ihnen parallel sind. Die im Abstand voneinander angeordneten Schwingungsübertragungsglieder können in einer einzigen oder auch in zwei Reihen angeordnet sein.
Auf diese Weise erhält man ein aus einer Vielzahl von
ι einzelnen Schweißpunkten bestehendes Muster mit dem Vorteil, daß das entstehende Material beliebig zugeschnitten werden kann, ohne auseinander zu fallen. Dieses Material eignet sich besonders für Polsterzwekke, Bettdecken, Tischdecken, Schlafsäcke u. dgl..
Weiterbildungen der Erfindung sind in den Unteransprüchen angegeben.
Anhand der Zeichnung wird der Gegenstand der Erfindung näher erläutert. Es zeigt

In Fig. 1 und 2 ist die Schweißvorrichtung allgemein mit 10 bezeichnet, die ein Traggestell 12 hat.
Im Inneren des Gestells 12 sind elektrische Wandlereinheiten 14 angeordnet, um Schwingungsübertragungsgliedern 16 Ultraschallschwingungen in dem Fachmann bekannter Weise zu vermitteln.
Eine Musterwalze in Form eines Drehkörpers 18 ist zwischen Auflageknaggen 20 des Gestells 12 drehbar angebracht. Die Walze 18 weist eine Reihe von voneinander getrennten Vorsprüngen 21 auf, die in einem Muster angeordnet sind und Außenflächen 22 haben, die den Schwingungsübertragungsgliedern 16 als ambossartige Gegenhaltefläche dienen.
Wie in Fig. 3 gezeigt sind die zusammenzufügenden folienartigen textlien Schichten mit 23 und 24 bezeichnet, die durch zwei Zugwalzen 25 von gesonderten Zufuhrrollen 26 bzw. 27 abgezogen werden, um als übereinander angeordnete Folien zwischen den Schwingungsübertragungsgliedern 16 und der Musterwalze 18 hindurchzulaufen, wo sie in noch näher zu beschreibender Weise zusammengefügt werden. Darauf werden die zusammengefügten Teile 23 und 24 auf einer Walze 28 als geschichtetes Produkt, d. h. als Schichtstoff gesammelt. Die Zugwalzen 25 und 28 werden durch übliche Antriebsmittel angetrieben.
Mindestens eines der Teile 23 und 24 muß thermoplastisches Material enthalten, obwohl die gesamte Folie nicht zu 100% aus Thermoplast bestehen muß. Es hat sich nämlich herausgestellt, daß Mischungen aus thermoplastischen und nicht thermoplastischen Stoffen eine bessere Bindung herstellen als die eines IOO%igen thermoplastischen Materials. Der Begriff- »thermoplastisches Material«, wie es hier durchweg benutzt wird, schließt demzufolge Stoffe ein, die Mischungen aus thermoplastischen und nicht thermoplastischen Materialien sind.
Die Schwingungsübertragungsglieder 16 sind in zwei sich über die Breite der Teile 23 und 24 erstreckenden Reihen angeordnet, wobei die Glieder wie in F i g. 2 und 3 gezeigt in Bewegungsrichtung der Teile abwechselnd zueinander versetzt angeordnet sind. Die unteren Arbeitsflächen 30 der Glieder 16 wirken mit den Außenflächen 22 der Vorsprünge 21 der Musterwalze 18 zusammen, um in den sich zwischen ihnen befindenden Teilen Schweißungen zu bilden. Die Längsachsen der einander benachbarten Glieder 16 sind in zur Musterwalze 18 hin konvergierenden unterschiedlichen Ebenen angeordnet, so daß die Flächen 30 bei sich mit den Flächen 22 völlig deckender Lage zu ihnen im wesentlichen parallel verlaufen, um zwischen den Teilen 23 und 24 eine gleichmäßigere Schweißung herzustellen. Die Glieder 16 sind ausreichend lang, so daß sie gemeinsam die gesamte Breite der Teile 23 und 24 bedecken, und in Längsrichtung der Teile ausreichend zueinander versetzt angeordnet, so daß keine Möglichkeit einer wechselseitigen Berührung zwischen den Gliedern besteht. Um zu gewährleisten, daß jede Stelle der Breite der folienähnlichen Teile mit mindestens einer der Arbeitsflächen in Berührung kommt, überlappen sich die Glieder 16 etwas in Längsrichtung der Elemente 23 und 24. Die Walze 18 wird von einem Motor 34 aus über übliche Antriebselemente 36 angetrieben, so daß stetig neue Vorsprünge 21 in ihre mit den Flächen 30 zusammenwirkende Lage gebracht werden. Die Vorsprünge 21 können wie in Fig. 2 als Beispiel gezeigt, in jedem beliebigen Muster angeordnet sein, das beim Zusammenfügen der Teile 23 und 24 bei ihrem Durchgang zwischen den Schwingungsübertragungsgliedern 16 und der Musterwalze 18 in Form von Schweißungen reproduziert wird. Gewünschtenfalls können zusammen mit den Teilen 23 und 24 zusätzliche foiienähnliche Teile eingeführt werden zum Bilden von verschiedenartigsten zusammengesetzten Produkten. Als Beispiel könnte zum Bilden eines gesteppten Produkts zwischen den Teilen 23 und 24 eine lockere, nicht gewebte faservliesartige Füllung eingeführt werden.
Fig.4 zeigt eine Variante mit einer Musterwalze 18' und Schwingungsübertragungsgliedern 16'. die in gleicher zueinander versetzter Lage wie die Glieder 16 angeordnet sind mit der Ausnahme, daß sie zueinander parallel angeordnet sind. Die Glieder 16' stimmen mit den Gliedern 16 überein mit der Ausnahme, daß die mit 30' bezeichneten unteren Arbeitsflächen in einem kleinen Winkel zur Waagerechten angeordnet sind, damit sie zu den Außenflächen 22' der Stifte bzw. Vorsprünge 2Γ, mit welchen sie zusammenwirken, im wesentlichen parallel liegen.
F i g. 5 zeigt eine zweite Variante, bei welcher die allgemein mit 38 bezeichnete Gegenhalteeinrichtung aus einem Förderer 40 besteht, der Vorsprünge 42 aufweist, mit Gegenhalteflächen 44 zum Zusammenwirken mit den Arbeitsflächen 30" der Schwingungsübertragungsglieder 16". Der Förderer 40 wird um angetriebene Rollen 46 od. dgl. herumgeführt, so daß Vorsprünge 42 aufeinanderfolgend in die mit den Gliedern 16" zusammenwirkende Lage gebracht werden. Unter dem oberen Trumm des Förderers ist eine Stützplattform 50 angeordnet, um ein Durchbiegen ties Förderers durch die Glieder 16" zu verhindern, die in gleicher Weise wie die Glieder 16 nach Fig. 2 in zwei zueinander versetzten Reihen angeordnet sind. Da das obere Trumm des Förderers 40 die Schweißzone horizontal durchläuft, sind die Glieder 16" in zu ihren in einer gemeinsamen horizontalen Ebene liegenden Arbeitsflächen parallelen Ebenen senkrecht angeordnet.

Claims (6)

  1. Patentansprüche:
    I. Vorrichtung zum Verbinden und Bilden eines Stoffes aus zwei oder mehr Schichten aus textilem Faserstoff, von denen mindestens eine einen thermoplastischen Stoff enthält, wobei die Vorrichtung mindestens ein Schwingungsüberlragungsglied und eine Gegenhalteeinrichtung aufweist, die zwischen sich und der Arbeitsfläche des Schwingungsübertragungsgliedes einen Spalt bildet, durch den die zu verbindenden textlien Schichten transportierbar sind, um Schweißungen in den Teilen der Schichten zu erzeugen, die zwischen der Arbeitsfläche und der gegenüberliegenden Fläche liegen, wobei die Gegenhalteeinrichtung als Drehkörper mit an der Umfangsfläche angeordnetem und in einer Ebene beweglichem Schweißmuster ausgebildet ist, das in einer parallel zur Arbeitsfläche des Schwingungsiibertragungsgliedes liegenden Ebene beweglich ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Breite des Drehkörpers (18; 18') mindestens einem Großteil der Stoffbreite (23) entspricht und an seiner Umfangsfläche eine Vielzahl von voneinander getrennten Vorsprüngen (21; 2Γ) mit Gegenhalteflächen (22; 22') angeordnet sind, wobei die Vorsprünge (21; 21') sich über den gesamten Umfang des Drehkörpers von einem Ende zum anderen erstrekken, und daß Schwingungsübertragungsglieder (16; 16') vorgesehen sind, deren Achsen in zum Drehkörper (18; 18') hin parallelen oder konvergierenden Ebenen liegen, wobei die Gegenhalteflächen (22; 22') zu den entsprechenden Arbeitsflächen (30; 30') bei zusammenwirkender Deckungsgleichheit mit ihnen parallel sind.
  2. 2. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß mehrere Schwingungsübertragungsglieder (16; 16') nebeneinander versetzt angeordnet sind und daß deren Arbeitsflächen (30; 30') sich quer zur Tansportrichtung der textlien Schichten (23, 24) überlappen.
  3. 3. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Vorsprünge (21; 21', 42) in einem Muster angeordnet sind.
  4. 4. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, 2 oder 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Drehkörper aus einer Walze (18; 18') besteht.
  5. 5. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß jede der Gegehalteflächen (22; 22') zu einer die betreffende Fläche und den Mittelpunkt der Walze (18; 18') verlaufenden Linie lotrecht ist, wobei die Arbeitsflächen (30; 30') der Schwingungsübertragungsglieder (16; 16') zu einer durch die Arbeitsfläche und den Mittelpunkt der Walze verlaufenden Linie ebenfalls lotrecht sind.
  6. 6. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, 2 oder 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Vorsprünge (42) auf einem umlaufenden, endlosen Förderband (40) angeordnet sind.
