Eine Lösung von 4,2 g u-(lsopropyl)-u-methoxyphenyless'n<=äure,
3,0 g Triäthylamin und 2.6 g Propargylbromid in 20 ml Dimethylformamid wird 2 Stunden
gerührt. Es bildet sich eine weiße Fällung. Das Reaktionsgemisch wird danach in Wasser gegossen
und mit Diäthyläther extrahiert. Der Ätherextrakt wird mit gesättigter Kochsalzlösung gewaschen und
über Natriumsulfat getrocknet. Nach dem Verdampfen des Äthers hinterbleiben 4,5 g a-(Isopropyl)-«-methoxyphenylessigsäure-propargylester
als öl; n-> = 1,507!.
Fine Lösung von 1,4 g 3-Butin-(l)-ol und 20 g
Pyridin in 20 ml Benzol wird mit einer Lösung von 4,5 g a-Allyl-a-methoxyphenylacetylchlorid in 10 ml
Benzo) unter Eiskühlung versetzt. Es scheidet sich sehr rasch eine weiße Fällung aus. Das Reaktionsgemisch
wird mit verdünnter Salzsäure, dann mit 5%iger Natriumcarbonatlösung und schließlich mit gesättigter
Kochsalzlösung gewaschen und über Natriumsulfat getrocknet. Nach dem Verdampfen des Äthers
hinterbleiben 4,6 g a-Allyl-a-melhoxyphenylessigsäure-3-butinylester
als öl; η ir = 1,5137.
Eine Suspension von 0,75 g 66%igem Natriumhydrid in Paraffinöl in 20 ml Dimethylformamid
wird mit einer Lösung von 5.6 g a-Benzol-a-hydroxyphenylessigsäurealiylester
in 10 ml Dimethylformamid unter Kühlung versetzt. Danach wird das Gemisch
1 Stunde gerührt. Hierauf wird in das Gemisch Methylchlorid eingeleitet. Nach beendeter Umsetzung
wird das Reaklionsgemisch in Eiswasser gegossen und mit Diäthyläther extrahiert. Der Ätherextrakt
wird mit gesättigter Kochsalzlösung gewaschen und über Natriumsulfat getrocknet. Nach dem Abdestillieren
des Äthers und Paraffinöls hinterbleiben 5,1 g a-Benzyl-a-methoxyphenylessigsäureallylester als öl:

Eine Lösung von 1,1 g Natriummelhylat in 20 ml Methanol wird mit einer Lösung von 6,0 g a-Benzy1-a-chlorphenylessigsäureallylester
in 10 ml Methanol unter Kühlung versetzt. Danach wird das Gemisch
2 Stunden gerührt. Es scheidet sich eine weiße Fällung aus. Das Reaktionsgemisch wird in Wasser
eingegossen und mit Diäthyläther extrahiert Dc.

40 Ätherextrakt wird mit gesättigter Kochsalzlösung
gewaschen und über Natriumsulfat getrocknet. Nach dem Abdampfen des Äthers hinterbleiben 5,6 g u-Benzyl-a-methoxyphenylessigsäureallylester
als öl: ifö- = 1,5486.
Eine Suspension von 1,5 g 66%igem Nalriumhydrid in Paraffinöl in 20 ml Dimethylformamid wird
mit einer Lösung von 4,5 g a-Phenyl-a-hydroxyphenylessigsäure
in 10 ml Dimethylformamid unter Kühlung versetzt. Danach wird das Gemisch 1 Stunde gerührt.
Hierauf werden 5,8 g 1-Butinylbromid eingetropft,
und das Gemisch wird eine weitere Stunde gerühr1. Das Reaktionsgemisch wird sodann in Eiswasser
eingegossen und mit Diäthyläther extrahiert. Der Ätherextrakt wird mit gesättigter Kochsalzlösung
gewaschen und über Natriumsulfat getrocknet. Nach dem Abdestillieren des Äthers und Paraffinöls hinterbleiben
4.0 g (i-Phenyl-a-(l-butinyloxy)-phenylessigsäure-1-butinylester
als öl; π" = 1,5581.
Eine Lösung von 4,8 g «-Phenyl-n-methoxyphenylessigsäure,
3,0 g Triäthylamin und 4,0 g des Tosylats von 3-Butinylalkohol in 20 ml Dimethylformamid
wird 2 Stunden gerührt. Danach wird das Reaktionsgemisch in Wasser eingegossen und mit Diäthyläther
extrahiert. Der Ätherextrakt wird mit Natriumbicarbonatlösung und gesättigter Kochsalzlösung gewaschen
und über Natriumsulfat getrocknet. Nach dem Abdampfen des Äthers hinterbleiben 4,3 g a-Phcnyl-a-methoxyphenylessigsäure-3-butinylester
als öl n2i = 1,5574.
Die Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel I haber
eine stark ausgeprägte synergistische Wirkung be natürlichem Pyrethrin sowie Allethrin und den ver
schiedensten Insektiziden des Cyclopropancarbon säureestertyps, insbesondere bei N-Chrysanthemoxy
methylOAS^-tetrahydrophthalimid, das im Hände
unter der Bezeichnung »Tetramethrin« erhältlich isi das in der deutschen Auslegeschrift 1 283 843 ir
Beispiel 11 beschrieben ist.
Außerdem haben die Verbindungen der allgemeine Formel I eine stärkere synergistische Wirkung bi
Allethrin, Tetramethrin und 5-Benzyl-3-furylmethy chrysanthemat, im Handel unter der Bezeichnun
»Chrysron« erhältlich, als Piperonylbutoxid, das z\ Zeit in größtem Umfang als Synergist verwendet wir
Die Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel I habe

auch eine ausgeprägte synergistische Wirkung bei den Insektiziden des Carbamattyps, wie l-Naphlhyl-N-methylcarbamat,
im Handel unter der Bezeichnung »Carbaryl« erhältlich.
Die Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel 1 können somit zur Herstellung von Insektiziden Mitteln verwendet
werden, die auf Grund ihrer Hormonaktivität gegenüber Insekten eine stärkere Wirkung bei der
Bekämpfung von Schadinsekten ausüben.
Die synergistischen Wirkungen der Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel I gegenüber Insektiziden des
Cyclopropancarbonsäureestertyps und des Carbamaltyps ergibt sich aus den nachstehenden Vergleichsversuchen.

Versuch A
Es werden Gemische von natürlichem Pyrethrin. Allethrin, Tetramethrin, Chrysron bzw. Carbaryl
mit jeweils der fünffachen Gewichtsmenge Piperonylbutoxid oder einer der Verbindungen 1 bis 27 der
Erfindung mittels Aceton auf die jeweilige Testkonzentration eingestellt. Mit einer Mikrospriize
wird eine geringe Menge der erhaltenen Lösung auf den Rücken des Brustschilds erwachsener Stufenfliegen
aufgebracht und die abtötende Wirkung festgestellt. In Tabelle I sind die Ergebnisse zusammengestellt.
Die LD50 ist die zur Abtötung von 50% der Stubenfliegen erforderliche Menge.

Aus den vorstehenden Vergleichsversuchen ist ersichtlich,
daß die Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel 1 wirksame Synergisten für Insektizide des
Cydopropancarbonsäureestertyps und Carbamattyps
darstellen.
Insektizide Mittel, die ein oder mehrere !
des Cydopropancarbonsäureestertyps
Carbamattyps als Wirkstoffe sowie eine od
Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel I in j
Mengenverhältnis enthalten, sind besoni
sam zur Bekämpfung von Schadinsekten, wie Stubenfliegen, Moskitos und Kakerlaken, sowie Reisschädlingen,
wie Reisstengelbohrer und Zikaden, Reisjassiden, Lepidopterenlarven, die Obstbäume und
Gemüsepflanzen befallen, z. B. die Larven des Kohlwurms, Armywurms und Diamantrückenmotten,
pflanzenparasitischen Milben und Siloschädlingen, wie Reiskäfern. Die Insektiziden Mittel können somit
im Haushalt, in der Landwirtschaft und der Forstwirtschaft eingesetzt werden.
Zur Herstellung von Insektiziden Mitteln, welche die Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel 1 zu-
sammen mit Insektiziden des Cyclopropancarbonsäureestertyps
oder Carbamattyps enthalten, können öllösungen, emulgierbare Konzentrate, benetzbare
Pulver, Stäubemittel, Granulate, Aerosole, Moskitowendel, Räuchermittel, Ködermittel und andere Präparate
unter Verwendung herkömmlicher Träger Verdünnungsmittel oder Hilfsstoffe nach an sicr
bekannten Methoden hergestellt werden. Häufig is es zweckmäßig, den Wirkstoff und den Synergis
zunächst in einem Lösungsmittel, wie Xylol, Methyl naphthalin, Aceton oder Trichloräthan, zu lösen um
aus diesen Lösungen insektizide Mittel herzustellei
Claims (2)
1. Fhenylessigsäureesterc'erivateder allgemeinen
Formel 1

in der R1 einen Alkylrest mit 3 bis 6 Kohlenstoffatomen,
die Allyl-, Butenyl-, Propargyl-, Cyclohexyl-, Phenyl-, Benzyl- oder 2-Thienylgruppe,
R2 einen Alkylrest mit 1 bis 3 Kohlenstoffatomen, die Butinyl- oder Propargylgruppe und R3 einen
Alkinylrest mit 3 bis 6 Kohlenstoffatomen oder die Allylgruppe bedeutet.
2. Verwendung der Verbindungen gemäß Anspruch 1 als Synergisten für Insektizide.
Die Erfindung betrifft Phenylessigsäureesterderivaie
der allgemeinen Formel I
C6H5-C-COOR3 (I)
OR,
in der R1 einen Alkyirest mit 3 bis 6 Kohlenstoffatomen,
die Allyl-, Butenyl-, Propargyl-, Cyclohexyl-, Phenyl-, Benzyl- oder 2-Thienylgruppe, R, einen Alkylrest mit
1 bis 3 Kohlenstoffatomen, die Butinyl- oder Propargylgruppe und R3 einen Alkinylrest mit 3 bis 6 Kohlenstoffatomen
oder die Allylgruppe bedeutet, und ihre Verwendung als Synergisten für Insektizide.
Es ist bekannt, daß Sesamin und ähnliche Verbindungen, die in Sesamöl enthalten sind, zur Verstärkung
der Insektiziden Aktivität von Insektiziden des Pyrethrintyps verwendet werden können.
Aufbauend auf der Erkenntnis, daß Sesamin eine Methylendioxyphenylgruppe in seinem Molekül enthält,
wurden bereits verschiedene Verbindungen mit dieser Gruppe hergestellt. Einige dieser Verbindungen
werden als Synergisten für Pyrethrin verwendet, wie a - [2 - (Butoxyäthoxy) - äthoxy] - 4,5 - methylendioxy-2-propyltoluol,
nachstehend als Piperonylbuioxid bezeichnet, 1,2 - Methylendioxy - 4 - [2 - (octylsulfinyl)-propyl]-benzol,
nachstehend als Sulfoxid bezeichnet, sowie 4-(3,4-Meihylendioxyphenyl)-5-methyl-l ,3-dioxan,
im Handel unter der Bezeichnung »Safroxan« erhältlich. Es sind auch noch andere Typen von
Synergisten bekannt, wie N-(2-Äthylhexyl)-bicyclo[2,2,l]hept
- 5 - en - anhydrophthalsäure - 2,3 - dicarboximid, im Handel unter der Bezeichnung
»MGK-264« erhältlich.
Die bekannten Verbindungen besitzen bestimmte Vorteile und Nachteile. Beispielsweise hat das am
meisten verwendete Piperonylbutoxid zwar eine starke synergistische Wirkung bei natürlichem Pyrethrin.
jedoch nur eine geringe Wirkung bei der im Handel unter der Bezeichnung »Allethrin« erhältlichen Verbindung
und anderen synthetischen Pyrethrinen. während MGK-264 eine stärkere synergistische Wirkung
bei Alleihrin als bei natürlichen Pyrethrinen aufweist.
Es wurde gefunden, daß die Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel I eine ausgeprägte synergislische
Wirkung gegenüber den verschiedensten Insektiziden des CyclopropancarbonsäureestertypE sowie gegenüber
natürlichem Pyrethrin und auch gegenüber Insektiziden des Carbamattyps aufweisen. Dies haben
Vergleichsversuche ergeben.
Die Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel I können in an sich bekannter Weise durch Veresterung von
Verbindungen der allgemeinen Formel II
