Description

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Nadelvlies-Teppichbodenmaterial mit antistatischen Eigenschaften, bestehend aus zwei Vliesschichten, die aus thermoplastischen Fasern aufgebaut und durch einen Vernadelungsprozeß miteinander verbunden sind.
Es ist bekannt, einen zweischichtigen Nadelvlies-Teppichboden herzustellen, der vollständig aus thermoplastischen, synthetischen Fasern besteht Solche Teppichmaterialien haben eine weitgehende Verbreitung gefunden, wobei seitens des Benutzers allerdings in Kauf genommen werden mußte, daß er ständig einer als unangenehm empfundenen, hohen elektrostatischen Aufladung beim Begehen ausgesetzt war.
Aus US-PS 30 08 215 ist es schon bekannt, an textlien Flächengebilden dadurch antistatische Eigenschaften zu verleihen, daß Fasern eingelagert werden, die oberflächlich mit einer antistatisch wirkenden Präparation Oberzogen sind. Bei der Fertigung von Teppichbodenmatertal konnte diese Lösung jedoch nicht befriedigen. Solche Materialien werden insbesondere nach ihrem äußeren Erscheinungsbild bewertet, und dieses wird bereits beeinträchtigt, wenn die zur Erzielung guter antistatischer Eigenschaften erforderliche Mindestmenge an behandelten Fasern eingelagert ist. In dem Bestreben, ein in geschmacklicher Hinsicht frei gestaltbares Teppichboden-Material zu entwickeln, war es deshalb notwendig, neue Wege zu beschreiten.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, einen Teppichboden zu entwickeln, der diese Nachteile vermeidet, und der bei einem frei gestaltbaren Aufbau aus beliebigen Fasern dauerhafte antistatische Eigenschaften gewährleistet.
Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß gelöst durch ein Nadelvlies-Teppichbodenmaterial der eingangs genannten Art, bei dem in der ersten Schicht ein Anteil an Kupferfasern gleichmäßig verteilt ist, und bei dem die zweite Schicht mit Ausnahme der Durchstoßstellen der Nadeln von Kupferfasem frei ist, wobei die Kupferfasfern von der Oberfläche bis zur Unterfläche des Teppichbodenmaterials reichen.
Die Fertigung des erfindungsgemäßen Bodenbelages kann beispielsweise nach der geschilderten Vorgehensweise erfolgen:
Auf an sich bekannte Weise werden aus den thermoplastischen Fasern zunächst zwei Vliesschichten gebildet und aufeinander gelegt Eine der verwendeten Vliesschichten enthält in gleichmäßiger Verteilung einen geringen Anteil Kupferfasern. Anschließend werden beide Vliesschichten miteinander vernadelt Dabei werden die zunächst nur in der einen Schicht enthaltenen, parallel zur Tischebene liegenden Kupferfasern von den Widerhaken der Nadeln erfaßt und quer zu ihrer Ursprungsrichtung gedreht Es wird auf diese Weise erreicht daß die Kupferfasem entsprechend einer Struktur umgeordnet werden, die die Oberfläche und die Unterfläche des Teppichbodenmaterials miteinander verbindet
Der Nadelungsvorgang wirkt sich selbstverständlich nicht nur auf die Kupferfasem aus, sondern es werden ebenfalls zahlreiche Thermoplastfasern hiervon erfaßt Dieses ist keinesfalls störend, sondern eher erwünscht da sich hierdurch eine wesentliche Verbesserung der mechanischen Stabilität des Faservliesstoffes ergibt Der genadelte, Kupferfasem enthaltende Nadelvlies-Teppichboden kann zur weiteren Erhöhung der mechanischen Festigkeit und Abriebfestigkeit mit Bindemitteln imprägniert werden. Kupferfasem haben eine ähnliche Zähigkeit und Elastizität wie Synthesefasern, deshalb ist es möglich, diese zu krempeln und zu nadeln, ohne das Faserbruch entsteht
Beispiel
Auf zwei Krempeln werden zwei Polypropylenfaserflore mit einem Gewicht von je 300 g/m2 bereitet; die Faserlänge beträgt 40 bis 100 mm, die Faserstärke 6 bis 70dea
In eine der beiden Schichten werden Über die Krempel 12 g Kupferfasem einer Länge von 60 mm bei einer Stärke von 70 μ eingearbeitet Anschließend werden beide Schichten übereinancLrgelegt und miteinander vernadelt Das sich ergebende Faserflächengebilde weist ein Gewicht von 612 g/m2 auf. Dieses wird anschließend mit einer 40%igen Acrylesterdispersion imprägniert Nach dem Trocknen und Aushärten des Bindemittels weist das Faserflächengebilde ein Flächengewicht von 850 g/m2 auf.

Claims (1)

  1. Patentanspruch:
    Nadelvlies-Teppichbcdenbelag mit antistatischen Eigenschaften, bestehend aus zwei Vliesschichten, die aus thermoplastischen Fasern aufgebaut und durch einen Vernadelungsprozeß miteinander verbunden sind, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß in der ersten Schicht ein Anteil an Kupferfasern gleichmäßig verteilt ist und die zweite Schicht mit Ausnahme der Durchstoßstellen der Nadeln von Kupferfasern frei ist, wobei die Kupferraserr. von der Oberfläche bis zur Unterfläche des Teppichbodenmaterials reichen.
