Die den Azofarbstofisäurechloriden (2) zugrundeliegenden Azofarbstoffcarbonsäuren
stellt man auf übliche Weise durch Kuppeln von Diazoniumsalzen der Amine (4) mit ß-Oxynaphthoesäure
her.
Zur Überführung der Azofarbstoffcarbonsäuren in die Säurechloride kann man sie in bekannter Weise mit Chlorierungsmitteln wie POCl,, SOCl2 oder COCl2, vorzugsweise in indifferenten
Lösungsmitteln wie Nitrobenzol, chlorierten Benzolen, Xylolen, N-Methylpyrrolidon,unter Zusatz von katalytischen
Mengen von Dimethylformamid oder Pyridin behandeln.
Amine der Formel (3) sind beispielsweise (NH2-Gruppe in m-

Die Kondensation der Azocarbonsäurechloride der Formel (2)
mit den Aminen der Formel (3) wird zweckmäßigerweise durch Erhitzen in organischen Lösungsmitteln, wie o-Dichlorbenzol,
Nitrobenzol, Benzoesäuremethylester, Xylol, Dimethylformamid
oder N-Methylpyrrolidon durchgeführt, wobei ein säurebindendes
Mittel, wie Natriumacetat oder Pyridin oder katalytische Mengen einer Verbindung, die bei Temperaturen über
100 G die Acylierungsrealction beschleunigt, wie Collidin
oder N-Methylpyrrolidon, zugesetzt werden können.
Bei schwerlöslichen Aminen der Formel (3) ist es zweckmäßig sie in einer gerade ausreichenden Menge N-Methylpyrrolidon
oder Dimethylformamid zu lösen und dann diese Lösung für die

Umsetzung mit dem Azosäurechlorid der Formel (2), das beispielsweise
in o-Dichlorbenzol gelöst sein kann, zu verwenden.
Die Kupplungskomponenten der Formel (5) können z. B. durch Kondensation des Z-Hydroxynaphthalin-J-carbonsäurechlorida
mit Aminen der Formel (3) in Gegenwart eines Chlorierungsmittels wie PCI, hergestellt werden.
Die Kupplung der Verbindungen der Formel (5) wird zweckmäßigerweise
durch Zusammengeben der wässrig-alkalischen Lösung der Kupplungskomponente oder einer sehr feinverteilten Suspension
der Kupplungskomponente in Wasser gegebenenfalls unter Zusatz eines organischen Lösungsmittels mit der sauren Diazolösung
vorgenommen. Ein pH-Bereich von 4 bis 7, der vorteilhaft durch Zugabe eines Puffers, wie Natriumacetat, eingestellt wird und
die Zugabe von Netz- oder Dispergiermitteln, beispielsweise Aralkylsulfonaten, erleichtern den gleichmäßigen Ablauf der
Reaktion.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Pigment-Farbstoffe werden auf diese Weise in einem sehr reinen chemischen Zustand, aber gelegentlich
nicht in der für alle Verwendungszwecke optimalen physikalischen Form gewonnen. Sie können dann durch die üblichen
Maßnahmen, wie Zerkleinern, SalzVermahlung oder Rekristallisation
in die dem jeweiligen Verwendungszweck angepasste Form gebracht werden. Die neuen Pigmente können zur
Spinnmasaefärbung, beispielsweise von Viskose, zur Herstellung
von gefärbten Druckpasten für den Buch- oder Offsetdruck, zur Herstellung von gefärbten Lacken, z. B. von Nitrocelluloselacken,
Acrylatlacken, Melaminharzlacken oder Alkydharzen,
zum Färben von Phenoplasten oder Aminoplasten, von Thermoplasten, wie Polystyrol, Polyolefinen oder PVG, von
Gummi oder Silikonharzen, zum Färben von laminatpapieren oder -platten und für den Textildruck verwendet werden.
Insbesondere eignen sich die neuen Pigmente zum Färben von Polyvinylchlorid, Polyäthylen oder Polypropylen sowie in
Lacken und hochwertigen Druckfarben.

In den nachfolgenden Beispielen bedeuten Teile, sofern nichts anderes angegeben ist, Gewichtsteile und die Prozente Gewichtsprozente.
Die Temperaturen sind in Celciusgraden angegeben.
216 Teile des durch Kupplung von diazotierten! 1-Aminoanthrachinon
mit 2-Hydroxynaphthoesäure-3 erhaltenen Farbstoffs werden mit 1300 Teilen o-Dichlorbenzol, 195 Teilen Thionylchlorid
und 5 Teilen Dimethylformamid unter Rühren 5 Stunden auf 110 bis 120 0C erwärmt.
Nach dem Erkalten des Reaktionsgemisches wird das einheitlich kristalline Azofarbstoffmonocarbonsäurechlorid durch Absaugen
isoliert, mit 200 Teilen o-Dichlorbenzol, dann 600 Teilen Benzol und abschließend 1000 Teilen Cyclohexan gewaschen.
Nach dem Trocknen bei 80 0C unter vermindertem Druck erhält
man 178 Teile eines roten Kristallpulvers.

22,0 Teile des so erhaltenen Azofarbstoffcarbonsäurechlorids werden in 780 Teilen trockenem o-Dichlorbenzol verrührt, dann
mit 24,9 Teilen fein gepulvertem Amin der Formel
.CO.
und 5 Teilen Dimethylformamid versetzt und anschließend 5 Stunden auf HO bis 150 ° erhitzt. Nach dem Abkühlen auf 80 °
wird das ausgefallene, schwer lösliche Pigment abgesaugt, mit etwas heißem o-Dichlorbenzol, dann mit kaltem Methanol
gewaschen, bis das Filtrat klar abläuft.
Zur Verbesserung des Pigments kann dieses noch 2 Stunden in Methanol oder einen anderen Solvens ausgekocht oder bei Raumtemperatur
verrührt werden. Nach dem Trocknen bei 80 ° unter vermindertem Druck erhält man 32,0 Teile eines roten Pulvers,

das in den üblichen Lösungsmitteln praktisch unlöslich ist. PVG-Folien, sowie lacke werden in roten Tönen von ausgezeichneter
Licht-, Migrations- und Überlackierechtheit gefärbt.

Mit den Komponenten der nachstehenden Tabelle erhält man weitere Monoazopigmente, wenn man 1 Mol der Diazoverbindung
des in Kolonne I genannten Amins auf 1 Mol 2-Hydroxy-naphthoesäure-(3) kuppelt, die erhaltene Monoazofarbstoffcarbonsäure
in das Säurechlorid überführt und mit 1 Mol des in Kolonne II genannten Amins kondensiert.
Kolonne III bezeichnet den Farbton eines mit dem erhaltenen Pigment hergestellten Lackaufstrichs.

22,0 Teile des gemäß Beispiel 1 erhaltenen Azofarbstoffcarbonsäurechlorids
werden in 780 Teilen trockenem o-Dichlorbenzol auf ungefähr 80 ° erwärmt. Dann setzt man eine warme
Lösung von 23,2 Teilen des Amins der Formel
in 200 Teilen N-Methylpyrrolidon-(2) oder Dimethylformamid
zu und erwärmt 5 Stunden auf 140 bis 150 °.
Das dabei in feinkristalliner Form ausfallende, schwerlösliche Pigment wird nach dem Abkühlen auf 80 ° abgesaugt, mit
etwas heißem o-Dichlorbenzol oder kaltem Dimethylformamid
bzw. N-Methylpyrrolidon-(2) und dann mit kaltem Methanol gewaschen,
bis das Filtrat klar abläuft. Zur Verbesserung des Pigments kann es noch 2 Stunden in Methanol oder einem anderen
Solvens ausgekocht oder bei Raumtemperatur verrührt werden.
Nach dem Trocknen unter vermindertem Druck bei 80 ° erhält man 29,0 Teile eines roten Pulvers, das in den üblichen Lösungsmitteln
praktisch unlöslich ist. PVO-Folien und Lacke werden damit in roten Tönen von ausgezeichneter Licht-, Migrations-
und Überlackierechtheit gefärbt.
Das Pigment hat die Formel:

Mit den Komponenten der nachstehenden Tabelle erhält man weitere Monoazopigmente, wenn man 1 Mol der DiTZOverbindung
des in Kolonne I genannten Amins auf 1 Mol 2-Hydroxynaphthoesäure-(3)
kuppelt, die erhaltene Monoazofarbstoffcarbonsäure ins SäureChlorid überführt und mit 1 Mol des in Kolonne II
genannten Amins kondensiert.
Kolonne III bezeichnet den Farbton eines mit dem erhaltenen Pigment hergestellten Lackaufstrichs.

5 Teile des gemäß Beispiel 1 erhaltenen Farbstoffes und 95 Teile
Einbrennlackmischung (z. B. 70 $>
Kokosalkydharz, 60-prozentig
in Xylol und 30 i» Melaminharz, ungefähr 55-prozentig in Butanol/
Xylol) werden in einem Attritor anger üben. Nach dem Auftragen
und einer Einbrennzeit von 30 Minuten bei 120 ° werden brillante Volltonlactierungen mit sehr guter Lichtechtheit und Überlackierechtheit
erhalten. Bei Zugabe von z. B. TiO2 werden brillante
Weißaufhellungen erzielt.
Bei Verwendung der in den anderen Beispielen dieser Anmeldung beschriebenen Pigmente werden ähnliche Lackierungen in den angegebenen
Farbtönen erhalten.

Beispiel 2; in Kunststoffen
Transparente Polystyroleinfärbungen von sehr guter Lichtechtheit lassen sich erhalten, wenn 0,o5 Teile des gemäß Beispiel
21 erhaltenen Farbstoffs in 100 Teile Polystyrol eingearbeitet werden.
Die Einfärbung erfolgt bei 190 bis 220 ° auf dem Extruder.

Deckende Polystyroleinfärbungen werden analog erhalten, wenn 0,2 Teile des oben genannten Farbstoffs, 1,0 Teile TiO2 und
100 Teile Polystyrol verarbeitet werden.
Bei Verwendung der Pigmente aus den anderen Beispielen werden ähnliche Ergebnisse erhalten.
Beispiel 3 t in Druckfarben
5 Teile des gemäß Beispiel 50 erhaltenen Farbstoffs, 30 bis Teile Harz (z. B. mit Phenolformaldehyd modifiziertes Kolophoniumharz)
und 65 bis 55 Teile Toluol werden in einem Dispergieraggregat
innig vermischt. Man erhält so eine Toluoltiefdruckfarbe von ausgezeichneter Lichtechtheit und hervorragender
Brillanz.
Bei Verwendung der Pigmente aus den anderen Beispielen werden Druckfarben mit ähnlichen Eigenschaften und den angegebenen
Farbtönen erhalten.

Claims (3)
1. Azopigmente der ß-Hydroxynaphthoesäurereihe der allgemeinen
Formel
NHCO
in der
A den Rest eines gegebenenfalls in der 3- oder 4-Stellung
durch Chlor substituierten 1- oder 2-Aminoanthrachinons oder des 2,4,5-Trichloranilins,
R1 Wasserstoff, Chlor, Methyl, Methoxy, Cyan, Carbonamid,
N-Arylcarbonamid oder Carbomethoxy,
R2 Wasserstoff, Chlor, Methyl, Methoxy oder Carbomethoxy und
B Wasserstoff oder gegebenenfalls substituiertes und gegebenenfalls
Ringheteroatome enthaltendes Aryl mit 1 bis 3 Ringen bedeuten, wobei die -NH-CO-G-ruppen in Formel (1)
in raefca- oder para-Stellung zueinander stehen.
2. Farbstoffe gemäß Anspruch 1 der allgemeinen Formel
