Die neuen Phosphorsäureester der Formel I weisen eine breite biozide Wirkung auf und können zur Bekämpfung sehr verschiedenartiger
tierischer Schädlinge eingesetzt werden. Sie eignen sich vor allem zur Bekämpfung von Insekten und von Vertretern
der Ordnung Acarina, z.B. Spinnmilben, Milben und Zecken, sowie aller jener Entwicklungsstadien wie Eier, Larven, Hymphen und
Adulte bzw. Imagines. Besonders hervorzuheben sind jene Verbindungen der Formel I worin R, und R unabhängig voneinander
einen Methyl- oder einen Aethylrest bedeuten, Y Wasserstoff oder ein Halogenatom, Hai ein Chlor- oder Bromatom und R3, falls
Y ein Chloratom darstellt, einen durch mindestens zwei Chlor^
atome oder ein oder zwei Fluor- oder Bromatome substituierten C,-C4-Alkylrest und, falls Y ein Wasserstoffatom bedeutet
einen durch ein oder mehrere Fluor-, Chlor- oder Broraatome

Es hat sich indessen gezeigt, dass die Verbindungen der Formel I nicht nur ein breiteres insektizid-akarizides Wirkungsspektrum aufweisen, sondern gegen spezielle Schädlinge, wie
in den Beispielen gezeigt wird, eine besonders nachhaltige Wirkung haben. Es werden vor allem schädliche Vertreter der Ordnungen
Corrodentia, Orthoptera, Thysanoptera, Coleoptera, Hymenoptera,
Rhynchota, Diptera, Aphaniptera, Lepidoptera und, wie erwähnt,
der Ordnung Acarina bekämpft.

Die Dipteren umfassen im wesentlichen Fliegen wie die Taufliege (Drosophila melanogaster), die Mittelmeerfruchtfliege (Ceratitis
capitata), die Stubenfliege (Musca domestica), die kleine Stubenfliege
(Fannia canicularis), die Glanzfliege (Phormia aegina)
und die Schmeissfliege (Calliphora erythrocephala) sowie den
Wadenstecher (Stomoxys calcitrans); ferner Mücken wie die Gelbfiebermücke
(Aedes aegypti), die Hausmücke (Culex pipiens) oder die Malariamücke (Anopheles Stephens!).
Diese beispielhafte Aufzählung soll nur die Anwendungsbreite
der Verbindungen der Formel I illustrieren und ist nicht als
Abgrenzung gedacht. Zwei Untergruppen der Schädlinge, die besonders
wirksam bekämpft werden, seien hervorgehoben. Einmal werden Schädlinge des Haushalts und der Vorratshaltung mit
den neuen Phosphorsäureestern besonders gut bekämpft (Schaben, Getreide-, Mehl-, Speckkäfer, Grillen usw), zum anderen Ektoparasiten,
zu denen neben Zecken, Milben und Wanzen auch Krankheitsüberträger wie Fliegen und Mücken gehören, die als
Schädlinge an Nutztieren und Wildtieren bekannt sind.
Von besonderem Interesse als Wirkstoffe zur Bekämpfung von
Insekten und von Vertretern der Ordnung Acarina, besonders zur

Die neuen Phosphorsäureester der Formel I können in an sich bekannter Weise hergestellt werden, indem man ein Trialkylphosphit

einen niederen Alkylrest, vorzugsweise einen Methyl- oder Aethylrest

Die Reaktion kann in einem Lösungsmittel, wie Toluol,
Xylol, Cymol, Dioxan oder auch in dem zum Einsatz gelangenden Trialkylphosphit (III) vorgenommen werden.
Die Ester der Formel I können für sich allein-zur Schädlingsbekämpfung
eingesetzt werden, vorzugsweise werden sie aber in Form geeigneter flüssiger oder fester, trockener oder feuchter
Zubereitungen angewendet, z.B. als Stäubepulver, Pasten«, Spritzpulver,
Lösungen, Emulsionskonasentrate, Dispersionakonaentrate.

Die Anwendungsformen richten sich nach den Verwendungszwecken
und müssen eine feine Verteilbarkeit der Wirksubstanz gewährleisten.
Zur Herstellung von Lösungen kommen Lösungsmittel wie Alkohole, z.B. Aethyl- oder Isopropylalkohol, Ketone wie Aceton oder Cyclohexanon, aliphatische Kohlenwasserstoffe wie Kerosen, und cyclische Kohlenwasserstoffe wie-Benzol, Toluol, Xylol, Tetrahydronaphthalin,
alkylierte Naphthaline, ferner chlorierte Kohlenwasser'·
stoffe wie Tetrachloräthan, Aethylenchlorid und endlich auch
mineralische und pflanzliche OeIe oder Gemische der obengenannten
Stoffe in Frage.
Bei den wässrigen Aufarbeitungsformen handelt es sich vorzugsweise
um Dispersionen. Die Wirkstoffe werden als solche oder in einem der oben genannten Lösungsmittel, vorzugsweise
mit Netz- oder Dispergiermitteln, in Wasser homogenisiert. An kationaktiven Dispergiermitteln seien als Beispiele quaternäre
Ammoniumverbindungen genannt, an anionaktiven z.B. Seifen, aliphatische, langkettige Schwefelsauremonoester, aliphatischaromatische
Sulfonsäuren, langkettige Alkoxyessigsäuren, an nichtionogenen Polyglykoläther von Fettalkoholen oder Aethylenoxydkondensationsprodukte
mit p-tert.Alkylphenolen. Andererseits
können auch aus Wirkstoff, Dispergator und eventuell Lösungsmittel bestehende Konzentrate hergestellt werden. Solche Konzentrate
lassen sich vor der Anwendung z.B. mit Wasser verdünnen.
Stäubemittel können zunächst durch Mischen oder gemeinsames Vermählen von Wirksubstanz mit einem festen Trägerstoff hergestellt
werden. Als solche kommen z.B. in Frage: Talkum, Diatomeenerde, Kolin, Bentonit, Calciumcarbonat, Borsäure, Tricalcium-

. phosphat, aber auch Holzmehl, Korkmehl, Kohle und andereMaterialien
pflanzlicher Herkunft. Andererseits können die Substanzen auch mit einem flüchtigen Lösungsmittel auf die Trägerstoffe aufgezogen
werden. Durch Zusatz von Netzmitteln und Schutzkolloiden können pulverförmige Präparate und Pasten in Wasser suspendierbar
und als Spritzmittel verwendbar gemacht werden.
In vielen Fälleft, wie etwa bei der Bekämpfung von Bodenihsekten
und Termiten, ist die Anwendung von Granulaten zur gleichfc massigen Abgabe von Wirkstoffen über einen längeren Zeitraum
von Vorteil. Diese lassen sich durch Lösen des Wirkstoffes in einem organischen Lösungsmittel, Absorption dieser Lösung durch
granuliertes Mineral, z.B. Attapulgit oder SiO2, und Entfernen
des Lösungsmittels herstellen. Sie können auch so hergestellt werden, dass die Phosphorsäureester der Formel I bzw. II mit
polymerisierbaren Verbindungen vermischt werden, worauf eine
Polymerisation durchgeführt wird, von der die Aktivsubstanzen unberührt bleiben, und wobei noch während der Polymerisation die
Granulie^ng vorgenommen wird.

Günstiger ist es, fertige, poröse Polymerengranulate
(Harnstoff/Formaldehyd, Polyacrylnitril, Polyester oder andere)
mit bestimmter Oberfläche und günstigem vorausbestimmbarem Adsorptions/Desorptions-Verhältnis mit den Wirkstoffen z.B. in
Form ihrer Lösungen (in einem niedrigsiedenden Lösungsmittel) zu imprägnieren und das Lösungsmittel zu entfernen.
Derartige Polymerengranulate können in Form von Mikrogranuläten
mit Schüttgewichten von vorzugsweise 300 g/Liter bis 600 g/Liter auch mit Hilf,e von Verstäubern ausgebracht werden.
Das Verstäuben kann über ausgedehnten Flächen von Nutzpflanzen
mit Hilfe von Flugzeugen durchgeführt werden.

Selbstverständlich lassen sich den Granulaten weitere Pestizide, Düngemittel, oberflächenaktive Mittel oder Stoffe zur
Erhöhung des spezifischen Gewichts wie BaSO. zusetzen.
Granulate sind auch durch Kompaktieren des Trägermaterials mit den Wirk- und Zusatzstoffen und anschliessendes Zerkleinern
erhältlich.
Der Gehalt an Wirkstoff in den oben beschriebenen Mitteln
liegt zwischen 0,1 bis 95%; dabei ist zu erwähnen, dass bei der Applikation aus dem Flugzeug oder mittels anderer geeigneter
Applikationsgeräte Konzentrationen bis zu 99,5 % bzw. reiner Wirkstoff eingesetzt werden.
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft deshalb auch Schädlingsbekämpfungsmittel,

Je 1 Hälfte einer Petrischale wurde mit je 1 ml einer acetonischen Lösung der Substanz Nr. 1 behandelt, die 1000,
100, 10, 5, 2,5 und 1,25 ppm des Wirkstoffes enthielt. Nach Abdampfen des Lösungsmittels wurden je 10 unterkühlte Stubenfliegen
bzw. Fruchtfliegen in die vorbereiteten Petrischalen gebracht und die Deckelhälften aufgelegt. Nach wachsenden Zeitintervallen
wurde bei den verschiedenen Konzentrationen die Abtötung kontrolliert. Folgende Abtötung in Prozent wurde nach

Junge Vicia faba-Pflangen von ungefähr 6 cm Höhe wurden5 mit
durch Aphis fabae befallenen Pflanzenteilen infestiert. Nach 5 Tagen waren durch Weiterwachsen der Pflanzen und entsprechend
starke Vermehrung der Blattläuse die Ausgangsbedingungen für den Wirkstofftest gegeben. Die befallene Pflanze wurde mit
'*** den Emulsionen der Wirkstoffe Nr. 1 und Nr. 2 von allen Seiten
(Kontaktwirkung) übersprüht.
Die beiden Wirkstoffe erzielten nach 2 Tagen folgende

Bohnenkäfer, wurde folgendermassen durchgeführt: 4-5 Sämlinge von Phaseolus vulgaris im Primärblattstadium, in einem Blumentopf
angezogen, wurden in Emulsionen der Versuchspräparate
getaucht und anschliessend"trocknen gelassen. Die Versuchstiere^
L-4-Stadien des Käfers, wurden in eine Cellophantüte eingebracht,
die anschliessend mit einem Gummiband über der behandelten Pflanze befestigt wurde. Nach 5 Tagen wird die Wirkung der Behandlung
durch Auszählen der lebenden und toten Tiere und durch Berechnung der prozentualen Abtötung ermittelt.
Für den Wirkstoff Nr. 1 wurden folgende Abtötungsprozente

b) Der Test mit Orgyia gonostigma im L-3-Stadium wurde
analog mit jungen Malven (Malva silvestris) als Wirtspflanze
durchgeführt. Für jeden Versuch wurden 5 Larven verwendet. Nach
2 Tagen wurde ausgewertet.
Für Wirkstoff Nr. 1 wurden folgende Abtötungsprozente erzielt:

Wirkung fegen Chilo suppressalis (Larven)
Die Wirkstoffe Nr. 1 und 2 wurden auf ihre Frasswirkung gegen L-2-Larven geprüft. Zu dieser Prüfung wurden die Larven
auf Wurzolwerk von Reissämlingen ausgesetzt, welGhes man vorher durch Tauöhen in dine Emulsion des Wirkstoffes behandelt
hatte,
Die Auswertung erfolgte nach 5 Tagen.

Buschbohnenpflanzen (Phaseolus vulgaris) wurden im Zweiblattstadium
12 Stunden vor der Wirkstoffbehandlung mit Spinnmilben durch Auflegen befallener Ölattstücke aus einer Zucht
infiziert, so dass sich nach Ablauf dieser Zeit eine Population
in allen Entwicklungsstadien auf der Pflanze vorfand. Mit Hilfe eines Chromatographie-Zerstäubers wurden die Pflanzen dann mit S
dem emulgierten Wirkstoff besprüht/ bis ein gleichmässiger Tröpfchenbelag auf der Blattoberfläche entstand. Nach 2 und
7 Tagen wurde ausgewertet: Die Pflanzenteile wurden unter einem Stereo-Mikroskop zur Berechnung der Abtötungsprozente
inspiziert. Die Wirkung auf Eier war bei dieser Versuchsanordnung nach 2 Tagen noch nicht feststellbar, weil unter den
gegebenen Bedingungen die Embryonalentwicklung 4 Tage dauert. Lag nach 2 Tagen 100% Abtötung für Larven und A ulte vor,
fand Neubesiedlung der Pflanze statt. ^
In der folgenden Tabelle sind die Abtötungsprozente der
normalsensiblen Art Tetranychus urticae Koch und die der phosphorsäureestertoleranten Art Tetranychus telarius L. angegeben

5 Gewichtsteile des Wirkstoffs Nr. 2 und 5 Gewichtsteile
Talkum werden gemischt und fein vermählen. Durch Zumischen weiterer
90 Gewichtsteile Talkum erhält man ein 5 %iges Stäubepulver/ das als Ausgangsmischung für 1:!-Verdünnungen zu abgestufter
Wirkstoffprüfung gegen Vorratsschädlinge verwendet werden kann.
Versuchstiere werden in Glasschalen auf Filterpapier gesetzt, M
das mit 2 g der 5 %igen Formulierung behandelt worden ist. Die Wirkstoffmenge beträgt dabei 100 mg AS/m
Durch 1:1-Verdünnungen erhält man 2,5%ige, l/25%ige, 0/62%ige,
0/31%ige und O,16%ige Wirkstoff-Formulierungen, die einer Wirkstoffmenge
von 50; 25; 12,5; 6,2.und 3/1 mg AS/m entsprechen,
wenn 2 g der jeweiligen Staubformulierung pro Glasschale verwendet werden.
Zur vollständigen Abtötung nach 24 Stunden wurden jeweils
folgende Mindestwirkstoffmengen benötigt: ,
