Description
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur
Bilderzeugung. Insbesondere betrifft die vorliegende
Erfindung ein Verfahren, mit dem ein Bild von hoher
Reproduktionsfähigkeit erzeugt werden kann, wobei sein
Reliefmuster abhängig von der Belichtungsstärke nur
geringfügigen Stärkeschwankungen unterworfen ist und breite
Belichtungstemperaturspannen aufweist.
Eine lichtempfindliche Offsetdruckplatte, deren
Verwendung auf dem Gebiet des Offset-Drucks verbreitet ist,
umfaßt im allgemeinen ein eloxiertes Aluminiumsubstrat, auf
dem sich eine photopolymerisationsfähige lichtempfindliche
Schicht und darüber ein Sauerstoffsperrfilm befindet.
Aufgrund der in jüngster Zeit entwickelten elektronischen
Hilfsmittel hat das sogenannte Desktop-Publishing praktische
Anwendung gefunden, wobei die Dateneingabe, z. B. von
Manuskripten und Abbildungen, das Bearbeiten und
Korrekturlesen am Computer durchgeführt werden, wodurch eine
schnelle Bearbeitung von Abbildungen ermöglicht wird.
Aufgrund dessen entstand das Interesse an einer Möglichkeit
zur Plattenherstellung am Computer, und die Aufmerksamkeit
richtete sich auf eine Laser-Direktdruckplatte, die durch
direkte Belichtung einer lichtempfindlichen Druckplatte
durch Scanning mit einem sichtbaren Laserstrahl ohne
Verwendung einer Negativmaske erzeugt werden kann.
Insbesondere bestand ein starkes Interesse an der
Entwicklung einer Druckplatte zur Belichtung mit einem
Argon-Laserstrahl mit einer Wellenlänge von 488 nm sowie mit
einem YAG-Laser mit einer Wellenlänge von 532 nm, ausgehend
von einem breiten Belichtungsbereich. Lichtempfindliche
Druckplatten, die für die Belichtung mit einem solchen
Laserstrahl geeignet sind, umfassen Offsetdruckplatten, die
in JP-A-60-239736, JP-A-5-78410, JP-A-5-107758, JP-A-6-148885
und JP-A-6-34198 offenbart sind (der hier verwendete
Begriff "JP-A" bezeichnet eine "ungeprüfte japanische Offen
legungsschrift").
Diese herkömmlichen lichtempfindlichen Offsetdruck
platten sind sehr lichtempfindlich, neigen jedoch bei
leichter Veränderung der Belichtungsstärke des sichtbaren
Laserstrahls zu großen Stärkeschwankungen des Musters und
haben enge Belichtungstemperaturspannen. Sie sind kaum in
der Lage, ein Reliefmuster von hoher Reproduktionsfähigkeit
zu erzeugen und sind schwierig zu handhaben.
Zur Lösung dieser Probleme wurde vorgeschlagen, eine
belichtete Druckplatte vor dem Entwickeln 10 bis 30 Minuten
lang auf Zimmertemperatur zu halten, oder die
lichtempfindliche Schicht während oder nach dem Entwickeln
bei 50 bis 180°C für 5 Sekunden bis 10 Minuten zu erwärmen,
wie in JP-A-57-119343 offenbart ist. Es ist jedoch
schwierig, mit diesen Verfahren ein Reliefmuster von hoher
Präzision zu erzeugen, da sie mit einem teilweisen
Zusammenbruch des Musters verbunden sind.
Eine Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung ist die
Bereitstellung eines Verfahrens zur Bilderzeugung, mit dem
eine hervorragende Reproduktionsfähigkeit erzielt werden
kann, geringfügige Stärkeschwankungen eines Reliefmusters
bei Änderung der Belichtungsstärke verursacht werden, und
das breite Belichtungstemperaturspannen aufweist.
Eine andere Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung ist die
Bereitstellung eines Verfahrens zur Herstellung einer
Offsetdruckplatte unter Verwendung des obengenannten
Verfahrens zur Bilderzeugung.
Diese und andere Aufgaben der vorliegenden Erfindung
wurden durch ein Verfahren zur Bilderzeugung gelöst,
umfassend:
- (a) selektives Belichten einer lichtempfindlichen Schicht mit einem sichtbaren Laserstrahl,
- (b) Erwärmen der belichteten lichtempfindlichen Schicht bei einer Temperatur von 36 bis 48°C über einen Zeitraum von 10 Sekunden bis 3 Minuten, und
- (c) Entwickeln der lichtempfindlichen Schicht.
Darüber hinaus wurden diese und andere Aufgaben der
vorliegenden Erfindung durch ein dem obengenannten Verfahren
zur Bilderzeugung entsprechenden Verfahren zur Herstellung
einer Offsetdruckplatte gelöst.
Angesichts der obengenannten Umstände kam man zu dem
Ergebnis, daß ein Verfahren zur Bilderzeugung, das die
Erwärmung einer selektiv belichteten Druckplatte bei einer
spezifischen Temperatur über einen spezifischen Zeitraum
umfaßt, ein Reliefmuster von hoher Reproduktionsfähigkeit
bereitstellt, welches eine verminderte Stärkeschwankung des
Reliefmusters bei Änderung der Belichtungsstärke verursacht
sowie breite Belichtungstemperaturspannen aufweist.
Das Verfahren gemäß der vorliegenden Erfindung ist in
der Bilderzeugung effektiv anwendbar unter der Verwendung
eines Photoresists bei der Herstellung verschiedener
Druckplatten, wie für Offsetdruck, Tiefdruck und Buchdruck,
eine Leiterplatte, IC und LSI, und ist besonders effektiv in
der Herstellung einer Offsetdruckplatte. Zu den
Offsetdruckplatten zählen diejenigen, die ein Substrat mit
darüberliegender lichtempfindlicher Schicht umfassen, die
durch einen sichtbaren Laserstrahl härtbar sind, wie in den
vorangehenden Veröffentlichungen beschrieben.
Beispiele für das Substrat sind Metallplatten (z. B.
Aluminium, Zink, Kupfer, Chrom), Platten, die mit diesen
Metallen beschichtet sind; und Kunststoffolien (z. B.
Polyethylenterephthalat, Polyvinylchlorid, Zelluloseacetat).
Ein Aluminiumsubstrat, das durch mechanisches
Oberflächenaufrauhen, chemisches Ätzen oder Elektropolieren
und anschließendes Eloxieren in einer Elektrolytlösung, die
Schwefel-, Phosphor-, Oxal-, Chrom- und Amidoschwefelsäure
o. ä. enthält, gewonnen wird, und ein Aluminiumsubstrat, das
durch Hydrophilierung der Oberfläche des eloxierten
Aluminiumsubstrats gewonnen wird, werden besonders
bevorzugt. Bei der Behandlung zur Hydrophilierung der
Oberfläche des eloxierten Aluminiumsubstrats wird
vorzugsweise eine wäßrige Natriumsilicatlösung o. a.
verwendet.
Die lichtempfindliche Schicht auf dem Substrat umfaßt
eine lichtempfindliche Zusammensetzung, umfassend ein
polymeres Bindemittel, ein photopolymerisationsfähiges Mono
mer und einen Photopolymerisationsinitiator. Gegebenenfalls
kann die lichtempfindliche Zusammensetzung noch Zusatzstoffe
enthalten, z. B. einen Weichmacher, einen thermischen
Polymerisationshemmer, einen Schaumverhüter und einen
Farbstoff.
Die Beispiele polymerer Bindemittel umfassen Copolymere
umfassend ein Monomer mit einer Carbonsäuregruppe (z. B.
Acrylsäure, Methacrylsäure), und Methylacrylat, Methyl
methacrylat, Ethylacrylat, Ethylmethacrylat, 2-Hydroxy
ethylacrylat, 2-Hydroxyethylmethacrylat, 2-Hydroxypropyl
methacrylat, N-Butylacrylat, N-Butylmethacrylat,
Isobutylacrylat, Isobutylmethacrylat, Benzylacrylat,
Benzylmethacrylat, Phenoxyacrylat, Phenoxymethacrylat,
Isobornylacrylat, Isobornylmethacrylat, Glycidylmethacrylat,
Styrol, Acrylamid oder Acrylonitril; Epoxyacrylatharze des
Phenolnovolaktyps; Epoxymethacrylatharze des Phenol
novolaktyps; Epoxyacrylatharze des Cresolnovolaktyps;
Epoxymethacrylatharze des Cresolnovolaktyps; Epoxyacrylat
harze des Bisphenol-A-Typs; und Epoxyacrylatharze des
Bisphenol-S-Typs. Bevorzugt werden diejenigen mit einer
Acryloyl- oder Methacryloylgruppe, wie Epoxyacrylatharze des
Phenolnovolaktyps, da eine bessere Belichtungs
empfindlichkeit erreicht werden kann. Diese polymeren
Bindemittel können einzeln oder als Kombination zweier oder
mehrerer davon verwendet werden.
Beispiele für das photopolymerisationsfähige Monomer sind
monofunktionelle Monomere (Monomere mit einer funktionellen
Gruppe, z. B. Acrylsäure, Methacrylsäure, Fumarsäure,
Maleinsäure, Monomethylfumarat, Monoethylfumarate,
2-Hydroxyethylacrylat, 2-Hydroxyethylmethacrylat, Ethylen
glycolmonomethyletheracrylat, Ethylenglycolmonomethyl
ethermethacrylat, Ethylenglycolmonoethyletheracrylat,
Ethylenglycolmonoethylethermethacrylat, Glycerolacrylat,
Glycerolmethacrylat, Acrylamid, Methacrylamid, Acrylonitril,
Methacrylonitril, Methylacrylat, Methylmethacrylat,
Ethylacrylat, Ethylmethacrylat, Isobutylacrylat, Isobutyl
methacrylat, 2-Ethylhexylacrylat, 2-Ethylhexylmethacrylat,
Benzylacrylat, Benzylmethacrylat); und polyfunktionelle
Monomere (Monomere mit mindestens 2 funktionellen Gruppen,
z. B. Ethylenglycoldiacrylat, Ethylenglycoldimethacrylat,
Triethylenglycoldiacrylat, Triethylenglycoldimethacrylat,
Tetraethylenglycoldiacrylat, Tetraethylenglycol
dimethacrylat, Butylenglycoldimethacrylat, Propylen
glycoldiacrylat, Propylenglycoldimethacrylat, Trimethylol
propantriacrylat, Trimethylolpropantrimethacrylat, Tetra
methylolpropantetraacrylat, Tetramethylolpropantetrameth
acrylat, Pentaerythritoltriacrylat, Pentaerythritol
trimethacrylat, Pentaerylthritoltetraacrylat, Penta

epoxydiacrylat). Diese Monomere können einzeln oder als
Kombination zweier oder mehrerer davon verwendet werden.
Beispiele für den Photopolymerisationsinitiator
umfassen Photopolymerisationsinitiatoren, die bei Anwendung
eines sichtbaren Laserstrahls mit geringer Stärke
polymerisationsfähig sind (z. B. Titanocenverbindungen,
Triazinverbindungen, Acridinverbindungen, Imidazol
verbindungen); Kombinationen dieser Initiatoren; und
Kombinationen dieser Initiatoren mit anderen Initiatoren und/oder
Sensibilisierungsmitteln. Bevorzugte Kombinationen des
Photopolymerisationsinitiators umfassen eine Kombination aus
einer Titanocen- und einer Triazinverbindung; eine
Kombination aus einer Titanocen-, einer Triazin- und einer
Acridinverbindung; eine Kombination aus einer Triazin- und
einer Hexaarylbiimidazolverbindung; eine Kombination aus
einer Hexaarylbiimidazolverbindung und einem
(p-Dialkylaminobenzyliden)keton; eine Kombination aus einer
Triazinverbindung und einem Merocyaninfarbstoff; und eine
Kombination aus einer Triazinverbindung und einem
Cumarinfarbstoff. Eine Kombination aus mindestens zwei der
drei Verbindungen Titanocenverbindung, Triazinverbindung und
Acridinverbindung wird besonders bevorzugt. Die
Titanocenverbindung wird vorzugsweise in einer Menge von 3
bis 20 Gewichtsanteilen, bezogen auf 100 Gewichtsanteile des
Gesamtgewichts des polymeren Bindemittels, des photo
polymerisationsfähigen Monomers und des Photopoly
merisationsinitiators, zugegeben; die Triazinverbindung wird
in einer Menge von 1 bis 5 Gewichtsanteilen, bezogen auf 10
Gewichtsanteile der Titanocenverbindung, zugegeben; und die
Acridinverbindung wird in einer Menge von 0 bis 3
Gewichtsanteilen, bezogen auf 10 Gewichtsanteile der
Titanocenverbindung, zugegeben.
Beispiele der Titanocenverbindung umfassen
Bis(cyclopentadienyl)-bis[2,6-difluor-3-(pyr-1-yl)phenyl]-
titan, Bis(cyclopentadienyl)-bis[2,6-difluor-2-(pyr-1-yl)-
phenyl]titan, Bis(cyclopentadienyl)-bis(2,3,4,5,6-penta
fluorphenyl)titan und Bis(cyclopentadienyl)bis[2,5-difluor-3-(pyr-1-yl)phenyl]titan.
Beispiele für die Triazinverbindung umfassen
2,4-Bistrichlormethyl-6-(3-brom-4-methoxy)phenyl-s-triazin,
2,4-Bistrichlormethyl-6-(2-brom-4-methoxy)phenyl-s-triazine,
2,4-Bistrichlormethyl-6-(3-brom-4-methoxy)styrylphenyl-s-triazine
und 2,4-Bistrichlormethyl-6-(2-brom-4-methoxy)-
styrylphenyl-s-triazine.
Beispiele für die Acridinverbindung umfassen
9-Phenylacridin, 1,7-Bis(9-acridinyl)heptan,
1,5-Bis(9-acridinyl)pentan, und 1,3-Bis(9-acridinyl)propan.
Beispiele für das Sensibilisierungsmittel umfassen
Xanthenfarbstoffe, z. B. Eosine B (C.I. Nr. 45400), Eosine J
(C.I. Nr. 45380), alkohollösliches Eosine (C.I. Nr. 45386),
Cyanosine (C.I. Nr. 45410), Rose Bengal, Erythrosine (C.I.
Nr. 45430), 2,3,7-Trihydroxy-9-phenylxanthen-6-on, Rhodamine
6G); Thiazinfarbstoffe (z. B. Thionine (C.I. Nr. 52000),
Azule A (C.I. Nr. 52005), Azule C (C.I. Nr. 52002));
Pyroninfarbstoffe (z. B. Pyronine B (C.I. Nr. 45005),
Pyronine GY (C.I. Nr. 45005); und Cumarinfarbstoffe (z. B.
7-Diethylamino-3-(2-benzimidazolyl)cumarin).
Das Sensibilisierungsmittel wird vorzugsweise in einer
Menge von 1 bis 3 Gewichtsteilen, bezogen auf 100 Gewichts
teile des Gesamtgewichts des polymeren Bindemittels, des
photopolymerisationsfähigen Monomers und des Photopolymeri
sationsinitiators zugegeben.
Um die Lichtempfindlichkeit weiter zu erhöhen, kann die
photopolymerisationsfähige Zusammensetzung 1-Hydroxycyclo
hexylphenylketon, 2,2-Dimethoxy-1,2-diphenylethan-1-on,
2-Methyl-1-[4-(methylthio)phenyl]-2-morpholinpropan-1-on,
2-Benzyl-2-dimethylamino-1-(4-morpholinphenyl)-butan-1-on,
2-Hydroxy-2-methyl-1-phenylpropan-1-on, 2,4,6-Trimethyl
benzoyldiphenylphosphinoxid, 1-[4-(2-Hydroxyethoxy)phenyl]-2-hy
droxy-2-methyl-1-propan-1-on, 2,4-Diethylthioxanthon,
2-Chlorthioxanthon, 2,4-Dimethylthioxanthon, 3,3-Dimethyl-4-meth
oxybenzophenon, Benzophenon, 1-Chlor-4-pro
poxythioxanthon, 1-(4-Isopropylphenyl)-2-hydroxy-2-methyl

thioxanthon, 2-Isopropylthioxanthon, Dibenzosuberon, α-α-
Dichlor-4-phenoxyacetophenon, und Pentyl-4-dimethylamino
benzoat enthalten.
Vorzugsweise umfaßt die lichtempfindliche Zusammen
setzung:
- (a) 10 bis 75 Gewichtsteile eines polymeren Bindemittels,
- (b) 5 bis 60 Gewichtsteile eines photopolymerisationsfähigen Monomers, und
- (c) 1 bis 35 Gewicht steile eines Photopolymeri sationsinitiators, jeweils bezogen auf 100 Gewichtsteile des Gesamtgewichtes der Zusammensetzung.
Um eine gleichmäßige lichtempfindliche Schicht zu
erzeugen, kann die lichtempfindliche Zusammensetzung in
einem Lösungsmittel gelöst sein. Beispiele für ein
Lösungsmittel umfassen Aceton, Methylethylketon, Methyliso
butylketon, Diethylketon, Methylamylketon, Ethylenglycol
monomethylether, Ethylenglycolmonoethylether, Propylengly
colmonomethylether, Propylenglycolmonoethylether, Diethylen
glycolmonomethylether, Diethylenglycolmonoethylether, Di
ethylenglycoldimethylether, Diethylenglycoldiethylether,
Propylenglycolmonomethyletheracetat, Propylenglycolmono
ethyletheracetat, 2-Methoxybutylacetat, 3-Methoxybutyl
acetat, 4-Methoxybutylacetat, 2-Methyl-3-methoxybutylacetat,
3-Methyl-3-methoxybutylacetat, 3-Ethyl-3-methoxybutylacetat,
2-Ethoxybutylacetat, 4-Ethoxybutylacetat,
4-Propoxybutylacetat und 2-Methoxypentylacetat. Diese
Lösungsmittel können einzeln oder als Kombination zweier
oder mehrerer davon verwendet werden. Das Lösungsmittel wird
vorzugsweise in einer Menge von 200 bis 1500 Gewichtsteilen,
bezogen auf 100 Gewichtsteile des Gesamtgewichts des
polymeren Bindemittels, des photopolymerisationsfähigen
Monomers und des Photopolymerisationsinitiators zugegeben.
Eine Offsetdruckplatte kann durch Auftragen der
lichtempfindlichen Zusammensetzung, bevorzugt in obenge
nanntem Lösungsmittel gelöst, auf ein Substrat mittels eines
Applikators wie zum Beispiel eines Schleuderapparates, eines
Streichbeschichters oder einen Schleuderbeschichters, bis zu
einem Trockenbeschichtungsgewicht von 0,5 bis 10 g/m²,
gefolgt von Trocknen durch mehrstündigem bis mehrtägigem
Stehenlassen bei Zimmertemperatur oder etwa 20 Minuten bis
mehrere Stunden im Warmlufterhitzer oder Infraroterhitzer,
hergestellt werden. Wenn nötig, kann ein Sauerstoffsperrfilm
zur Vermeidung von Sauerstoff-Desensibilisierung auf der
lichtempfindlichen Schicht bereitgestellt werden. Eine
Sauerstoffsperrschicht kann durch Beschichten der
lichtempfindlichen Schicht mit einer Zusammensetzung
umfassend ein Polyvinylacetatharz mit einer durchschnitt
lichen Verseifungszahl von 70 oder höher oder ein
wasserlösliches Polyamidharz und ein Lösungsmittel wie
Wasser oder ein Alkohol (z. B. Ethanol, Methanol) mittels
eines Schleuderapparates, eines Streichbeschichters, eines
Schleuderbeschichters o.a. bis zu einem Trockenbe
schichtungsgewicht von 0,1 bis 5 g/m², gefolgt von Trocknen,
hergestellt werden.
Gemäß dem Verfahren zur Bilderzeugung der vorliegenden
Erfindung wird eine lichtempfindliche Schicht selektiv
mittels eines Argon-Lasers mit einer Wellenlänge von 488 nm,
eines YAG-Lasers mit einer Wellenlänge von 532 nm etc. mit
einer Stärke von 0,1 bis 10 mJ/cm² belichtet. Nach der
Belichtung und vor der Entwicklung wird die belichtete
lichtempfindliche Schicht 10 Sekunden bis 3 Minuten,
vorzugsweise 15 bis 90 Sekunden, einer Wärmebehandlung bei
einer Temperatur von 36 bis 48°C, vorzugsweise 38 bis 43°C,
unterzogen. Diese Wärmebehandlung ermöglicht eine Härtung
der lichtempfindlichen Schicht bei relativ niedriger
Belichtungsstärke, wobei ein Reliefbild mit einem hohen Grad
an Reproduktionsfähigkeit sowie einer reduzierten
Abhängigkeit der Stärke von der Belichtungsstärke und
breiten Belichtungstemperaturspannen erzeugt wird. Wenn die
Erwärmungszeit weniger als 10 Sekunden oder die Erwärmungs
temperatur weniger als 36°C beträgt, unterliegt die
Reliefmusterschicht häufig einer starken Reduzierung der
Stärke an manchen Stellen, was manchmal zum Verlust
einzelner Musterteile führen kann. Wenn die Erwärmungszeit 3
Minuten oder die Erwärmungstemperatur 48°C übersteigt, fällt
das Reliefmuster oft teilweise in sich zusammen.
Das Entwickeln der belichteten lichtempfindlichen
Schicht kann durch 30 bis 300 Sekunden andauerndes
Einsprühen oder Eintauchen mit bzw. in eine Entwicklerlösung
durchgeführt werden. Aus Rücksichtnahme auf Umwelt oder
Gesundheit wird vorzugsweise ein alkalischer Entwickler
verwendet. Beispiele für alkalische Entwickler umfassen
wäßrige Lösungen eines Hydroxids, Carbonats, Hydro
gencarbonats, Phosphats oder Pyrophosphats eines Alkali
metalles (z. B. Lithium, Natrium, Kalium); wäßrige Lösungen
eines primären Amins (z. B. Benzylamin, Butylamin), eines
sekundären Amins (z. B. Dimethylamin, Dibenzylamin,
Diethanolamin), eines tertiären Amins (z. B. Trimethylamin,
Triethylamin, Triethanolamin), eines cyclischen Amins (z. B.
Morpholin, Piperazin, Pyridin), oder eines Polyamins (z. B.
Ethylendiamin, Hexamethylendiamin); wäßrige Lösungen einer
Ammoniumhydroxidverbindung (z. B. Tetraethylammoniumhydroxid,
Trimethylbenzylammoniumhydroxid, Trimethylphenylbenzyl
ammoniumhydroxid); wäßrige Lösungen einer Sulfoniumhydroxid
verbindung (z. B. Trimethylsulfoniumhydroxid, Diethylmethyl
sulfoniumhydroxid, Dimethylbenzylsulfoniumhydroxid); und
Pufferlösungen, die Cholin oder ein Silikat enthalten.
Mit dem Verfahren der vorliegenden Erfindung kann ein
hoher Grad an Bildreproduktionsfähigkeit bei gleichzeitiger
Abnahme der Abhängigkeit der Stärke von Änderungen der
Belichtungsstärke und breite Belichtungstemperaturspannen
erreicht werden. Das Verfahren zur Bilderzeugung der
vorliegenden Erfindung eignet sich besonders zur Herstellung
einer Offsetdruckplatte.
Die vorliegende Erfindung wird im folgenden mit Bezug
auf Beispiele näher erläutert, es wird jedoch darauf
hingewiesen, daß die Erfindung nicht auf diese Beispiele
beschränkt ist. Wenn nicht anders angegeben, beziehen sich
alle Teile, Prozentangaben und Verhältnisse auf das Gewicht.
Eine lichtempfindliche Zusammensetzung wurde durch
Mischen der folgenden Komponenten hergestellt.

Die lichtempfindliche Zusammensetzung wurde mittels
eines Schleuderapparates bis zu einem Trockenbeschichtungs
gewicht von 3 g/m² auf eine eloxierte Aluminiumplatte mit
einer Dicke von 0,3 mm aufgebracht und bei 60°C 5 Minuten
getrocknet, wobei eine lichtempfindliche Schicht gebildet
wurde.
80 Teile eines 1 : 1 Gemisches von teilweise verseiftem
Polyvinylacetat (Verseifungszahl: 90) und teilweise
verseiftem Polyvinylacetat (Verseifungszahl: 80) wurden in
einem Wasser/Methanol (70/30) Lösungsmittelgemisch gelöst
und die Lösung wurde mittels eines Schleuderapparates bis zu
einem Trockenbeschichtungsgewicht von 0,5 g/m2 auf die
lichtempfindliche Schicht aufgebracht und bei 60°C 5 Minuten
getrocknet, wobei eine lichtempfindliche Offsetdruckplatte
erhalten wurde.
Jede Platte wurde in einen Argon-Laser-Belichter (LPS
Plotter, hergestellt von Think Laboratory Co., Ltd.;
Wellenlänge: 488 nm) gegeben und bildweise mit einem Argon-Laser
mit einer Stärke von 0,5 mJ/cm² bei 25°C belichtet, so
daß ein Punktreliefbild mit einem zwischen 1 und 99%
variierendem Flächenverhältnis erhalten wurde. Nach der
Belichtung wurde die Platte 30 Sekunden lang bei 40°C
erhitzt, dann durch 60 Sekunden langes Einsprühen mit einer
0,5% wäßrigen Lösung von Natriumcarbonat bei 25°C entwickelt
und daraufhin 2 Minuten bei 100°C getrocknet. Schließlich
wurde die gesamte Oberfläche der entwickelten
lichtempfindlichen Schicht eine Minute lang ultraviolettem
Licht einer Ultrahochdruck-Quecksilberlampe ausgesetzt.
Offsetdruckplatten wurden wie oben beschrieben
hergestellt, mit dem Unterschied, daß die
Erwärmungsbedingungen variiert wurden, um die Reproduktions
fähigkeit des Punktreliefbildes zu vergleichen. Die
erhaltenen Ergebnisse sind in der nachstehenden Tabelle 1
aufgeführt.
Weiterhin wurden Offsetdruckplatten wie oben
beschrieben hergestellt, mit dem Unterschied, daß die
Belichtungsstärke auf 0,75 mJ/cm² oder 1 mJ/cm² und auch die
Erwärmungsbedingungen wie nachstehend in Tabelle 2 und 3
gezeigt geändert wurden, um die Reproduktionsfähigkeit des
Punktreliefbildes zu vergleichen. Die erhaltenen Ergebnisse
sind in Tabelle 2 und 3 aufgeführt.
Die Bildreproduktionsfähigkeit wurde anhand des
folgenden Bewertungssystems ausgewertet.
A Punkte mit einem Flächenverhältnis von 1 bis 99% wurden reproduziert.
B Punkte mit einem Flächenverhältnis von 2 bis 98% wurden reproduziert.
C Punkte mit einem Flächenverhältnis von mehr als 3 und weniger als 97% wurden reproduziert.
D Punkte mit einem Flächenverhältnis von mehr als 4 und weniger als 96% wurden reproduziert.
E Punkte mit einem Flächenverhältnis von mehr als 5 und weniger als 95% wurden reproduziert.
A Punkte mit einem Flächenverhältnis von 1 bis 99% wurden reproduziert.
B Punkte mit einem Flächenverhältnis von 2 bis 98% wurden reproduziert.
C Punkte mit einem Flächenverhältnis von mehr als 3 und weniger als 97% wurden reproduziert.
D Punkte mit einem Flächenverhältnis von mehr als 4 und weniger als 96% wurden reproduziert.
E Punkte mit einem Flächenverhältnis von mehr als 5 und weniger als 95% wurden reproduziert.
Weiterhin wurden in der gleichen Weise wie oben beschrieben
Offsetdruckplatten hergestellt, außer daß die
Belichtungsstärke auf 0,75 mJ/cm² und die Temperatur auf 20°C
oder 30°C geändert wurde. Die Reproduktionsfähigkeit des
Punktreliefs wurde wie oben ausgewertet. Die Ergebnisse
werden in den nachstehenden Tabellen 4 und 5 gezeigt.
Wie aus den Ergebnissen in den Tabellen 1 bis 5
ersichtlich ist, bewirkt eine Wärmebehandlung von 10
Sekunden bis 3 Minuten bei 36 bis 48°C nach Belichten mit
einem sichtbaren Laserstrahl und vor der Entwicklung eine
Verbesserung der Reproduktionsfähigkeit eines Punktrelief
bildes.
Diese Patentanmeldung basiert auf der in Japan
eingereichten Anmeldung Nr. Hei 8-198304, auf deren gesamten
Inhalt hiermit Bezug genommen wird.
Claims (9)
1. Verfahren zur Bilderzeugung umfassend:
- (a) selektives Belichten einer lichtempfindlichen Schicht mit einem sichtbaren Laserstrahl,
- (b) Erwärmen der belichteten lichtempfindlichen Schicht bei einer Temperatur von 36 bis 48°C über einen Zeitraum von 10 Sekunden bis 3 Minuten, und
- (c) Entwickeln der lichtempfindlichen Schicht.
2. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, wobei die Erwärmung bei
einer Temperatur von 38 bis 43°C durchgeführt wird.
3. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, wobei die
lichtempfindliche Schicht eine lichtempfindliche Zusammen
setzung, umfassend ein polymeres Bindemittel, ein
photopolymerisationsfähiges Monomer und einen
Photopolymerisationsinitiator, umfaßt.
4. Verfahren nach Anspruch 3, wobei der
Photopolymerisationsinitiator eine Kombination aus mindes
tens zwei Verbindungen, gewählt aus Titanocenverbindungen,
Triazinverbindungen und Acridinverbindungen, ist.
5. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, wobei das Verfahren ein
Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Offsetdruckplatte darstellt.
6. Verfahren nach Anspruch 5, wobei die
Offsetdruckplatte die lichtempfindliche Schicht auf einem
Substrat und einen Sauerstoffsperrfilm auf der
lichtempfindlichen Schicht umfaßt.
7. Verfahren nach Anspruch 3, wobei das polymere
Bindemittel, das photopolymerisationsfähige Monomer und der
Photopolymerisationsinitiator in der lichtempfindlichen
Zusammensetzung in einer Menge von 10 bis 75, 5 bis 60 bzw.
1 bis 35 Gewichtsanteilen, bezogen auf 100 Gewichtsanteile
des Gesamtgewichtes der Zusammensetzung, enthalten ist.
8. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, wobei die
lichtempfindliche Schicht unter Verwendung eines Argon-Lasers
mit einer Wellenlänge von 488 nm oder eines YAG-Lasers
mit einer Wellenlänge von 532 nm selektiv einer
Belichtung der Stärke 0,1 bis 10 mJ/cm² ausgesetzt wird.
9. Druckplatte, erhältlich gemäß dem Verfahren nach
einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8.
