Das durch den Stutzen α eintretende Wasser
fällt zunächst auf die obere Scheibe f, läuft von dieser herab und wird von der zweiten
Scheibe g aufgenommen, um in der Richtung der Pfeile durch die Oeffnung h zur nächsten
Scheibe zu gelangen; von hier aus wiederholt sich der gleiche Vorgang, bis am unteren Ende
der Scheibenbatterie das Gemisch von Wasser und dem durch b eingeführten Dampf bezw.
Brüden durch den Abfiufsstutzen c von der Luftpumpe angesaugt wird. Durch diese Einrichtung
wird bewirkt, dafs das Wasser möglichst viele Mal die Form verändert und dadurch
viel Fläche zur Condensation bietet. Die Rundeisenstäbe e dienen zur Verbindung und
zum Zusammenhalten der einzelnen Scheiben im Cylinder d unter sich.
Claims (1)
- Patent-Anspruch:Ein Condensator, bestehend aus einer Anzahl horizontal über einander liegender, an Stangen e befestigter, ebener Scheiben f und g, welche in einem geschlossenen Cylinder d angeordnet sind, und bei welchem Dampf und Wasser in der angegebenen Weise in gleicher Richtung den Apparat durchströmen.Hierzu I Blatt Zeichnungen.BERLIN.
