Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft Schädlingsbekämpfungsmittel, insbesondere insektizide und akarizide
Mittel, enthaltend als Wirkstoff eine Verbindung der allgemeinen Formel

Die neuen Verbindungen können erhalten werden durch Kondensation einer Verbindung der Formel

worin R2. R3 und R4 die weiter oben gegebene Bedeutung
haben und Hai für ein Halogenatom, wie Brom oder vorzugsweise Chlor, steht, unter Abspaltung einer
Verbindung R5 Hai.
Die aliphatischen Reste, die durch die Symbole R und R1 dargestellt werden, können geradkettig oder
verzweigt sein. Genannt seien z. B. folgende Gruppen: Methyl-. Äthyl-. Propyl-. Isopropyl- und Butylgrupsind
Ester, welche sich von halogenierten Acetessigsäuren ableiten, wobei die Substituenten R3, R4 und
Hai die oben angegebene Bedeutung haben.
Als Alkohole, die den Rest R2 bilden, kommen in
Betracht Tetrahydrofurfurylalkohol, ferner Glycerin, in welchem mindestens zwei Hydroxylgruppen durch
Acetalbildung mit Aldehyden, wie z. B. Formaldehyd, Acetaldehyd, oder Ketonen, wie Aceton. Methylisobutylketon.
Acetophenon, cyclisch miteinander verbunden sind.
Zur Herstellung der neuen Verbindungen werden die Reaktionskomponenten auf höhere Temperatur
erhitzt. z.B. 50 bis 200 C und vorzugsweise etwa 90

bis 150DC. Es kann vorteilhaft oder zweckmäßig sein,
inerte Lösungsmittel, wie Benzol, Toluol, Xylol, Chlorbenzol oder Benzin, mit zu verwenden und gegebenenfalls
in einer Inertgasatmosphäre, z.B. unter Stickstoff und/oder unter vermindertem Druck, zu arbeiten.
Es können die verschiedensten Körper gegen die Schädlinge geschützt werden, wobei sowohl gasförmige
als auch flüssige oder feste Körper als Träger der wirksamen Substanz verwendet werden können.
Als derartige zu schützende bzw. als Träger zu verwendende Körper kommen in Frage z. B. Luft, insbesondere in Räumlichkeiten, dann Flüssigkeiten,
wie z, B. Wasser in Teichen, und schließlich jegliche
tote und lebende feste Unterlage, wie z. B. beliebige Gegenstände in bewohnten Zimmern, in Kellern, in
Estrichen, in Stallungen; ferner Pelze, Federn, Wolle u. dgl sowie Lebewesen des Pflanzen- und Tierreiches
in ihren verschiedensten Entwicklungszuständen, sofern sie gegenüber den Schädlingsbekämpfungsmitteln
unempfindlich sind.
Die Bekämpfung der Schädlinge wird nach üblichen Verfahren vorgenommen, z. B. durch Behandlung der
zu schützenden Körper mit den Verbindungen in Dampfform, z. B. als Räuchermittel oder in Form von
Stäube- oder Spritzmitteln, z.B. als Lösungen bzw. 25 Analyse:

Suspensionen, die mit Wasser oder geeigneten organischen Lösungsmitteln, wie z. B. Alkohol, Petroleum,
Teerdestillaten, u. a. zubereitet worden sind; auch
können wäßrige Lösungen bzw. wäßrige Emulsionen von organischen Lösungsmitteln, die die wirksamen
Stoffe enthalten, zum Bestreichen, Bespritzen oder Tauchen der zu schützenden Gegenstände dienen.
Die Spritz- und Stäubemittel können die üblichen inerten Füllstoffe oder Zeichnungsmittel, wie z, B.
Kaolin, Gips oder Bentonit, oder weitere Zusätze, wie Sulfitcelluloseablauge. Cellulosederivate u. dgl, ferner
zur Verbesserung der Netzfähigkeit und Haftfestigkeit die üblichen Netz- und Haftmittel beigemischt enthalten.
Die Schädlingsbekämpfungspräparate, welche die neuen Verbindungen enthalten, können in Pulverform,
in Form von wäßrigen Dispersionen bzw. Pasten oder als selbstdispergierende öle hergestellt werden.
Die neuen Verbindungen können als einzige Wirkstoffe in einem Schädlingsbekämpfungsmittel vorhanden
sein, oder auch in Kombination mit anderen Insektiziden und/oder Fungiziden. Die Verwendung
solcher Präparate im Pflanzenschutz erfolgt nach den üblichen Spritz-, Gieß-, Stäube- und Räucherverfahren.
In den folgenden Ausfuhrungen bedeuten Teile Gewichtsteile. Das Verhältnis von Gewichtsteil zu
Volumteil ist das gleiche wie dasjenige zwischen dem Kilogramm und dem Liter. Die Temperaturen sind in
Celsiusgraden angegeben. Im folgenden wird die Herstellung einer der erfindungsgemäß verwendeten neuen
Verbindungen näher erläutert:
18,9 Teile «-Chloracetessigsäuretetrahydrofurfurylester
(Acetessigsäuretetrahydrofurfurylester Kp^1 M
102 ) werden in 25 Volumteilen Chlorbenzol zum Sieden erhitzt und tropfenweise mit 11,7 Teilen Trimethylphosphit
versetzt. Anschließend hält man die Mischung noch während 1 Stunde bei 140 . Nach
dieser Zeit hat man in einer Kältefalle 3,6 Teile Methylchlorid aufgefangen. Die leichtflüchtigen Teile
werden im Vakuum bei 90 Badtemperatur entfernt. Der Rückstand (23,6 Teile) läßt sich im Hochvakuum

Da die Acetalisierung des Glycerins gleichzeitig in 1,3- und 1,2-Stellung verläuft, wurde das Gemisch

Man vermischt 2 Teile der obigen Verbindungen 1 bis 9 mit 1 Teil des Kondensationsproduktes aus
1 Mol tert.Octylphenol und 8 Mol Äthylenoxyd und 7 Teilen Isopropanol. Man erhält jeweils eine klare
Lösung, die als Spritzmittelkonzentrat verwendet werden kann und sich durch Eingießen in Wasser
emulgieren läßt.
a) Zur Feststellung der Kontaktwirkung auf Blattlause
wurde folgender Versuch durchgeführt, wobei Spritzbrühen mit 0,08, 0,04, 0,02 und 0,01% Wirkstoffgehalt
verwendet wurden.
Puffbohnen, die stark mit Blattläusen befallen waren, wurden allseitig gespritzt und nach 48 Stunden die
ίο Wirkung festgestellt.
Die erhaltenen Resultate sind in der folgenden Tabelle zusammengestellt.

Für jede Pflanze wird ein Zeichen verwendet. + bedeutet, daß keine lebenden Läuse vorhanden
sind, — bedeutet ungenügende oder keine Wirkung, ' bedeutet gute Wirkung, nur vereinzelte lebende
Läuse.
b) Zur Feststellung der Blattlauswirkung durch Diffusion durch die Blätter wurde folgender Versuch
durchgeführt, wobei Spritzbrühen mit 0,08, 0,04, 0,02 und 0,01% Wirkstoffgehalt verwendet wurden.
Bei Puffbohnen, die nur auf der unteren Seite der Blätter mit Blattläusen befallen waren, wurden nur
die oberen Blattseiten mit den oben angegebenen Spritzbrühen gespritzt und nach 48 Stunden die Kontrolle
der Wirkung auf der Blattunterseite durchgeführt. Die erhaltenen Resultate sind in der nachfolgenden
Tabelle zusammengestellt.

Diese Versuchsergebnisse zeigen die eindeutige Überlegenheit der erfindungsgemäß verwendeten
Wirkstoffe 1 bis 9 gegenüber den aufgeführten bekannten Insektiziden a bis d bezüglich der Diffusionswirkung
gegen Blattläuse.
c) Zur Feststellung der innertherapeutischen, sogenannten
systematischen Wirkung wurde folgender Versuch durchgeführt, wobei Spritzbrühen mit 0,08,
0,04. 0,02 und 0,01% Wirkstoffgehalt verwendet wurden.
Bei Puffbohnen (Vicia fabae), die stark mit Blattlausen
(Doralis fabae) befallen waren, wurden die unteren Blätter entfernt und am Stengel auf halber
Höhe eine Farbmarke angebracht. Dann wurden bei je zwei Pflanzen die unteren Hälften der Stengel mit
den Spritzbrühen der angegebenen Konzentrationen gespritzt. Nach 48 Stunden wurde die Kontrolle auf
die Blattlauswirkung im oberen nicht gespritzten Teil der Pflanzen vorgenommen. Die erhaltenen Resultate
sind in der folgenden Tabelle zusammengestellt.

Die Verbindungen 1 bis 9 besitzen auch eine gute akarizide Wirkung, z. B. gegen die rote Spinnmilbe.
Die Verbindungen zeigen auch eine gute bis ausgezeichnete Fra"ßgiftwirkung gegen die Fliege Musca
domestica und gegen Gastroidea viridula und eine gute Ovicidwirkung gegen die Eier von Ephestia
kühniella.
Zur Herstellung von Spritzmittelkonzentraten können auch andere als das obenerwähnte Netz- und
Emulgiermittel verwendet werden. Es kommen nichtionoaene Produkte in Betracht, z. B. Kondensations-

produkte von aliphatischen Alkoholen, Aminen oder Carbonsäuren mit einem langkettigen Kohlenwasserstoffrest
von etwa 10 bis 30 Kohlenstoffatomen mit Äthylenoxyd, wie das Kondensationsprodukt von
Octadecylalkohol und 25 bis 30 Mol Äthylenoxyd oder dasjenige von Soyafettsäure und 30 Mol Äthylenoxyd
oder dasjenige von technischem Oleylamin und 15 Mol Äthylenoxyd oder dasjenige von Dodecylmercaptan
und 12 Mol Äthylenoxyd. Unter den anionaktiven Emulgiermitteln, die herangezogen werden
können, seien erwähnt das Natriumsalz des Dodecylalkoholsulfonsäureesters, das Natriumsalz der
Dodecylbenzolsulfonsäure. das Kalium- oder Triäthanolaminsalz der ölsäure oder der Abietinsäure
oder von Mischungen dieser Säuren oder das Natriumsalz einer Petroleumsulfonsäure.

- Patentanspruch:Schädlingsbekämpfungsmittel, insbesondere insektizide und akarizide Mittel, enthaltend als Wirkstoff eine Verbindung der allgemeinen FormelR-OxP-O-C-R4R1-O/Il οC-R3C
\O-R,worin R und R1 niedrigmolekulare Alkylreste mit 1 bis 4 Kohlenstoffatomen.
