Abstract

Eine quecksilberfreie Bogenentladungsröhre für eine Entladungslampenvorrichtung weist eine abgedichtete Glaskammer mit zumindest einem Metallhalogenid für die Hauptlichtemission und einem Edelgas auf. Beide Endöffnungen einer Glasröhre sind durch Quetschung abgedichtet, und Elektrodenstangen sind einander gegenüberliegend vorgesehen. Jede Elektrodenstange weist eine derartige, konzentrisch abgestufte Form auf, dass ein spitzenseitiger Bereich dicker ist als ein basisseitiger Bereich, das Volumen V eines Elektrodeneinbettungsbereichs zwischen 0,25 und 0,42 mm·3· liegt und das Gesamtvolumen der Elektrodenstange 0,4 bis 0,6 mm·3· beträgt.
