Abstract
Μέθοδοι για την παρασκευή μικροσωματιδίων με μειωμένα επίπεδα υπολειμματικού διαλύτη. Τα μικροσωματίδια έρχονται σε επαφή με κάποιο μη υδατικό σύστημα πλυσίματος για τη μείωση των επιπέδων του υπολειμματικού διαλύτη στα μικροσωματίδια. Τα προτιμώμενα μη υδατικά συστήματα πλύσης περιλαμβάνουν 100% αιθανόλη και κάποιο μείγμα αιθανόλης και επτανίου. Για τη σκλήρυνση και το πλύσιμο των μικροσωματιδίων σε ένα μόνο βήμα και ως εκ τούτου την εξάλειψη της ανάγκης για πλύσιμο μετά το βήμα της σκλήρυνσης, μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί μείγμα διαλυτών με κάποιο διαλύτη σκλήρυνσης και κάποιο διαλύτη πλυσίματος.
