Abstract

Η παρούσα εφεύρεση παρέχει μία μέθοδο παραγωγής περιοχών λειτουργικών πρωτεϊνών οι οποίες είναι θραύσματα πρωτογενών μεταφραστικών προϊόντων που συνίστανται εκ μιας ή περισσοτέρων διακριτών περιοχών πρωτεΐνης που κωδικοποιούνται μέσω συγκεκριμένων υποσυνόλων εξονικών ακολουθιών. Η μέθοδος βασίζεται στην ενσωμάτωση μέσω ενός μονού συμβάματος ομόλογου ανασυνδυασμού, μιας ρυθμιστικής μονάδας μέσα στο ευκαρυωτικό γονίδιο που κωδικοποιεί το πρωτογενές μεταφραστικό προϊόν στο επίπεδο της ιντρονικής γονιδιωματικής περιοχής άμεσα και παρακείμενα στις εξονικές ακολουθίες, οι οποίες κωδικοποιούν την περιοχή λειτουργικής πρωτεΐνης.
