Abstract
Se revelan los refrigeradores destinados particular aunque no exclusivamente al almacenamiento y transporte de vacunas. Un refrigerador tiene un contenedor de carga útil (20) dentro del cual se pueden introducir ítems para almacenamiento de temperatura controlada. Enfriamiento significa que puede incluir una unidad de refrigeración (30) con elementos de enfriamiento (32) o a una masa térmica fría que puede enfriar agua dentro de la cavidad principal. Donde haya una unidad de refrigeración, una fuente de poder, típicamente de origen solar, podrá actuar como fuente de poder para la unidad de refrigeración. Una de las formas de realización de la invención puede incluir un compartimento de congelación cercano a los elementos de enfriamiento (32).Alternativamente, la región de refrigeración podrá comprender un tubo de escape dentro del contenedor de carga útil.
