Abstract
Un método de inspeccionar recipientes en cuanto a variacionescomerciales que afectan las características ópticas de los recipientes, que comprende los pasos de: (a) dirigir energía luminosa hacia un recipiente en forma tal que una primera longitud de onda de la energía luminosa responde a un primer tipo de variación comercial en el recipiente y una segunda longitud de onda de la energía luminosa, diferente de la dicha primera longitud de onda responde a un segundo tipo de variación comercial diferente del dicho primer tipo, (b) dirigir energía luminosa desde el recipiente hacia un medio sensor de luz, y (c) detectar variaciones comerciales de los dichos primer y segundo tipos en el recipiente como una función de la energía luminosa en las dichas primera y segunda longitudes de onda incidentes sobre dicho medio sensor de luz. 1Un aparato para la detección de variaciones de tensión y variaciones opacas en recipientes, que comprende: un medio sensor de luz para producir señales eléctricas que responden a energía luminosa incidente sobre él en rangos visibles e infrarrojos, un primer medio para dirigir energía luminosa infrarroja a través de un recipiente en dicho medio sensor de luz en forma tal de crear en dicho medio sensor de luz un antecedente normalmente gris, y en forma tal que las variaciones opacas en el recipiente aparecen como señales oscuras contra el dicho antecedente gris. un segundo medio, que incluye polarizaciones cruzados dispuestos sobre lados opuestos del recipiente, para dirigir energía luminosa visible a través del y hacia dicho medio sensor de luz en forma tal que las variaciones de tensión en el recipiente aparecen como señales brillantes contra en antecedente gris en el dicho medio sensor de luz,un medio acoplado a dicho medio sensor de luz para detectar dichas variaciones de tensión y opacas como una función de dichas señales brillantes y oscuras contra el dicho antecente gris.
