Abstract
Se divulga un polvo cermet que permite la preparación de un recubrimiento de cermet que tiene tanto una alta resistencia al desgaste como una elevada resistencia a la corrosión contra un ácido fuerte con un pH menor que 1. El polvo cermet divulgado contiene partículas de carburo de tungsteno en una cantidad de 40 % en masa o más; partículas de carburo de molibdeno en una cantidad de 10 % en masa a 40 % en masa; y Ni o una aleación de Ni como un metal matriz, en donde el polvo cermet contiene además cromo, ya sea como un carburo o un metal o un elemento de aleación contenido en el metal matriz, en una cantidad de 8 % en masa o más.
