Abstract

Se describe un tubo de metal que es para tubería de vehículo y que presenta alta resistencia a la corrosión sin que la resistencia a la corrosión sea reforzada por medio de un revestimiento o capa de revestimiento de resina, debido a que una capa de revestimiento de chapado por inmersión en caliente es formada al aplicar al tubo un chapado por inmersión en caliente. El tubo de metal descrito para tubería de vehículo tiene una capa de revestimiento de chapado formada sobre la superficie de un tubo de metal formado, dicha capa de revestimiento de chapado siendo formada por medio de un chapado por inmersión en caliente sobre la superficie del tubo de metal, y la capa de revestimiento de chapado siendo formada a partir de una aleación de chapado por inmersión en caliente que comprende por lo menos 3% en peso de Al, 1-15% en peso de Mg, y Zn y las inevitables impurezas como el resto.
