Abstract
激光焊接用激光透过性树脂组合物含有热塑性树脂100重量份以及密度至少为4g/cm3且平均粒径为100nm-400nm的氧化钛0.01-3重量份,显现白色、灰色或者淡彩色的白色系色调。激光焊接方法是在可至少部分具有激光吸收性的树脂构件2上重叠由上述激光透过性树脂组合物成形的激光透过性的树脂构件1,再通过向其照射激光光束3而使之热焊接的方法。

技术领域
本发明涉及作为激光焊接用树脂构件原材料使用的显现不透明的白色、灰色或者淡彩色的白色系色调的激光透过性树脂组合物以及使用该组合物的激光焊接方法。
背景技术
热塑性树脂构件之间的接合,已知的有如使用粘合剂的粘合方法、振动焊接、超音波焊接、激光焊接这样的使树脂部分熔融的焊接方法等。
通过粘合剂的粘合,由于其中所含溶剂的挥发·飞散、残留,因此从环境、安全、健康的方面考虑应避免使用。通过振动或超音波的焊接由于过度的机械应力、暴露于过热,使树脂脂构件在广范围易受到变形或破损,而且必须切削接合面上生成的毛刺,因此从品质、原料利用率方便考虑应避免使用。
激光焊接是在激光吸收性的树脂构件上重叠激光透过性的树脂构件,自其上照射的激光光束透过透过性的树脂构件,到达吸收性的树脂构件并被吸收,在狭小范围引起发热,通过使两构件热熔融而接合。激光焊接由于不存在溶剂挥发等,从环境、安全以及健康的方面考虑优良,不存在过度的应力或暴露于过热条件,而且通过简便的操作可使复杂形状的树脂构件之间以充分的强度和原材料利用率良好的接合。因此适宜用于需要避免振动或热、精密地与树脂构件接合的精密机械·电子零部件·医疗器械的制造过程。作为这样的激光焊接,例如在日本专利特表平9-510930号公报以及日本专利特开平11-170371号公报中公开了无色透明、无着色或者黑着色的激光透过性的树脂构件与不透明或者黑着色的激光吸收性树脂构件之间的焊接。
但是,目前的透明激光透过性的树脂构件与激光吸收性的树脂构件之间的激光焊接中,由于焊接部位可透视,因此限制了实用范围。另外,透过性树脂构件与吸收性树脂构件是异色之间或黑色之间的焊接也限制了色调和用途。
而且,目前的含有氧化锌这样的白色顏料的具有清洁感的漂亮的白色树脂构件,即使是采用激光焊接,由于顏料易使激光光束反射、色散,因此不能使激光光束充分透过,造成激光焊接强度不够。
本发明是为解决上述课题的发明,其目的是提供外观上显现白色系色调的树脂组合物,特别是显现白色度高的白色系色调的树脂组合物及使用了该组合物的激光焊接方法,该组合物可作为成形可使激光光束透过、可简便地激光焊接的焊接构件的原材料使用焊接。
发明的揭示
为达到上述目的的本发明的激光焊接用激光透过性树脂组合物含有热塑性树脂100重量份、密度至少为4g/cm3的平均粒径为100nm-400nm的氧化钛0.01-3重量份,显现白色、灰色或者淡彩色的白色系色调。
该组合物是适量含有高密度且微细的氧化钛的组合物。因此,由该组合物成形树脂构件时,由于可使进行激光焊接所需的足够量的激光光束透过,因此可得到充分的焊接强度。而且,可使其白色度提高。另外,当氧化钛起填充剂的作用时,成形的树脂构件强度高。
氧化钛的含有量或平均粒径比上述范围少时,则造成由该组合物成形的构件在外观上半透明以及隐蔽力不充分。另一方面,如果超过了该范围,则由该组合物成形的构件,由于激光焊接时氧化钛自身对激光光束的吸收或反射散射的量增多,不能使激光光束充分透过,结果造成激光焊接不完全。
如氧化钛的平均粒径为200nm-270nm,则可得到白色系的漂亮色调的树脂成形物。
氧化钛的折射率n1与热塑性树脂的折射率n2较好为满足下式(1)以及(2)
n1-n2≥1.0 …(1)
1.4<n2<1.7 …(2)。选择了同时满足该式(1)和(2)的氧化钛与热塑性树脂的组合的组合物,氧化钛可保持微细状并均一分散于组合物中的树脂。由分散了氧化钛的组合物成形的构件显现均质的白色系,可使进行激光焊接所需的足够量的激光光束透过。另一方面,由不满足任一式的组合形成的组合物,氧化钛不能在组合物中充分分散。由氧化钛未充分分散的组合物成形的构件显现不均质、斑状的白色系色调,而且在其表面吸收激光光束,结果造成不能使进行激光焊接所需的足够量的激光光束透过。
氧化钛也称为二氧化钛,是C.I.Pigment White 11中示例的白色顏料。氧化钛的折射率n1特好为2.72-2.78。氧化钛也可经选自铝、氧化铝、氧化锆、硅、硅系无机物这样的无机物;月桂酸铝、硬酯酸铝这样的有机物的表面处理剂进行表面处理。如该表面处理剂预先与氧化钛混炼,附着在表面上进行表面处理,则由于提高了氧化钛对热塑性树脂的相溶性,所以可容易地进一步均一分散。氧化钛作为白色顏料,可单独或混合使用市售的各种氧化钛的粉末以及经表面处理的氧化钛的粉末。由于可得到良好的隐蔽力,氧化钛的吸油量更好为15-23g/100g。
该氧化钛可根据用途从市售的公知的氧化钛中适宜选择。可例举如石原产业公司制的氧化钛(TIPAQUE系列、ET系列等)、钛工业公司制的氧化钛(KRONOS系列等)、堺化学公司制的氧化钛、ト一ケムプロダクツ公司制的氧化钛、Tayca公司制的氧化钛。
热塑性树脂是激光透过性良好的热塑性树脂,可例举如聚酰胺树脂、聚乙烯树脂、聚丙烯树脂、聚对苯二甲酸丁二醇酯树脂、聚苯基硫醚树脂、聚醚醚酮树脂、聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯树脂、聚碳酸酯树脂、液晶聚合物、聚苯乙烯树脂、丙烯酸树脂、聚缩醛树脂、聚苯基醚树脂、丙烯腈·苯乙烯共聚树脂、丙烯腈丁二烯·苯乙烯共聚树脂。可单独或混合多种上述树脂作为热塑性树脂使用。另外,热塑性树脂也可是主要含有这些树脂的共聚体或其混合物;在这些树脂中混合橡胶或如橡胶状树脂的弹性体而得的混合物;含有10重量%以上上述树脂的高分子合金。
热塑性树脂更好为聚丙烯树脂及/或聚碳酸酯树脂。
激光透过性树脂组合物由于可使进行激光焊接所需的足够量的激光光束透过,因此也可含有着色剂、填充剂、阻燃剂这样的添加剂。
如果激光透过性树脂组合物不含有氧化钛以外的着色剂,则呈现非常高的白色度,几乎为原白的色调。激光透过性树脂组合物中除氧化钛以外可含有对应于热塑性树脂100重量份为0.01-1.0重量份的呈现黄色、红色、蓝色、绿色、黑色这样的任意色调的激光透过性着色剂。氧化钛呈现的白色与该着色剂的色调混色,使组合物在外观上显现白色系色调。例如如果含有黑色着色剂,则显现灰色样的无彩色的色调,如含有黄色、红色、蓝色、绿色这样的彩色着色剂,则显现淡黄或乳白色、淡红、淡蓝、淡绿这样的被称为pastel color的淡彩色。
作为这样的激光透过性着色剂,可例举公知的偶氮系染顏料、偶氮系含金属染顏料、萘酚偶氮系染顏料、偶氮色淀系染顏料、偶氮甲碱系染顏料、蒽醌系染顏料、喹吖啶酮系染顏料、二嗪系染顏料、二酮基吡咯并吡咯系染顏料、蒽素吡啶酮(アントピリドン)系染顏料、异吲哚啉酮系染顏料、靛蒽醌系染顏料、紫环酮perinone系染顏料、苝系染顏料、靛蓝系染顏料、硫靛蓝系染顏料、喹啉并酞酮染顏料、喹啉系染顏料、苯并咪唑酮系染顏料、三苯甲烷系染顏料等有机染顏料。也可将上述激光透过性着色剂单独或多种混合使用。例如,可使用组合黄色着色剂和蓝色着色剂而形成的绿色着色剂、组合蓝色着色剂和红色着色剂而形成的紫色着色剂、组合黄色着色剂和紫色着色剂而形成的黑色着色剂。
另外,激光透过性着色剂也可是作为母料(master-batch)市售的eBINDLTW-8170C、8012、8620C、8730C、8200、8250C、8300等eBIND LTW系列(均是东方化学工业株式会社的产品的商品名)这样的市售的着色剂母料。
激光透过性树脂组合物也可含有选自滑石、云母、碳酸氢钙、碳酸钙、玻璃纤维、玻璃薄片、玻璃小珠、硅灰石、硫酸钡的至少1种无机填充剂。无机填充剂是提高由组合物成形构件时的成形性和强度的物质。相对于热塑性树脂100重量份,组合物中较好含有5-50重量份的无机填充剂。无机填充剂可以是白色系的填充剂,从激光透过性方面考虑较好为玻璃纤维。玻璃纤维可以是例如纤维长为2-15mm、纤维径为1-20μm的玻璃纤维,例如粗纱、研磨纤维等,可以是任意形状的,可以单独或组合多种使用。
激光透过性树脂组合物中也可含有阻燃剂。阻燃剂可以是有机系阻燃剂和无机系阻燃剂中的任一种,可例举如四溴双酚A衍生物、六溴二苯醚以及四溴邻苯二甲酸酐这样的含卤化合物;磷酸三苯酯、亚磷酸三苯酯、红磷以及聚磷酸铵这样的含磷化合物;尿素以及胍这样的含氮化合物;硅油、有机硅烷以及硅酸铝这样的含硅化合物;三氧化锑以及磷酸锑这样的锑化合物等。其中较好为有机系阻燃剂。相对于热塑性树脂100重量份,组合物中较好含有0.5-10重量份的阻燃剂。
激光透过性树脂组合物中,相对于热塑性树脂100重量份,还可根据用途和目的含有0.1-1.0重量份的助色剂、分散剂、稳定剂、增塑剂、改性剂、紫外线吸收剂、光稳定剂、抗氧化剂、抗静电剂、润滑剂、脱模剂、促结晶剂、晶核剂或者耐冲击性改良用弹性体等作为添加剂。
激光透过性树脂组合物是通过配合由热塑性树脂、氧化钛和根据需要使用的激光透过性着色剂以及上述添加剂组成的原材料,使用搅拌机、捏和机、密闭式混炼机、轧辊、挤压机这样的混合机使其混合、均质化而调制成的粉状物。另外,也可以通过在混合机中混合一部分原材料后,再按顺序加入剩余的成分并使之混合、均质化而调制获得。
激光透过性树脂组合物也可以是在加热的挤压机中熔融混炼、均质化预先干燥混合的原材料之后,将其挤压成金属丝状,再切断成需要的长度,调制成着色粒状的着色颗粒状而获得的组合物。
激光透过性树脂组合物也可以是在滚筒或超级混合机这样的混合机中混合作为热塑性树脂的母料树脂的粉末或颗粒、氧化钛以及根据需要添加的激光透过性着色剂和添加剂,再通过挤压机、分批式混炼机或者轧辊式混炼机进行加热熔融而调制成的颗粒状母料或粗粒子状母料的组合物。另外,也可以是在溶剂中合成的溶液状母料树脂中添加氧化钛以及根据需要添加的激光透过性着色剂和添加剂,再蒸去溶剂而调制成的母料的组合物。
本发明的激光焊接用激光透过性的树脂构件是由激光透过性树脂组合物成形的,且不透明、显现白色、灰色或者淡彩色的白色系色调的构件。
该激光透过性的树脂构件通过例如注入成形、挤压成形、压缩成形、发泡成形、发泡成形、真空成形、注坯吹塑成形、旋转成形、压延成形、溶液涂布等成形机使激光透过性树脂组合物成形为所希望的形状。
该激光透过性的树脂构件显现白色系色调是因为激光透过性树脂组合物是白色系色调的缘故。
该激光透过性的树脂构件的色调可通过使用色差计测定的由L*a*b*表色系表示的L值、a值和b值组成的下式(I)
计算出来,较好为所得的白色度W1至少为80。在该范围时,隐蔽性优良,目视时不能透视,显现漂亮的白色系色调。白色度W1更好为85-95。
该激光透过性的树脂构件对于自半导体激光产生的800nm附近到由YAG激光产生的1100nm附近的波长,即对用于激光焊接的激光光束的波长至少要透过15%。具体地讲,对808nm、840nm、940nm以及1064nm中任一波长的激光光束的透过率较好至少为15%。如未满15%,则由于这些波长的激光光束不能以充分量透过,所以造成激光焊接的强度不充分,或者必须提供额外的激光光束能量。
如参照与实施例对应的图1来说明,则本发明的激光焊接方法是在可至少部分具有激光吸收性的树脂构件2上重叠上述激光透过性的树脂构件1,通过向其照射激光光束3使之热焊接的方法。
可至少部分具有激光吸收性的树脂构件2是在构件的一部分或者整体均等地具有激光吸收性的构件。
可至少部分具有激光吸收性的树脂构件2较好为含有吸收用于激光焊接的激光光束的波长的吸收剂的白色系树脂材料7。
可至少部分具有激光吸收性的树脂构件2,如图2及图3所示,也可以是在白色系树脂材料7上附着了含有吸收用于激光焊接的激光光束的波长的吸收剂的激光光束吸收层8或者9的构件。
该吸收剂,可例举如炭黑、尼格、苯胺黑、酞菁、ナ酞菁、卟啉、花青苷系化合物、苝、quarerrylene、金属配合物、偶氮染料、蒽醌、square acid衍生物、immonium染料等。其中较好为便宜且稳定性高的炭黑或/及尼格。
构成可至少部分具有激光吸收性的树脂构件2的白色系树脂材料7的色调可通过由L*a*b*表色系表示的L值、a值和b值组成的下式(II)
计算出来,所得的白色度W2较好为至少80。白色度W2更好为85-100。
如图2所示,激光光束吸收层8也可以是含有上述吸收剂的树脂膜8。
如图3所示,激光光束吸收层9也可以是涂布了含有上述吸收剂的油墨及/或涂料的涂布层9。
由本发明的激光透过性树脂组合物成形的构件含有具有适宜粒径、密度的氧化钛。因此,无论氧化钛是否具有易反射激光光束的性质,含有氧化钛的白色系的该激光透过性树脂构件在激光焊接时均可使激光光束充分透过,牢固地进行激光焊接。另外,可调制白色、灰色或淡彩色这样的白色度高的任意的白色系色调的激光透过性树脂构件。而且,即使在该构件中含有充填材、着色剂、阻燃剂,也可使进行激光焊接所需的足够光量的激光光束透过。
白色系色调的构件是不透明的,隐蔽性优良。而且,该构件的耐热性、耐光性这样的稳定性高,另外,耐移动性、耐化学物质性也良好。
通过该构件与激光吸收性的树脂构件之间的激光焊接方法,即使是微细且复杂形状的构件之间,也可以具有高气密性地、同时以良好的重现性、足够的强度和良好的原材料利用率简便地进行焊接。由于可以在白色系色调的构件之间进行激光熔接,因此可以根据需要者的喜好,完成外观显现白色系的漂亮色调的各种制品。而且,这种激光焊接方法,不需要使激光光束光源与焊接部位接触,不用暴露于机械的振动等应力中,不产生粉尘等,而且由于是在局部加热而焊接的,所以对周围部分的热影响很小,使焊接完成得很漂亮,用肉眼很难辨认焊接部分。

实施发明的最佳方式
以下,详细说明本发明的焊接实施例。
参考显示激光焊接的实施中的图1来说明激光焊接方法的实施例之一,即由本发明的激光透过性树脂组合物成形的激光透过性的树脂构件1与整体具有激光吸收性的树脂构件2之间的激光焊接。
首先,按照以下方法制造激光透过性的树脂构件1。用混合机均一或者不均一地混合透明的热塑性树脂的颗粒或者粉末、密度为4g/cm3以上且平均粒径为100nm-400nm的氧化钛以及根据需要添加的粉碎的着色剂等添加物来调制激光透过性树脂组合物。通过挤压成形、注入成形、压缩成形等成形方法,使其成形为图1所示的在一端近傍的下面侧缺少一半厚度的阶梯4的呈板状的激光透过性的树脂构件1。
接着,按照以下方法制造整体具有激光吸收性的树脂构件2。用混合机混合热塑性树脂、吸收用于激光焊接的激光光束的波长的吸收剂以及根据需要使用的着色剂等添加剂,通过注入成形或挤压成形这样的成形方法,使其如图1所示,成形为在一端近傍的上侧面缺少一半厚度的阶梯5的呈板状的激光吸收性的树脂构件2。
使用这些构件,按照以下的方法实施激光焊接。
如图1所示,使激光透过性的树脂构件1的阶梯4与激光吸收性的树脂构件2的阶梯5卡合。再自激光透过性的树脂构件1侧的上方照射激光光束3。激光光束3的一部分通过激光透过性的树脂构件1的阶梯4,到达激光吸收性的树脂构件2的阶梯5并被吸收,结果引起放热。利用该热量,在激光光束吸收部位的附近熔融融合透过性的构件1和吸收性的构件2。如将其冷却,就可使透过性的树脂构件1与吸收性的树脂构件2在焊接部分6以充分的强度焊接。
以上说明了图1所示的激光焊接方法,另外,图2所示的也是由本发明的激光透过性树脂组合物成形的激光透过性的树脂构件1与部分具有激光吸收性的树脂构件2的激光焊接方法,其中,树脂构件2由含有激光光束吸收剂的作为树脂膜的激光光束吸收层8形成。
具体地讲,首先与上述同样操作得到激光透过性的树脂构件1。另一方面,用混合机混合热塑性树脂以及根据需要使用的激光光束吸收剂或着色剂等添加剂,利用注入成形或挤压成形这样的成形方法,使其成型为具有阶梯5的板状的白色系树脂材料7。该白色系树脂材料7可以含有激光光束吸收剂或不含,不必特意考虑是否具有激光吸收性。在混合机中混合热塑性树脂、吸收用于激光焊接的激光光束的波长的吸收剂以及根据需要使用的添加剂,利用注入成形或挤压成形这样的成形方法,得到厚度较好为0.1mm以下的作为激光光束吸收层的树脂膜8。使白色系树脂材料7的阶梯5和树脂膜8层压而得的就是部分具有激光吸收性的树脂构件2。作为含炭黑膜而示例的树脂膜8可进一步提高激光光束的吸收効率,且通过树脂膜8使树脂构件1与具有树脂膜8的树脂构件2牢固地焊接。与图1相同,使激光透过性的树脂构件1的阶梯4与具有激光吸收性的树脂构件2的的阶梯5卡合后,经激光光束3的照射,可通过树脂膜8完成焊接。
另外,如图3所示,也可以是通过在白色系树脂材料7的阶梯5上涂布含有激光光束吸收剂的油墨及/或涂料而形成的激光光束吸收层9,使由本发明的激光透过性树脂组合物成形的激光透过性的树脂构件1与部分具有激光吸收性的树脂构件2进行激光焊接的方法。
也可以是在激光透过性的树脂构件1的阶梯4上预先涂布油墨及/或涂料形成激光光束吸收层9后,通过与白色系树脂材料7的阶梯5卡合,形成部分可具有激光吸收性的树脂构件2以及激光吸收性的树脂构件1,进行激光焊接的方法。
涂布油墨或涂料而获得的激光光束吸收层9可简便且确实地固定在树脂构件1或2的表面上,是较薄且具有高激光光束吸收率的层。该涂布可通过喷雾、标记笔、毛刷、笔等的涂布的任意涂布方法实施。油墨或涂料可进一步提高激光光束的吸收効率,且可使树脂构件1与具有树脂膜8的树脂构件2牢固焊接,并被安装在焊接部位6(参考图1)上。油墨或涂料是含有激光光束吸收剂,例如炭黑、苯胺黑、尼格等黑色激光光束吸收色素或蒽醌系、酞菁系、花青苷系、金属络合物等激光光束吸收化合物的组合物。
作为该油墨及/或涂料,较好使用以醇系溶剂或者二元醇系溶剂为主溶剂的油墨及/或涂料。具体地讲,可例举如一元醇(例如乙醇、n-丙醇、异丙醇、n-丁醇、戊醇、苄醇、环己醇以及双丙酮醇这样的醇;乙二醇单甲醚、乙二醇单乙醚、丙二醇单甲醚、丙二醇单乙醚、二甘醇单乙醚、二甘醇单丁醚以及双丙甘醇单乙醚这样的二元醇的烷醚;乙二醇单醋酸酯以及丙二醇单醋酸酯这样的二元醇的醋酸酯等)以及二元醇(例如乙二醇、二甘醇、三甘醇、四甘醇、聚乙二醇、丙二醇以及丁二醇这样的二元醇等)等。
另外,作为该油墨和/或涂料,除不妨碍激光焊接的树脂构件的焊接之外,还可以根据用途和目的,使用溶解性或分散性树脂、着色剂、分散剂、溶解稳定剂、防腐剂、光稳定剂等。
如图2或者图3所示,使用部分可具有激光吸收性的树脂构件2进行激光焊接时,由于激光透过性的树脂构件1隐蔽其激光光束吸收层8或9使之不能被看到,白色系树脂构件1与构成树脂构件2的白色系树脂材料7也可以是同色的。焊接部位附近在色调上没有差异感、很漂亮。可激光焊接适宜、任意的白色系色调的树脂构件1·2。
如图1、图2或者图3所示,部分或整体具有激光吸收性的树脂构件2也可含有与激光透过性的树脂组合物所含相同的热塑性树脂、氧化钛、着色剂或填充剂或阻燃剂这样的添加剂以及根据用途及目的使用的助色剂、分散剂、稳定剂、增塑剂、改性剂、紫外线吸收剂、光稳定剂、抗氧化剂、抗静电剂、润滑剂、脱模剂、促结晶剂、晶核剂、耐冲击性改良用弹性体等。还可以含有激光透过性低的其它添加剂。激光透过性的树脂构件与具有激光吸收性的树脂构件可以是同种树脂,也可以是异种树脂。
以下所示为调制本发明的激光透过性树脂组合物,再使其成形制造作为激光透过性的树脂构件1的试验片的制造例和本发明之外的比较制造例。
(制造例1)激光透过性的树脂构件的试验片A的制造
向不锈钢滚筒内加入聚丙烯树脂1000g(日本ポリケム公司制,商品名:BC05B)和经铝进行表面处理的氧化钛3g(平均粒径为210nm、密度为4.1g/cm3),搅拌混合1小时,调制得激光透过性树脂组合物。使用注入成形机(东洋机械金属公司制,商品名:Si-50),利用烘筒温度220℃、金属模具温度40℃的通常方法使所得组合物注入成形为如图1所示的长边70mm×短边18mm×厚度4mm的板状,且在沿短边的一端的宽为20mm的下面侧具有缺失厚度为2mm的阶梯4的形状,得到无颜色不均的色调均一的白色的、外观以及表面光泽良好的激光透过性的树脂构件1的试验片A。(n1-n2=1.24,n2=1.5)
(制造例2-4)激光透过性的树脂构件的试验片B-D的制造
在制造例2中使用相同的氧化钛6g、制造例3中使用经铝·硅进行表面处理的氧化钛3g(平均粒径为250nm、密度为4.0g/cm3)、制造例4使用未处理的氧化钛3g(平均粒径为270nm、密度为4.2g/cm3)来代替制造例1中使用的氧化钛,除此之外与制造例1相同操作成形,得到无颜色不均的色调均一的白色的外观以及表面光泽良好的激光透过性的树脂构件1的试验片B、试验片C以及试验片D。
(比较制造例1)激光透过性的树脂构件的比较试验片A
向不锈钢滚筒内加入聚丙烯树脂1000g(日本ポリケム公司制,商品名:BC05B)和氧化钛0.7g(经铝表面处理的氧化钛,平均粒径为210nm,密度为4.1g/cm3),搅拌混合1小时,调制得比较例组合物。使用注入成形机(东洋机械金属公司制,商品名:Si-50),利用烘筒温度220℃、金属模具温度40℃的通常方法,使所得的组合物如图1所示,注入成形为长边70mm×短边18mm×厚度4mm的板状,且沿短边的一端的宽为20mm的下面侧具有缺失厚度为2mm的形状,得到激光透过性的树脂构件的比较试验片A。
(比较制造例2)激光透过性的树脂构件的比较试验片B
除使用与比较制造例1相同的氧化钛48g之外,其它与比较制造例1同样操作成形,得到白色的激光透过性的树脂构件的比较试验片B。
(比较制造例3)激光透过性的树脂构件的比较试验片C
除使用未处理的氧化钛24g(密度4.0g/cm3,平均粒径15nm)来代替比较制造例1的氧化钛之外,其它与比较制造例1同样操作成形,得到白色的激光透过性的树脂构件的比较试验片C。
(比较制造例4)激光透过性的树脂构件的比较试验片D
除使用未处理的氧化钛24g(密度3.9g/cm3,平均粒径180nm)来代替比较制造例1的氧化钛之外,其它与比较制造例1相同操作成形,得到白色的激光透过性的树脂构件的比较试验片D。
对于由上述制造例所得的激光吸收性树脂构件的试验片以及由比较制造例所得的比较试验片,按照以下方法进行透过率测定试验、白色度测定试验以及色调观察试验来评价它们的物理特性。
(透过率测定试验)
在分光光度计(日本分光公司制,商品名:V-570型)上分别安装试验片或者比较试验片,向各试验片所具有的厚度为2mm的阶梯4部位(参考图1)照射400-1200nm范围内的波长λ,测定其透过率。其中,波长808nm的半导体激光光束的透过率示于表1。
(白色度测定试验)
使用色差计(JUKI公司制,商品名:JP7000)对试验片或比较试验片各自具有的厚度为2mm的阶梯4的部位(参考图1)测定L*a*b*表色系所示的L值、a值和b值,通过下式(I)
来计算白色度W1。结果示于表1。
(色调观察试验)
对于制造例的试验片以及比较制造例的比较试验片,通过目视观察色调。其结果示于表1。

向不锈钢滚筒内加入聚丙烯树脂400g(日本ポリケム公司制,商品名:BC05B)和尼格0.5g(东方化学工业株式会社制,商品名:尼格色基油溶EX)和炭黑0.3g(三菱化学公司制,商品名:CB960),搅拌混合1小时。使用注入成形机(东洋机械金属公司制,商品名:Si-50),利用烘筒温度220℃、金属模具温度40℃的通常方法,使所得的混合物注入成形为如图1所示的构件2这样的长边70mm×短边18mm×厚度4mm的板状,且在沿短边一端的宽度为20mm的上面侧具有缺失厚度为2mm的阶梯5的形状,得到无颜色不均的色调均一的、外观以及表面光泽均良好的黑色激光吸收性的树脂构件2的透过率为0%的试验片M。
制造例16-20是制造激光吸收性的树脂构件2的试验片N-R的示例,该构件2具有含炭黑的作为树脂膜的激光光束吸收层8。
(制造例16-20)激光吸收性的树脂构件的试验片N-R的制造
向不锈钢制滚筒中加入聚丙烯树脂400g(日本ポリケム公司制,商品名:BC05B)和炭黑0.8g(三菱化学公司制,商品名:CB960),搅拌混合1小时。使用具有用于薄树脂膜状物的金属模具的挤压成形机(东洋机械金属公司制,商品名:Si-50),通过烘筒温度为220℃、金属模具温度为40℃的通常方法,将所得的混合物制成含炭黑的树脂膜。
通过使含炭黑的树脂膜组合在由上述制造例所得的试验片的阶梯5(参考图2)上,得到激光吸收性的树脂构件2的试验片。
得到以下组合的试验片作为激光吸收性的树脂构件。
制造例16的试验片N是由含炭黑的树脂膜和作为树脂构件而得的试验片a组合而得的试验片。
制造例17的试验片O是由含炭黑的树脂膜和作为树脂构件而得的试验片b组合而得的试验片。
制造例18的试验片P是由含炭黑的树脂膜和作为激光透过性的树脂构件而得的试验片E组合而得的试验片。
制造例19的试验片Q是由含炭黑的树脂膜和作为激光透过性的树脂构件而得的试验片I组合而得的试验片。
制造例20的试验片R是由含炭黑的树脂膜和作为激光透过性的树脂构件而得的试验片F组合而得的试验片。
制造例21-25是调制含有激光光束吸收剂的醇性标记笔用油墨并将其涂布在上述试验片R上,来制造附有激光光束吸收层9的激光吸收性的树脂构件2的试验片S-W的示例。

酮树脂 …10份
通过使上述掺合物在40℃均一混合来调制油墨。使用低温/高温器(商品名:INCUBATOR,三洋电机公司制)进行该油墨的经时稳定性试验,结果显示,即使保存3个月后也没有发现染料的析出以及油墨组合物的增粘。在市售的标记用笔中填入该油墨,在树脂构件用的试验片的阶梯5(参考图3)上涂布,得到漂亮均一的附有激光光束吸收层9的激光吸收性的树脂构件2的试验片。
制造例21的试验片S是在作为树脂构件而得的试验片a上涂布上述标记油墨而得的试验片。
制造例22的试验片T是在作为树脂构件而得的试验片b上涂布上述标记油墨而得的试验片。
制造例23的试验片U是在作为激光透过性的树脂构件而得的试验片A上涂布上述标记油墨而得的试验片。
制造例24的试验片V是在作为激光透过性的树脂构件而得的试验片I上涂布上述标记油墨而得的试验片。
制造例25的试验片W是在作为激光透过性的树脂构件而得的试验片G上涂布上述标记油墨而得的试验片。
制造例26的试验片X是在作为激光透过性的树脂构件而得的试验片K上涂布上述标记油墨而得的试验片。
对由上述制造例所得的激光吸收性树脂构件的试验片,与上述同样进行透过率测定试验、计算白色度W2的白色度测定试验以及色调观察试验,藉此来评价物理特性。结果示于表7。

接着,使用由上述制造例以及比较制造例所得的激光透过性的树脂构件的试验片·比较试验片和激光吸收性树脂构件的试验片,按照以下方法进行激光焊接试验,进行抗拉强度测定试验来评价焊接性。
通过表8中所述的激光透过性的树脂构件的试验片·比较试验片与激光吸收性树脂构件的试验片的组合,进行激光焊接。
如图1所示,使激光吸收性树脂构件2的试验片的阶梯5与激光透过性的树脂构件1的试验片·比较试验片的阶梯4卡合重叠。使用输出功率为30W的二极管·激光(フアインデバイス公司制),使波长为840nm的连续激光束3自试验片1的上方一边按照箭头方向以750mm/分的扫描速度扫描,一边照射于重叠的部位。透过激光透过性的树脂构件1的试验片·比较试验片的激光光束3被激光吸收性树脂构件2的试验片吸收并使之放热。该热量在部位6的附近,通过使激光透过性的树脂构件1的试验片·比较试验片与激光吸收性树脂构件2的试验片熔融融合、焊接,得到焊接物。
(抗拉强度测定试验)
对于所得的焊接物,使用拉力试验机(岛津制作所株式会社制AG-50kNE),按照JIS K7113-1995,进行在牵拉方向以10mm/分的速度牵拉激光透过性的树脂构件1的试验片·比较试验片和激光吸收性的树脂构件2的试验片的抗拉焊接强度测定试验。抗拉焊接强度示于表8。
(焊接性评价)
目视判断激光焊接的接合部分的截面。用2个等级,即,在激光光束扫描部分中均一焊接的记为○、在激光光束扫描部分中有焊接不均的记为×来评价。结果示于表8。

由表1-8可知,由于是白色系色调,且激光光束的透过性良好,所以使用本发明的制造例的激光透过性的树脂构件的实施例的激光焊接可实现牢固地焊接。另一方面,由于白色度低且激光光束的透过率低,所以使用了比较制造例的构件的比较例的激光焊接不能以足够的强度完成焊接。
产业上利用的可能性
本发明的激光透过性树脂组合物适用于作为需避免振动、热的要求精密接合的精密机械·电子零部件·电化制品·医疗器械·日用品等白色系制品的热塑性树脂制外壳这样的构件的原材料。
Claims (28)
1.激光焊接用激光透过性树脂组合物,其特征在于,含有热塑性树脂100重量份以及密度至少为4g/cm3、且平均粒径为100nm-400nm的氧化钛0.01-3重量份,所述组合物显现白色、灰色或淡彩色的白色系色调。
2.如权利要求1所述的激光透过性树脂组合物,其特征还在于,上述氧化钛的折射率n1以及上述热塑性树脂的折射率n2满足下式(1)以及(2)
n1-n2≥1.0 …(1)
1.4<n2<1.7 …(2)。
3.如权利要求1所述的激光透过性树脂组合物,其特征还在于,上述热塑性树脂是聚丙烯树脂及/或聚碳酸酯树脂。
4.如权利要求1所述的激光透过性树脂组合物,其特征还在于,相对于上述热塑性树脂100重量份,含有0.01-1重量份的激光透过性着色剂。
5.如权利要求1所述的激光透过性树脂组合物,其特征还在于,含有选自滑石、云母、碳酸氢钙、碳酸钙、玻璃纤维、玻璃薄片、玻璃小珠、硅灰石、硫酸钡中的至少1种的无机填充剂。
6.如权利要求1所述的激光透过性树脂组合物,其特征还在于,含有有机系阻燃剂。
7.激光焊接用激光透过性的树脂构件,其特征在于,由含有热塑性树脂100重量份以及密度至少为4g/cm3且平均粒径为100nm-400nm的氧化钛0.01-3重量份,显现白色、灰色或者淡彩色的白色系的色调的激光焊接用激光透过性树脂组合物成形而得;所述构件是不透明的,且显现白色、灰色或者淡彩色的白色系色调。
8.如权利要求7所述的激光透过性的树脂构件,其特征还在于,上述氧化钛的折射率n1与上述热塑性树脂的折射率n2满足下式(1)以及(2)
n1-n2≥1.0 …(1)
1.4<n2<1.7 …(2)。
9.如权利要求7所述的激光透过性的树脂构件,其特征还在于,上述热塑性树脂是聚丙烯树脂及/或聚碳酸酯树脂。
10.如权利要求7所述的激光透过性的树脂构件,其特征还在于,上述激光透过性树脂组合物中,相对于上述热塑性树脂100重量份,含有0.01-1重量份的激光透过性着色剂。
11.如权利要求7所述的激光透过性的树脂构件,其特征还在于,上述激光透过性树脂组合物中含有选自滑石、云母、碳酸氢钙、碳酸钙、玻璃纤维、玻璃薄片、玻璃小珠、硅灰石、硫酸钡的至少1种的无机填充剂。
12.如权利要求7所述的激光透过性的树脂构件,其特征还在于,上述激光透过性树脂组合物中含有有机系阻燃剂。
13.如权利要求7所述的激光透过性的树脂构件,其特征还在于,上述色调由L*a*b*表色系所示的L值、a值以及b值组成的下式(I)
计算所得的白色度W1表示至少为80。
14.如权利要求7所述的激光透过性的树脂构件,其特征还在于,激光光束透过率至少为15%。
15.激光焊接方法,其特征在于,使激光焊接用激光透过性的树脂构件与可至少部分具有激光吸收性的树脂构件重叠,通过向其照射激光光束使之热焊接,所述激光透过性的树脂构件由含有热塑性树脂100重量份以及密度至少为4g/cm3且平均粒径为100nm-400nm的氧化钛0.01-3重量份、显现白色、灰色或者淡彩色的白色系色调的激光焊接用激光透过性树脂组合物成形而得的,该构件不透明且显现白色、灰色或淡彩色的白色系色调。
16.如权利要求15所述的激光焊接方法,其特征还在于,上述氧化钛的折射率n1以及上述热塑性树脂的折射率n2满足下式(1)以及(2)

1.4<n2<1.7 …(2)。
17.如权利要求15所述的激光焊接方法,其特征还在于,上述热塑性树脂是聚丙烯树脂及/或聚碳酸酯树脂。
18.如权利要求15所述的激光焊接方法,其特征还在于,上述激光透过性树脂组合物中,相对于上述热塑性树脂100重量份,含有0.01-1重量份的激光透过性着色剂。
19.如权利要求15所述的激光焊接方法,其特征还在于,上述激光透过性树脂组合物中含有选自滑石、云母、碳酸氢钙、碳酸钙、玻璃纤维、玻璃薄片、玻璃小珠、硅灰石、硫酸钡的至少1种的无机填充剂。
20.如权利要求15所述的激光焊接方法,其特征还在于,上述激光透过性树脂组合物中含有有机系阻燃剂。
21.如权利要求15所述的激光焊接方法,其特征还在于,上述激光透过性的树脂构件是上述色调由L*a*b*表色系所示的L值、a值以及b值组成的下式(I)
计算而得的白色度W1表示至少为80的构件。
22.如权利要求15所述的激光焊接方法,其特征还在于,上述激光透过性的树脂构件是激光光束透过率至少为15%的构件。
23.如权利要求15所述的激光焊接方法,其特征还在于,上述可至少部分具有激光吸收性的树脂构件是含有至少吸收800-1200nm的波长范围中的一部分的激光光束的吸收剂的白色系树脂材料。
24.如权利要求23所述的激光焊接方法,其特征还在于,上述可至少部分具有激光吸收性的树脂构件是在上述白色系树脂材料附着了含有至少吸收800-1200nm的波长范围中的一部分激光光束的吸收剂的激光光束吸收层的构件。
25.如权利要求23所述的激光焊接方法,其特征还在于,上述激光光束的吸收剂是炭黑及/或尼格。
26.如权利要求23所述的激光焊接方法,其特征还在于,上述白色系树脂是其色调由L*a*b*表色系所示的L值、a值以及b值组成的下式(II)
计算出的白色度W2表示至少为80的树脂。
27.如权利要求24所述的激光焊接方法,其特征还在于,上述激光光束吸收层是含有上述激光光束的吸收剂的树脂膜。
28.如权利要求24所述的激光焊接方法,其特征还在于,上述激光光束吸收层是涂布了含有上述激光光束的吸收剂的油墨及/或涂料而得的涂布层。
