发明背景

发明概要
本发明提供了一种用于为卫生保健组织自动地生成性能测定信息的技术。
在本发明的各种实施例中,提供了一种方法,所述方法包括根据指定的性能测定分类来公式化查询。然后,执行此查询以便获得性能测定信息。所获得的性能测定信息中至少一些可以从非结构化的数据源中导出,诸如自由文本医师注释。
可以输出所述性能测定信息。可以将所述性能测定信息发送到保健鉴定组织。卫生保健鉴定组织的例子是鉴定卫生保健组织联合委员会(JCAHO)。

在步骤402中,根据所选择的性能测定分类来公式化查询。(这可能涉及到公式化诸如图3中所示查询的查询)。可以公式化所述查询以便选择该性能测定分类的所有病人,或者仅仅选择他们的样本。可以将特定样本大小作为一个参数值输入。
在步骤402中,执行所述查询以获得性能测定信息。至少一些获得的性能测定信息可能已经从非结构化的信息中导出。优选的是,此信息驻留在结构化的数据储存库中,所述结构化的数据储存库使用挖掘的非结构化的病人信息填充,如在Rao等人一并提出的、序号为10/ .__(代理人编号为2001P20906US01)、题为“Patient DataMining(病人数据挖掘)”的共同待审的美国专利所描述的那样。

Claims (22)
1.一种用于为卫生保健组织自动地生成性能测定信息的方法,包括以下步骤:
根据一个指定的性能测定分类来公式化查询;以及
执行所述查询以便获得性能测定信息,所获得的性能测定信息中的至少一些是从挖掘的数据源中获得的。
2.如权利要求1所述的方法,还包括输出所获得的性能测定信息的步骤。
3.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中所获得的性能测定信息包括正被评估的卫生保健提供商的病人信息。
4.如权利要求3所述的方法,其中所述病人信息包括临床信息、财务信息以及人口统计信息的至少一个。
5.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中所述性能测定分类包括急性心肌梗塞、心力衰竭、肺炎以及妊娠中的一个或多个。
