Abstract
根据本发明的实施例所述的前轮驱动汽车的内轴轴承的示例性密封结构包括一内轴,其将差速器与一根驱动轴连接起来,以达到左轮驱动轴与右轮驱动轴的平衡;一内轴轴承,其安装在该内轴上,且用内部密封件密封;一托座,其与该车车体连接且安装在内轴轴承圆周上,用于支撑该内轴;第一防尘盖,其插入该内轴,以封住该托座的一端;及第二防尘盖,其插入该驱动轴,以封住该托座的另一端。
Description
技术领域
本发明关于内轴轴承的密封结构,尤其是关于防止快速磨损的内轴轴承的密封结构。
背景技术
传统的前轮驱动(front wheel drive)汽车一般有二根驱动轴(driveshaft),每根与变速器及前轮相连,以便从该变速器输出的驱动力可传递到前轮。
如图1所示,左轮14a与左轮驱动轴12a相连接,而右轮14b与右轮驱动轴12b连接。
该左轮驱动轴12a直接连接差速器17,而该右轮驱动轴12b通过内轴20与差速器17b相连。
具体地说,该内轴20由支撑件18安装到该车车体上,以便连接差速器17和该右轮驱动轴12b,从而使该左轮驱动轴12a驱动的该左轮14a,与该右驱动轴12b驱动的该右轮14b能够达到平衡。
如图2及图3所示,为了防止水汽及灰尘渗透内轴轴承24中,支撑该内轴20的该内轴轴承24用密封结构密封。
该内轴轴承24的两端用内部密封件(inner seal member)26密封,支撑该内轴轴承24的托座22的两端分别用橡胶制成的第一组密封件28a和第二组密封件28b密封。
此外,在该第一组密封件和该第二组密封件28a、28b外侧分别提供第一防尘盖30a和第二防尘盖30b。
该第一组密封件28a与该第一防尘盖30b的间隙,及第二组密封件28b与该第二防尘盖20b的间隙充填润滑油。
该第一防尘盖30a和该第二防尘盖30b是用有规定强度的钢制造的,而组装到车体上的辅助罩(auxilliary cover)32则用来包住该托座(bracket)22及该防尘盖30a、30b,增强密封结构的密封性。
但是,传统的该内轴轴承密封结构是由四部分组成的,因此结构复杂,组装时间相对较长。
此外,在驱动该内轴时,该内轴轴承散发热量,使该第一组密封和该第二组密封件密封的托座内部的压力升高,于是,该第一组密封和该第二组密封件向外膨胀,因此润滑油可能从中漏出。
发明概述
本发明的目的是解决上述问题,因而所提供的前轮驱动汽车的内轴轴承的密封结构具有用简单的结构达到有效密封内轴轴承的极大优点。
根据本发明实施例所述的前轮驱动汽车的内轴轴承的示例性密封结构包括:内轴,其将差速器与驱动轴之一连接起来,以达到左轮驱动轴和右轮驱动轴的平衡,该内轴轴承,其装配在该内轴上且用内部密封件密封;托座,其连接在该车车体上,并装在该内轴轴承的圆周(circumference)上,以支撑该内轴;第一防尘盖,其插入该内轴,用于封住该托座一端;及第二防尘盖,其插入该驱动轴,以封住该托座的另一端。
该托座的两端优选具有凹下部分,而该防尘盖有凸起部分,这样,凹下部分便可接纳凸起部分。
该第一防尘盖和该第二防尘盖优选呈台阶形与该托座相配,以使此两防尘盖分别包围住该托座的该两端部。
在另一实施例中,内轴轴承的该密封结构还包括辅助罩,其被装在车体上,用于包住所述托座及所述防尘盖。

具体实施方式
以下参照附图详细说明本发明实施例
图4为按照本发明的一个实施例的前轮驱动汽车的驱动系统结构示意图。
如图4所示,该驱动系统包括发动机50,连到该发动机50输出侧的变速器55,及与该变速器55的该输出侧相连的差速器57。
左轮64a的左轮驱动轴62a直接与该差速器57连接,而右轮64b的右轮驱动轴62b借助内轴70与该差速器57连接。该左轮驱动轴62a和该右轮驱动轴62b都由该发动机50产生的驱动力驱动。
图5为根据本发明的一个实施例的内轴轴承密封结构的局部剖视图。
图6为图5中圈划部分“B”的细节图。
如图5及图6所示,该内轴70通过支撑件68安装在该汽车上,以便将该差速器57和该右轮驱动轴62b连接起来。该内轴70用于使该左轮驱动轴62a驱动的该左轮64a,与该右轮驱动轴62b驱动的该右轮64b之间达到平衡。内轴轴承74安装在该内轴70的圆周上,并且,该内轴70的端部与该右轮驱动轴62b的端缘(lip)63a连接。
该内轴轴承74的该圆周固定在托座72内,因此该内轴70由该托座72支撑,该托座72固定在该车车体上。该内轴轴承74的两端均有内部密封件76,用于防止水汽或灰尘渗透到该内轴轴承74中,从而防止轴承滚珠74a发生磨损与腐蚀。此外第一防尘盖80a插入该内轴70并封住所述托座72的一端,第二防尘盖80b插入该内轴70并封住该托座72的另一端。
该第一防尘盖80a和该第二防尘盖80b加工成具有与该托座72相配的内向台阶(inward step)的形状,使所述防尘盖80a、80b分别包围住该托座72的端部。所述防尘盖80a、80b与该托座72之间的距离设定在1mm左右,以使该内轴轴承74所放出的热量可从中排出。
此外,该托座72的两端皆有凹下部分73,而该第一防尘盖80a和该第二防尘盖80b都有凸起部分83,这样,凹下部分73可接纳凸起部分83。
因此,防止了水汽和灰尘渗透到该托座72中。
另外,辅助罩82可装在该车车体上,用于包封住该托座72和防尘盖80a、80b,以增强该密封结构的密封性。
根据本发明的该密封结构,该内轴轴承的密封能更有效地形成,并且,能使该内轴轴承的该密封结构比传统的密封结构更简单。
Claims (4)
1、一种前轮驱动汽车的内轴轴承的密封结构,包括:
内轴,其使差速器与一根驱动轴连接起来,以便平衡左轮驱动轴和右轮驱动轴;
内轴轴承,其组装在该内轴上且用内部密封件密封;
托座,其连接在该车车体上且固定在该内轴轴承圆周上,以支撑该内轴;
第一防尘盖,其插入该内轴,用于封住该托座一端;及
第二防尘盖,其插入该驱动轴,用于封住该托座另一端。
2、根据权利要求1所述的密封结构,其中该托座两端的每一端有凹下部分,而每一个防尘盖均有凸起部分,以便凹下部分可接纳凸起部分。
3、根据权利要求1所述的密封结构,其中该第一防尘盖和该第二防尘盖呈台阶形与该托座相配,以使该防尘盖分别包围住该托座的两端部。
4、根据权利要求2所述的密封结构,还包括辅助罩,该罩装在该车车体上,用于包围住该托座及该防尘盖。
