本发明涉及一种造纸机用织物或造纸机线,特别是用于双压区原料稠化装置的造纸机用织物。
背景技术
在造纸工业中,有一种用于稠化纸浆和造纸原料的设备。早期的这种装置通常称为浓缩脱水机(decker)。这些早期的装置包括使用圆柱模,该圆柱模包括一个在一桶液体中旋转的多孔圆柱模,其中液体中具有受控输入的浆液。水可通过圆柱模排出,从而稠化将被排出的剩余浆液。这种类型装置的例子可参见号为4,106,980的美国专利。
其后对传统稠化机的改进可参见号为4,722,793的美国专利。该专利描述了一种不使用圆柱模的装置。其采用一对表面光滑的辊子和围绕在那些辊子周围的一种单面织物,从而使织物基本上包围每个辊子表面的180°。首先将待稠化的纸浆原料传送到织物的内侧,其中织物靠近一个辊子的顶部运行,这样纸浆就被收集在织物与辊子之间,并与织物一起围绕辊子运行。离心力使得液体从收集在织物与辊子之间的纸浆通过织物压榨出来。
然后,得到的部分脱水的纸浆运行到下方的织物,该织物向另一个辊子运行,在该织物上纸浆同样受到离心力的作用,该离心力进一步使得液体通过织物压榨出来。围绕两个辊子表面运行之后,将纸浆从第二个辊子的表面上去除。
为将织物引导进入垂直于两个辊子轴线的路径中,沿织物底面的一个或两个边缘设置一条V形带形状的材料或引导件。该引导件将与每个辊子中的外围槽吻合。
该带与织物是分开的,并机械连接在织物上。但是,由于该装置的高速运行,很难使该引导件保持在织物上。
作为对这种装置的改进,在号为5,039,412的美国专利中,将V形带引导件缝在织物上,并在织物上的缝合区域设置粘结剂带。施加的粘结剂从织物的内侧向里延伸一段短的距离。而且,引导件设置在织物的外边缘,从而它们定位在辊子的外面,而不是辊子内的一个或多个槽内。
尽管这种设计通过强化其边缘并支撑V形带引导件,而相对早期的设计有所改进,但是据发现,织物在粘结剂终止区失效。在操作过程中,边缘(带有引导件)似乎发生弹跳。这会导致织物的挠曲,这种挠曲在从织物边缘到主体的过渡区域上集中。这种失效通常会导致边缘(带有引导件)从织物的主体上分开。
发明概述
因此,本发明的主要目的在于提供一种造纸机用织物,其以提高织物寿命的方式强化其边缘。
本发明的另一目的在于以一种容易实施并经济的方式提供这种强化。
本发明的另一目的在于提供对用于造纸机纸浆稠化设备上的织物的强化。
本发明以下述的方式实现这些目的和优点。在造纸机用织物边缘承受应力的情况中,在织物的一侧或两侧施加强化或保护涂层。更具体地是,应力时常位于织物上的主要区域。例如,对于上述用于稠化装置的织物,应力分布在织物的边缘或边缘区域与主体之间的过渡区域,并通常使织物的长度平行于边缘。本发明设想一种强化涂层,其延伸出边缘与主体间的过渡部分之外。这种附加量的涂层随其延伸到主体中的程度而变化。而且,其以一系列曲线、圆部分或其它突起的形式终止。这使得应力(或过渡区域的挠曲)分布在更大的面积上,从而减小或最小化织物的边缘相对于主体的铰拧或绕枢轴旋转效应。

优选实施方式详述
现更详细地参考附图,在图1中,为说明的目的,示出带有环圈机织物12的纸浆或原料稠化设备10的一部分。该设备和织物在号为5,039,412的美国专利中示出并描述,该专利在此被并入以作为参考。注意,示出的织物12为工业中称为(Thermo)Black Clawson Dual NipThicker Fabric的织物。为描述本发明,将简要描述上述专利中的布置,因为本发明尤其适用于这种应用中。
有槽辊16通常为两个中的一个,织物12围绕其运行。织物12可为单层或多层的设计,通常由塑料或聚合物材料例如聚酯制成。织物12包括主体部分18和边缘或边缘部分20。主体18与边缘部分20之间有相应的过渡点22。相应的V形带引导件24机械地附加在边缘部分20的下侧或底面。前文已经说过,除了将引导件24缝合在边缘部分20上,外边缘还在一个约1.5英寸宽的带上浸渍了尿烷粘结剂26。该引导件24将位于辊子16的外侧上。

图3中示出位于辊子16’上的织物12’,该织物具有边缘部分20’,边缘部分与主体部分18’在过渡点22’分离,过渡点22’平行于边缘部分20’的端部。这种失效发生后,就要关闭机器,并用新织物代替旧的。很明显,这对于生产是不利的,因此织物经久耐用是非常重要的。
现参照图4A-4C,其中示出织物12’的顶面,织物12’具有主体部分18’和边缘部分20’。虚线22’表示它们之间的过渡点。线24’表示V形带引导件,该引导件可用任何适用于该目的的手段附加到边缘部分20’的底面。
织物12’的一个或两个表面(顶面和底面)上且在每个边缘部分20’上,设置有保护或强化涂层26’。涂层26’可为聚合物材料或适用于该目的的任意其它材料。尽管被称为涂层,其实际上浸透在织物上,将织纹固定在一定位置。如从图4A-4C中可见,涂层26’延伸到过渡点22’之外,并延伸到主体18’的一部分中,在该部分上,涂层以使涂层26’具有波形终端的一系列的曲线(图4A)、圆部分(图4B)或其它突起(图4C)的形式终止。这种形式的布置遍布织物12’的整个边缘部分20’。通常,边缘部分20’的宽度为约2英寸。通过这种波形的布置,涂层26’不仅覆盖边缘部分20’,而且进一步延伸(横跨机向)到主体18’内约1.5-2.0英寸。如前所述的涂层26’可位于织物12’的相对侧(顶侧和底侧)上。另外,一侧的图案不必与另一侧相同,或甚至不需要对齐。例如,如果采用曲线图案,顶面在一个位置可能具有曲线,底面的曲线与顶面的曲线错开。因此,底面的曲线可能位于顶面上曲线形成的波谷中,或者相反。
无论如何,不论采用哪种图案,使涂层26’延伸到主体18’中的目的和效果都是防止织物在过渡点挠曲,从而将边缘区域相对于主体的铰拧和旋转降低到最小程度。通过该布置,过渡点的挠曲被逐渐分布到更大的面积上,从而延缓开始疲劳的时间以及织物的最终疲劳化时间。
应注意:本发明尤其适用于前文描述的用于纸浆稠化机上的织物类型。但是,应看到其也适用于造纸以及其它工业中使用的其它类型的织物,在这些工业中,断裂带的力分布是必要的或需要的结果。
因此,通过本发明,其目的和优点都得以实现,尽管此处对优选实施方案进行公开和描述,但其范围和目的不应仅限于此;相反,其范围应由所附权利要求的范围限定。

Claims (12)

1.一种造纸用织物,包括:
纺织主体,具有位于该主体相对两侧上的相应边缘部分;
所述主体和边缘部分具有顶面和底面;
所述相应边缘部分与所述主体之间的相应过渡点,其承受屈曲;
位于所述顶面或底面上的强化涂层;和
所述涂层从至少一个所述边缘部分延伸,越过所述过渡点到达主体一部分上。
2.根据权利要求1所述的织物,其中所述的涂层分别从两个所述边缘部分延伸,越过所述过渡点到达主体的一部分上。
3.根据权利要求2所述的织物,其中所述涂层位于所述顶面和所述底面上。
4.根据权利要求2所述的织物,其中所述主体上的所述涂层具有这样的图案,即其以距离过渡点不同的距离延伸到主体的一部分上,并以曲线、半园或其它突起的形状终止。
5.根据权利要求3所述的织物,其中所述主体上的所述涂层具有这样的图案,即其以距离过渡点不同的距离延伸到主体的一部分上,并以曲线、半园或其它突起的形状终止。
6.根据权利要求4所述的织物,其中顶面上的图案不与底面上的图案相对齐。
7.根据权利要求5所述的织物,其中顶面上的图案不与底面上的图案相对齐。
8.根据权利要求1所述的织物,其中所述涂层是聚合物材料,并用于在过渡点的两侧和横跨过渡点的区域强化织物。
9.根据权利要求2所述的织物,其中所述涂层是聚合物材料,并用于在过渡点的两侧和横跨过渡点的区域强化织物。
10.根据权利要求3所述的织物,其中所述涂层是聚合物材料,并用于在过渡点的两侧和横跨过渡点的区域强化织物。
11.根据权利要求9所述的织物,其包括附加到边缘部分底面上的相应的引导件。
12.根据权利要求11所述的织物,其中所述织物用于造纸机纸浆稠化装置。
