用在本发明的组合物中的合适的溶剂是现有技术中已知的。有机溶剂是适合的,包括醇(例如,甲醇,乙醇,丙醇,丁醇),酮(例如,丙酮、甲乙酮,甲丁酮,环己酮),酯(例如,乙酸丁酯),和它们的混合物。然而,对于涂料组合物来说,优选的溶剂是烃类溶剂,特别是矿油精,因为它们的高蒸发速率和低芳族化合物含量。特别优选的矿油精是含有C11-C16的正、异和环烷烃的矿油精。
本发明的涂料组合物还包括在溶剂中的粘合剂和腐蚀抑制剂,优选金属磷酸盐防腐蚀添加剂,润滑剂和增稠剂。优选,组合物的固含量包括50-80重量%,更优选65~80重量%的腐蚀抑制剂;9~18重量%,更优选11~16重量%的粘合剂;最多33重量%,更优选5~20重量%的金属磷酸盐;最多8重量%,更优选1.5~4.5重量%的润滑剂;和最多4重量%,更优选1~3重量%的增稠剂。
本发明的涂料组合物可通过使用常用的设备将它的组分混合到一起来制备,优选通过首先共混一部分溶剂和粘合剂,然后加入腐蚀抑制剂,最后加入剩余的溶剂。
本发明的涂料组合物可以通过任何常用的涂布技术,涂布到表面上,例如刷子、旋转浸涂和喷涂(例如通过气溶胶罐)。其它普通的涂布方法包括喷涂筒(spraying drum)、离心机、静电涂布或自动喷涂、印刷和辊涂。所选择的涂布方法有赖于将要被涂布的物品的形状、尺寸、重量和质量。优选,涂布2、3或更多涂层。涂层厚度影响到所得的涂层的寿命和性能,应当高于表面粗糙度,典型地厚度为5~25μm。一旦表面用该组合物涂布,干燥表面以蒸发掉溶剂,并固化涂层。涂料组合物可通过,例如在200℃下加热10分钟来固化。
本发明的涂料组合物可以单独使用或和其它市购抗磨或防腐蚀涂料结合使用。优选的可以和本发明的组合物结合使用的市购抗磨涂料有下面的组合物(重量百分含量),并且它在下文中被称为“表层涂层A”:
20~25重量%润滑剂-酚醛树脂、环氧树脂和乙烯基丁醛树脂和PTFE的混合物。
70~75重量%溶剂-甲乙酮、甲基异丁基酮和环己酮的混合物。
本发明的涂料组合物可以和无金属粒子的表层涂层(下文中称为表层涂层B)结合使用,该表层涂层包括上述的硅酸酯和上述的有机钛酸酯。该表层涂层可以任选包括用于本发明涂料组合物的上述任何一种除金属(即锌和铝)粒子外的其它组分。该表层涂层记载在共同未决的专利申请GB0110627.7中。
特别优选的涂层的结合包括:
1)1,2或3层本发明组合物的涂层;
2)1,2或3层本发明组合物的涂层,然后是1到3层表层涂层B的涂层;
3)1或2层本发明组合物的涂层,然后是1、2或3层表层涂层A的涂层。
其它的可能性是结合所有三种涂层,即1或2层本发明组合物的涂层,紧接着是1、2或3层表层涂层A的涂层,最后是1到3层表层涂层B的涂层,然而这种结合是非常不可能被应用,只是因为成本的原因。
在用本发明的涂料组合物涂布前,基质被预先处理,以改进粘合性和所得的保护涂层的寿命。预处理的传统的方法包括脱脂(例如,用溶剂或气流),通过酸或碱进行腐蚀过的表面的处理,磷酸化,不锈钢的草酸处理,喷沙处理和阳极氧化。
根据本发明的涂料组合物于是可用于给有被腐蚀倾向的金属,如铁或钢提供保护性涂层。在基质上,保护性涂层的提供将导致高的耐腐蚀性、阴极保护,和当使用润滑剂时,提供给制品如汽车零件终身的润滑作用,具有确定的或恒定不变的摩擦系数,汽车部件如:
螺帽、螺栓和其它紧固部件、门、阀盖和后行李箱锁部件、铰链、制门器、窗玻璃导轨、座椅固定带元件、制动盘和制动鼓,以及其它交通工业涉及到的部件。
本发明的进一步的实施方案涉及到用下文描述的涂料组合物涂布的基质,和涉及用上述的涂料组合物涂布这样的基质的方法。
现在,通过实施例说明本发明。所有的百分数为重量百分数。
实施例1:
通过混合下列物质来制备根据本发明的涂料组合物。
材料:
8%硅酸乙酯聚合物
13%聚钛酸丁酯
3%铝颜料
33%锌颜料
5%磷酸锌铝
34%石油矿油精
2%聚丙烯蜡
0.6%二氧化硅
0.6%有机改性粘土
实施例2-基质预处理
钢螺栓,直径10mm,60mm长,通过喷砂处理来进行预处理。
实施例3-基质涂料
用下面的涂料组合物AF1-AF3来涂布上述实施例2的预处理的螺栓。每一个涂层都是在离心机中通过旋转浸涂涂布,在200℃下部分固化10分钟,然后进行进一步旋转浸涂,并在200℃下完全固化10分钟。
AF1-只有2层实施例1的涂料组合物的涂层
AF2-只有3层实施例1的涂料组合物的涂层
AF3-2层实施例1的涂料组合物的涂层,然后是2层上述涂料A的涂层。
还制备了对比性的抗磨涂层(CAFI),其由3层上述涂料A的涂层组成。
实施例4-耐腐蚀性
在根据上述实施例3制备的AF1~AF3螺栓上,进行盐喷测试DIN50021。结果见下表1~3(取10个螺栓的测试结果的平均结果):

实施例5:润滑作用
使用Erichsen AP 541Bolt Testing Machine测量根据上述实施例3制备的有涂层AF1和AF3的螺栓的摩擦系数。在被拧紧1和3次的螺栓上进行测试,并对不同的表面进行测试。测试结果见下表4:

实施例6-阴极保护
将没有预处理的铁板脱脂,使用Erichsen螺旋成膜器将上述实施例1的涂料组合物和抗磨涂层CAF1涂布在其一侧上。然后板在200℃下固化10分钟。冷却后,测量固化后的涂层的干厚度。然后将防腐带加到每一块板的未处理过的表面上,并在每一块板的涂布表面上切X-切口,切至金属表面。然后将板放在盐喷测试器(DIN50021)中,直到观察到红锈形成,结果见下表5:

实施例7
用实施例1的涂料组合物涂布如实施例2中描述的螺栓类型2层,并如实施例3描述的方式固化。固化后,该被涂布的螺栓有两层可选择的上述称为涂层B类型的表层涂层。通过混合下面表6中确定的材料来制备该表层涂层组合物:
聚钛酸丁酯和乙基聚硅酸酯被加到带有溶解盘(dissolver disk)的混合器中10分钟。同时在Ultra turrax均化器中制备二氧化硅、粘土、磷酸锌铝和与石油矿油精成一定比例(在样品2中为约9重量%溶剂,在实施例1中为约20重量%溶剂)的聚丙烯蜡(当有聚丙烯蜡时)的淤浆。然后将淤浆加到聚钛酸丁酯和乙基聚硅酸酯混合物中,并且用溶解盘混合所得的混合物30分钟,在这段时间里,加入剩余量的溶剂,在溶解盘的存在下混合最后的混合物又10分钟。可以看到,试样TC1省去了防腐蚀添加剂磷酸锌铝。

表层涂层组合物、试样TC1和TC2以同样的方式涂布到本发明的涂料组合物上,涂布的每一层在200℃下固化10分钟。
实施例8-防腐蚀性
如实施例7所述制备的螺栓上进行盐喷试验DIN50021。结果见下表7(取10个螺栓测试结果的平均结果)。在每个测试中,两层根据本发明的涂料组合物被涂布到每个螺栓上,但可选择的表层涂层的层数如表7所示变化。

用包括锌和铝粒子和粘合剂的市购产品进行同样的测试,有或没有表层涂层,结果见表7a,其中粘合剂包括钛酸四丁酯和三甲氧基乙烯基硅烷,上述结果应同表7a中提供的结果进行比较。可知,相比较的表层涂层是包括酚醛和环氧组分的有机树脂,其还可以包括最多约30重量%的聚四氟乙烯(PTFE)。注意到在用对比基本涂层/对比表层涂层结合涂布的螺栓上出现的红锈的量明显多于只包括对比基本涂层的涂层上出现的量。而且在表7a中显示的对比结果的值也明显比表1,2和3中的结果差。

实施例9-润滑作用(有表层涂层)
如实施例5所述,分析根据实施例8制备的被涂布的螺栓的摩擦系数。在钢表面上被拧紧1~3次的螺栓上进行测试。涂料9.1、9.2和9.3等同于实施例的涂料8.1、8.4和8.5。结果见下表8:

Claims (15)
1.一种涂料组合物,包括在溶剂中的粘合剂和腐蚀抑制剂,其中粘合剂包括硅酸酯和有机钛酸酯,腐蚀抑制剂包括铝粒子和锌粒子。
2.根据权利要求1的组合物,其中粘合剂包括20~60重量%的硅酸酯,40~80重量%的有机钛酸酯,总和为100重量%。
3.根据权利要求1或2的组合物,其中腐蚀抑制剂包括80~97重量%的锌粒子,3~20重量%的铝粒子,总和为100重量%。
4.根据权利要求1,2或3的组合物,其中进一步包括含有金属磷酸盐的防腐蚀添加剂。
5.根据上述任一项权利要求的组合物,其中进一步包括含有烃蜡或聚四氟乙烯蜡的润滑剂。
6.根据上述任一项权利要求的组合物,其中进一步包括增稠剂。
7.根据上述任一项权利要求的组合物,有固含量包括50-80重量%的腐蚀抑制剂,9~18重量%的粘合剂,0~33重量%的金属磷酸盐,0~8重量%的润滑剂;和0~4重量%的增稠剂。
8.带有涂层的基质,该涂层由根据上述任一项权利要求的组合物的1,2或3层涂层形成。
9.带有涂层的基质,该涂层由根据上述任一项权利要求的组合物的1,2或3层涂层和由另一种涂料组合物的另外的1,2或3层涂层形成,另一种涂料组合物包括20~25重量%的酚醛树脂、环氧树脂、乙烯基丁醛树脂和聚四氟乙烯的润滑剂混合物以及70~75重量%的甲乙酮、甲基异丁基酮和环己酮的溶剂混合物。
10.根据权利要求8的带有涂层的基质,其中还提供了包含在溶剂中的硅酸酯和有机钛酸酯的无金属粒子的表层涂层1~3层。
11.根据权利要求8、9或10的任一权利要求所述的基质,其中基质选自螺帽、螺栓和其它紧固零件,门、阀盖和后行李箱锁部件,铰链、制门器、窗玻璃导轨、座椅固定带元件、制动盘和制动鼓,以及其它交通工业涉及到的部件。
12.根据权利要求1至7任一项的涂料组合物用于涂布基质的用途,其中基质选自螺帽、螺栓和其它紧固部件,门、阀盖和后行李箱锁部件,铰链、制门器、窗玻璃导轨、座椅固定带元件、制动盘和制动鼓,以及其它交通工业涉及到的部件。
13.提供给基质保护涂层的方法,包括涂布根据权利要求1~7任一权利要求的组合物到基质上。
14.根据权利要求13的方法,其中涂层是由根据权利要求1~7任一权利要求的组合物的1或2层涂层在基质上形成的,然后是下面其一或两者皆有:
(i)另一种涂料组合物的另外的1,2或3层涂层,另一种涂料组合物包括20~25重量%的酚醛树脂、环氧树脂、乙烯基丁醛树脂和聚四氟乙烯的润滑剂混合物以及70~75重量%的甲乙酮、甲基异丁基酮和环己酮的溶剂混合物,和
(ii)1~3层包括硅酸酯和有机钛酸酯的无金属粒子的表层涂层。
15.带有根据权利要求13或14的方法获得的保护涂层的基质。
