技术领域
本发明的公开涉及气袋拴系物,并涉及有关气袋蒙皮拴系组件在织物坯料上的图案位置的布置,以便提高织物利用率和单位气袋产品的总成本节约。这里描述的气袋拴系系统由两块等边的多段拴系片组成,它们互相接合并与各自气袋蒙皮(panels)连接。和传统的拴系系统不一样,由该拴系片组成的片料是沿着织物坯料的经纱和纬纱剪裁的。这种多段结构,由于其片料沿织物承力主轴剪下,所以降低了气袋及拴系物制作时的织物消耗量,同时为拴系系统在起作用时提供足够的伸长度。
背景技术
在传统上,气袋拴系物历来用于控制气袋在充气时的变化范围。在释放气体,使气袋迅速充气时,必须防止充气出现失控。缝在气袋前后蒙皮(panel)上的拴系物可防止充气气袋膨胀得太快,以致当车内乘客接触气袋时对乘客的安全有不利影响。
拴系物通常是条形织物片段,与织物坯料上图案排列对齐,或与从同一块坯料上剪下的气袋蒙皮对齐。这些拴系物的图案包括拴系条中心区的圆形部分,在圆形部分周围有条带与气袋蒙皮固定。此圆形部分难以将很多拴系物互相有效地叠放在一块织物坯料上。
本行业知道,这样的拴系物须有伸长能力(即,拴系物应能伸长以适应气袋快速变化的需要)。为此,传统的拴系物相对于织物的经纱和纬纱作斜向剪裁。但是,将拴系物图案对齐以满足斜剪标准将提高制作用于众多气袋的适当数量的拴系物所需的织物量。此外,由于织物利用率占成品气袋成本的50%以上,所以以这种方式将拴系物排齐会增加生产成本。
发明内容
本发明的气袋拴系系统解决织物利用率和拴系物伸长度的问题。拴系板不斜剪而是沿织物承力主轴方向裁剪(即沿经纱或纬纱)。应用多段拴系系统(其中无拴系片是斜剪的),使拴系片可布置在气袋蒙皮周围,不然是织物废料的空白内,从而提高织物利用率。对齐(经纬)裁剪的拴系片的应用导致织物利用率的提高,同时提供的拴系系统能耐气袋充气时所加的力。

详细说明
为了说明本发明,必须定义某些术语。术语“斜向”拟指沿织物织纹对角线裁剪,通常以相对经纱或纬纱25-65°的角度裁剪。术语“基本对齐”应该用于沿与织物的经纱或纬纱成25°以下角度进行的裁剪,最好与织物的经纱或纬纱直接对齐。
术语“拴系片”用于描述长度大于宽度的织物单位,最好是大致矩形织物块,用于形成拴系板。为了简单起见,图中用矩形表示这些拴系片。本发明涉及的拴系片基本上沿织物的经纱或纬纱裁剪。术语“拴系板”指拴系系统二组件之一,每一拴系板由二个或二个以上位于同一气袋蒙皮上的拴系片组成,如上所述,拴系板可以有,也可没有中央加强件。术语“拴系系统”指连接的拴系板,用于防止充气气袋的失控移动而对车内乘客与此气袋接触带来的不利影响。对于每个气袋成品,拴系系统通常有二个拴系板,且如下所述,本发明的每个拴系板包括2-4段拴系片。

由于气袋充气速度快,必须控制气袋在车厢中占据的空间大小,以保护车内乘员。拴系物通过防止气袋膨胀失控能完成此项任务。拴系物常用缝合、熔接、胶合或其它连结技术牢固地连接气袋内部。
图1示出气袋10的侧视图。气袋10由前气袋蒙皮4和后气袋蒙皮6组成,气袋蒙皮4和6大致为圆形,尽管其它平面几何形状也可以。只是为了举例,不是限制,气袋蒙皮4和6可以采用n边的正多边形。这种简单的气袋是本行业的标准件,气袋蒙皮4和6的形状一样。
图2示出气袋10的横截面图,显示拴系系统在气袋中的布置,拴系片14(示于图3A,沿织物坯料的经纱或纬纱裁剪),连接到前气袋蒙皮4和后气袋蒙皮6。每个拴系片14连接气袋蒙皮(4或6)的一端叫做连接气袋端。所示拴系片14在气袋10内部互相搭接。每段拴系片14连接另一拴系片14的一端叫做连接拴系物端。所示拴系片14(在其各自连接拴系物端)的连接通过接缝18实现。但这样的连接也可用其它方法完成,如熔接、胶合、或其它连接技术。在一实施例中,拴系片14大体上呈矩形,尽管可以用任何长度大于宽度的片段,包括有锥形或弧形连接气袋端的拴系片14。
在一实施例中,还有至少一个中心区加强件12(示于图3B)连接到前气袋蒙皮4和后气袋蒙皮6。加强件常是圆形或其它形状,在气袋10的生产中被采用。拴系片14与一个或一个以上中心区加强件12一起,以便形成拴系板24(如图3C所示)。此加强件12对防止气袋10的袋口在配置充气工具时发生周围开裂特别重要。为此,希望有多达5个加强件12连接后气袋蒙皮6。在其它情况下,如使用低温充气工具时,可不需要加强件12。
拴系片14是图3C所示多段拴系板24的一部分。在一实施例中,拴系板24由至少二段拴系片14和至少一个中心区加强件12组成。中心区加强件12位于气袋蒙皮4的中心连接区内。拴系片14沿径向定位在气袋蒙皮4的中心连接区周围,且以其各自连接气袋端固定到加强件12上,并由图3C中虚线所示的接缝22固定到气袋蒙皮4上。同样,拴系片14和加强件12都附着到后气袋蒙皮6上。附着到前气袋蒙皮4的拴系片14的连接拴系物端用缝合、熔接、胶合或本领域已知的其它连接方法连接到附着在后气袋蒙皮6上的拴系片14的连接拴系物端。
图3D示出拴系板24的变种,在此实施例中,中心区加强件12未包括。拴系片沿径向定位在气袋蒙皮4或6的中心连接区周围并通过接缝22连接到气袋蒙皮4或6上。如上所述,也可应用其它连接方法,包括熔接或胶合。在此实施例中,虽然拴系片14不直接互相接触,但拴系片14还是相互作用,并与相连接的气袋蒙皮4或6(未示)起作用,以形成拴系板28。

本发明的多片拴系系统包括一对拴系板24(或28,34或44),其各自的拴系片14大致沿织物坯料90的经纱或纬线裁剪。每个拴系板24由几个拴系片14组成,且可以,也可以不包括中心区加强件12,由于有了这些各种各样的多片拴系系统,本发明解决了织物利用率及成本问题,因而比现有技术有改进。

Claims (13)

1.一种气袋蒙皮,所述气袋蒙皮有一径向对称轴,所述径向对称轴定位在气袋蒙皮的中心连接区内,所述气袋蒙皮还有拴系系统,它包括至少二段沿径向布置在中心连接区周围的拴系片,其布置形状有至少一条对称轴,与气袋蒙皮的径向对称轴垂直,其中所述拴系片从机织物上裁剪下来,该机织物为由一组经纱和一组纬纱构成,所述拴系片大致沿所述纱线组之一裁剪,且其中圆形接缝的弧形段将各拴系片端部连接到气袋蒙皮上,所述圆形接缝定位在所述气袋蒙皮中心连接区的边缘。
