Abstract

Description
本发明涉及一种损坏指示盖、制造这种盖的方法以及包括容器上具有这种盖的组件。
通常,利用一些整体的易折断的桥接片把一个卡环连接到盖的侧壁上,从而形成一个损坏指示盖。卡环具有一个与容器上的突缘相配合的阻挡元件(例如,一个突缘或突圈),以阻止盖的松脱,因此,移去盖子时,就使那当连接卡环和盖子侧壁的易折断元件被折断。在转让给这里的受让人的美国专利US33265中,公开了具有这种特征的损坏指示盖,在这种盖子中,一旦把盖子从容器上移去时,指示损坏的卡环就与盖子的侧壁完全分开,并保留在容器上。同样转让给了这里的受让人的美国专利US5295600中,公开了一种损坏指示盖,在这种盖子中,指示损坏的卡环与盖子的侧壁保持相连,并与盖子一起从容器上移去。
尽管在所提到的专利中所公开的那些类型的损坏指示盖在商业上基本被认可,且在这个领域中也获得了商业上的成功,但是这些类型的盖子仍需进一步改进。尤其是,当把这种盖子用于一容器时,就会遇到一些弄湿缩口部的问题。在填充操作期间或在填充操作之后,液体会溅到容器缩口部的外表面上,从而使得在封盖之后,这些液体被分布在容器缩口部与盖子的侧壁之间。在热填充、冷填充以及无菌填充的情况下,会遇到这种湿缩口的问题。在填充时,在封盖之前,容器被填充到容器边缘或填充到液体溢出。在填充期间,液体会从填充设备上滴到容器缩口部上,从而也会遇到遇到弄湿缩口部的问题。在这种弄湿缩口部的情况下,就会遇到关于对位于容器缩口部的外表面与盖子侧壁之间的区域,即位于容器缩口部上的螺纹与侧壁之间,以及指示损坏的卡环与阻挡元件周围的区域进行排液和干燥的问题。聚集在这个区域内的液体会导致生长霉菌和发霉。在一些情况下,盖子自身的弹力把阻挡突缘压入,使之与容器的缩口部的所谓的Al直径相互配合,在这种情况下,排液问题就更加严重。同时,盖子制造商也并不欣赏这弄湿缩口部的应用,这是因为这种应用会有可能使产品聚集在盖子的螺纹内,并且会因此会给消费者带来一些问题。当产品填充机必须使用这个填充过程时,本发明将有助于减少产品聚集的可能。
本发明总的目的是提供一种盖子以及有利于对液体产品进行排放的制造这种盖子的方法。本发明的另一个相关的目的是提供一种盖子以及制造这种盖子的方法,这种方法能达到前面所述的目的,同时能保留上面所提到的专利中所公开的盖子的优点,这些优点是,在填充(更低的顶部负载和更低的温度)之后,能方便容易地把这种盖子用于容器缩口部,以及容易把指示损坏的卡环全部或部分地从侧壁上折断,从而具有表明已损坏这一特征。本发明的另外一个目的是提供一种组件,包括一个盖子和一个容器,非常适合用于在前面所描述的会弄湿缩口部的情况下应用。

在本发明的优选实施例中,突肋沿突缘圆周方向具有均匀的尺寸,并且突肋之间的空间在沿突缘圆周方向具有均匀的尺寸大小。突肋沿圆周方向均匀的尺寸最好小于突肋之间的沿圆周方向的均匀间隔,以便增大用于排除位于突缘与容器缩口部的相对表面之间的液体。因此,突肋就把突缘基体与容器缩口部间隔开,并在把盖子从容器缩口部移去期间,一旦在突肋与A突圈相接合,突肋就对突缘基体进行加强。突肋在突缘自由边处的厚度可以大于或小于基体在突缘自由边处的厚度。突缘基体的厚度在突缘的轴向和径向上是均匀的,或者可以沿突缘轴向和径向从卡环到突缘自由边是增大的。突缘的自由边最好是沿周向连续,且没有凹口,并完全位于一个平行于基壁的平面内。

根据本发明的另一个方面,对容器进行充填和封盖的方法包括提供一个带有外螺纹缩口部和外突缘的容器以及对用液体对容器进行充填至缩口部边缘的步骤。然后把一个盖子封在容器缩口部。其中的盖子具有一个基壁、带外螺纹的侧壁、通过易折断装置连接到侧壁上的一个卡环、以及从卡环延伸的用于与容器突缘接合的突缘。为了便于把液体从侧壁与容器缩口部之间排出,把盖子上的突缘制成沿卡环圆周方向具有均匀厚度的连续基体,且在突缘径向和轴向上的厚度为均匀的或增大的。一组沿圆周方向间隔设置的突肋与基体构成一个整体,并从该基体上延伸,这些突肋用于与突缘下面的容器缩口部的相对表面相接合。这些突肋的厚度从卡环处的零沿径向和轴向均匀地增大到突缘自由边处的最大厚度。

图3~8表示出了模制时的盖子24,即在翻转阻挡突缘42、形成线槽、模制垫片32之前时的盖子24。根据本发明一个方面的阻挡突缘42包括一个沿圆周方向连续的基体44,在该基体44上整体地模制了一组突肋46。在图1~5的实施例中的突缘基体44的厚度在突缘42周向上和突缘42的径向和轴向上都是均匀的。因此,基体44的径向和轴向外表面平行于它的径向和轴向内表面,这在图4中看得最清楚。突肋46的周向尺寸相同且均匀,这在图3和图5中看得最清楚,并且它的厚度从突缘42与卡环38的连接处的零沿突缘42的径向和轴上增大或加厚到突缘42自由边处的最大厚度。在图5中看得最清楚,突肋46之间的周向空间最好大于突肋46的周向尺寸。突肋46不仅用于把突缘基体44从容器缩口部间隔开,这在后面将要被描述,而且突肋46还用于在卡环38从侧壁34上折断分离期间,在与缩口部突圈44接合期间对突缘42进行加强。目前优选的情况是,突肋46占用突缘42最小的周向尺寸,并与这种加强作用相一致。

图6~10表示根据本发明另一个实施例的一种盖子/容器的组件50。图6~10中,那些与图1~5所示实施例中的相同或相似的元件采用相同的附图标记,而有变化的元件用在对应的附图标记加一个后辍“a”来表示。组件50中的盖子52包括一个基壁30a和一个周向侧壁34a。一个垫片32a设置在基壁30a的内表面上,最好用前面描述的就地压模的方法来设置。 同时,图2中的垫片32采用了系列号为No.08/851821的美国专利申请中所表示的那种类型的垫片,而图6中的垫片32a采用了美国专利US5650113或US5265747中所示类型的垫片。根据本发明,盖子24(图1~5)或盖子52(图6~10)可以是所谓的无垫片型的,而是采用一个象美国专利US5320236中表示的密封唇。一个阻挡突缘42a从盖子52的指示损坏的卡环38延伸。从图8中看得最清楚,突缘42a有点不同于图4中的突缘42,因为突缘基体44a沿圆周方向的尺寸是均匀的,但是厚度从指示损坏的卡环38沿径向和轴向增厚或加大。沿圆周方向间隔布置的突助46a沿圆周方向的尺寸均匀且相同,构成突肋之间的间隔或空间,并从卡环38到突缘42a自由边沿轴向和径向增厚或加宽。因此,图6~8中的突缘42a比图1~5中的突缘42更牢固,但是图6~10所示实施例中的在突肋46a之间形成的锯齿或通道在径向上的尺寸要小于图1~5中所示实施例中对应的尺寸。

5、根据权利要求3所述的盖,其特征在于所说的基体(44)在圆周方向上和轴向/径向上都具有均匀的厚度。
6、根据权利要求3所述的盖,其特征在于所说的基体(44a)的厚度沿所说突缘的轴向和径向增大。
7、根据权利要求6所述的盖,其特征在于突肋(46a)在所说自由边处的厚度小于所说基体的均匀或周向厚度。
8、根据权利要求1所述的盖,其特征在于所说自由边沿圆周方向是连续的,且全部位于平行于所说基壁(30,30a)的一个平面内。
9、根据权利要求8所述的盖,其特征在于所说的易折断装置(41)包括一组沿圆周方向间隔设置的易折断的跨接片。
10、根据权利要求1所述的盖,其特征在于所说的内部装置包括至少一条内螺纹(36a),所说的盖还包括一组棱(60),这组棱在所说的至少一条螺纹的两个纹顶之间轴向延伸,用于与一容器缩口部上的外螺纹磨擦接合。
11、根据权利要求10所述的盖,其特征在于所说的至少一条螺纹(36a)由一双头螺纹组成,其中所说的一组棱(60)包括沿直径相对的棱。

16、一种对容器进行充填和封盖的方法,包括步骤:(a)提供一容器(22,22a),该容器具有一缩口部,缩口部带有外蚴纹(28,28a)和一外部突圈(44,44a),(b)提供一损坏指示盖(20,50),该盖子具有一基壁(30,30a)、一具有内螺纹(36,36a)的一侧壁(34,34a)、一卡环(38),该卡环利用易折断装置(41)与所说侧壁相连、以及一条从所说卡环延伸用于与所说突圈(bead)接合的突缘(42,42a),(c)向容器充填液体,直到充真到所说缩口部的边缘,(d)把盖子封盖到容器的缩口部,
