Abstract
本发明涉及一种柔性LED多重模块(10),它具有多个刚性导电板(2),每个刚性导电板在其一个主表面上以一定距离用柔性导电板(1)彼此相连接。及具有多个LEDs(30),它们在刚性导电板(2)的范围内被安装在柔性导电板(1)上。该LED多重模块(10)特别适于装在灯盒(20)中,并尤其应用在机动车上。
Description
本发明涉及一种柔性LED多重模块,它尤其可被安装在灯盒中,譬如可用于机动车的外部照明。
在机动车的内部及外部照明领域中,尤其是对于后灯或刹车灯正愈来愈多地使用发光二极管(LEDs)来取代传统的白炽灯,因为LEDs具有较长的寿命、在可见光谱范围中将电能转换成光能的更高效率、及与此相关的低热发散量和小的总位置占有量。但是,在制造时首先需投入较多的一些成本,这是由于与一个白炽灯相比每一个LED的发光强度小故必需要由构成一个阵列形式的多个LEDs组装。
对于实现LED阵列,迄今已公知了多种建议方案。如US5404282描述了一种LED模块,其中在两个平行的导电条之间固定地安装多个LEDs。这种结构在电路技术上是相对有效的,但是对于装入灯盒却无灵活性,因为它不能方便地适合弯曲的盒形状(参见图1)。
在US5519596中也描述了一种LED模块,它由一个金属框构成,该框具有在导电片之间接触LEDs的刚性段及设在各刚性段之间并各由梳状可弯曲金属结构构成的柔性段。这种结构虽然提供了所需的柔性,但也带来了自身的缺点。一方面,由于整个框由金属制作,柔性段的制造过于昂贵且困难,另一方面,电路设计仅允许每次在一个模块段中布置一排LEDs。
因此本发明的任务在于,给出一种尤其用于机动车灯盒的柔性LED多重模块,它一方面可以尽可能简单地被制造,另一方面可实现在各模块段内布置大量的LEDs。
该任务将通过权利要求1的特征来解决。对此本发明描述了一种柔性LED多重模块,其具有多个、譬如由铝作的刚性或硬质导电板,每个刚性导电板在其一个主表面上以一定距离用柔性导电板彼此相连接,及具有多个LEDs,它们在刚性导电板的范围内被安装在柔性板上。
最好LEDs被集成在一个电路中,该电路被安装在柔性板上。LEDs最好用表面装配技术SMT(Surface-Mount Technology)制造,并直接地装配在粘接在刚性板区域中的柔性板上。这有其优点,即照顾到LEDs的最佳散热。
一种优选使用的LED譬如被描述在F.Moelmer及G.Waitl写的文章“用于表面装配的SIEMENS SMT-TOPLED”-杂志:SiemensComponent 29(1991)第4期第147页并结合图1-中。
这种形式的LED特别的紧凑并允许在柔性板上布置大量的LEDs。
通常柔性板是由一种柔性塑料制造的。它譬如可由聚酯或聚酰亚胺薄膜构成。特别有利的是使用本身公知的所谓“柔板”(Flexboards),如在H.Kober写的文章“在极小空间中的柔性布线”-杂志:F&M第5/96期第356页-中。在那里该柔板被描述为多层导电片,它由多个聚酰亚胺薄膜载体均匀地构成。
此外有利的是,包含在电路中的电阻被设置在刚性导电板之间相隔区域中柔性导电板的柔性段中。由此使各电阻在一定程度上热分离。
根据本发明的LED多重模块特别适于装入灯盒,用于环境照明,尤其用于机动车、如后灯或刹车灯。
以下将借助于实施例来详细说明本发明。其附图为:

图3A、B:其中装有一个LED多重模块的灯盒的侧视图及俯视图。
表示在图1中的一种LED多重模块的基本形式具有多个条形的刚性导电板2,原则上它们可由每种刚性固体材料制造。最好它们由一种金属作成,因为良好的散热是所要求的。这里特别选用铝,因为此外还具有良好的可加工性及低的比重,这鉴于在机动车中应用是有意义的。这些刚性导电板2如图示地彼此相隔地布置,及一个柔性导电板1、最好一种柔板被粘在各刚性导电板2上。将柔板粘在金属表面上的技术是现有技术中公知的故这里将不再深究。
然后在柔性板2上最好以公知的SMT技术通过焊接设置一个包括LEDs 30及必要时包括电阻31的电路3。在此情况下,LEDs 30被安装在刚性导电板2的区域中及电阻31被安装在位于各刚性导电板1之间的柔板的柔性段1中。这些LEDs最好构成刚才所述的SMT-TOPLED。
在制造时,刚性导电板2由一个基体这样地铣出,即起初彼此仍由窄条相连接。仅在粘上柔性导电板及焊上电路3后才去掉柔性导电板1的柔性段下面的窄条,并由此产生该LED多重模块10的全部柔性。这些窄条可在通过STM装配技术安装电阻31的位置上设置合适的支承件。这些支承件构成柔性导电板1下面的一种支座,用于从柔性导电板1上面进行电阻31的焊接。
图2表示根据本发明的一种LED多重模块的另一形式。在图1中表示了在一个方向上多个LED模块在一定程度上的一维布置,而图2中的实施例则表示各模块可沿两个方向布置在柔性导电板1上。
在图3A、B中表示出一个灯盒20的侧视图及俯视图。其中装有根据本发明的LED模块10。该盒20最好由塑料作成并在其内壁上设有切入塑料的槽,在槽中可卡住刚性导电板2。以此方式可使LED模块可靠地固定在灯盒中,以致-如图3B所示地-所有模块的LEDs30以一个确定的光束方向发光。
灯盒20的透明前表面21可根据需要包含多个透镜以使多个LEDs30发出的光聚成光束。也可以将附加的光学部件22直接地放置在LEDs 30的光输出面上,用于导光和/或聚光。
尤其可设计:譬如通过灯盒20内壁上侧向安装槽的相应构型使各个模块的角度位置在装入状态下可以改变。通过角度位置的改变尤其可改变光密度的分布,以满足一定的法律条款。
Claims (6)
1.柔性LED多重模块(10),尤其用于机动车的灯盒(20),具有:
-多个刚性导电板(2),
-每个刚性导电板在其一个主表面上以一定距离用柔性导电板(1)彼此相连接,及
-多个LEDs(30),它们在刚性导电板(2)的范围内被安装在柔性导电板(1)上。
2.根据权利要求1的柔性LED多重模块(10),其特征在于:
-LEDs(30)被集成在一个电路(3)中,该电路被安装在柔性导电板(1)上。
3.根据权利要求2的柔性LED多重模块(10),其特征在于:
-电路(3)具有电阻(31),电阻被设置在刚性导电板(2)之间相隔区域中柔性导电板(1)上。
4.根据权利要求1的柔性LED多重模块(10),其特征在于:
-刚性导电板(2)由铝构成。
5.根据权利要求1的柔性LED多重模块(10),其特征在于:
-柔性导电板(1)是由塑料制成,尤其由聚酯或聚酰亚胺构成,并尤其由多个聚酰亚胺层(柔板)构成。
6.根据权利要求1至5中一项的柔性LED多重模块应用在机动车的灯盒(20)中。
