Abstract

本发明涉及一种改进的粘接幅片的方法。
                          背景技术
为了将两块幅片粘接在一起,可使用许多不同的方法。一种方法需要在两块幅片的相应边缘附近,将两块幅片重叠起来,形成一个搭接部分;然后将两种材料粘接起来,从而,在搭接部分上形成接缝。
1996年12月10日授予Bigelow等人的美国专利5582949号提出了一种方法,在搭接接头处由超声波焊接的挠性带构成的接缝上,涂上一层薄膜成形聚合物,以填充在该接缝处的凹凸不平的地方。
1995年11月7日授予Servin的美国专利5464488号提出了一种将两个静止的塑料织物层粘接在一起的方法,该方法要求将两块塑料织物搭接起来,然后使一台超声波焊接装置在要粘接的区域上运动,将该两块塑料织物利用超声波焊接在一起。
1985年2月26日授予Weatherly等人的美国专利4501782号提出了一种粘接两块纺织热塑性幅片的方法,该方法需要将该幅片本身折叠回来,进行搭接,然后用超声波焊接起来。
1994年2月15日授予Susi等人的美国专利5286542号公布了一种由多孔的无纺衬底构成的带,该带是通过将它的两端搭接,然后用超声波将两端焊接起来而形成的。
所有这些方法的一个共同的缺点是,没有一种方法可以精确控制要粘接的两块幅片之间的搭接区域。另外,由于两块幅片密度的变化、跟踪两块幅片的误差、和幅片边缘的缺陷的影响,很难在两块幅片上形成一个一致的、狭窄的搭接部分。
本发明的目的是要提供一种精确地控制进行粘接处理的两个区域之间的搭接部分的方法,以便形成一个一致的、狭窄的搭接部分,将要粘接在一起的两块幅片之间的搭接量减至最小,并提供更加均匀的粘接。
本发明的粘接方法可以用于连接许多不同形式的幅片,包括(但不限于):尿布薄膜材料,纺织编物,印刷固化膜片(prined curing mask),不透水的包装材料和照相复制带。
                        本发明概述
本发明包括粘接幅片的方法,该方法包括:提供具有第一长度,第一宽度,第一边缘和第二边缘的第一幅片;提供具有第二长度,第二宽度,第一边缘和第二边缘的第二幅片。将第一幅片的第一边缘与第二幅片的第一边缘靠近,从而使第一幅片的第一边缘与第二幅片的第一边缘搭接,第一幅片与第二幅片之间搭接区域的宽度比第一幅片的第一宽度和第二幅片的第二宽度小。
设置具有一直径和第二直径的滚子,其中,第一直径与第二直径不同。切割装置设置靠近滚子。将第一幅片和第二幅片插入切割装置和滚子之间,切开第一幅片和第二幅片,分别形成第一幅片和第二块幅片的切开的第一边缘。

本发明还包括提供一种幅片粘接方法,其中两块幅片被搭接和切断。然后,可通过使该两块幅片的切断的内侧边缘与下列滚子接触而重新搭接,这些滚子包括一个中间凸起的滚子;或一个弓形滚子;或在同一轴线上平行平面内排列,并且中滚子的转速与两个外滚子转速不同的三个滚子。
本发明还包括使两块搭接的幅片与包括两个外滚子和一个中心滚子的三个滚子接触的粘接方法。所有这三个滚子均与机器的横向方向平行。两个外滚子处在一条公共轴线上。中心滚子处在与二个外滚子的轴线不同的一条轴线上。最好,中心滚子的直径和宽度比二个外滚子的直径和宽度小。一个切割装置靠近中心滚子放置。将因与上述中心滚子接触而偏移的两块搭接的幅片切开、重新搭接,然后再粘接在一起。
本发明还包括提供一定长度的第一幅片,其中,第一幅片具有第一表面,第一边缘和第二边缘,第一幅片的第一和第二边缘与第一幅片的长度平行。提供一定长度的第二幅片,其中,第二幅片具有第二表面,第一边缘和第二边缘,第二幅片的第一和第二边缘与第二幅片的长度平行。
将第一块幅片面对面地叠加在第二幅片上,使第一幅片的第一边缘与第二幅片接触,形成第一幅片和第二幅片的两层厚度。在第一块幅片的第一边缘处,将第一幅片和第二幅片粘接起来,形成一个靠近第一幅片的第一个边缘的粘接部分。将第一幅片与第二幅片分开,使得在粘接部分处为两层厚度;而在邻近粘接部分处,则为第一幅片或第二幅片的一个单层的厚度。使第一幅片与第二幅片第二次粘接。使第二次粘接部分与第一次粘接部分靠近。
本发明还包括提供一定长度的第一幅片,其中,第一幅片具有第一表面,第一边缘和第二边缘,第一幅片的第一和第二边缘与第一幅片的长度平行。提供一定长度的第二幅片,其中,第二幅片具有第二表面,第一边缘和第二边缘,第二幅片的第一和第二边缘与第二幅片的长度平行。
围绕着与相应的第一边缘平行的折叠线,折叠第一幅片和第二幅片,以形成分别都具有两个长度不相等的分支的第一幅片和第二幅片,其中一个分支为短分支,另一个为长分支,分支的长度是在与折叠线垂直的方向上测量的。第一块幅片的短分支在与折叠线垂直的方向上与第二块幅片的短分支接触。第一幅片的短分支与第二幅片的短分支接触使该第一和第二块幅片的短分支与第一幅片和第二幅片的长分支的至少一部分处在一个公共平面,或一个平行平面内。
将第一幅片和第二幅片粘接起来,形成一个主方向大致与相应的第一边缘平行的粘接部分。在大致与折叠线垂直的方向上对第一幅片和第二幅片施加拉力,使第一幅片和第二幅片的短分支和第一幅片和第二幅片的长分支中的至少一部分在一个公共平面内,第一幅片和第二幅片的长分支与第一幅片和第二幅片的相应的短分支靠近。在有一个向量分量与第一幅片和第二幅片的公共平面垂直的方向上,第二次将第一幅片与第二幅片在第一次粘接部分处粘接起来。

                    本发明的详细描述
本发明的目的是要提供一种粘接两块幅片的方法。这里所用的术语“幅片”是指任何连续的、挠性形式的大致平面形材料。本发明的幅片可由任何形式的挠性材料构成,包括(但不限于):纸、塑料和金属。两块幅片可以是相同的或不同的,只要它们能够彼此粘接在一起即可。参见图2,第一幅片10具有第一长度,第一宽度,第一边缘(或内侧边缘)17,和第二边缘(或外侧边缘)18。第二幅片11具有第二长度,第二宽度,第一边缘(或内侧边缘)17,和第二边缘(或外侧边缘)18。每一块幅片的内侧边缘17的方向,与另一块幅片的内侧边缘17彼此相向;并且并列放置。每一块幅片的外侧边缘18远离该幅片的相应的内侧边缘17。
参见图1,本发明的粘接方法有四个基本步骤,它们包括(但不限于):幅片10、11搭接;将幅片10、11切开;将幅片10、11重新搭接;在粘接工作站35处,将幅片10、11粘接起来。另外,在切开该幅片10、11之后,可以有选择地包括修整去除边角料的步骤。另外,在有缓冲滚子12、缺口滚子13和平面外滚子21(每一种滚子都将在下面更充分的说明)的情况下,在上述四个基本步骤之外,还可包括在切开该幅片10、11之后,使幅片10、11缩回的步骤。
本发明的方法可以在(例如)图1示意性地表示的一种幅片处理装置30上进行。实现本发明的一种优选的幅片处理装置30是由威斯康星州的WebexIncorporated of Neenah公司制造的。本发明的幅片处理装置30包括(但不限于):用于展开幅片的展开器31,跟踪滚子(tracking roll),中间滚子,切割装置(例如,纵切机34),用于将两块幅片10、11粘接在一起的粘接站35,且可选择地设置卷取机。
当两块幅片10、11被展开时,第一幅片10的内侧边缘17与第二幅片11的内侧边缘17搭接。在该幅片处理过程中,根据图2、3和4所示的本发明的实施例,上述两块搭接的幅片10、11中,至少有一块幅片移动到平面之外。两块幅片10、11中的至少一块幅片的偏移,使该第一幅片10和第二幅片11的彼此搭接的内侧边缘17,在机器的横向方向上,彼此缩回并离开。在幅片10、11移动后,利用一个切割装置将幅片10、11切开,分别形成第一幅片10和第二幅片11的两个单独切断的,而且是彼此互相对准的内侧边缘17。当幅片10、11回复至平面状态时,该两个切断的内侧边缘重新精确地搭接。然后,将第一幅片10与第二幅片11粘接在一起,与新的搭接部分16重合。
用于使幅片10、11缩回的不同装置包括(但不限于):三个平行放置的滚子(其中,中心滚子23相对于外侧滚子22位于不同的平面内),缺口滚子13,或最好还包括缓冲滚子12。
参见图2所示的本发明的优选实施例,缓冲滚子12具有升高区域20,该区域包括较大的直径和至少一个确定升高区域20的外侧边缘18的较小直径。两个幅片10、11中至少有一个幅片与该升高区域20接触。最好,该升高区域20与该缓冲滚子12的中心线19靠近并延伸超出该中心线19的两侧。最理想是,该升高区域20由两个不同的直径组成,每一个直径都比该滚子的其余部分的直径大。
尽管,有许多不同的形成该缓冲滚子12的方法,一个优选的方法是,对准单一直径的滚子的中心线,将挠性材料带缠绕在该单一直径滚子圆周的周围,在这个位置上形成较大的直径。上述增大的直径也可以通过加工该滚子,或利用一个由热压(或冷缩)配合固定的圆环而达到。另外,还有其他一些本领域普通技术人员们熟悉的方法可达到增大滚子直径的目的。该缓冲滚子12可以用与在该幅片处理装置30中其他被驱动滚子的转速相同的转速,或与该转速不同的转速来驱动。相反,该缓冲滚子12可以是静止的。该缓冲滚子12可以作为上述切割装置的砧座滚子32使用。
参见图3,可以利用缺口滚子13代替该缓冲滚子,将幅片10、11的搭接的内侧边缘17偏移出平面21。与缓冲滚子12相反,该缺口滚子13至少具有一个直径减小的区域,两块幅片10、11中至少有一块幅片与这个区域接触。最好,直径减小区域24与该缺口滚子13的中心线19靠近,并延伸超出该中心线19的两侧。最理想是,该直径减小区域24由两个不同的直径组成。该缺口滚子13可用本领域普通技术人员们所熟悉的任何方法来制造。
上述缓冲滚子12的凸缘(bumper)和该缺口滚子13的缺口,不需要与滚子的中心线19一致。凸缘和缺口可偏离这些滚子的纵向中心线19。在这些结构中,只需要使该两块幅片10、11中至少有一块幅片(最好是两块幅片)与该缺口或凸缘接触。
图4表示本发明的另一个实施例,其中,该两块幅片10、11的搭接的内侧边缘17偏移出平面21。在这个实施例中三个滚子在机械的横向方向上平行放置。两个外侧滚子22放在一根公共的轴线上。中心滚子23放在相对于两个外侧滚子22不同的高度上。最好,中心滚子的宽度和直径比两个外侧滚子22的宽度和直径小。第一幅片10的内侧边缘17和第二幅片11的内侧边缘17与该中心滚子23接触,使这两个内侧边缘17偏移出平面21。
使两块幅片10、11的搭接的内侧边缘17偏移的另一种方法(没有示出),要求在切开之前,在两块幅片10、11中的至少一块幅片上作出波纹或凹坑。然后,在切开后,再去掉该波纹或凹坑,使该第一幅片10的被切断的内侧边缘17与第二幅片11的被切断的内侧边缘17,形成一个搭接部分16。为此,可以使用技术上公知的圆环滚子。
图5和图6表示根据本发明的将两块幅片10、11的内侧边缘17搭接的另一种装置。从图中可以看出,在切开幅片10、11之后,可以使用图5所示的弓形滚子14,或图6所示的中间凸出的滚子15来形成上述新的搭接部分16。参见图5,技术上公知的弓形滚子14,为具有曲率半径的、可围绕共轴线转动的滚子。一般利用该弓形滚子14将幅片展宽。对于从上游向下游输送的处理过程,用于展宽幅片的弓形滚子的放置方向是凸部朝着下游。根据法向进入定理(Normal Entry Law)-幅片处理的众所周知的原理,幅片在其第一个接触点上,与滚子轴成直角进入位于下游的滚子。在弓形滚子14的情况下,幅片在与该弓形滚子14的轴线的曲率半径垂直的方向上与弓形滚子14接触。
通过将该弓形滚子14的传统构形颠倒过来,使其凹面朝向下游(如图5所示),则在本发明中,可以利用弓形滚子14或任何其他的幅片展宽装置,作为在切开幅片10、11之后,使第一幅片10的内侧边缘17与第二幅片11的内侧边缘17搭接的一个装置。应用法向进入定理原理,只要幅片10、11被该滚子表面牵引,则当第一幅片10和第二幅片11接近弓形滚子14时,第一幅片10和第二幅片的两个切断的内侧边缘17分别互相搭接,形成搭接部分16。本领域普通技术人员发现,为了使第一幅片10和第二幅片11的内侧边缘17容易搭接,也可以以相反的构形使用其他的幅片展宽装置。
参见图6,本领域公知的中间凸出的滚子15为桶形的滚子。在本发明中,在切开两块幅片10、11之后可以使用该滚子,使第一幅片10的内侧边缘17与第二幅片11的内侧边缘17搭接而形成搭接部分16。一般,在该滚子的中心线19处,该中间凸出的滚子15的直径最大。该滚子在其轴线方向上远离其中心线而向着较小直径端部形成一个锥度。根据法向进入定理原理,当该第一幅片10和第二幅片11接近中间凸出的滚子15时,第一幅片10和第二幅片11的被切断的内侧边缘17将搭接起来而形成搭接部分16。
在切开后,使第一幅片10的内侧边缘17与第二幅片11的内侧边缘17搭起起来的另一种方法(没有示出),可通过将上述三个滚子在机器的横向方向上,头尾相连地平行放置来实现。三个滚子相对地放置在同一个平面内。两个外侧滚子22的转速相同,而中间滚子23的转速比外侧滚子22的转速快。第一幅片10的外侧边缘18与一个外侧滚子22接触;而第二幅片11的外侧边缘18与另一个外侧滚子22接触。同时,第一幅片10和第二幅片11的被切断的内侧边缘17与中间滚子23接触。中间滚子23以比两个外侧滚子22较快的转速迫使该第一块幅片10和第二块幅片11的被切断的内侧边缘17搭接,形成搭接部分16。
幅片10、11可以用包括(但不限于)粘接剂粘接或超声波焊接在内的任何一种方法粘接在一起。可以用于幅片10、11粘性粘接的粘接剂包括(但不限于):明尼苏达州H.B.Fuller Company of St.Paul和威斯康星州ATDFindley Adhesive Corporation of Wauwatosa生产的热熔性粘接剂。粘接热塑性幅片10、11(例如薄膜)的优选方法是超声波焊接。Branson UltrasonicCorporation of Danbury,Connecticut超声波公司生产的一种优选的超声波焊接装置由一个电源(型号为910BCA),一个转换器(型号为902R),一个增压器(型号为900Sld)和一个硬质合金端面切刀34的刀杆(零件号为109-121-0121/2)组成。
用于将两块幅片10、11粘接在一起的粘接方式可以包括(但不限于):连续均匀或不均匀的方式,半连续均匀或不均匀方式,或不连续均匀或不均匀方式。连续和不连续方式是技术上公知的。半连续方式在1997年5月13日授予Ayers等人的,与本发明具有共同受让人的美国专利5628876中作了说明,这里为了说明半连续方式,引入该专利供参考。
参见图7A,为了将本发明的两块幅片10、11粘接在一起,最好,将第一幅片10和第二幅片11围绕着与各自的第一边缘平行的折叠线折叠,使第一幅片10和第二幅片11都有两个长度不相等的分支,其中,一个分支是长分支,另一个分支是短分支。分支的长度是在与折叠线垂直的方向测量的。第一幅片10的短分支在与折叠线垂直的方向上,与第二幅片11的短分支接触,因此,短分支25的在机器横向方向的宽度与折叠线垂直。第一幅片10的短分支与第二幅片11的短分支接触,可使第一幅片10和第二幅片11的两个短分支25处在一个公共或平行的平面内。至少第一幅片10和第二幅片11的各长分支26的一部分处在一个公共平面内,并从折叠线延伸出去。
第一幅片10和第二幅片11在短分支25处粘接在一起,形成一个主要方向一般是与相应的第一边缘平行的粘接部分36。参见图7B,一般,在与折叠线垂直的方向上对第一幅片10和第二幅片11施加张力,使第一幅片10和第二幅片11的两个短分支25和两个长分支26的一部分处在一个公共平面内,从而使第一幅片10和第二幅片11的两个长分支26靠近它们相应的短分支25。参见图7C,第一幅片10和第二幅片11第二次在第一个粘接部分36处粘接在一起。一般,第二粘接部分37的方向有一个向量分量与第一幅片10和第二幅片11的公共平面垂直。
参见图8A,将第一幅片10和第二幅片11粘接在一起的一种更优选方法是:将第一幅片10面对面地放在第二幅片11上,使第一幅片10的内侧边缘17与第二幅片11的内侧边缘17接触,形成第一幅片10和第二幅片11的两层厚度。第一幅片10和第二幅片11在第一幅片10的内侧边缘17处粘接起来,形成一个与第一块幅片10的内侧边缘17邻近的粘接部分36,如图8B所示。参见图8B,第一幅片10与第二幅片11分开,以在粘接部分36处保持两层厚度,而邻近粘接部分36处,则仍保持第一幅片10和第二幅片11的单层厚度。参见图8C,第一幅片10和第二幅片11又再次粘接,因此,第二个粘接部分36与第一个粘接部分36是靠近的。
参见图9,将第一幅片10和第二幅片11粘接起来最优选的方法是:将第一幅片10的内侧边缘17放在邻近第二幅片11的内侧边缘17处,使第一幅片10的内侧边缘17与第二幅片11的内侧边缘17在搭接部分16上搭接。在第一幅片10和第二幅片11之间的搭接部分16的宽度比第一幅片10的第一宽度或第二幅片11的第二宽度小。

例1
参见图1,将每一块厚度为2密耳,宽度为114英寸的两块聚酯薄膜幅片10、11放置在Wepex Incorporated公司制造的一台幅片处理装置30的展开部件31上。将两块幅片10、11同时展开,并将每一块幅片的内侧边缘17互相搭接,形成一个4英寸宽的搭接部分16。然后,使两块幅片10、11与缓冲滚子12的砧座滚子32接触。如图2所示,为了形成上述缓冲滚子12,将一条防护带(masking tape)33在上述砧座滚子32的中心线19处缠绕,砧座滚子直径为6英寸,纵向长度大约为235英寸。为了形成一个8英寸宽的缓冲滚子,在该砧座滚子32的中心线19的每一侧使用了一条4英寸宽的防护带33。防护带33缠绕在靠近该中心线19的砧座滚子32的一侧而在上述4英寸宽的区域内使砧座滚子32的半径增大大约5密耳。在邻近该砧座滚子32的中心线19的另一侧也缠绕足够的防护带33,使在4英寸宽的区域内砧座滚子32的半径大约增大10密耳。
将两块幅片10、11转移至缓冲滚子12的砧座滚子32上。第一幅片10的内侧边缘17与砧座滚子32的半径增大了5密耳的中心线19的一侧上的4英寸宽的防护带33的区域接触,并延伸超出该区域。第二幅片11的内侧边缘17与砧座滚子32的半径增大了10密耳的邻近中心线19的另一侧上宽度为4英寸的防护带33的区域接触,并延伸超出该区域。第一幅片10的外侧边缘18和第二幅片11的外侧边缘18都在8英寸宽的缓冲滚子12的区域轴向外侧的位置上与砧座滚子32接触。同时,将两块幅片10、11在搭接部分16处切开。因为,第一幅片10和第二幅片11,都是由缓冲滚子12的砧座滚子32输送的,因此,在第一幅片10的切断的内侧边缘17和第二幅片11的切断的内侧边缘17之间,形成一个宽度大约为20密耳的新的搭接部分16。这个新的搭接部分16的宽度大约为20密耳。在该搭接区域内,用超声波方法将两块幅片10、11粘接起来,形成一块单一的幅片。为此,使用了Brason超声波公司制造的一种超声波焊接装置。然后,将该单一的幅片重新卷绕起来。
虽然,说明了本发明的一些实施例,然而,本领域普通技术人员理解,只要不偏离本发明的范围和精神,可以作各种各样的改变和改进。例如,可以利用一个弓形滚子14或中间凸起滚子作为缓冲滚子12,在一个公共的轴向平面内互相平行的三个滚子中有一个中心滚子23,作为上述缺口滚子13,并使其转速比外侧两个滚子22大,等等。

Claims (10)

1.一种粘接幅片的方法,包括下列步骤:
a)提供具有第一长度,第一宽度,第一边缘和第二边缘的第一幅片;
b)提供具有第二长度,第二宽度,第一边缘和第二边缘的第二幅片;
c)将所述第一幅片的所述第一边缘与所述第二幅片的所述第一边缘搭接,形成一个搭接区域,所述搭接区域的宽度比所述第一幅片的第一宽度和所述第二幅片的第二宽度小;
d)提供至少具有第一直径和第二直径的滚子,其中,所述第一直径与所述第二直径不同;
e)将切割装置靠近所述滚子放置;
f)将所述第一幅片和所述第二幅片放在所述切割装置和所述滚子之间,使所述第一块幅片和所述第二块幅片中的至少一块幅片移出平面;
g)利用所述切割装置,切开所述第一幅片和所述第二幅片,形成所述第一幅片的切开的第一边缘,和所述第二块幅片的切开的第一边缘;
h)将所述第一幅片的所述切开的第一边缘与所述第二幅片的所述切开的第一边缘搭接,形成一个新的搭接部分;
i)将所述第一幅片与所述第二幅片粘接起来,形成与所述搭接部分一致的一个粘接部分。
2.如权利要求1所述的粘接幅片的方法,其特征在于,所述滚子的所述第一直径比所述第二直径大。
3.如权利要求1所述的粘接幅片的方法,其特征在于,所述滚子还可以具有第三直径,所述第三直径靠近所述第一直径,并且,所述第三直径比所述第一直径小,而比所述第二直径大。
4.一种粘接幅片的方法,包括下列步骤:
a)提供具有第一长度,第一宽度,第一边缘和第二边缘的第一幅片;
b)提出具有第二长度,第二宽度,第一边缘和第二边缘的第二幅片;
c)将所述第一幅片的所述第一边缘与所述第二幅片的所述第一边缘搭接,形成一个宽度比所述第一幅片第一宽度和所述第二幅片的第二宽度小的一个搭接区域;
d)将切割装置靠近所述幅片放置;
e)将所述第一幅片和所述第二幅片放在所述切割装置中间,切开所述第一幅片的所述第一边缘和所述第二幅片的所述第一边缘;
f)提供一个沿轴向方向具有第一直径和至少一个其它直径的回转滚子,其中,所述第一直径比每一个所述其他的直径大;
g)使所述滚子与所述第一幅片和所述第二幅片接触;
h)将所述第一幅片的所述切开的第一边缘与所述第二幅片的所述切开的第一边缘搭接;
i)将所述第一幅片与所述第二幅片粘接起来,形成与所述搭接部分的所述宽度一致的一个粘接部分。
5.一种粘接幅片的方法,包括下列步骤:
a)提供具有第一长度,第一宽度,第一边缘和第二边缘的第一幅片;
b)提供具有第二长度,第二宽度,第一边缘和第二边缘的第二幅片;
c)将所述第一幅片的所述第一边缘与所述第二幅片的所述第二边缘搭接,形成一个宽度比所述第一幅片的第一宽度和所述第二幅片的第二宽度小的一个搭接区域;
d)将切割装置靠近所述幅片放置;
e)将所述第一幅片和所述第二幅片靠近所述切割装置放置,以切开所述第一幅片的所述第一边缘和所述第二幅片的所述第一边缘;
f)提供一个在轴向方向可以转动的具有弯曲曲率的静止轴线的第一弓形滚子,其中,所述曲率的半径朝向下游是凹形的;
g)使所述滚子与所述第一幅片和所述第二幅片接触;
h)将所述第一幅片的所述切开的第一边缘与所述第二幅片的所述切开的第一边缘搭接;
i)将所述第一幅片与所述第二幅片粘接起来,形成与所述搭接部分的所述宽度一致的一个粘接部分。
6.一种粘接幅片的方法,包括下列步骤:
a)提供具有第一长度,第一宽度,第一边缘和第二边缘的第一幅片;
b)提供具有第二长度,第二宽度,第一边缘和第二边缘的第二幅片;
c)将所述第一幅片的所述第一边缘与所述第二幅片的所述第二边缘搭接,形成一个宽度比所述第一幅片的第一宽度和所述第二幅片的第二宽度小的一个搭接区域;
d)将切割装置靠近所述幅片放置;
e)将所述第一幅片和所述第二幅片靠近所述切割装置放置,以切开所述第一幅片的所述第一边缘和所述第二幅片的所述第一边缘;
f)提供两个外滚子和一个中间滚子,所述滚子位于与机器横向方向平行的公共轴线上;
g)使所述中间滚子围绕其轴线以第一速度回转,使所述两个外滚子围绕其轴线以第二速度回转,所述中间滚子的所述第一速度比所述两个外滚子的所述第二速度大;
h)使所述第一滚子,所述第二滚子和所述第三滚子与所述第一幅片和所述第二幅片接触;
i)使所述第一幅片的所述切开的第一边缘与所述第二幅片的所述切开的第一边缘搭接;
j)将所述第一幅片与所述第二幅片粘接起来,形成与所述搭接部分一致的一个粘接部分。
7.一种粘接幅片的方法,它包括下列步骤:
a)提供具有第一长度,第一宽度,第一边缘和第二边缘的第一幅片;
b)提供具有第二长度,第二宽度,第一边缘和第二边缘的第二幅片;
c)将所述第一幅片的所述第一边缘与所述第二幅片的所述第二边缘搭接,形成一个宽度比所述第一幅片的第一宽度和所述第二幅片的第二宽度小的一个搭接区域;
d)提供三个平行的滚子,即:一个中间滚子和两个外滚子,所述两个外滚子位于一条公共轴线上,而所述中间滚子的轴线偏离所述两个外滚子的所述轴线;
e)使所述中间滚子和所述两个外滚子与所述第一幅片和所述第二幅片接触;
f)将切割装置靠近所述中心滚子放置;
g)将所述第一幅片和所述第二幅片放在所述切割装置中间,以切开所述第一幅片的所述第一边缘和所述第二幅片的所述第一边缘;
h)使所述第一幅片的所述切开的第一边缘与所述第二幅片的所述切开的第一边缘搭接;
i)将所述第一幅片与所述第二幅片粘接起来,形成与所述搭接部分一致的一个粘接部分。
8.一种粘接幅片的方法,包括下列步骤:
a)提供一定长度的第一幅片,其中,所述第一幅片具有第一表面,第一边缘和第二边缘,所述第一幅片的所述第一和第二边缘与所述第一幅片的所述长度平行;
b)提供一定长度的第二幅片,其中,所述第二幅片具有第二表面,第一边缘和第二边缘,所述第二幅片的所述第一边缘和第二边缘与所述第二幅片的所述长度平行;
c)将所述第一块幅片面对面地叠加在所述第二幅片上,使所述第一幅片的所述第一边缘与所述第二幅片接触,形成所述第一幅片和第二幅片的两层厚度;
d)在所述第一块幅片的所述第一边缘处,将所述第一幅片和所述第二幅片粘接起来,形成一个靠近所述第一幅片的所述第一个边缘的粘接部分;
e)将所述第一幅片与所述第二幅片分开,使得在靠近所述第一幅片的所述第一边缘的所述粘接部分处,为所述的两层厚度;而在邻近所述粘接部分处,则为所述第一幅片或所述第二幅片的一个单层的厚度;
f)在有一个向量分量与所述第一幅片或第二幅片的所述平面垂直的大致方向上,使所述第一幅片与所述第二幅片在所述粘接部分处第二次粘接。
9.一种粘接幅片的方法,它包括下列步骤:
a)提供一定长度的第一幅片,其中,所述第一幅片具有第一表面,第一边缘和第二边缘,所述第一幅片的所述第一边缘和第二边缘与所述第一幅片的所述长度平行;
b)提供一定长度的第二幅片,其中,所述第二幅片具有第二表面,第一边缘和第二边缘,所述第二幅片的所述第一边缘和第二边缘与所述第二幅片的所述长度平行;
c)围绕着与所述相应的第一边缘平行的折叠线,折叠所述第一幅片和第二幅片,以形成第一幅片和第二幅片,其中,所述第一幅片和所述第二幅片中的每一块幅片都具有两个长度不相等的分支,其中一个所述分支为短分支,另一个为长分支;所述分支的所述长度是在与所述折叠线垂直的方向上测量的;
d)使所述第一幅片的所述短分支与所述第二幅片的所述短分支接触,从而使所述短分支和所述长分支的至少一部分,处在一个公共平面或一个平行平面内;
e)将所述第一幅片和第二幅片粘接起来,形成一个主方向大致与所述相应的第一边缘平行的粘接部分;
f)在大致与所述折叠线垂直的方向上对所述第一幅片和第二幅片施加拉力,使所述第一幅片和第二幅片的所述短分支和所述第一幅片和第二幅片的所述长分支中的至少一部分在一个公共平面内,所述第一幅片和第二幅片的所述长分支的所述部分与所述第一幅片和第二幅片的所述相应的短分支靠近;
g)在有一个向量分量与所述第一幅片和第二幅片的所述公共平面垂直的方向上,第二次将所述第一幅片与第二幅片在所述粘接部分处粘接起来。
10.如前述权利要求中任何一项所述的方法,其特征在于,所述粘接步骤是在所述搭接部分的整个长度上连续进行的,最好是,将所述第一幅片与所述第二幅片粘接起来的步骤包括:形成与所述搭接部分的所述宽度的中点相重合的所述粘接部分;而较理想的是,所述粘接是将粘接剂涂在所述搭接部分的所述宽度上形成的;更理想是,所述粘接是将超声波能量加在所述搭接部分的所述宽度上形成的。
