空调软管
所公开的发明针对空调软管。准确地说,所公开的发明是一种能够经受住其中的高达至少150℃的高温流体流动的汽车空调软管。
已经开发了用于汽车空调的软管,其中,软管或者其它合适的柔性导管构件用于连接制冷设备的主要工作部件。这些软管应当具有良好的柔软性、高的强度、弯成小的半径而没有扭折的能力、相对于内径的小的外经以及对于所包含的流体的不渗透性。此外,这些冷冻软管在机内应用场合经受温度极限,并且还必须满足适当的连接配件要求。
先有技术汽车空调软管采用三层结构。软管的最内的管状层通常由用来把致冷剂流体和压缩机润滑剂保持在软管中而把水分和空气排斥在外面的弹体材料制成。增强的编织物层缠绕在所述内管的外表面。抗臭氧、机油和可能存在于机舱内的其它污染物质的弹体的外层通常挤压成形在所述编织的增强物上。在这类软管中,内层是丙烯腈-丁二烯橡胶或者氯磺化聚乙烯,编织纤维可以是人造丝和其它普通纤维,而外层是氯丁橡胶或者乙烯/丙烯/二烯共聚物(EPDM)。
尽管已经开发了许多致冷剂软管设计,但是,在温度极限下,它们都未能把低的氟里昂渗透性、低的水渗透性、高的柔软性、抗振动性以及良好的连接性能结合在所述软管上。
传统的软管由于其厚度和相应的缺乏柔软性而几乎不提供噪声衰减。可以在汽车的客舱中察觉到所产生的噪声。汽车行业希望尽可能地减小座舱噪声,以便提供安静的乘车环境。软管越柔软,该软管的噪声衰减作用越大。本发明针对具有更大的柔软性因而具有更大的噪声衰减作用的软管。
用于汽车空调中的空调软管组件遇到的正常的工作温度一般在从大约-30℃至大约120℃的范围内。同样,设计规范要求这种软管组件工作在大约-40℃至150℃的温度范围。比较高的温度主要来源于系统的靠近发动机的位置以及在压缩气体致冷剂时产生的热量。
美国专利第4,633,912公开了一种用于氟里昂气体的复合软管,它包括:聚酰胺芯管;具有特殊成分并且直接设置在芯管上的弹体摩擦层;第一增强丝束层;粘合阻挡摩擦层;第二增强丝束层;以及覆盖层。直接设置在芯管上的弹性摩擦层包括:(a)选自乙烯/丙烯/二烯共聚物、丁二烯的共聚物、聚氯丁二烯、聚丁二烯、聚异戊二烯或者它们的混合物的基础橡胶;(b)钙离子源;(c)间苯二酚或者苯酚基粘合剂体系;以及(d)过氧化物或者硫酸硫化剂。据说所述钙源(b)使所述芯管的聚酰胺具有更好的粘合性。在第一和第二增强丝束层之间设置粘合阻挡摩擦层,以便把丝束层之间的摩擦力减至最小,并且,粘合阻挡摩擦层由乙烯和丙烯酸的共聚物制成。使用作为交联剂的含有双-亲二烯基团的卤化丁基橡胶用于所述覆盖层。
美国专利第5,488,974号公开一种用于汽车空调系统的复合软管。该软管包括最内层、中间橡胶层、纤维增强层和外橡胶层,其每一层按照此顺序由内向外形成。最内层由可以通过将聚酰胺和包含羧基的改性的聚烯烃共混而获得的改性的聚酰胺制成,而中间橡胶层可以由通过以下方法获得的橡胶组成制成:每100份可以通过将丁基橡胶和卤化丁基橡胶按照50/50至0/100的重量比共混而获得的橡胶材料,10至50份(重量)硅酸或其盐以及5至15份(重量)溴化烷基酚甲醛树脂共混。
所公开的发明是优选用于汽车空调设备的软管。四层结构的软管呈现高的柔软性、高的气体不渗透性以及耐150℃范围内的高温的性能。

软管的芯层是树脂聚酰胺。聚酰胺树脂由于在不渗透性和柔软性之间提供良好平衡而成为最佳选择。为了提供对于摩擦涂层的粘合力,所述聚酰胺树脂可以由包括聚酰胺树脂和聚烯烃橡胶材料的共混材料制成。为了改进对摩擦涂层的粘合力,应当从摩擦涂层的主要橡胶组分中选择所用的聚烯烃。聚酰胺对聚烯烃的重量比在从95/5至85/15的范围内。作为对应于摩擦涂层的最佳组成的所选用的聚酰胺树脂,具有6%乙烯丙烯二烯橡胶的共混物的尼龙-6是最佳的。经过测定,诸如尼龙66、尼龙11等传统的尼龙不能够像尼龙6那样提供与柔软性和不渗透性结合的所需要的粘合力。
此外,所述聚酰胺树脂是非塑性的。所述芯子可以通过传统的方法、例如挤压的方法制成。虽然在传统上所述树脂的非塑性会产生一种较高弯曲强度和较低柔软性的管子,但是,通过将所述内管的厚度优化而减轻了这种影响。
软管的不同层的厚度与所需要的特性相联系,例如,过分薄的壁厚度或者过分厚的壁厚度带来最后的软管组分的柔软性或扭折问题或者连接的配伍性问题。软管厚度每增加几千分之一厘米,就会降低所述软管的柔软性。对于具有13毫米内径(ID)和大约19.5毫米外经(OD)的软管而言,软管的ID具有13.46毫米的最大值和12.44毫米的最小值,而OD具有19.9毫米的最大值和18.9毫米的最小值。软管的壁厚度在2.72毫米和3.73毫米的范围内。但是,由于软管的每增加的厚度降低了所需要的软管性能,所以,不损失不渗透性并且不产生扭折问题的最小壁厚度是最佳的。根据所公开的发明,对于13毫米ID的软管,最佳壁厚度是大约3.17毫米。
对于13毫米ID的软管,聚酰胺芯管的壁厚度在0.14毫米至0.16毫米的范围内,最佳厚度是0.15毫米。这种厚度提供所需要的没有扭折的柔软性。本专业的技术人员将明白,对于其它尺寸的软管,聚酰胺芯管的壁厚度可以不同,它仍然提供所需要的挠曲性、不渗透性并且没有扭折。

所述弹体的摩擦层包括乙烯丙烯二烯橡胶(EPDM)的基础聚合物。合适的EPDM是:乙烯丙烯降冰片烯三元共聚物;乙烯丙烯-1,4-己二烯三元共聚物;乙烯丙烯二环戊二烯三元共聚物等。摩擦层还包含粘合系统和固化剂。
用于弹体摩擦层的过氧化物固化剂是通常用于这类基础原料(base stock)的过氧化物固化剂。例如以下的过氧化物:过氧化二枯基;α-α-双(叔丁基过氧化)二异丙苯;过氧化苯甲酰;过氧化2,4-二氯苯甲酰;1,1-双(叔丁基过氧化)3,3,5-三甲基环己烷;2,5-二甲基-2,5-双(叔丁基过氧化)己烷;2,5-二甲基-2,5-双(叔丁基过氧化)已炔-3;以及正-丁基4,4双(叔丁基过氧化)戊酸酯。最佳的并且市场上买得到的过氧化物固化剂是由Noury Chemical Corporation生产的Percadox TM 14/40以及由Penwalt Corporation生产的Vul-Cup TM。以100份基础聚合物为基础,使用1份至大约10份过氧化物。由于过氧化物对于早期树脂形成比较不敏感,所以,过氧化物作为固化剂是最佳的。
用于本发明的粘合剂系统是传统上已知的供与过氧化物固化弹体一起使用的粘合剂系统。例如,马来化的1,2-聚丁二烯树脂。
所述摩擦层组成还可以包含常规的或者适当量的各种添加剂。这种添加剂可以包括但不限于:用于防止过快固化的延缓剂;抗氧化剂;加工助剂;诸如碳黑、二氧化硅等的增强剂;以及各种增塑剂。
对于13毫米ID的软管,所述摩擦层的厚度被优化在从大约1.000至1.020毫米范围的厚度,而最佳厚度是1.016毫米。本专业的技术人员将明白,对于其它尺寸内径的软管,所述摩擦层的壁厚度可以改变,它仍然提供所需要的粘合特性。
摩擦阻挡层的外部是增强层。增强层可以包括以足以改善软管结构强度的张力以螺线形缠绕的增强丝束。另一种可供选择的方法是,所述增强层可以是编织层。增强丝束层以这样的角度敷设,使得软管的挠曲将不会导致皱缩或者扭折。已经证明相对于软管中心线的诸如52°至56°的角度是可接受的。最佳情况是,已经证明54°44’或者以下的中心角对于所述螺线形缠绕是有利的。
为了提供本发明的具有极好的强度和柔软性的软管,需要具有高的动态挠曲性能的增强丝束。这里,所述增强丝束是经过粘合处理的aramid纤维。
增强层的厚度取决于丝束的厚度。为了达到软管的所需要的总厚度,对于13毫米ID的软管,增强层具有大约0.625至大约0.645毫米的厚度,而最佳厚度是0.635毫米。
最外的覆盖层位于软管结构的外部。覆盖层是丙烯酸酯橡胶混合物。本发明所需要的是乙烯、丙烯酸酯和具有3个至10个碳原子的不饱和羧酸或者它们的混合物的三元共聚物。所述酸最好是丙烯酸或者甲基丙烯酸。所述三元共聚物至少包括:50摩尔百分比的乙烯;一般从大约0.5至大约10摩尔百分比的所述酸;以及大约10至大约49.5摩尔百分比的烷基丙烯酸酯。
把所选择的三元共聚物或者三元共聚物的组合与固化剂混合。适当的固化剂或者促进剂包括脂肪酸的盐。可以添加另外的固化剂。
本发明的覆盖层组成还可以包含常规的或者适当量的各种添加剂。这类添加剂可以包括但不限于:用于防止过快固化的延缓剂;抗氧化剂;加工助剂;着色剂或者颜料;诸如碳黑、二氧化硅等的增强剂;各种阻燃剂;以及各种增塑剂。
13毫米ID软管的最佳覆盖层厚度在从1.35至1.45毫米的范围内,而最佳厚度是大约1.37毫米。本专业的技术人员将明白,对于其它尺寸的软管,所公开的软管的各层的壁厚度可以改变,同时保持所需要的特性,以便提供高度柔软的管子。
通过参考以下实施例,将更好地理解本发明,所述实施例用来举例说明本发明,但不限制本发明的范围。
实施例
制备具有下面所述各层的13毫米ID的管子。内芯子由具有6%EPDM共混物的尼龙6制成。所述内芯子具有0.15毫米的厚度。在内芯子的外侧涂敷具有表1中所述组成的摩擦涂层。摩擦涂层具有大约1.016毫米的厚度。
以任何传统的方式在摩擦涂层的外侧涂敷具有大约0.635毫米厚度的aramid增强层。已经采用异氰酸酯处理法对所述aramid增强纤维进行处理,以便改善粘合性和动态挠曲性能。
所述增强层的外部是具有表2中所述组成的丙烯酸酯涂层。所述覆盖层具有大约1.37毫米的厚度。所公开的丙烯酸酯组成向软管提供耐高温性能以及极好的静态和动态性能。

所公开的示范性的软管呈现极好的耐高达150℃的耐高温性能、高的静态和动态性能以及高的噪声衰减。虽然已经显示和描述了本发明的实施方案,但是应当理解,能够对其进行许多修改。因此,可以在不背离所指定的和要求的本发明的范围的情况下在结构和细节方面作出各种修改。

Claims (7)

1.一种包括最内层、中间增强层和最外层的软管,其特征在于:
所述最内芯层包含非塑化的聚酰胺;
所述中间增强层包含aramid纤维;以及
所述最外层包含丙烯酸酯橡胶。
2.权利要求1的软管,其中:
所述非塑性的聚酰胺是聚酰胺和聚烯烃橡胶的共混物,并且聚酰胺和聚烯烃橡胶的重量比是95/5至85/15。
3.权利要求2的软管,其中:
所述聚烯烃橡胶是乙烯/丙烯/二烯共聚物(EPDM)橡胶。
4.权利要求1的软管,还包括:
设置在所述最内芯层和所述中间增强层之间的摩擦涂层橡胶层,所述摩擦涂层包含具有不同门尼粘度的两种乙烯丙烯二烯橡胶的50/50重量百分比的共混物以及75份(重量)碳黑。
5.权利要求1的软管,其中:
所述丙烯酸酯橡胶最外层包含具有不同门尼粘度的两种乙烯丙烯酸酯的50/50重量百分比的共混物以及80份(重量)碳黑。
6.一种包括最内层、摩擦涂层、中间增强层和最外层的软管,其特征在于:
所述最内层包含按照95/5至85/15的重量比与EPDM橡胶共混的非塑化的尼龙-6;
所述摩擦涂层包含具有不同门尼粘度的两种EPDM橡胶的50/50重量百分比的共混物以及75份(重量)碳黑;
所述中间增强层包含经过粘合处理的aramid纤维;以及
所述最外层包含具有不同门尼粘度的两种乙烯丙烯酸酯的50/50重量百分比的共混物以及80份(重量)碳黑。
7.权利要求6的软管,其中:尼龙-6与EPDM橡胶的所述重量比是94/6。
