Abstract

Description
技术领域
本发明涉及一种适合用于制冷剂系统(例如车辆、工业和住宅制冷剂系统,例如汽车空调系统)的软管。该软管是用以提供柔性的弹性体材料和用以提供不渗透性的热塑性材料的组合。
背景技术
软管用于传输车辆空调系统中以及工业和住宅制冷剂系统中的制冷剂,并且用于连接制冷装置的主要操作部件的目的。这些软管应具有良好的柔性、高强度、弯曲到小半径而不扭结的能力、相对于内径小的外径以及对所包围的流体的不渗透性。制冷剂软管经受引擎罩下应用的温度极端情况,因此必须能够在它们反复经受高温和低温两者的环境中提供长的使用寿命。在汽车空调应用中采用的空调软管组件所遭受的正常运行温度范围一般为约-30℃-约120℃。典型的设计规格要求这种制冷剂软管能够承受在约-40℃-150℃范围内的运行温度。该较高的温度主要是因为系统紧邻发动机的位置以及来自在压缩作为气体的制冷剂时生成的热量。另外,这些软管必须能够以防漏的方式紧固地连接到制冷装置部件(满足适当的接合连接的需求)。
这些制冷剂软管,例如汽车空调软管,一般具有由最内层、加强层和最外覆盖层组成的三层层状构造。此软管的最内管状层通常由弹性体材料形成,其旨在将制冷剂流体和压缩机滑润剂保持在软管中,同时隔绝湿气和空气。加强编织物层缠绕到该内管的外表面上。该加强纤维层通常是网状结构,由例如聚酯纤维、人造丝纤维或尼龙纤维的编织有机纱线形成。编织纤维通常由聚酯,例如聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯织物(PET)和聚萘二甲酸乙二酯(PEN)构成。耐臭氧、发动机油及其它可能存在于发动机室中的污染材料的弹性体外层通常挤出在该编织加强层上。一般地,管的内层和外层由包括以下橡胶形成:丁基橡胶、三元乙丙橡胶(EPDM)、氯丁二烯橡胶(CR)、丁腈橡胶(NBR)、氢化丁腈橡胶(HNBR)或乙烯丙烯酸共聚物橡胶。阻隔软管的内层通常由CR或丁基橡胶构成。外覆盖物通常由EPDM、CR、丁基橡胶或乙烯丙烯酸共聚物橡胶形成。粘合层通常用在软管的阻隔层与加强层之间。
用于传输制冷剂的软管一般具有高度的柔性,这有助于操作软管并在冷却装置中实施其用途。然而,提供所需程度柔性的橡胶材料通常倾向于具有高透气性。通过加入聚酰胺层(例如尼龙6、尼龙66、改性尼龙6或尼龙6的合金等)作为内层,已作出了改进常规橡胶软管对制冷剂渗透耐受性的尝试。然而,这些聚酰胺层的使用虽然降低了渗透率,但还降低了软管的柔性。要实现所需特征的可接受的折衷,尼龙内芯层的厚度常规为至少0.1mm(0.004英寸)。美国专利4,633,912公开了这种具有聚酰胺混合芯管的软管。
软管特征可在于阻隔软管或胶合软管(veneer hose),两者之间的区别在于形成最内层的材料的类型。阻隔软管具有由弹性体材料形成的最内层且阻隔层位于最内层外。在阻隔层为最内层的软管中,该软管被称为胶合软管。一些应用可使用任一类型的软管,例如燃料软管,而其它应用可能需要特定的内部材料并因而仅一种类型的软管合适。
美国专利4,633,912公开了一种用于氟里昂气体的复合软管,包括聚酰胺芯管、具有特定组成并直接设置在芯管上的弹性摩擦层、第一加强线股层、粘合阻隔摩擦层、第二加强线股层、然后是覆盖层。直接位于芯管上的弹性摩擦层包括(a)选自EPDM、丁二烯共聚物、聚氯丁二烯、聚丁二烯、聚异戊二烯或者它们的混合物的底胶;(b)钙离子源;(c)间苯二酚或基于苯酚的粘合剂体系;以及(d)过氧化物或含硫硫化剂。据称钙源(b)使得与芯管的聚酰胺更好粘合。存在于第一加强线股层与第二加强线股层之间的粘合阻隔摩擦层设置用以使线股的摩擦最小化,并且由乙烯和丙烯酸的共聚物制成。对于覆盖层,使用含有双-二烯亲和物的卤化丁基橡胶作为交联剂。
美国专利5,488,974公开了一种用于汽车空调系统的复合软管。此软管由最内层、中间橡胶层、纤维加强层和外部橡胶层组成,它们中的每一个以该顺序从内侧形成。最内层由可通过将聚酰胺和含羧基的改性聚烯烃混合得到的改性聚酰胺形成,而中间橡胶层由橡胶组合物形成,所述橡胶组合物可通过以下混合物得到:每100份的可通过将丁基橡胶和卤化丁基橡胶以50/50到0/100的重量比混合得到的橡胶材料,有10到50重量份的硅酸或其盐和5到15重量份的溴化烷基酚甲醛树脂。
美国专利6,376,036涉及一种复合柔性软管,其优选用于汽车空调系统中,具有提高的热阻。该软管由最内芯层、摩擦橡胶层、中间加强层和外部覆盖层组成。最内层是非塑化的聚酰胺,其混有相对于摩擦涂层的主橡胶成分的小部分聚烯烃。该摩擦涂层由重量比为50/50的两种EPDM橡胶的橡胶组合物和75重量份的碳黑形成。中间纤维加强层由芳族聚酰胺形成。外层是丙烯酸酯橡胶,包括重量比为50/50的两种乙烯丙烯酸酯和80重量份的碳黑的混合物。
美国专利6,941,975公开了一种适合用于制冷剂系统的软管。此软管具有由至少两个热塑性树脂层形成的阻隔层。所述层中的至少一个是乙烯树脂。选择所述树脂使得软管具有基本为零的渗透率。美国专利6,941,975更具体地公开了一种软管,其包括内阻隔层、直接粘合到该内阻隔层的径向外中间层、加强层和覆盖层,其中该阻隔层由至少两个树脂层形成并且其中所述两个树脂层由两种不同的材料形成且所述树脂层中的至少一个是乙烯树脂。
发明内容
本发明的制冷剂软管提供良好的柔性、增加的耐温性、优良的耐渗透性并且能够以降低的成本商业制造。此制冷剂软管使用由EPDM橡胶构成的管、由丁基橡胶构成的结合层以及由三元乙丙橡胶(EPDM)构成的覆盖层。本发明的软管中的加强层通常是以一上/一下模式织造的聚酯或芳族聚酰胺织物。本发明更具体地涉及一种制冷剂软管,该制冷剂软管包括:(a)芯层,其中该芯层由橡胶聚合物构成;(b)渗透抑制层,该渗透抑制层在该芯层上,其中该渗透抑制层由一个或多个热塑性聚合物层构成;(c)结合层,该结合层在该渗透抑制层上,其中该结合层由丁基橡胶构成;(d)加强层,该加强层在结合层上,其中该加强层是由玻璃纤维、棉纤维、聚酯纤维或芳族聚氨酯纤维构成的织造织物;以及(e)覆盖层,该覆盖层在该加强层上,其中该覆盖层由三元乙丙橡胶构成。

具体实施方式
本发明的制冷剂软管10在图1中说明。软管10相对于软管的径向方向和纵向软管轴线具有芯层12。芯层12由通常为天然或合成橡胶的弹性体材料形成。在芯层12上是渗透抑制层14。该渗透抑制层14被由丁基橡胶构成的结合层16覆盖。该结合层16被加强层18覆盖,而该加强层被覆盖层20覆盖。
芯层12由通常为天然橡胶或合成橡胶的弹性体材料形成。例如,在制造芯层中使用的弹性体材料可为氯丁二烯橡胶、丁腈橡胶(NBR)、乙丙橡胶、三元乙丙橡胶(EPDM)、丁基橡胶、氯磺化聚乙烯橡胶(CSM)、乙烯丙烯酸橡胶(AEM)、氯化聚乙烯橡胶(CPE)或溴化异丁烯对甲基苯乙烯(BIMS)。芯层12也可由热塑性弹性体或热塑性硫化橡胶形成,例如混有EPDM、NBR、丁基橡胶或丙烯酸橡胶的聚丙烯、聚乙烯或其它聚烯烃。芯层12将优选由EPDM橡胶或者EPDM橡胶与丁基橡胶或卤化丁基橡胶的混合构成并将通常具有在0.025英寸(0.635mm)-0.030英寸(0.762mm)范围内的厚度。
渗透抑制层14通常由一个或多个具有低渗透率的热塑性材料层构成。合适的低渗透率热塑性材料包括聚烯烃热塑性树脂,例如高密度聚乙烯(HDPE)、超高分子量聚乙烯(UHMWPE)、聚丙烯(PP)和乙烯丙烯共聚物热塑性树脂;以及聚酰胺热塑性树脂,例如尼龙6(N6)、尼龙66(N66)、尼龙46(N46)、尼龙11(N11)、尼龙12(N12)、尼龙610(N610)、尼龙612(N612)、尼龙6/66共聚物(N6/66)、尼龙6/66/610共聚物(N6/66/610)、尼龙MXD6(MXD6)、尼龙6T、尼龙6/6T共聚物、尼龙66/PP共聚物、尼龙66/PPS共聚物和/或这些尼龙的改性形式。尼龙还可选自PA6、PA66、PA610、PA612和PA11。要实现完成软管的低渗透,当使用聚酰胺树脂或聚酰胺树脂的混合物时,聚酰胺优选是非塑化的。向聚酰胺添加增塑剂提高材料的柔性;然而,它也降低尼龙的渗透性特征。高度优选使用尼龙作为渗透抑制层并且对于该渗透抑制层其厚度为0.002英寸(0.05mm)-0.01英寸(0.254mm)。例如,在很多情形中,渗透抑制层的厚度为0.003英寸(0.0762mm)-0.005英寸(0.127mm)。
结合层16由丁基橡胶或卤化丁基橡胶构成并且厚度通常为0.02英寸(0.508mm)-0.05英寸(1.27mm)。所能采用的丁基橡胶是异丁烯和异戊二烯的共聚物。所能采用的卤化丁基橡胶包括溴化丁基橡胶和氯化丁基橡胶。
加强层18可通过纱线的编结、螺旋、编织或螺旋编织形成。纱线可选自常规的软管加强纱线,例如玻璃纤维、棉纤维、聚酯纤维或芳族聚酰胺纤维或者任意这些纤维的混合物。本发明的软管中的加强层通常是以一上/一下模式编织的聚酯或芳族聚酰胺织物。聚酯织物(例如聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯织物和聚萘二甲酸乙二酯织物)通常是优选的,出于经济上的原因,聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯织物是最典型的。
在本发明实践中采用的覆盖层20由EPDM橡胶构成,并且厚度为0.03英寸(0.762mm)-0.06英寸(1.524mm)。
软管10通常具有不大于0.001克/厘米/天的R134制冷剂的渗透率,优选不大于0.0003克/厘米/天的R134制冷剂的渗透率。一般认为这样低的渗透率为零渗透率。通常,要实现这样低的渗透率,在软管中采用薄金属层。本发明实现非常低的达到零的渗透率而不在软管内使用金属箔或层。
软管的不同层的厚度与期望的特征相关,因为过薄的壁厚或过厚的壁厚带来最终软管组合物的柔性或扭结问题或接合相容性问题。软管的厚度每增加千分之几厘米,软管的柔性就降低。这些软管通常具有在约5mm-约30mm范围内的内径。在很多情形中,本发明的软管具有在约6mm-约25mm范围内的内径。软管的壁厚在2.72mm-3.73mm的范围内。但是,由于软管的每个增加的厚度都降低软管的期望性能,所以在不损失防渗透性和不产生扭结问题的情况下的最小壁厚是优选的。对于本发明的13mm ID软管,该优选壁厚通常在约2.5mm-3.5mm的范围内并通常为约3.17mm。
对于13mm ID软管,芯层的壁厚通常在0.14mm-0.16mm的范围内,优选厚度为约0.15mm。此厚度在不扭折的情况下提供所需的柔性。本领域技术人员将认识到,对于其它尺寸的软管,聚酰胺芯的壁厚可以不同,然而仍提供必需的柔韧性、防渗透性和不扭结。
在本发明的软管中使用的橡胶成分能利用常规的过氧化物固化剂固化。例如,在固化软管的橡胶成分中可使用过氧化物,例如过氧化二异丙苯、α-α-双(过氧化叔丁基)二异丙基苯、过氧化苯甲酰、2,4-二氯过氧化苯甲酰、1,1-双(叔丁基过氧基)3,3,5-三甲基环己烷、2,5-二甲基-2,5-双(叔丁基过氧基)己烷、2,5-二甲基-2,5-双(叔丁基过氧基)己炔-3和正丁基4,4-双(叔丁基过氧基)戊酸酯。最优选且市售可得的过氧化物固化剂是来自Noury Chemical Corporation的PercadoxTM14/40和来自Penwalt Corporation的Vul-CupTM。通常基于100份的基础聚合物使用1-约10份的过氧化物。过氧化物优选作为固化剂,因为它们较不敏感,不会过早交联(过早硫化)。在本发明的软管中采用的橡胶成分还可包含各种常规或适当量的添加剂。这些添加剂可包括而不限于用以防止不适当的快速固化的阻滞剂、抗氧化剂、加工助剂、增强剂和例如碳黑、二氧化硅等填料。
根据本发明,可用于将各个部件层粘合到其它部件层的粘合剂体系是通常已知用于过氧化物固化的弹性体的粘合剂体系。例如,顺酐化1,2-聚丁二烯树脂以及各种增塑剂。
尽管为了说明本发明的目的而显示了特定的代表性实施方案和细节,但是对于本领域技术人员显而易见的是,在不偏离本发明的范围的情况下,能够在其中进行各种变化和修改。
Claims (20)
1.一种制冷剂软管,其包括:(a)芯层,其中所述芯层由橡胶聚合物构成;(b)渗透抑制层,所述渗透抑制层在所述芯层上,其中所述渗透抑制层由热塑性聚合物构成;(c)结合层,所述结合层在所述渗透抑制层上,其中所述结合层由丁基橡胶构成;(d)加强层,所述加强层在所述结合层上,其中所述加强层是由玻璃纤维、棉纤维、聚酯纤维或芳族聚酰胺纤维构成的织造织物;以及(e)覆盖层,所述覆盖层在所述加强层上,其中所述覆盖层由三元乙丙橡胶构成。
2.如权利要求1中所述的制冷剂软管,其中所述芯层由EPDM橡胶、EPDM与丁基橡胶的混合物或EPDM橡胶与卤化丁基橡胶的混合物构成。
3.如权利要求1中所述的制冷剂软管,其中所述渗透抑制层由一个或多个尼龙层构成。
4.如权利要求1中所述的制冷剂软管,其中所述加强层是织造聚酯织物。
5.如权利要求4中所述的制冷剂软管,其中所述织造聚酯织物是织造聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯织物。
6.如权利要求4中所述的制冷剂软管,其中所述织造聚酯织物以一上/一下模式编织。
7.如权利要求1中所述的制冷剂软管,其中所述加强层是织造织物。
8.如权利要求7中所述的制冷剂软管,其中所述织造织物以一上/一下模式编织。
9.如权利要求1中所述的制冷剂软管,其中所述覆盖层包括针孔。
10.根据权利要求1所述的软管,其中所述软管具有不大于0.0020克/厘米/天的R134制冷剂的渗透率。
11.如权利要求1中所述的制冷剂软管,其中所述芯层具有在0.025英寸-0.030英寸范围内的厚度。
12.如权利要求1中所述的制冷剂软管,其中所述渗透抑制层具有在0.002英寸-0.010英寸范围内的厚度。
13.如权利要求1中所述的制冷剂软管,其中所述结合层具有在0.02英寸-0.05英寸范围内的厚度。
14.如权利要求1中所述的制冷剂软管,其中所述覆盖层具有在0.03英寸-0.08英寸范围内的厚度。
15.如权利要求1中所述的制冷剂软管,其中所述芯层由天然橡胶构成。
16.如权利要求3中所述的制冷剂软管,其中所述尼龙选自:尼龙6、尼龙66、尼龙46、尼龙11、尼龙12、尼龙610、尼龙612、尼龙6/66共聚物、尼龙6/66/610共聚物、尼龙MXD6、尼龙6T、尼龙6/6T共聚物、尼龙66/PP共聚物、尼龙66/PPS共聚物。
17.如权利要求16中所述的制冷剂软管,其中所述尼龙是非塑化的。
18.如权利要求15中所述的制冷剂软管,其中所述尼龙选自PA6、PA66、PA610、PA612和PA11。
19.如权利要求1中所述的制冷剂软管,其中所述软管具有在5mm-30mm范围内的内径。
20.如权利要求18中所述的制冷剂软管,其中所述软管具有在6mm-25mm范围内的外径。
