Abstract

Description

访问电信网络的方法和系统
本发明涉及电信领域,更具体地说,本发明涉及通过电信网络建立连接的系统和方法。
在常规的电信系统中,需要快速、有效的电信连接业务的用户,往往要从电话业务提供者那里租用一条专用线路。例如,铁路运输业、货车运输业、通宵邮递服务业、FBI、保密部门、大型公共事业公司以及各联邦、州和地方政府代理机构等,要求在广大的地理区域上快速地传送无线电信。目前,这要通过从基站到中央交换位置的租借专用线路进行。
这种租用线路的费用,通常按昂贵的一次性支付或按月支付,而且由于大部分基站都是偶尔使用,所以所花的费用与实际使用时间是不成比例的。经常,将多个基站连接于一条线路,而当用户的要求改变时,这些常规的专用多点线路很难重新配置。此外,专用连接线的各个分支线路易受噪声、不均衡的干扰,并且很难进行故障隔离及重新编路,因而有时会导致长时间的业务中断。另外,由于高的租用设备成本、昂贵的维修及运行费用,所以专用线路不具备网络冗余性。常规租用线路在多重网络之间还缺少网际互联能力,不支持电台移动性(即漫游),而且缺乏增强的通信性能。
因此,需要开发没有与常规租用线路有关的附带费用及其他缺点的快速电信连接。
本发明提供一种快速的电信连接,而没有与常规租用线路有关的费用及其他缺点。本发明的优点由通过电信网络连接呼叫的系统和方法实现。按照本发明,与公用电话交换网连接的基站,包括呼叫处理机、存储器及收发信机。该存储器包括一个数据库,存有用于通过公用电话交换网与目的台建立电话连接的无线台用拨号指令。该收发信机接收来自无线台的呼叫请求,而呼叫处理机响应该呼叫请求,访问数据库并根据无线台用拨号指令进行拨号呼叫,以便通过公用电话交换网与目的台连接。
本发明用实例进行说明而对附图没有限制,在附图中,同一参照编号表示相同的元件。
图1是表示本发明的用于访问电信网络的系统的简略框图。
图2是表示本发明的用于访问电信网络的系统的流程图。
本发明提供一种用于进行优先线路连接电信服务的有效、低费用的解决方案,可以通过公用电话交换网(PSTN)快速地建立连接,而不会招致与常规专用线路业务有关的高额花费。本发明有利于电信用户用来快速地建立与目的台的时间进程严格的连接通道,同时可以获得PSTN连接的经济使用率。按照本发明,多个用户可以使用已通过PSTN业务形成的连接,建立一个可以根据期望的用户通信量调度表快速而有效地产生和停止呼叫连接的分时共用系统。此外,还可以采用众所周知的DTMF检测和转接技术,以进一步增强本发明提供的快速电信互联业务。
图1示出本发明的用于通过公用电话交换网(PSTN)10快速建立连接的的系统框图。PSTN10包括由中继线13互联的多个交换机(SW)12和中央局(CO)11。多个基站14以熟知的方式连接于中央局。基站14以熟知的方式与无线终端连接,其中仅示出无线终端20。无线终端20可以是固定的,也可以是移动的。
各基站14包括与存储器16和收发信机19联接的呼叫处理机15。存储器16包括存储用于呼叫处理机15的信息的程序数据空间部分17、及存储用户数据库的存储空间部分18。用户数据库18包含与用户对各无线台20的拨号信息有关的信息。用户数据库18还包含对各无线台20的用于选择目的台的呼叫路由选择信息。呼叫处理机15执行声频和音调检测、存储、及与ISDN和(或)POTS线路接口以及数字语音处理有关的转接。当ISDN不能利用时,呼叫处理机15提供仅用于话音的POTS拨号线路的能力及用于控制接口的X.25线路的能力。收发信机19以熟知的方式操作,与移动台20进行通信。
图2示出本发明的用于访问电信网络的系统的操作21的流程图。当在步骤22中收到来自例如按电台识别号唯一识别出的电台20即无线台20的呼叫请求时,在步骤23中,呼叫处理机15确认该呼叫请求,并在步骤24中访问用户数据库18,以便获得与无线台20相关联的拨号指令。然后,在步骤25中,呼叫处理机15按照该无线台用拨号指令向目的台拨号,以便在步骤26中采用与电台20及该呼叫目的台有关的预定路由通道建立经由PSTN10到目的台的电信连接。在完成该呼叫后,在步骤27中,可由来自无线台20或目的台的终结信号将该连接断开。
基站14还将用户的话音信号记录在存储器16内,以使用户可以在与该目的台建立连接之前挂机,因此,特别是在会话较短的情况下,可以使用户减少等待时间。当连接建立时,基站14则向目的台重放该话音信号。此外,该预定的连接通道可以由多个不同用户根据对各用户分配的具体时间周期按分时方式共用。为了根据日通信量模式进一步增强后继呼叫或例行预定通道连接时间的快速电信连接性,即使在用户发出终结信号之后,也可以在预定连接通道建立后在步骤28中将其维持起来。
虽然本发明已结合所给出的实施例进行了说明,但应该理解和认识到,可以进行修改而不脱离本发明的基本实质和范围。

Claims (9)

1.一种通过电信网络连接呼叫的方法,它包括以下步骤:在基站接收来自无线台的呼叫请求;在基站处访问存有用于通过公用电话交换网与目的台建立电话连接的无线台用拨号指令的数据库;及按照该无线台用拨号指令进行拨号呼叫,以便通过公用电话交换网与目的台连接。
2.根据权利要求1所述的方法,还包括按照该无线台用拨号指令,采用预定路由通道建立从基站通过公用电话交换网到目的台的呼叫连接的步骤。
3.根据权利要求2所述的方法,其特征在于:该接收呼叫请求的步骤包括接收话音信号及存储话音信号的步骤,该方法还包括:当通过公用电话交换网连接呼叫时,将所存储的话音信号发送到目的台的步骤。
4.根据权利要求3所述的方法,其特征在于:无线台是移动台。
5.根据权利要求3所述的方法,其特征在于:建立呼叫连接的步骤是建立与其他无线台分时共用的连接。
6.一种与公用电话交换网连接的基站,该基站包括:收发信机,用于接收来自无线台的呼叫请求;存储器,包括一个数据库,存有用于通过公用电话交换网与目的台建立电话连接的无线台用拨号指令;及呼叫处理机,响应该呼叫请求,访问数据库并根据无线台用拨号指令进行拨号呼叫,以便通过公用电话交换网与目的台连接。
7.根据权利要求6所述的基站,其特征在于:在呼叫处理机访问数据库之前,存储器存储由收发信机从无线台接收的话音信号,当通过公用电话交换网连接呼叫时,将该存储的话音信号发送到目的台。
8.根据权利要求7所述的基站,其特征在于:无线台是移动台。
9.根据权利要求7所述的基站,其特征在于:所建立的呼叫连接是与其他无线台分时共用的连接。
