The spot test device with the test object is applied to the test part of the test object by using hypoallergenic adhesive tape, and is evenly applied to the skin by lightly pressing with palm for 24 hours. The skin reaction was observed according to the grading standard of table 1 30min (after disappearance of the indentation), 24h and 48h after removal of the test article plaque test device, respectively, and the observation results were recorded.

As can be seen from the patch results of table 2: the safety of the examples 1 to 11 and the skin reaction grading of the skin closed patch test of the comparative examples 1 to 5 are 0 grade, which shows that all the components in the formula are safe and low-irritation or non-irritation, provides a basis and a premise for subsequent other efficacy tests, and indirectly proves that the composition has natural, non-irritation and mild characteristics.
2. Human body efficacy test
1. Purpose of the experiment
160 samples of healthy subjects with age of 20-60 years, facial skin stratum corneum moisture content basic value below 60c.u, skin moisture loss basic value above 15 g/h/square meter and obvious black eye are recruited to use the test samples, and the black eye removal, moisture preservation and repair efficacy of the test samples are comprehensively evaluated by adopting methods of instrument testing and image analysis.

3. Test sample and method of use
The test samples prepared by adding the compositions of examples 1 to 11 and comparative examples 1 to 5 to a conventional cream base for external use contain a plant essential oil composition having the effects of removing dark circles, moisturizing and repairing 5% by mass of the total mass of the cream. 160 subjects were divided into 16 groups of 10 persons, and the samples prepared in examples 1 to 11 and comparative examples 1 to 5 were used once in the morning and once in the evening, respectively.
4. Subject information
Selecting 160 suitable subjects, wherein 100 women and 60 men, all subjects in the group meet the following inclusion and exclusion criteria:
4.1. inclusion criteria
4.1.1. Healthy men/women aged 20-60 years;
4.1.2. the moisture content of the horny layer of the facial skin is below 60c.u;
4.1.3. the basic value of the facial skin percutaneous water loss is more than 15 g/h/square meter;
4.1.4. according to the black eye level standard picture, the black eye of the volunteer is graded by an evaluator, and the grade is between 1 and 5;
4.1.5. the device can be well matched with testers, and the regularity of life can be kept during the research period;
4.1.6. the system can read and understand all contents of the informed consent and voluntarily sign the informed consent;
4.1.7. during the test period, the consent was not to use any cosmetics, drugs and health products that have an impact on the outcome;
4.2. exclusion criteria:
4.2.1. those who use antihistamines for nearly one week or immunosuppressants for nearly one month;
4.2.2. in the last two months, any anti-inflammatory drug is applied to the tested part;
4.2.3. the subject has a clinically unvulcanized inflammatory skin condition;
4.2.4. insulin dependent diabetes mellitus patients;
4.2.5. patients suffering from asthma or other chronic respiratory diseases undergoing therapy;
4.2.6. those receiving anti-cancer chemotherapy within approximately 6 months;
4.2.7. patients with immunodeficiency or autoimmune disease;
4.2.8. lactating or pregnant women;
4.2.9. bilateral mastectomy and bilateral underarm lymph node resection;
4.2.10. the judgment of the test result is influenced by scars, pigments, atrophy, port wine stains, uneven complexion, folliculitis or other flaws on the skin to be tested;
4.2.11. participation in other clinical trial investigators;
4.2.12. those with high constitutional sensitivity;
4.2.13. non-volunteer participants or those who cannot complete the prescribed content as required by the trial.
5. Testing instrument
5.1. Facial image analyzer VISIA-CR.
5.2. Skin moisture test probe CM825.
5.3. Skin moisture loss test probe TM Hex.

7. Test environment
The test has environment temperature of 20.0-22.0 deg.c and environment humidity of 40.0-60.0%. The subject could not use any cosmetics and skin care products on the day of testing and should be allowed to rest in the test environment for at least 30 minutes before testing.
8. Test flow
Eligible subjects were selected according to the 4.1 inclusion criteria and 4.2 exclusion criteria and signed an informed consent form. Before the test, the face is cleaned by clean water, then the face is rested in a test environment for at least 30 minutes, then VISIA shooting, the water content of the skin stratum corneum and the skin percutaneous water loss basic value are measured, the sample is continuously used for 28 days, and the sample returns to a laboratory for repeated index measurement after being used for 14 days and 28 days respectively.
9. Data analysis
And counting the measured values of each measuring area, wherein the measured values comprise quantity, mean value, standard deviation and the like.
The difference between the base value (D0) of each test area and the return visit values (D14 and D28) is calculated.
If the test data is normal distribution, performing statistical analysis by adopting a t test method; and if the test data is in abnormal distribution, performing statistical analysis by adopting a rank sum test method.
The statistical methods all adopt a two-tail test, and the test level a =0.05.
Data analysis was performed using SPSS26 statistical software. The basis values (D0) and the return visit values (D14 and D28) of the parameters are differentially analyzed using repeated measures analysis of variance or generalized estimation equations. Statistical significance differences were labeled with p <0.05, p <0.01, p <0.001 (p <0.05 indicates significant differences, p <0.01 indicates very significant differences, and p <0.001 indicates very significant differences).
10. Test results

Note: the larger the ITA value, the lighter the skin tone and vice versa.
As can be seen from the results of table 4: the black eye lightening effect of the embodiment 1-11 is obviously better than that of the comparative example 1-5, although the comparative example is effective, the effect of the comparative example is far less than that of the embodiment, the highest difference value of the comparative example can reach 6.88 and 7.66, the ITA DEG value of the comparative example is increased along with the increase of time, and the black eye lightening effect of the composition is obvious when the composition is kept for long time use. And statistical analysis was performed using SPSS to determine that there was a significant difference between the baseline value (D0) and each of the revisit values (D14 and D28) of examples 1-11, P <0.01. This demonstrates that the continuous use of the samples prepared in examples 1 to 11 has a significant effect on lightening dark circles.
10.2. Water content of stratum corneum of skin

Note: the larger the measurement, the higher the water content of the stratum corneum.
As can be seen from the results of table 5: the improvement effect of the water content of the stratum corneum of examples 1 to 11 was significantly better than that of comparative examples 1 to 5, and statistical analysis using SPSS showed a very significant difference between the basal value (D0) and each return visit value (D14 and D28) of examples 1 to 11, P <0.001. This shows that the samples prepared in examples 1 to 11 were continuously used to significantly improve the water content of the stratum corneum of the skin and have moisturizing effect. As can be seen from the difference (D28-D0), the difference between examples 10 and 11 reaches 19.52 and 14.52, which is the example with the highest rate of change, and also indicates that the moisturizing effect is the best. Comparative examples (except comparative example 4) also had moisturizing effects, but the moisturizing effects were 2.29 at the highest rate of change compared to the examples, and were 8.5 times worse than the highest example, and the long-lasting moisturizing efficacy of the examples was also demonstrated.

As can be seen from the results of table 6: all examples had different degrees of skin barrier efficacy from all comparative examples (except comparative example 4), but examples 1 to 11 all had better improvement effects on the skin transdermal water loss value than comparative examples 1 to 5, and statistical analysis using SPSS showed a significant difference between the base value (D0) and each of the revisit values (D14 and D28) of examples 1 to 11, P <0.01. This indicates that the samples prepared by using examples 1-11 continuously have significant efficacy in repairing the skin barrier, and example 11 works best, changing from the initial 17.87 to the final 8.00, with a difference of 9.87, and a significant reduction in the TEWL value of the skin transepidermal water loss, and also indicates that the best repairing efficacy is achieved when the components of the composition work in combination.
Claims (10)
1. The plant essential oil composition with the effects of removing dark eye circles, moisturizing and repairing is characterized by comprising the following components in parts by weight: 1 to 6 parts of geranium oil, 50 to 80 parts of juniper wood oil, 50 to 80 parts of origanum vulgare flower oil and 15 to 25 parts of spreading beautyberry leaf oil.
2. The plant essential oil composition with the effects of removing dark eye circles, moisturizing and repairing according to claim 1, which is characterized by comprising the following components in parts by weight: 2 to 5 parts of geranium oil, 55 to 75 parts of juniper oil, 55 to 75 parts of Gan Niuzhi flower oil and 17 to 22 parts of spreading beautyberry leaf oil.
3. The plant essential oil composition with the effects of removing dark eye circles, moisturizing and repairing is characterized by comprising the following components in parts by weight: 1 to 6 parts of geranium oil, 50 to 80 parts of juniper oil, 50 to 80 parts of origanum vulgare flower oil, 15 to 25 parts of spreading beautyberry leaf oil, 29 to 39 parts of bark oil of Cedar pine and 1 to 5 parts of vetiver oil.
4. The plant essential oil composition with the effects of removing dark eye circles, moisturizing and repairing according to claim 3, which is characterized by comprising the following components in parts by weight: 3-5 parts of geranium oil, 60-70 parts of juniper oil, 60-70 parts of origanum vulgare flower oil, 18-20 parts of spreading beautyberry leaf oil, 30-37 parts of bark oil of dendracaena mollis and 1-4 parts of vetiver oil.

The plant essential oil composition with the effects of removing dark eye circles, moisturizing and repairing is characterized by comprising the following components in parts by weight: 1 to 6 parts of geranium oil, 50 to 80 parts of juniper oil, 50 to 80 parts of origanum vulgare flower oil, 15 to 25 parts of spreading beautyberry leaf oil and 1 to 3 parts of bitter orange leaf/twig oil.

The plant essential oil composition with the effects of removing dark eye circles, moisturizing and repairing according to claim 5, which is characterized by comprising the following components in parts by weight: 2 to 5 parts of geranium oil, 55 to 75 parts of juniper oil, 55 to 75 parts of Gan Niuzhi flower oil, 17 to 22 parts of spreading beautyberry leaf oil and 2 to 3 parts of bitter orange leaf/twig oil.
7. The plant essential oil composition with the effects of removing dark eye circles, moisturizing and repairing is characterized by comprising the following components in parts by weight: 1-6 parts of geranium oil, 50-80 parts of juniper wood oil, 50-80 parts of origanum vulgaris flower oil, 15-25 parts of platymilus chinensis leaf oil, 29-39 parts of northern African cedar bark oil, 1-5 parts of vetiver oil and 1-3 parts of bitter orange leaf/twig oil.

The plant essential oil composition with the effects of removing dark eye circles, moisturizing and repairing according to claim 7, which is characterized by comprising the following components in parts by weight: 3-5 parts of geranium oil, 60-70 parts of juniper oil, 60-70 parts of origanum majorana flower oil, 18-20 parts of spreading beautyberry leaf oil, 30-37 parts of bark oil of African cedar, 1-4 parts of vetiver root oil and 2-3 parts of bitter orange leaf/twig oil.
9. The use of the plant essential oil composition with the effects of removing dark eye circles, moisturizing and repairing as claimed in claims 1-8 as a skin care product additive.
10. The application of the plant essential oil composition with the effects of removing dark circles, moisturizing and repairing as claimed in claim 9, is characterized in that the addition amount of the composition is 0.5% -8% of the total mass of the cosmetics.
