背景技术
患者的微创和更小侵入性的外科手术以及介入治疗对患者而言通常更安全、更快速且创伤更小。因此,相比于侵入性更大的外科手术的形式(包括普通和开放性外科手术),这些手术涉及更少的炎症、术后疼痛、感染风险以及减少的愈合时间。
在医疗应用中,侵入性更小的方法通常涉及利用用于诊断、治疗或操纵的手动或远程器械进行的或者直接或者远程的可视化。应用包括使用小切口(被称为小开胸切口)和外科手术部位直接可视化的外科手术。替代性地,可以使用一种或多种形式的远程可视化,诸如使用柔性结肠镜的结肠的检视或使用腹腔镜的外科手术部位的可视化。

可以将这些和其他观察镜插入穿过自然腔口(诸如,口、窦、耳、尿道、肛门和阴道)以及穿过患者的皮肤、体腔、头盖骨、关节中的切口和基于端口的开口或其他医疗指示的进入点。在使用这些医疗观察镜的可视化的情况下的内窥镜的诊断用途的示例包括:研究疾病的症状,诸如消化系统的痼疾(例如,恶心、呕吐、腹痛、胃肠道出血);或确认诊断(例如通过针对贫血、出血、炎症和癌症执行活检);或疾病的外科手术治疗(诸如去除破裂的阑尾或烧灼胃内出血部位)。
直接和远程可视化装置(诸如在内窥镜、机器人和其他医疗手术中使用的观察镜)通过使用图像捕获元件以多种方式向观察者传输图像,所述图像捕获元件包括:(i)在观察镜的远端处的物镜与目镜之间的中继透镜;(ii)光纤;(iii)电荷耦合装置(CCD)和互补金属氧化物半导体(CMOS)传感器,以及为本领域合理技术人员所已知的其他图像捕获和传输方法。通常的内窥镜由保持图像捕获元件的元件和(常常)照亮观察镜的视野的光源(诸如,由LED或光纤系统引导的光)组成。经常地,视频捕获系统连接到可视化装置以在显示器上显示在可视化装置的使用期间能够由用户观察的视频图像。系统可以包括通过手动调节来调节显示器的焦点的能力或与光学成像装置一起使用的视频处理器系统中的自动聚焦能力。
在医疗和非医疗程序中,额外的装置与远程可视化装置一起使用以实现治疗或修复。例如,在医疗应用的情况下,常见的是使用单独的装置(诸如,抓持件)来操纵和移动组织以获得不同的有利位置,和使用第三装置来烧灼或烧蚀组织(如果存在能够用这种方法有效地治疗的出血或疾病)。常常通过不同的通达点(诸如,单独的切口或端口)使用这些装置,或通过被设计到某些观察镜(诸如,结肠镜)内的工作通道使用这些装置。
存在对通过添加用于与观察镜和其他光学元件一起使用的更多治疗和修复能力来改进组织和其他物质的整体可视化和操纵的需要。
发明内容
本公开的实施方案通过提供一种装置来克服现有技术的问题,所述装置包括光学元件、一个或多个传导性涂层和至少一个连接器区域以将能量递送到装置。传导性层涂层可以是至少部分光学透明的。其可包括导电氧化物(诸如,氧化钛或氧化铝)或其他传导性材料。
连接器区域可配置成用于连接到能量供给源。至能量供给源的连接可以是装置的一部分。而且,装置可连接到导管(诸如,通过挠性晶体管或导线)、绳或连接到连接器和能量供给源的其他元件。能量供给源可以是装置的一部分。能量供给源可以包括电能发生器、电外科发生器、消融发生器、氩气发生器、超声发生器、等离子体发生器或任何其他形式的发生器或能够产生能量并将其传输到或跨越光学元件或传导性涂层的其他能量供给源(包括电池)。
装置可被可移除地放置在远程可视化装置上。装置也可以被设计为远程可视化装置(诸如,观察镜)的永久元件。
光学成像元件可配置成清晰示出(shed)流体、碎屑和颗粒物质,以与组织或其他物质保持距离,或接触组织或其他物质,以及以操纵和移动组织或其他物质,包括操纵、使组织重新定向从而符合期望形状或解剖。传导性涂层可配置成生成足够的能量以改变组织或其他物质。可将一个或多个传导性涂层应用到装置以产生单个电极来改变组织或其他物质。也可以以多种图案将传导性涂层应用在装置上,以产生多个电极来以多于一种方式改变组织或其他物质。组织或物质改变可例如包括:烧蚀、消融、烧灼、成形、封闭、解剖、清除、切除、切割和凝结组织;蒸发血液或流体;激活和固化通过能量被激活的胶和其他化学品或制剂;以及与能量的递送以操纵或改变物质相关联的其他结果。
传导性涂层的区域可以是至少部分光学透明的。光学透明区域可以重叠在且可定位在被操纵和供能的组织和其他物质上。传导性涂层可具有半微米或更小的厚度或此类其他厚度,以在给定的能量供给源和预期应用的情况下产生特定组织或物质改变。传导性涂层可以是未绝缘的,或可以通过另一种材料部分地绝缘或完全绝缘,所述另一种材料包括一个或多个介电涂层或材料。
传导性涂层可配置成将能量供给源转换为用于组织或其他物质的改变的一种或多种形式的能量,所述能量包括单极性能量、双极性能量、氩气能量、消融能量、等离子体能量、热能、超声、聚焦超声或能够被传输跨越或穿过传导性涂层以改变组织或物质的其他能量形式。可选择或配置一种或多种生物相容材料和合理地适合的任何其他材料,以促进传导性涂层的粘附及装置的整体性能。
光耦合器和/或其连接器及能量供给源可具有用于确定组织或物质的改变的程度的一个或多个反馈元件。这些反馈元件可包括一个或多个温度传感器、热电偶或用于在将一种或多种形式的能量应用于组织或其他物质时测量所述一种或多种形式的能量的改变、影响或效果的其他元件。
在另一个实施方案中,一种方法包括:使组织或物质的至少一部分与光学元件接触;将能量应用于光学元件上的涂层;以及改变组织或物质的一部分。通过以下方式改变组织或物质:使用光学元件上的涂层作为用以递送能量的电极将能量传导到组织或物质的所述部分上或将能量传导穿过组织或物质的所述部分。
改变组织或其他物质可包括加热、烧灼、成形、封闭、解剖、切除、清除、切割、接牢、凝结、消融、烧蚀或涉及使组织或物质与被递送穿过或跨越涂层的能量接触的其他操纵。应用能量可包括穿过或跨越光学元件的表面应用双极性电能。接触组织或物质可包括接牢组织或物质、凝结、封闭组织的血管或涉及使组织或物质与由光学元件上的涂层递送的能量接触的其他操纵。
在光学元件上使用的一个或多个涂层可具有不同的水接触角以促进光学元件的不同性能要素,包括具有产生亲水性能、疏水性能和超疏水性能的水接触角的涂层。这些涂层中的一者或多者也可具有抗反射性质以减少或最小化光在观察镜的视野中的反射,并且涂层的其他变体可具有抗刮擦和其他硬度性质以保护光学元件。这些涂层也可以是传导性的,并且可以是透明的。
光学元件的实施例可包括灌洗组织或物质的能力和将一种或多种药物、胶或其他化合物注射到目标区域内以便由装置实现供能和操纵。在另一个方面中,观察镜是用于在体内观察的器件。
一个实施例包括一种装置,所述装置包括:光学元件;传导性材料,其安置在光学元件的至少一部分上;以及至少一个连接器,其能够向传导性材料提供能量。在另一个方面中,光学元件一体地安装在观察镜的远端上。光学元件可以是透镜,并且其中所述部分是该透镜的外部远端表面。并且,观察镜可以是用于在体内观察的器件。
在另一个方面中,连接器配置成用于连接到能量供给源。传导性材料可以是至少部分透明的。并且,装置可另外包括能量供给源。例如,能量供给源可选自由以下项组成的集合:电能发生器、电外科发生器、消融发生器、氩气发生器、超声发生器、低温发生器(cyrogenerator)和等离子体发生器。
另一个实施例包括一种组件,其包括:图像捕获装置,其具有观察端;定位组件,其支撑观察端;观察端上的传导性表面,所述传导性表面定位和配置成在观察端上传导能量;以及能量供给源连接件,其配置成向传导性表面供应能量。定位组件可包括配置成用于插入穿过受局限的开口的细长构件。定位组件也可包括联接到细长构件的与观察端相对的一端的控制件。

在另一个方面中,传导性表面可以是光学透明的。并且,传导性表面可以能够与组织重叠或符合。
传导性表面可通过第二传导性表面(诸如铂表面)连接到能量供给源。
这些实施方案的优点包括:(i)在流体、碎屑和血液中改进的可视化;(ii)通过经过观察镜上的光学元件将能量递送到目标区域来将观察镜变成治疗装置的能力,从而消除对参与单独的器械替换以将能量递送到组织或其他物质的需求;(iii)提供透镜防雾能力的能力;(iv)控制能量递送以在不丧失目标区域的情况下治疗物质和组织的狭窄至更宽的区域的能力,原因在于贯穿能量的应用维持可视化的能力;(v) 在任何时候在装置的某些变体中使用工作通道以递送补充装置(诸如,抓持件)且同时维持递送能量的能力的能力;以及(vi)其他益处,包括医疗应用中(诸如在透热法、电灼术、电外科学、活检、烧蚀、消融、减雾中)的手术的改进,以及非医疗应用(诸如使用远程可视化的管道线检视和修复)中的改进。在考虑了以下具体实施方式和附图时,本公开的实施方案的这些和其他特征及优点对于本领域技术人员而言将变得更容易显而易见,具体实施方式和附图描述了本公开的优选实施方案与替代性实施方案两者。

具体实施方式
现在将在下文中更全面地描述本公开的实施方案。实际上,这些实施方案能够以许多不同形式实现,且不应被解释为限制于本文中陈述的实施方案;而且,提供这些实施方案使得本公开将满足可适用的法律要求。如说明书和所附权利要求中所使用的,除非上下文另有明确指示,否则单数形式“一”、“一个”、“该(the)”包括复数指代物。如本文中所使用的术语“包括”及其变型与术语“包含”及其变型同义地使用,且是开放性、非限制性术语。
发明人已察觉到,尽管存在与使用图像捕获装置以改进可视化(包括远程可视化),从而在医疗背景中诊断和治疗患者,或单独地在非医疗应用中检视和处理情况相关联的许多益处,但这些技术仍存在需要改进的显著问题。图像捕获元件迅速变得被流体、碎屑和颗粒物质笼罩,这使可视化模糊不清。另外,图像捕获元件可取决于器械和其他元件以提供治疗和修饰、操纵和修复物质。
在非医疗应用中,非医疗设置(无论是涉及下水道、液压管线、油管道线、气体管线还是其中能够以更小的破坏与侵入获得检视和/或修复的其他非医疗领域)中对远程区域和缺陷的侵入性更小的检视和修复通常优于以侵入性更大的方式打开所述区域以进行检视和修复。
在非医疗应用中,可通过使用小端口来实现直接可视化。例如,通过在特定点处将孔钻入管道线内以检视管线。另一示例是使用孔探镜来远程地导航和前进通过管道线以使检视的区域可视化以便实现可能的远程修复。
就非医疗应用(诸如,油管道线检视)而言,将具有抓持和铰接能力的机器人臂和远程可视化装置一起使用以进行诊断和修复。
远程可视化装置和相关联的元件对于用于远程可视化的非医疗观察镜而言也是常见的,所述非医疗观察镜包括刚性和非刚性孔探镜、视频示波器(videoscope)、柔韧观察镜(flexoscope)、纤维镜和在非医疗应用中用于远程可视化的其他观察镜。
大体上,发明人已发现,需要使这些器械通过切口、端口、工作通道或其他通达点来前进、缩回和更换。这种方法意味着,当需要时,正确的器械并非总是能够容易获得。例如,当进行腹腔镜外科手术病例时,当医师参与组织的精细解剖以通达治疗点时,血管可被切开并且发生出血。医师可能在用于使器械在患者体内前进和缩回以便治疗的端口中的一个中不具有烧灼或血管封闭器械。当发生这种情况时,当医师缩回其中一个器械并插入烧灼装置或血管封闭装置(被称为装置替换)以尝试并且然后找到出血部位且阻止出血时,出血将继续。由于完成装置替换所花费的时间,出血区域可变得充满血,从而使出血的位置模糊不清。此外,在该时间期间,检查镜可能变得覆盖有血液、碎屑或其他流体,或可能起雾从而引起使找到并处理出血部位复杂化的额外问题。
具有工作通道的观察镜产生类似的局限性。例如,当执行结肠镜检查并摘除癌变前期息肉以诊断是否存在癌症时,血管可能被无意切割,从而引起下胃肠道出血。为治疗出血,医师必须执行器械的替换,将装置从该长的、柔性观察镜(200厘米长)的工作通道中撤出并且插入烧灼装置并使其沿观察镜的工作通道向下前进。然后,必须确认观察镜和出血部位的位置(因为观察镜可移动),且然后尝试烧灼以解决出血。该努力可能被流体、碎屑和血液所阻碍,其使观察镜的可视化模糊不清。另外,烧灼的应用是非常有限的。这是因为烧灼装置能够被局限于不比观察镜中的工作通道的直径更宽,工作通道的直径通常在2毫米与3毫米之间。因此,当前装置的烧灼病损通常仅几毫米宽,从而使多次烧灼尝试成为必要以用当前技术治疗更长或更宽或不平的出血区域。
就其他观察镜应用(包括上胃肠道出血的治疗),该同一组问题和其他问题是适用的。此外,对于不具有工作通道但必须使其从用户前进一些距离的观察镜而言,其他问题和局限性是适用的。例如,在非医疗应用和某些耳鼻喉医疗应用中,此类问题在孔探镜中出现。这些问题也适用于依赖于用于可视化的观察镜的其他应用,包括机器人导航和机器人外科手术和治疗。
本公开的实施方案通过提供一种装置来克服这些问题,所述装置具有光学元件,所述光学元件具有传导性涂层。例如,如图1中所示,一个实施方案的装置11包括光学元件10、传导性材料302和至少一个连接器300。传导性材料302安置在光学元件10的至少一部分上。例如,光学元件可以是内窥镜110的物镜或光耦合器。连接器(充当端子)300、300a、300b能够向传导性材料302提供能量(诸如,电能)。在一个方面中,传导性材料是光学透明材料。
有利地,装置11允许与经由传导性涂层将能量应用于物体(诸如,身体组织或其他物质200)同时的物体的可视化。这允许用户在递送能量时实时地观察组织和其他物质的改变。例如,装置11能够经由透明传导性材料302提供电能,以在通过内窥镜72和内窥镜上的光学元件直接观察组织200的同时烧灼该组织。
如图1到图4中所示,在实施例中,光学元件10可以是一种类型的光耦合器,其包括在远端14处的可视化区段12和在近端48处的附接区段46。光耦合器10配置成经由附接区段46附接到远程可视化装置(诸如,内窥镜72)。在实施例中,光耦合器10包括透明材料,所述透明材料的至少一部分可覆盖下方的内窥镜72的光学区域以保持其在身体中摆脱使其模糊的碎屑。而且,光耦合器10的外表面能够使由内窥镜72检视的组织上的流体、血液、碎屑和颗粒物质移位。在2012年9月17日提交的美国专利申请公开No. 2013/0110097中公开了此类光耦合器的额外细节,所述公开特此通过引用并入本文。
再次参考图1,可视化区段12包括与近端表面22间隔分开的远端外表面16。在实施例中,可视化区段12的至少一部分覆盖内窥镜72的一些或所有光学区域。在图1中,外表面16具有圆化、凸出形状。例如,外表面16从第一外侧边界18连续地弯曲跨越到可视化区段12的相对的第二外侧边界20。在实施例中,外表面也可以是凸出但离心的、凹入的、平坦的或定位成与内窥镜的光学透镜成一角度。例如,外表面可定位成成倾斜远离、或替代性地倾斜到内窥镜的光学透镜的一角度。医护工作者可使外表面16前进成与组织或其他物质200接触,并且由于光耦合器的设计仍维持可视化。另外,通过使组织或其他物质与观察镜上的光耦合器接触,医护工作者能够使流体、血液、碎屑和颗粒物质从视野移位。这提供对下方的组织或物质的更好的观察以便评估和治疗,包括通过该装置递送能量。外表面16的形状可以是无创伤的。
而且,在其他实施例中,装置可具有一个或多个通道以使得器械能够穿过观察镜和装置,或以提供灌洗或吹气,或以暴露观察镜的光导从而在某些环境中改变光的性能。例如,这些通道可以是中空的,并且穿过装置的外表面。通道也可以是自封闭的,且因此并不一直穿过装置的外表面以在不使用通道时封闭该通道。在其他实施例中,可存在多于一个通道。一个通道可与装置和观察镜的工作通道对齐,从而允许器械穿过。另一个通道可允许流体和空气从观察镜发出并穿过装置。第三通道可使来自观察镜上的流体水的流体转向到装置中的工作通道并越过装置的外表面流出。
可视化区段12能够由一系列材料形成,这些材料为内窥镜72提供物体的改进的可视化。例如,可视化区段可由能够传输表面区域的光学图像的透明材料形成。虽然可使用任何类型的(至少部分)透明材料,但良好地粘附(且保持粘附)到传导性材料302的材料是特别期望的。特别相当合适的是具有有吸引力的折射率和光透过水平的材料。当与能量应用一起使用时,也期望稳定性,以最小化衬底对传导性材料的影响以及能量递送对光学性能的影响。例如,由于聚碳酸酯在各种温度范围内的折射率和性能,因此聚碳酸酯材料对于可视化区段是相当合适的材料。额外的材料包括丙烯酸树脂、聚苯乙烯、环烯烃共聚物、聚醚酰胺、玻璃、硅酮和其他光学材料。这些材料提供相对低的折射率、高的光透过率和适当的温度性能的组合,包括当与各种形式的能量的应用一起使用时的绝缘性质和相对低的热膨胀水平。
在其他实施例中,使用多于一种材料的装置可通过以下方式连接这些材料:胶或其他化学键、将这些材料模制在一起、将一种材料包覆成型在另一种材料上、将机械连接器放置在这些材料之间或放置在这些材料上,或以上各项的组合。也可通过以下方式来产生连接:将一种材料涂覆到另一种材料上、将一种材料旋拧于另一种材料上、或将一种材料连接到另一种材料的其他方式,其中,这些材料中的至少一者是传导性涂层的衬底。
如本文中所使用的术语“透明”并非总是限制于光学透明。不同地,透明可包括能量波的通行的能力或特性,所述能量波包括红外线和/或紫外线。透明也无需限制于完全透明,并且代替性地能够指代促进或允许光射线的通行的一些能力(例如,半透明)。
替代性地,耦合器10可不由透明材料形成,并且在实施例中能够由适合于具体远程可视化应用的一种或多种材料制成。在实施例中,针对某些应用,耦合器可充当用于传导性材料302的支撑件和施用器,并且其或者具有改进可视化的有限能力或者不具有这种能力。
如图4中所示,附接区段46可包括从光学元件10的近端48延伸的圆筒壁50。一般地,附接区段46配置成与可视化区段12匹配并将其固定到内窥镜72或其他光学成像装置的端部。为此,圆筒壁50的大小适合于限定中空圆筒开口70以便实现至内窥镜72的远端上的按压或其他牢固配合。应注意的是,附接区段46也可以包括用以促进附接的其他结构,和/或可以通过以下方式固定:焊接、粘附剂、旋拧、机械连接器、一种或多种材料与光学成像装置之间的干涉、或装置与远程/光学成像装置之间的此类其他形式的连接。而且,附接区段46无需具有圆筒形形状,而是能够被形成为匹配各种光学成像装置或远程可视化装置的远端形状。或者,附接区段的形状可以适合于促进装置的其他功能,包括使侧面和远端的形状符合组织和物质以及更有效地操纵组织和物质。当接触组织和其他物质时,可选择形状和材料以使装置造成更小创伤。装置的可视化区段也能够一体化于远程可视化装置内。
如图1和图4中所示,内窥镜72包括护套76,所述护套具有远端并支撑光学组件。护套76为大体细长构件,其配置成进入并延伸穿过通路以在身体和其他通路中提供远程可视化。在一些实施例中,内窥镜包括一些形式的定位组件(例如,手控制件),所述定位组件附接到护套76的近端以允许操作者使观察镜转向。在其他实施例中,观察镜是机器人元件的一部分,所述机器人元件提供观察镜相对于期望的点的可转向性和定位以研究和聚焦观察镜。护套76也包括远端74(如图1和图4中所示),所述远端延伸到光耦合器10的圆筒开口70中。
护套76可包括延伸穿过其以实现各种目的的一个或多个开口或管腔。例如,如图1到图4中所示,护套76限定第一管腔100、第二管腔102和第三管腔104。每个管腔从护套76的近端延伸到远端74。第一管腔100可例如提供通路,光导106能够定位在所述通路中以便朝向远端74传输光。第二管腔102可提供通路以容纳远程可视化透镜、摄像机、传感器、纤维或用于将视觉信息带回直到护套76的近端的其他元件108。第三管腔104可提供通路,额外的器械(诸如,导线、导管、活检钳、导丝或其他器械202)能够延伸穿过所述通路到达组织或其他物质200。
如上文所提到的,图1到图4的实施例中的护套76为光学组件提供通达。在一些实施例中,光学组件包括光导106、图像捕获元件108和物镜110。如上文也提到的,光导106可使光从护套76的近端传输到远端,以照亮身体组织200。物镜110定位在光纤108的远端处并且配置成引导反射光并使其聚焦返回光纤的远端。一般地,物镜110能够是能够传输和折射光的任何光学装置,包括复合透镜,所述复合透镜包括具有共同轴线的透镜阵列。
如图1中所示,在固定附接区段46时,圆筒壁50在护套76的远端74的外表面78上延伸。并且,近端表面22抵接护套76的远端上的端表面80。而且,第三管腔104与限定在光耦合器10的可视化区段12中的中空器械插口40对齐。
如图1到图4中所示,取决于对组织和其他物质的期望作用,可在多种构造中应用传导性材料302以产生一个或多个电极设计。可改变电极设计以适应其他应用的需求,诸如抑制远程可视化元件的起雾或产生能力的组合(诸如,能够被间歇或连续地加温以抑制或防止起雾的可视化元件)。当需要接触并烧灼或烧蚀组织或其他物质时,电极设计也可解决使传导性材料302快速增加能量递送的能力。
用传导性涂层加热光学透镜部件允许连续加热以防止在观察镜或光学元件的端部处的显著温差。(远端是常常定位摄像机的位置并且在该处起雾能够是问题。)温差能够形成起雾,从而使通过观察镜或光学元件的可视化模糊不清。另外,光耦合器的材料(例如,诸如硅酮和聚碳酸酯)具有促进防雾的绝缘性质。防雾能够例如通过将光学元件加热到大约体温来实现。在不受理论约束的情况下,发明人相信,观察镜的远端处的温差的范围能够是大约95华氏度到110或甚至120华氏度,特别是在使用某些热生成器械的情况下,所述热生成器械诸如超声刀,其升高观察镜的端部周围的温度。一般地,防雾应用的功率和温度低于烧灼或其他组织修饰温度。
在一些实施例中,传导性材料可以呈以一些离散、连续或间歇的图案及其各种组合应用的层、条带、颗粒、纳米颗粒或其他形状的形式。传导性材料的应用的形状或图案的变化在通过粘附或组合涂层和其他材料来将一种材料添加到另一种材料以实现期望结果的能力内是可能的。

此外,可应用传导性材料302以形成意在以不同图案和密度将能量应用到物质的具体形状(除层之外)。而且,可以以非层状方式应用传导性材料302,诸如通过形成在模具中且然后粘附、焊接或以其他方式附接到光耦合器。再次地,传导性材料302的形状代替地可对应于由传导性材料形成的能量应用的期望图案,包括涉及传导性材料和至传导性材料300的连接器的具体电极设计。
在实施例中,传导性材料层被应用于光学元件的远端14,使得其在可视化区段12的一部分上延伸。在一个实施方案中,可视化区段12的被传导性材料覆盖的部分包括可视化区段的一侧的整个远端、外表面区域16。然而,可视化区段的该部分可仅包括可视化区段的一侧的表面区域的一部分,或可包括传导性材料层的多次应用之间的一个或多个间隙,这取决于期望的电极设计和期望的结果。例如,传导性材料302可仅覆盖内窥镜72的物镜110的视野内的区域,或可被应用在视野的一部分中或甚至处于视野的外侧。在其他替代方案中,可以图案(带、条带、浅凹、空隙、起伏、曲线、圆圈、半圆)、不规则和其他此类方法来应用传导性材料302,以产生电极以便实现对用装置200应用能量的预期结果。
如图1到图4中所示,装置11也可包括一个或多个连接器300,以向传导性材料提供能量。在该实施方案中,连接器包括第一正端子300a和第二负端子300b。电流从正端子流动穿过传导性材料302(为传导性材料供能)并通过负端子流出。
这些端子本身能够包括惰性电极,诸如石墨(碳)、铂、金和铑。另外,端子可包括铜、锌、铅和银或铝,或为本领域技术人员已知适合于传输能量的传导性材料或任何其他材料。导线304或其他功率传输器件将电极连接到电力线缆(未示出),并且可被嵌入内窥镜72的护套76内,且平行并靠近中空器械插口40延伸。
替代性地,导线或其他功率传输器件可在器械插口40中穿过(未示出)可视化区段。也可以以另一替代性方式来递送导线,包括电流到装置或嵌在装置中的电池的感应传输。也可由来自以下各项的电流来供应功率:电池、导管、缆线、无线电波或能够延伸一定距离到端子或连接器的其他功率传输装置或方法。
例如,图13示出配置成延伸穿过递送导管的通道的能量导管500。能量导管包括在其远端处的连接器502。能量导管500的细长主体限定灌洗通道506。能量导管在其近端处连接到能量供给源和/或灌洗源504。能量导管500配置成延伸穿过观察镜并进入光耦合器10的工作通道508中。延伸继续直到连接器502与和工作通道连通的对应触头或端子300抵接和/或以其他方式匹配或连接。
一个或多个端子300可以是将一些种类的能量递送到传导性材料302的任何装置(包括无线电波、感应或其他无线连接)。例如,在传导性材料的无线激励或传导性材料延伸成用于与例如能量发生器(或其他能量供给源)匹配或通信的形状的情况下,传导性材料自身可形成或包括端子300。

而且,术语“内窥镜”一般地指代在医疗应用上或医疗应用中使用的任何观察镜,包括身体(人或其他),且包括例如腹腔镜、关节镜、结肠镜、气管镜、肠镜、膀胱镜、腹腔镜、喉镜、S状结肠镜、胸腔镜、心脏镜和具有观察镜的隐静脉采集器,不论是机器人型还是非机器人型;并且也包括在非医疗应用中使用的观察镜,诸如,例如孔探镜、视频示波器、柔韧观察镜和纤维镜,不论是机器人型还是非机器人型且包括本文中所公开的任何其他观察镜。
如本文中所使用的术语“图像捕获装置”也无需指代仅具有透镜或其他光引导结构的装置。代替地,例如,图像捕获装置能够是能够捕获和中继图像的任何装置,包括(i)在观察镜的远端处的物镜与目镜之间的中继透镜;(ii)光纤;(iii)电荷耦合装置(CCD);(iv)互补金属氧化物半导体(CMOS)传感器。图像捕获装置也可以仅仅是用于感测光并生成电信号以便对应于感测到的光来通信的芯片,或用于传输图像的其他技术。图像捕获装置可具有观察端(在捕获光之处),且传导性表面302可在图像捕获元件的一部分上延伸或可远离图像捕获元件被应用于其他实施例。一般地,图像捕获装置能够是能够观察物体、捕获图像和/或捕获视频的任何装置。
虽然上文描述了光耦合器的一个具体实施方案,但是额外类型的光耦合器可包括应用于其的一些类型的传导性材料。例如,2012年2月16日提交的美国专利申请公开No.2012/0209074(所述公开特此通过引用并入本文)公开了光学元件(传导性材料可应用于所述光学元件)的若干变型。
例如,本公开的图5示出附接到内窥镜72的光学元件10的另一个实施方案。在图5中,可视化区段12的外表面16的一部分是圆顶形状,且可视化区段的外表面的呈圆顶形状的部分处于内窥镜72的视野A内。对于圆顶形状而言,在具有更平滑的过渡部的增加的表面区域上可需要传导性材料302(相比于图1到图4,如果整个圆顶被覆盖),或可仅在视野A内应用传导性材料302。
一般地,圆顶形状可以以增加的工作空间改进成像,因为器官能够被推出视野,或可利用该形状和其他形状以优化视野、光学清晰度、透镜与目标组织或其他物质的符合性。调适光学元件的形状的其他与性能有关的原因包括对光透过的期望、形状之间的材料粘附、导航穿过特定区域(包括目标管腔)。
作为另一个示例,图6和图7示出接合体腔200的区域的示例性光学元件10。首先,光学元件10被放置成与体腔200的区域接触。然后,医师能够将医疗器械202(图6)插在内窥镜72的护套76的第三管腔104中。使医疗器械穿过光学元件中的器械插口40,且然后使医疗器械202刺穿光学元件10的屏障区段42和外表面16(本公开的图7)。然后,能够在体腔200的所述区域上使用医疗器械执行医疗程序。
屏障区段42是可视化区段12的一部分,其介于(在医疗器械202的通行之前)环境与器械插口40之间。在一个方面中,屏障区段可涂覆有绝缘材料310以防止医疗器械202与传导性材料302直接接触。绝缘材料310例如可从外表面16延伸,并且具有与传导性材料302的层相同的厚度或比其更大的厚度。有利地,绝缘材料310可防止传导性材料302的传导率(诸如由金属器械引起)的破坏从而引起到被供电的传导性材料层的短路。或者,绝缘材料可仅仅是弹性更强的物理防护件,以防由医疗器械202造成损伤。
图8A示出附接到内窥镜72的光学元件的另一个实施方案的横截面视图。该实施方案包括活检钳61,所述活检钳61被放置穿过内窥镜72的管腔104中的一个和穿过光学元件10的器械插口40。
在图8A中,活检钳61的钳爪是张开的。图8B是横截面视图,其中活检钳的钳爪闭合以从体腔200取得活检样本。图8C是活检钳的横截面视图,所述活检钳在已取得活检样本之后被撤回。
在图8A到图8C的实施方案中,光学元件10具有截头圆锥形状,其具有向远端延伸的更宽的基底。在这个实施方案中,传导性材料302是相对平坦的,并且能够被容易地应用到相对平坦的组织表面。而且,传导性材料302可在具有开口的层中,所述开口被绝缘材料310围绕。如上文所描述,这能够防止活检钳61到传导性材料的短路或由活检钳61对传导性材料造成的损伤。而且,电极300a和300b可沿截头圆锥形状的成角度的侧面向下延伸,并且可以是或可以不是部分绝缘或完全绝缘。
图9A和图9B示出具有有角度的外表面16的光学元件10的另一个实施方案。例如,光学元件10可以是安装到孔探镜77的光耦合器。光耦合器10具有可视化区段12,所述可视化区段12具有第一外边界515和第二外边界516。第一外边界515和第二外边界516以一角度从孔探镜向外延伸。耦合器10的外表面514也成角度,使得其包括第一部段514a和第二部段514b。在该构造中,传导性材料层302被类似地分层。
图9B示出图9A的光学元件10,其检视卡在两个板88、90之间的焊缝。有利地,电极300能够将能量递送到传导性层302,这些传导性层可加热和/或更改有角度的板88、90以例如在由操作者直接观察焊缝时修复焊缝。
图10示出光学元件10,其经由第三管腔104附接到具有辅助通道的内窥镜。喷口943设置在辅助通道104的远端处以便传输流体、空气或其他物质。光耦合器包括围绕观察镜的长轴线延伸的腔室945,所述腔室945能够接收来自辅助流体通道104和喷口943的流体947。这允许流体947经过并穿过光学元件10中的器械插口40。该通道能够被用于传输流体(包括水或盐水),以灌洗组织或将碎屑从视野冲除、或清洁耦合器的外表面、或传输药物和其他化学品以及其他物质(诸如,空气、CO2、氩气和用以影响目标组织或其他物质的其他物质)。在图10中,以类似于图1到图4的方式将传导性材料302应用在一层中。开口可延伸穿过传导性材料302,以便外部环境的吸引(aspiration)以及当器械被部署于外部时向器械插口施加正压力。
本公开的图11A是光学元件10的横截面,其中所述光学元件具有附接到接近充满血800的组织的内窥镜72的凹入外表面16。图11B示出光学元件10,其被压抵组织200中的空腔并困陷不透明液体91。图11C示出来自器械插口40的流体,所述器械插口40盈满(flush)被困陷的不透明液体91。有利地,当所引入的流体的压力超过由光学元件10抵靠体腔200所施加的压力时,流体891将盈满来自该区域的被困陷的不透明液体91。
在图11A和图11B中,在凹入层中应用传导性材料302,所述凹入层类似于凹入外表面16。端子300沿光学元件10的侧面延伸以与凹入传导性材料302的端部接触。
装置和传导性材料的应用
装置11的各种实施方案的传导性材料302可被用以递送许多能量类型并在许多医疗和非医疗应用中得以采用。下文出于说明性目的提供了此类能量类型和应用的示例,并且所述示例不应被视为限制性的。
如图12中示意性地示出的,传导性材料302是经由端子300a和300b以及连接器304和缆线96附接到能量供给源94的电阻器和/或电容器。连接器304可延伸穿过例如内窥镜护套76,并进入附接到内窥镜的近端的缆线96中。那些连接器可连接到能量供给源94,所述能量供给源可以是例如用于组织或其他物质的改变的一种或多种形式的能量,包括单极性能量、双极性能量、氩气能量、消融能量、等离子体能量、热能、微波能量、超声、聚焦超声或其他形式的能量(包括能够被传输跨越或穿过传导性涂层以改变组织或物质(包括用于治疗作用)的多种能量形式的生成和传输)。这些能够通过直流电、交流电、脉冲电流和其他各种形式的能量递送来递送。
存在用以将能量递送到端子300和传导性材料302的许多方式。缆线96能够借由端子300、300a、300b将功率递送到传导性材料。缆线能够通过例如邻近观察镜并处于观察镜外侧或围绕观察镜72的外侧缠绕来通达端子。或者,缆线96或连接器304能够附接到能量递送导管,所述能量递送导管沿观察镜的工作通道(例如,第一管腔100)向下传递并与端子对接。在其远端处,能量递送导管可连接到透镜110的工作通道中的电端子。连接器304也可嵌在内窥镜72的护套76内,且平行并靠近中空器械插口40延伸。这些连接器可包括柔性回路、一个或多个涂层、导线、传导性弹簧、用于接收和传输功率的感应材料、缆线,或用于将功率从能量供给源朝向递送点传输的此类其他方法。
在另一个实施方案中,电能发生器能够包括信号发生器,诸如:函数发生器、RF信号发生器、微波信号发生器、音调发生器(pitch generator)、任意波形发生器、数字图案发生器或频率发生器。可使用现有电外科发生器,优点是其满足针对医疗用途所必需的标准。这些发生器可向生成重复或非重复的电子信号(在模拟域或者数字域中的任一者中)的电子装置提供功率。RF信号发生器的范围能够是数kHz到6 GHz。微波信号发生器能够覆盖远为更宽的频率范围,从小于1 MHz到至少20 GHz。一些模型在直接同轴输出的情况下高达70GHz,并且当与外部波导源模块一起使用时高达数百GHz。而且,可使用FM和AM信号发生器。
这些不同发生器和其他发生器的益处在于,它们为定向应用(其中一种形式的功率具有优于其他形式的优点)提供特定形式的功率。例如,当切割和凝结组织时,单极性电相比于双极性电能通常能够更有效地切割和凝结穿过组织。而单极性能量需要使用接地垫以避免单极性能量对无意区域的成拱作用(arching)。因此,接地垫能够与单极性应用一起使用,以影响组织并防止用单极性能量造成的对患者的烧伤、成拱作用和后续电能(接地垫完成穿过患者的电能的回路。)。
与此不同,双极性电能在装置自身中具有完整的回路,且因此能量行进穿过和跨越装置,从而影响组织,但不成拱穿过身体。在用该方法的情况下,双极性电能对于形成损伤、封闭血管和涉及组织的定向治疗的其他应用能够非常有效。但是,由于双极性电能的所包含的方面,其作为外科手术刀的替代方案往往对切割和凝结穿过组织更不有效。类似地,微波能量由于其独特的组织作用而可被用于组织的某些类型的烧蚀,并且双极性能量可被用于其他类型的烧蚀。可使用其他形式的能量(诸如,FM能),因为频率不激励某些附属元素(诸如神经束)。
能够在外科手术分离软组织(通过使用射频能量以激励传导性介质(诸如盐溶液)中的电解质)的非加热驱动过程中使用消融发生器,以产生准确聚焦的等离子场。等离子场中的被供能的颗粒或离子能够具有足够的能量以在相对低的温度下(即,通常在40℃到70℃之间)打破或分离软组织内的有机分子键。这使得消融装置能够在体积上(volumetrically)移除目标组织并对周围组织造成最小损害。消融也能够提供止血和组织收缩能力。所递送的功率的量能够通过场强来确定,并且能够基于局部环境条件来调节。
消融可被用于通常高达90℃的温度范围。
超声发生器能够产生具有大于近似20千赫兹(20,000赫兹)的频率的声波。可通过传导性材料302将超声波传导到组织200。超声能够被身体组织(尤其是韧带、肌腱和筋膜或其他物质)所吸收。
超声装置能够以通常从20 KHz直到若干GHz的频率操作。所使用的治疗性超声频率通常在0.7到3.3 MHz之间。超声能量或TENS能量可通过增加被治疗区域中的血液流动来加速愈合过程、减少疼痛(由于肿胀和水肿的减少),并温和地按摩被治疗区域中的肌腱和/或韧带。
超声也可以是非侵入性的或侵入性的,以烧蚀肿瘤或其他组织。这能够使用被称为高强度聚焦超声(HIFU),也称为聚焦超声外科手术(FUS外科手术)的技术来完成。该手术使用通常比医疗诊断超声(250-2000 kHz)更低的频率。可使用超声来治疗的其他一般性状况包括诸如以下各项的示例:韧带扭伤、肌肉拉伤、肌腱炎、关节炎、足底筋膜炎、跖骨痛、小面关节刺激、撞击综合征、滑液囊炎、类风湿性关节炎、骨关节炎和瘢痕组织粘连。
除了其他之外,装置11也允许医疗从业者执行组织的烧灼、血管封闭、组织解剖和切除、组织成形、组织切割和凝结、组织烧蚀和器械加热,所有以上各项均在从业者正观察的准确位置处进行。这至少部分地解决了盲目地执行内窥镜外科手术的方面的问题。其也可以消除以下需求:将一个装置替换成另一个装置以将能量应用到组织或物质,或使组织或其他物质偏转,或在维持可视化时参与其他操纵。
除了其他之外,更多具体医疗应用包括应用能量以在以下各项中影响组织:创伤病例、关节镜外科手术、脊柱外科手术、神经外科、肩部外科手术、肺肿瘤烧蚀、对膀胱癌患者的癌变组织的烧蚀、针对妇女的健康问题(诸如子宫内膜异位)烧灼或烧蚀子宫组织。在这些应用(及本文中所列举的其他应用)中,装置能够被用来接触组织,且然后对组织进行烧灼、烧蚀或成形(例如在肩部手术中用消融能量完成),从而通过允许医师通过例如光学透明透镜和涂层实时地看到组织所发生的变化来产生独特的性能属性。
装置也能够被用于在涉及腹腔镜、孔探镜、视频示波器或其他光学捕获技术的应用期间加热光学透明透镜以防止起雾。
为进一步详细说明医疗应用,不论是使用短波射频(范围为1-100 MHz)还是微波能量(通常为915 MHz或2.45 GHz)来实现,装置在透热应用中的使用都是有用的领域。外科手术中使用的透热法能够包括至少两种类型。单极性能量是其中电流从待治疗组织附近的一个电极传递到身体中其他位置的另一个固定电极的情况。通常,这种类型的电极被放置在身体上的特定位置中,诸如与臀部接触或在腿部周围。替代性地,能够使用双极性能量,其中两个电极安装成密切接近,从而在装置上产生闭合电路(在这种情况下,两个单独的传导性材料部分302在光学元件10上),并且电流仅通过所治疗的组织或仅在所治疗的组织上通过。双极性电外科的优点在于,其防止电流流动通过身体的其他组织,并且仅聚集在接触或密切接近电极的组织上。这在例如显微外科、腹腔镜外科手术、心脏手术和其他手术(包括对具有心脏起搏器和其他装置以及不适合于与其他形式的能量一起使用的病情的患者的那些手术)中是有用的。
电灼术是使用来自电流的热传导来修饰组织的过程。该手术被用于阻止小血管的出血(更大的血管能够被结扎)或用于切割通过软组织。在以单极性或双极性方式进行的电灼中使用高频交流电。高频交流电能够是连续波形(以切割组织)或间歇类型(以凝结组织)。在单极性类型中,待凝结/切割的组织将与小电极接触,同时回路的出口点的表面积大,如在臀部处,以防止电烧伤。所生成的热取决于接触区域的大小、电流的功率设定或频率、应用的持续时间、波形。恒定波形比间歇波形(一般地)生成更多热,因为在切割组织中所使用的频率被设定成高于凝结模式中的频率。双极性电灼在两点之间建立回路以影响组织或其他物质。
作为另一个选项,传导性层302和装置11可被用于在50℃至100℃的范围中、或甚至在50℃至70℃的范围中或在更小的温度(如果可取的话)下的热烧灼,其中应用适合于该应用的一系列功率。有利地,在通过装置应用多种形式的能量时进行可视化的能力允许能量的准确递送,包括改变能量的水平和所得温度、使用适合于具体应用的功率设置、在更长的时间段内应用能量以扩宽覆盖范围、针对多种作用跨越多个电极应用能量,以及在对组织或其他物质已被令人满意地变换更有信心的情况下停止过程的能力。(当然,这个优点适用于装置11的其他应用——能量应用的实时视觉监测允许更准确的应用。)。
光学元件10在非医疗应用中也可以是有益的。光学元件的多个实施方案能够被附接到孔探镜的远端(物镜),或附接到微视频摄像机或常规视频摄像机,检视观察镜,或静态摄像机,或将受益于改进的在流体、碎屑和/或血液中的可视化和能量递送的任何其他可视化装置。这允许改进的观察和在管道、保持槽、容器、液压管线内侧和其中可视化可以其他方式受损(包括当流体不透明时,诸如石油产品、污水、食品、油漆)的其他情形下进行修复的能力。生物药物制造、医药产品和其他应用将得益于该创新,以及消除对排空管道或容器(例如,油槽)或打开管线以检视的需求。
能够针对具体应用来缩放光学元件的大小或柔性的量,例如当检查大区域时使大体积的流体移位。光学元件的形状能够是大体平坦的、凸出的(具有不同的曲率水平)、有角度的、倾斜的、阶梯状的或针对具体任务以其他方式成形。例如,光学元件可成形为方形,或成形为有角形状,以使槽的角落中的不透明流体移位以检视接缝。能够在管道、管线、管、隧道和其他通路中针对以下各项执行对结合部、焊缝、接合部的检查:腐蚀、管道、柔性和非柔性管状构件,或裂缝、表面偏差以及其他检视和修复点。
光学元件能够与图像捕获元件和机器人车辆或机器人臂结合使用,以观察远程位置。具有工作通道的光学部件将允许装置穿过光学元件以使用螺钉、粘性贴片、胶、化学品、焊接、钎焊以及其他修复和修饰应用进行修复。在实施例中,光学元件能够由耐受由光学元件使其移位的流体的酸度、碱度、高热或黏度的材料形成。在实施例中,装置能够是单次使用的一次性装置或可重复使用的装置。
有利地,装置11的实施方案在这些各种各样的非医疗应用中提供经由传导性材料302来应用能量的能力。被提供到所观察的物体的能量可加热、改变或以其他方式影响由光学元件10观察的物体。
传导性材料组成
传导性材料302可具有各种组成,且可以各种方式被应用于光学元件10。下文出于说明性目的提供此类组成和应用的示例,并且它们不应被视为是限制性的。对于医疗应用而言,传导性材料302优选地能够承受杀菌,诸如通过伽马辐射、环氧乙烷、蒸气或其他杀菌形式。
能够在多个构造中应用导电涂层/电响应涂层以产生一个或多个电极。该电极能够是光学透明的,并且具有各种厚度,包括半微米或更小的厚度,以及远为更大的厚度,这取决于对组织或其他物质的预期作用。
传导性材料能够是至少部分透明的,并且能够包括例如被称为透明导电氧化物(TCO)(其中氧化钛(TiO2)和掺铝氧化锌(AZO)是两个示例)的通用类别的材料的任何成员。其也能够涉及以准许可视化的方式应用的其他传导性材料(诸如银和金纳米颗粒)以及以允许能量传导和可视化的方式应用的其他传导性材料的应用。
可视化材料的光学衍射指数包括具有范围在从1.3到2.3的折射指数的材料,所述折射指数取决于应用、期望的光透过水平、整体光学性能及其他因素。透明导电氧化物可包括拥有带隙的透明材料,所述带隙具有对应于短于380 nm到750 nm的可见范围的波长的能量。TCO的膜能够具有例如跨越其表面上的点的变化的传导率。在一个方面中,膜不具有或大致不具有孔隙、针孔和/或缺陷。在另一个方面中,层中的孔隙、针孔和/或缺陷的数量和大小并未不利地影响该层在装置中的性能。膜厚度的范围能够是从小于1到大约3500 nm。在实施例中,不同的制造方法和预期应用能够导致不同的厚度,诸如厚度大约为10、20、30、40、50、60、70、80、100、200、300、400、500、600、700、800、900、1000、1300和1500 nm的膜。
透明传导性膜能够是氧化铟锡、掺Al或Ga的氧化锌、掺Ta或Nb的氧化钛、掺F的氧化锡及其混合物。能够通过直接氧化超薄金属层或通过沉积氧化物来形成氧化层。TCO材料能够具有多晶、结晶或非晶微结构以影响膜性质,除了其他性质之外,包括例如透过率和传导率。
生物相容TCO也能够被用作透明传导性材料。这些包括例如氧化铝(Al2O3)、羟基磷灰石(HA)、二氧化硅(SiO2)、碳化钛(TiC)、氮化钛(TiN)、二氧化钛(TiO2)、二氧化锆(ZrO2)。可以用其他金属对这些材料进行n型掺杂,所述金属诸如铝(Al)、铜(Cu)、银(Ag)、镓(Ga)、镁(Mg)、镉(Cd)、铟(In)、锡(Sn)、钪(Sc)、钇(Y)、钴(Co)、锰(Mn)、铬(Cr)和硼(B)。除了其他之外,也能够用氮(N)和磷(P)实现p型掺杂。
TiO2能够充当生物相容材料;其提供在范围为从室温到数百摄氏度的温度下涂覆衬底的可能性。TiO2具有多个不同的多晶相,这能够取决于初始颗粒大小、初始相、掺杂剂浓度、反应气氛和退火温度。TiO2膜通常通过许多方法合成,包括溶胶-凝胶法、热喷涂和物理气相沉积。
透明传导性、掺铝的氧化锌薄膜(AlxZnyOz、ZnO:Al)包含小量(通常小于按重量计5%)的铝。下方的衬底可对生长的结构和材料的膜的光电子性质产生影响。即使衬底相同,层厚度(沉积时间、在衬底上的位置)自身也影响所沉积的薄膜的物理值。
也能够通过改变过程参数(如温度或压力)或者通过加入过程气体的添加物(如氧气或氢气)来达到所生长的薄膜的物理值的变化。通常,用铝对氧化锌进行n型掺杂。替代性地,能够用诸如以下各项的金属完成n型掺杂:铜(Cu)、银(Ag)、镓(Ga)、镁(Mg)、镉(Cd)、铟(In)、锡(Sn)、钪(Sc)、钇(Y)、钴(Co)、锰(Mn)、铬(Cr)和硼(B)。能够用氮(N)和磷(P)实现ZnO的p型掺杂。
另外,将亚波长金属纳米结构并入TCO中能够导致波长的变化,其中TCO变得透明。也能够使用嵌入的颗粒物品来控制在期望波长下的吸收与散射。材料的其他光学作用也能够受到影响,包括吸收、散射、光俘获(trap)或解俘获(detrap)、过滤、光诱发的加热和其他。能够使用颗粒的形态(包括大小、形状、密度、均匀性、一致性、间隔、放置以及随机或周期性分布)来策划这些作用。
本发明的电极的衬底能够由任何合适的材料构成,其中本发明的透明电极结构被应用在所述材料上。这能够包括另一种传导性材料或介电材料。在一个说明性示例中,光学元件10充当衬底。除了其他材料之外,其他衬底包括玻璃、半导体、无机晶体、刚性或柔性塑料材料。除了其他材料之外,说明性示例是二氧化硅(SiO2)、硼硅酸盐(BK7)、硅(Si)、铌酸锂(LiNbO3)、聚萘二甲酸乙二醇酯(PEN)、聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(PET)。
有机材料也能够充当传导性材料。这些包括碳纳米管网络和石墨烯(其能够被制造成对红外光高度透明),连同聚合物(诸如,聚(3,4-乙烯二氧噻吩)及其衍生物)的网络。
聚合物也能够充当传导性材料。例如,诸如以下各项的衍生物的导电聚合物:聚乙炔、聚苯胺、聚吡咯或聚噻吩、聚(3,4-乙烯二氧噻吩)(PEDOT)以及PEDOT:聚(苯乙烯磺酸盐)PSS。另外,能够使用用碘或2,3-二氯-5,6-二氰基-l,4-苯醌(DDQ)掺杂的聚(4,4-二辛基环戊并二噻吩)。也能够使用具有n型或p型掺杂剂的其他聚合物。
能够通过各种沉积方法将传导性材料膜沉积在衬底上,所述沉积方法包括金属有机化学气相沉积(MOCVD)、金属有机分子束沉积(MOMBD)、喷雾热解和脉冲激光沉积、浸渍涂覆、涂抹、胶合或适合于针对具体应用将传导性材料适当地粘附到给定衬底的其他应用。TCO的制造技术包括膜的磁控溅射、溶胶-凝胶技术、电沉积、气相沉积、直流磁控溅射、RF磁控溅射或两种溅射沉积方法的组合、超声递送和焊接。此外,除了其他方法之外,能够应用使用以下各项的高品质沉积方法:热等离子体(低压(LP)、金属有机(MO)、等离子体增强(PE))化学气相沉积(CVD)、电子束蒸发、脉冲激光沉积和原子层沉积(ALD)。
仅几纳米厚的薄膜(诸如,ALD)能够是柔性的,且因此更不易于开裂和在人体内侧或在给定的非医疗检视部位内侧形成并散布有害颗粒。而且,能够通过ALD来沉积低和高蛋白结合亲和力涂层。这些涂层在诊断学中和预备领域中以及对于抗细菌生长的表面涂层尤为有用。
沉积前和沉积后处理(诸如,用氧等离子体进行的处理)与热治疗能够结合,以获得改进的传导性材料特性。氧等离子体对于当衬底或传导性材料将受高温影响时可以是优选的。取决于过程参数的变化,传导性材料膜能够具有多种多样的材料性质。例如,改变过程参数能够导致膜的多种多样的传导率性质和形态。
如本文中所使用的术语“连接器”应广泛地解释为意指使得能够实现向传导性涂层的电能或其他能量传达的任何结构。术语“连接器”能够指代永久连接(钎焊、胶合、绞合线、具有传导性涂层的传导性路径)或可替换连接器(如插头和线束组件),或将来自能量供给源的能量朝向传导性涂层传输的其他方式。其无需是一直通向涂层的物理连接。例如,其能够经由电磁场(诸如通过电感)连接。术语“连接器”也可以包括允许、调解、提高或以其他方式促进连接的结构和/或功能件。具体类型的连接器是端子,所述端子可以是例如被提供以便或能够与能量供给源电气耦合的传导性材料的区域。端子例如可以是安置在表面上且形状适合于与能量供应导管上的导线的端部接触的传导性金属层。
“连接器区域”是其中连接器能够附接、安装、涂覆、胶合、附连、粘附、分层、重叠于传导性涂层或能够以其他方式向传导性涂层传达能量的区域。

Claims (24)
1.一种与图像捕获装置一起使用的装置,其包括:
光耦合器,所述光耦合器在远端处具有可视化区段,并且在近端处具有附接区段以便附接到所述图像捕获装置,所述光耦合器的可视化区段被配置成允许光学图像传输通过所述光耦合器;
传导性材料,其安置在所述可视化区段的至少一部分上,其中,所述传导性材料是至少部分透明的;
工作通道,所述工作通道位于所述可视化区段中以便接收器械、流体或者使器械、流体穿过;以及
至少一个连接器,其能够向所述传导性材料提供能量。
2.根据权利要求1所述的装置,其中,所述图像捕获装置是观察镜。
3.根据权利要求1所述的装置,其中,所述光耦合器包括透镜。
4.根据权利要求1所述的装置,其中,所述光耦合器一体地安装在观察镜的远端上。
5.根据权利要求4所述的装置,其中,所述光耦合器是透镜。
6.根据权利要求5所述的装置,其中,所述光耦合器的一部分是所述透镜的外、远端表面的一部分。
7.根据权利要求1所述的装置,其中,所述传导性材料是安置在所述光耦合器的一部分上的涂层。
8.根据权利要求1所述的装置,其中,所述传导性材料包括导电氧化物。
9.根据权利要求8所述的装置,其中,所述导电氧化物选自包括以下各项的集合:导电氧化钛和导电氧化铝。
10.根据权利要求1所述的装置,其中,所述连接器配置成连接到能量供给源。
11.根据权利要求10所述的装置,其还包括所述能量供给源。
12.根据权利要求1所述的装置,其中,所述传导性材料配置成从所述连接器接收电能,和生成热能并将其传输到安置成邻近所述传导性材料的组织。
13.根据权利要求1所述的装置,其还包括光学透明介电层,所述光学透明介电层配置成在所述传导性材料与组织之间生成电容场。
14.根据权利要求1所述的装置,其中,所述传导性材料包括至少两个大体平行的传导性带。
15.一种组件,其包括:
图像捕获装置,其具有观察端;
光耦合器,所述光耦合器在远端处具有可视化区段,并且在近端处具有附接区段以便附接到所述图像捕获装置的观察端,所述光耦合器的可视化区段被配置成允许光学图像传输通过所述光耦合器;
所述可视化区段上的传导性表面,其中,所述传导性表面是光学透明的表面;
工作通道,所述工作通道位于所述可视化区段中以便接收器械、流体或者使器械、流体穿过;以及
能量供给源连接件,其配置成向所述传导性表面供应能量。
16.根据权利要求15所述的组件,其中,所述观察端包括观察镜透镜。
17.根据权利要求16所述的组件,其中,所述传导性表面包括在所述观察镜透镜上的涂层。
18.根据权利要求15所述的组件,其中,所述组件包括联接到所述传导性表面的至少一个连接器。
19.根据权利要求18所述的组件,其还包括导体,所述导体在远端处电气地联接到所述连接器、由定位组件支撑并且在近端处连接到所述能量供给源连接件。
20.根据权利要求15所述的组件,其中,所述能量供给源连接件包括导管,所述导管配置成将功率从能量供给源传输到所述图像捕获装置。
21.根据权利要求15所述的组件,其包括多个不重叠的传导性表面。
22.根据权利要求15所述的组件,其中,所述传导性表面通过第二传导性表面连接到所述能量供给源连接件,并且所述第二传导性表面包括铂。
23.根据权利要求15所述的组件,其中,所述能量供给源连接件包括不锈钢。
24.根据权利要求15所述的装置,其中,所述传导性材料配置成从所述连接器接收电能和生成并传输热能以限制起雾。
