Abstract
根据本发明的一个方式,提供一种包含LiCB9H10和LiCB11H12的离子导体的制造方法,该方法包括将LiCB9H10和LiCB11H12以LiCB9H10/LiCB11H12=1.1~20的摩尔比混合的工序。根据本发明的另一方式,提供一种包含锂(Li)、碳(C)、硼(B)和氢(H)的离子导体,其在25℃下进行X射线衍射测定时,至少在2θ=14.9±0.3deg、16.4±0.3deg、17.1±0.5deg具有X射线衍射峰,根据A=(16.4±0.3deg的X射线衍射强度)-(20deg的X射线衍射强度)、B=(17.1±0.5deg的X射线衍射强度)-(20deg的X射线衍射强度)算出的强度比(B/A)为1.0~20。

技术领域
本发明涉及包含LiCB9H10的高温相的离子导体及其制造方法、和包含该离子导体的全固体电池用固体电解质。
背景技术
近年来,在移动信息终端、移动电子设备、电动汽车、混合动力电动汽车和固定式蓄电系统等用途中,锂离子二次电池的需求增加。但是,目前的锂离子二次电池使用可燃性的有机溶剂作为电解液,需要坚固的外包装以防止有机溶剂泄漏。并且,在便携式电脑等中,需要采用能够防备万一电解液泄漏时的风险的构造等,也出现了对设备的构造的限制。
此外,其用途拓展至汽车、飞机等移动体,对于固定式锂离子二次电池需要大容量。在这样的状况下,有比以往更加重视安全性的趋势,致力于开发不使用有机溶剂等有害物质的全固体锂离子二次电池。
例如,作为全固体锂离子二次电池中的固体电解质,正在研究使用氧化物、磷酸化合物、有机高分子、硫化物、配位氢化物等。
全固体电池大类分为薄膜型和块型(bulk-type)。关于薄膜型,虽然通过利用气相成膜能够理想地形成界面接合,但电极层薄至数μm,电极面积也小,每1单元能够储存的能量小,成本也变高。因此,不适合作为需要储存大量能量的大型蓄电装置和用于电动汽车的电池。另一方面,块型的电极层的厚度能够设为数十μm~100μm,能够制作具有高能量密度的全固体电池。
在固体电解质中,硫化物和配位氢化物有离子电导率高、由于比较柔软所以容易形成固体-固体间的界面的特征,正在研究在块型全固体电池中的应用(专利文献1和2)。
但是,现有的硫化物固体电解质具有与水反应的性质,硫化物产生硫化氢,从而存在与水分反应后离子电导率降低的技术问题。另一方面,配位氢化物固体电解质与硫化物固体电解质相比,有离子电导率稍低的倾向,期望提高离子电导率。
专利文献3中,记载了被称为碳硼烷系的固体电解质,但没有记载离子电导率。

发明内容
发明要解决的技术问题
本发明的目的在于,提供离子传导性等各种特性优异的离子导体及其制造方法、以及包含该离子导体的全固体电池用固体电解质。
用于解决技术问题的技术方案
本发明的发明人为了解决上述技术问题而进行了深入研究,结果发现,通过将LiCB9H10和LiCB11H12以特定的摩尔比混合而得到的离子导体能够解决上述技术问题。即,本发明如下述。
<1>一种离子导体的制造方法,上述离子导体包含LiCB9H10和LiCB11H12,上述制造方法包括:
将LiCB9H10和LiCB11H12以LiCB9H10/LiCB11H12=1.1~20的摩尔比进行混合的工序。
<2>如上述<1>所述的离子导体的制造方法,其中,通过实施机械研磨处理来进行上述混合。
<3>如上述<2>所述的离子导体的制造方法,其中,实施上述机械研磨处理的时间为1~48小时。
<4>如上述<1>~<3>中任一项所述的离子导体的制造方法,其中,在25℃下进行X射线衍射测定时,所获得的离子导体至少在2θ=14.9±0.3deg、16.4±0.3deg、17.1±0.5deg具有X射线衍射峰,根据A=(16.4±0.3deg的X射线衍射强度)-(20deg的X射线衍射强度)、B=(17.1±0.5deg的X射线衍射强度)-(20deg的X射线衍射强度)算出的强度比(B/A)为1.0~20。

根据本发明,能够提供离子传导性等各种特性优异的离子导体及其制造方法、以及包含该离子导体的全固体电池用固体电解质。

具体实施方式
以下,对本发明的实施方式进行说明。另外,以下说明的材料、结构等不限定本发明,可以在本发明的主旨的范围内进行各种变更。
1.离子导体
根据本发明的一个实施方式,提供一种离子导体,其包含锂(Li)、碳(C)、硼(B)和氢(H)。上述实施方式优选包含作为结晶的LiCB9H10的高温相(高离子传导相),更优选包含LiCB9H10和LiCB11H12。
本发明的离子导体优选在拉曼光谱测定中,在基于LiCB9H10的749cm-1(±5cm-1)和基于LiCB11H12的763cm-1(±5cm-1)分别具有峰。也可以在其它区域具有峰,但表示各特征的峰如上所述。
本发明的离子导体优选包含作为结晶的LiCB9H10的高温相。LiCB9H10根据其结晶状态具有高温相和低温相,在高温度(例如75~150℃程度)的高温相,离子电导率高,但在室温附近(例如20~65℃程度)则成为低温相,离子电导率下降。
在25℃下进行X射线衍射测定时,本发明的离子导体至少在2θ=14.9±0.3deg、16.4±0.3deg、17.1±0.5deg具有基于LiCB9H10的高温相的X射线衍射峰。优选根据A=(16.4±0.3deg的X射线衍射强度)-(20deg的X射线衍射强度)、B=(17.1±0.5deg的X射线衍射强度)-(20deg的X射线衍射强度)算出的强度比(B/A)在1.0~20的范围,更优选在1.0~15的范围,特别优选在1.0~10的范围。强度比(B/A)在1.0~20的范围的情况下,通过在LiCB9H10的高温相固溶LiCB11H12从而相转移温度降低,在室温附近也能够维持离子电导率高的状态。在LiCB9H10/LiCB11H12=1.1以上的摩尔比时,该固溶成立。优选LiCB9H10/LiCB11H12=1.1~20,更优选LiCB9H10/LiCB11H12=1.25~10,特别优选LiCB9H10/LiCB11H12=1.5~9,在该范围内,离子电导率呈现高的值。
另外,本发明的离子导体即使包含上述以外的X射线衍射峰,也能够获得所期望的效果。
此外,本发明的离子导体也可以包含除锂(Li)、碳(C)、硼(B)以及氢(H)以外的成分。作为其它成分,例如可以列举氧(O)、氮(N)、硫(S)、氟(F)、氯(CI)、溴(Br)、碘(I)、硅(Si)、锗(Ge)、磷(P)、碱金属、碱土金属等。
上述的离子导体柔软,能够通过冷压而成型为电极层和固体电解质层。而且,这样成型的电极层和固体电解质层与包含大量的硫化物固体电解质、氧化物固体电解质的情况相比,强度优异。因此,通过使用本发明的离子导体,能够制作成型性良好、不易破裂(不易产生裂缝)的电极层和固体电解质层。并且,由于本发明的离子导体的密度低,能够制作比较轻的电极层和固体电解质层。由此,能够减轻电池整体的重量,因而优选。此外,在固体电解质层中使用本发明的离子导体时,能够降低与电极层之间的界面电阻。
进而,上述的离子导体即使接触水分或氧也不会分解,不会产生危险的毒性气体。
本发明的离子导体的25℃时的离子电导率优选为1.0~10mScm-1,更优选为2.0~10mScm-1。
2.离子导体的制造方法
根据本发明的另一实施方式,提供一种离子导体的制造方法,该离子导体包含LiCB9H10和LiCB11H12,该制造方法包括将LiCB9H10和LiCB11H12以LiCB9H10/LiCB11H12=1.1~20的摩尔比进行混合的工序。
作为成为原料的LiCB9H10和LiCB11H12,能够使用通常市售的物质。另外,其纯度优选为95%以上,更优选为98%以上。通过使用纯度在上述范围的化合物,容易获得所期望的结晶。
需要将LiCB9H10与LiCB11H12的混合比设为LiCB9H10/LiCB11H12=1.1以上的摩尔比。优选LiCB9H10/LiCB11H12=1.1~20,更优选LiCB9H10/LiCB11H12=1.25~10,特别优选LiCB9H10/LiCB11H12=1.5~9。如上所述,在该范围内,离子电导率呈现特别高的值。
LiCB9H10和LiCB11H12的混合优选在不活泼气体气氛下进行。作为不活泼气体,例如可以列举氦、氮、氩等,优选为氩。优选不活泼气体中的水分和氧的浓度被管理为低浓度,更优选不活泼气体中的水分和氧的浓度低于1ppm。
作为混合的方法,没有特别的限定,能够采用在溶剂中的搅拌混合。也能够采用机械混合,例如可以列举使用擂溃机、球磨机、行星型球磨机、珠磨机、自转公转混合机、高速搅拌型的混合装置、转鼓混合机等的方法。在这些中,更优选粉碎力和混合力优异的行星型球磨机,特别优选使用行星型球磨机实施机械研磨处理并混合。机械混合优选以干式进行,但也可以在溶剂下实施。与上述方法无关,作为溶剂没有特别限制,可以列举以乙腈为首的腈系溶剂、四氢呋喃或二乙醚等醚系溶剂、N,N-二甲基甲酰胺、N,N-二甲基乙酰胺、甲醇或乙醇等醇系溶剂等。
混合时间根据混合的方法而不同,在溶剂中搅拌混合的情况下,例如为1~48小时,优选为5~24小时。另外,在使用溶剂的情况下能够缩短混合时间。作为机械混合中的混合时间,例如在使用行星型球磨机的情况下为1~24小时,优选为5~20小时。
作为反应压力,通常以绝对压力计为0.1Pa~2MPa的范围。优选为101kPa~1MPa。
通过本发明的上述制造方法获得的离子导体在拉曼光谱测定中,优选在基于LiCB9H10的749cm-1(±5cm-1)和基于LiCB11H12的763cm-1(±5cm-1)分别具有峰。另外,在25℃下进行X射线衍射测定时,至少在2θ=14.9±0.3deg、16.4±0.3deg、17.1±0.5deg具有基于LiCB9H10的高温相的X射线衍射峰,根据A=(16.4±0.3deg的X射线衍射强度)-(20deg的X射线衍射强度)、B=(17.1±0.5deg的X射线衍射强度)-(20deg的X射线衍射强度)算出的强度比(B/A)优选在1~20的范围,更优选在1.0~15的范围,特别优选在1.0~10的范围。
3.全固体电池
本发明的离子导体能够作为全固体电池用的固体电解质使用。因此,根据本发明的一个实施方式,提供包含上述离子导体的全固体电池用固体电解质。并且,根据本发明的其他的一个实施方式,提供使用上述的全固体电池用固体电解质的全固体电池。
在本说明书中,全固体电池是指锂离子负责电传导的全固体电池,特别是全固体锂离子二次电池。全固体电池具有在正极层与负极层之间配置有固体电解质层的结构。在正极层、负极层和固体电解质层中的任意一层以上,可以包含本发明的离子导体作为固体电解质。在用于电极层的情况下,相比于负极层,更优选用于正极层。这是因为正极层更不容易发生副反应的缘故。在正极层或负极层中包含本发明的离子导体的情况下,将离子导体和公知的锂离子二次电池用正极活性物质或负极活性物质组合来使用。作为正极层,如果使用活性物质和固体电解质彼此混合的块型,则每单元的容量变大,因而优选。
全固体电池通过将上述的各层成型并层叠来制作,但关于各层的成型方法和层叠方法没有特别的限定。例如,有下述等方法:将固体电解质和/或电极活性物质分散于溶剂而制成浆料状物体,将该浆料状物体通过刮涂、旋涂等进行涂布,将其压延来制膜的方法;利用真空蒸镀法、离子镀敷法、溅射法、激光烧蚀法等进行成膜和层叠的气相法;通过热压或不施加温度的冷压来成型粉末,将其进行层叠的压制法。本发明的离子导体由于比较柔软,特别优选通过压制进行成型和层叠从而制作电池。另外,也可以预先形成加入有活性物质、导电助剂、粘合剂类的电极层,向其流入将固体电解质溶解于溶剂而得的溶液、或使固体电解质分散于溶剂中而得的浆料,之后通过去除溶剂来使固体电解质进入电极层内。
作为制作全固体电池的气氛,优选在水分被管理的不活泼气体或干燥室内实施。作为水分管理,为露点-10℃~-100℃的范围,更优选为露点-20℃~-80℃的范围,特别优选为露点-30℃~-75℃的范围。这是因为,虽然本发明的离子导体的水解速度虽然极其缓慢,但是为了防止由于形成水合物而导致离子电导率降低的现象。
实施例
以下,通过实施例来详细地说明本发明,但本发明的内容不受其限定。
<离子导体的制备>
(实施例1)
在氩气气氛下的手套箱内,将LiCB9H10(Katchem公司制)和LiCB11H12(Katchem公司制)以成为LiCB9H10﹕LiCB11H12=9﹕1的摩尔比的方式量取100mg,通过玛瑙研钵进行预混合。然后,将预混合的原料投入45mL的SUJ-2制罐中,进而投入SUJ-2制球(20个),将罐完全密封。将该罐装安装于行星型球磨机(Fritsch制P7),以转速400rpm实施机械研磨处理20小时,获得离子导体。X射线衍射的结果,所得到的离子导体包含LiCB9H10的高温相。
(实施例2)
将LiCB9H10和LiCB11H12的混合摩尔比变更为LiCB9H10﹕LiCB11H12=8﹕2,除此以外,以与实施例1同样的方式制造离子导体。
(实施例3)
将LiCB9H10和LiCB11H12的混合摩尔比变更为LiCB9H10﹕LiCB11H12=7﹕3,除此以外,以与实施例1同样的方式制造离子导体。
(实施例4)
将LiCB9H10和LiCB11H12的混合摩尔比变更为LiCB9H10﹕LiCB11H12=6﹕4,除此以外,以与实施例1同样的方式制造离子导体。
(比较例1)
将LiCB9H10和LiCB11H12的混合摩尔比变更为LiCB9H10﹕LiCB11H12=5﹕5,除此以外,以与实施例1同样的方式制造离子导体。根据X射线衍射的结果,所得到的离子导体为LiCB9H10和LiCB11H12的混相。
<X射线衍射测定>
对实施例1~4和比较例1中获得的离子导体的粉末,在氩气气氛下、室温(25℃)下,使用林德曼玻璃毛细管(外径0.5mm,厚度0.01mm),实施X射线衍射测定(PANalytical公司制X'pert Pro、 将所得到的X射线衍射峰示于图1A和图1B。图1A中,为了比较,还示出作为原料的LiCB9H10和LiCB11H12的X射线衍射峰。
实施例1~4中,至少在2θ=14.9±0.3deg、16.4±0.3deg、17.1±0.5deg观测到X射线衍射峰。并且,将作为LiCB9H10的高温相的峰位置的16.44deg和17.07deg的峰位置的强度分别设为A和B时,将强度比(B/A)汇总于表1。其中,各自的强度将2θ=20deg的值视为基线,根据A=(16.44deg的X射线衍射强度)-(20deg的X射线衍射强度)、B=(17.07deg的X射线衍射强度)-(20deg的X射线衍射强度)算出。
实施例1~4与LiCB9H10的高温相的峰位置一致,因而可知已成为固溶体,但比较例1为LiCB9H10的低温相和LiCB11H12的混相,可知脱离了固溶区域。

<拉曼光谱测定>
(1)试样制备
(2)测定条件
使用激光拉曼分光光度计NRS-5100(日本分光株式会社制),以激发波长532.15nm、曝光时间5秒进行测定。将所得到的拉曼光谱示于图2。
LiCB9H10在749cm-1具有峰,LiCB11H12在763cm-1具有峰。另外,拉曼位移值来源于键合,几乎不受结晶状态影响。实施例1~2中,763cm-1的峰为749cm-1的肩峰,实施例3~4和比较例1中,749cm-1的峰为763cm-1的肩峰,但可知均存在LiCB9H10和LiCB11H12。
<离子电导率测定>
在氩气气氛下的手套箱内,将实施例1~4和比较例1中获得的离子导体、作为原料的LiCB9H10和LiCB11H12进行单轴成型(240MPa),制作厚度约1mm、的圆盘。在从室温至150℃或80℃的温度范围内,以10℃间隔进行升温/降温,通过利用锂电极的二端子法进行交流阻抗测定(HIOKI 3532-80、chemical impedance meter),算出离子电导率。测定频率范围为4Hz~1MHz,振幅为100mV。
将各自的离子电导率的测定结果示于图3。并且,将室温(25℃)下的离子电导率示于表2。另外,实施例1~4和比较例1中,均未观测到作为原料的LiCB9H10和LiCB11H12中可见的在低温下离子电导率急剧下降的现象。但是,可知比较例1与实施例1~4的离子电导率之差较大,即使是实施例1~4中离子电导率最低的实施例4,室温下的离子电导率也相比于比较例1提高了2倍。

(实施例5)
<利用锂对称单元的溶解/析出试验>
将实施例3中获得的离子导体的粉末放入直径8mm的粉末锭剂成型机,以压力143MPa压制成型为圆盘状,获得层叠有固体电解质层(300μm)的圆盘状的粒料。在该粒料的两侧粘贴厚度200μm、的金属锂箔(本城金属公司制),放入SUS304制的全固体电池用约束试验单元(宝泉制)并密封,制成评价单元。上述操作均在氩气气氛下的手套箱内进行。对所制作的评价单元,使用恒电位仪/恒电流仪(Bio-Logic制VMP3),以测定温度25℃、电流密度0.2mA/cm-2,将以各0.5小时的方式使极性翻转而流通电流的过程设为1循环(以1小时为1循环),测定施加于评价单元的电极间的电压。将结果示于图4。过电压小到低于0.01V且平稳,也没有示出异常的电压。即使在100循环后,过电压的增加也止于微小程度,表示良好地重复Li的溶解/析出。
(实施例6)
<充放电试验>
(正极活物质的制备)
将硫(S)(Sigma-Aldrich公司制,纯度99.98%)、科琴黑(Lion公司制,EC600JD)和Maxsorb(注册商标)(关西热化学制,MSC30),以成为S﹕科琴黑﹕Maxsorb(注册商标)=50﹕25﹕25的重量比的方式投入45mL的SUJ-2制罐中。进而投入SUJ-2制球(20个),将罐完全密封。将该罐装安装于行星型球磨机(Fritsch制P7),以转速400rpm进行20小时的机械研磨,获得S-碳复合物正极活性物质。
(正极层粉末的制备)
以上述制备的S-碳复合物正极活性物质﹕实施例3中获得的离子导体=1﹕1(重量比)的方式在手套箱内量取粉末,利用研钵进行混合来制成正极层粉末。
(全固体电池的制作)
将实施例3中获得的离子导体的粉末放入直径10mm的粉末锭剂成型机,以压力143MPa压制成型为圆盘状(固体电解质层的形成)。不取出成型物而将上述所制备的正极层粉末放入锭剂成型机,以压力285MPa进行一体成型。这样,获得层叠有正极层(75μm)和固体电解质层(300μm)的圆盘状的粒料。在该粒料的正极层的相反侧粘贴厚度200μm、的金属锂箔(本城金属公司制)作为锂负极层,将其放入SUS304制的全固体电池用约束试验单元(宝泉制)并密封,制成全固体二次电池。
(充放电试验)
对如上述制得的全固体二次电池,使用恒电位仪/恒电流仪(Bio-Logic制VMP3),以测定温度25℃、截止电压1.0~2.5V、0.1C倍率的恒电流,从放电开始进行充放电试验。另外,关于放电容量,将进行试验的电池中获得的放电容量作为硫系电极活性物质每1g的值来表述。并且,根据库伦效率=充电容量/放电容量进行计算。将结果示于图5。
在初次放电时,虽然观测到大的不可逆容量,但在第2循环以后示出98%以上的高库伦效率。作为循环特性,初次的放电容量为1900mAh/g,与此相对,第2循环为1300mAh/g,落差较大,但在第3循环以后变得稳定,第20循环的放电容量为1100mAh/g,能够获得大的视在容量。
Claims (12)
1.一种离子导体的制造方法,所述离子导体包含LiCB9H10和LiCB11H12,所述制造方法的特征在于,包括:
将LiCB9H10和LiCB11H12以LiCB9H10/LiCB11H12=1.1~20的摩尔比进行混合的工序。
2.如权利要求1所述的离子导体的制造方法,其特征在于:
通过实施机械研磨处理来进行所述混合。
3.如权利要求2所述的离子导体的制造方法,其特征在于:
实施所述机械研磨处理的时间为1~48小时。
4.如权利要求1~3中任一项所述的离子导体的制造方法,其特征在于:
在25℃下进行X射线衍射测定时,所获得的离子导体至少在2θ=14.9±0.3deg、16.4±0.3deg、17.1±0.5deg具有X射线衍射峰,根据A=(16.4±0.3deg的X射线衍射强度)-(20deg的X射线衍射强度)、B=(17.1±0.5deg的X射线衍射强度)-(20deg的X射线衍射强度)算出的强度比B/A为1.0~20。
5.一种离子导体,所述离子导体包含锂(Li)、碳(C)、硼(B)以及氢(H),其特征在于:
在25℃下进行X射线衍射测定时,至少在2θ=14.9±0.3deg、16.4±0.3deg、17.1±0.5deg具有X射线衍射峰,根据A=(16.4±0.3deg的X射线衍射强度)-(20deg的X射线衍射强度)、B=(17.1±0.5deg的X射线衍射强度)-(20deg的X射线衍射强度)算出的强度比B/A为1.0~20。
6.如权利要求5所述的离子导体,其特征在于:
所述离子导体包含LiCB9H10。
7.如权利要求6所述的离子导体,其特征在于:
所述离子导体还包含LiCB11H12。
8.如权利要求5~7中任一项所述的离子导体,其特征在于:
在拉曼光谱测定中,在749cm-1(±5cm-1)和763cm-1(±5cm-1)分别具有峰。
9.如权利要求5~8中任一项所述的离子导体,其特征在于:
25℃时的离子电导率为1.0~10mScm-1。
10.一种全固体电池用固体电解质,其特征在于,包含:
权利要求5~9中任一项所述的离子导体。
11.一种电极,其特征在于:
通过使权利要求10所述的固体电解质和金属锂相接触而成。
12.一种全固体电池,其特征在于,具有:
权利要求11所述的电极。
