Background
The potato with high selenium content is produced by using sodium selenite seed dressing spray and other cultivation methods. At present, the method for cultivating selenium-rich potatoes by using sodium selenite for dressing seeds is basically composed of the steps of sowing the seeds of the potatoes after the sodium selenite is mixed with wet wheat grains, and uniformly spraying the wheat grains with a sodium selenite wet dilute solution in the bulk stage and the flowering stage of the potatoes. In order to increase the selenium content of the potatoes in the cultivation process, a potassium fertilizer is applied in the flowering phase of the potatoes, so that the potassium fertilizer is increased for absorbing and converting the plants into organic matters.
The yield of the selenium-rich potatoes is low when the selenium-rich potatoes are ripe in the conventional cultivation method of the selenium-rich potatoes.
